The importance of the Nodal axis
The axis of the nodes of the moon (they are opposite points in the sky) has always been considered an important indicator for development whether in ancient or modern astrology. It symbolizes a flow between past, present and future, marks the evolutionary path in a chart, either for a person or a situation. The nodal axis, as it is called, represents the dynamic quality of our development, its orientation, and the background in which transcendent or routinary experiences take place every day. Therefore, the contacts this nodal axis makes with planets, asteroids, stars, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters are important and indicate the different shapes of our own evolution and the events we experience.
The South Node (also called the Dragon's Tail) represents the past and experience, while the North Node (the Dragon Head) symbolizes the future, and the things we must strive for in order to have further development. For that reason, it is sometimes erroneously assumed that contacts from planets to the South Node always point out a tendency towards involution. But evolution is in our hands, and the result depends on how we use our resources. In this July 2011, the South Node makes an ecliptic conjunction with the Orion Nebula, one of the most creative places of our galaxy, and this is certainly an indicator of fertility that we have at our disposal to continue our way, as individuals and as a species. The transit is made by the South Node, suggesting, for example, that we can reactivate pre-established relationships or projects that were started earlier and have been waiting for better times to be implemented.
The Great Orion Nebula as a symbol of abundance and fertility
M42, Messier 42, or NGC1976, the astronomical labels of the Great Nebula in Orion, is a huge cloud of hydrogen which is actually forming lots of stars. The nebula can be seen with the naked eye as a patch of diffuse light below the 3 stars that form Orion's belt. Due to the large amount of thermal energy generated by star formation, it is a bright object in the infrared, indicating an abundance of material resources at the astrological level. It is also bright in the ultraviolet, which translates into intellectual resources, information, knowledge. The Orion Nebula is a cosmic womb, full of fertility, which indicates, among other things, the generation of ideas, business relationships, and great possibilities whether material, social or intellectual.

The South Node exact contact happens on July 17, 2011, but the movement of the nodes is slow and in fact this trend is valid for the entire month of July 2011. The transit of Venus in parallel to the South Node on July 12 activates this trend, so it is likely to experience a very favorable revitalization of projects and relationships around this date. Do not miss this opportunity! Of course, the magnitude of resources available will depend on what we have done in the past, but we all have something previously worked or in the waiting. Previous relationships will also allow us to give strength to personal development in the coming weeks. Is also a month to finish pending issues that need an injection of energy to reah a happy ending.
In short, if you want go ahead, look at your past, distant or recent. Dig into your closet, your mind, your bank account, your phonebook, or under the mattress, and without a doubt you'll discover something that can help to energize your present. Fertility is at our disposal ...
Take advantage of it...and share!
