June 12th: Chiron is stationary in opposition to the supernova Vela Junior, bringing great healing and revealing insights; Mercury in opposition to star cluster M70 liberate us from manipulation

June 12th: Chiron starts its retrograde period in opposition to Vela Junior, a supernova explosion in the constellation Vela. Do not confuse it with the Supernova Vela remnant, which is bigger and older. We've been mentioning Vela SR in the Galactic Guide because, recently, on June 4th, Neptune made its station in opposition to it. Vela Junior is another supernova explosion, much younger (800 years) and discovered  in 1998. Vela Junior is superimposed on the cloud of the Vela supernova... it is a relatively young supernova, and is one of the strongest sources of gamma rays in the sky, the higher electromagnetic frequency... This indicates that Chiron's retrograde station can lead to great insights, enhancing the therapeutic process it represents, taking it to its highest manifestation...    

     This may be expressed primarily in the area of health: there may be excellent diagnoses and a deep understanding of many ailments. It is an excellent time to do lab tests, medical tests and studies, as through them we can get to the root of the problems from the physical point of view. But it is equally important to unravel the psychological structure of the physical or mental illness. Chiron in Pisces, with its psychological sensitivity together with Vela Junior, stimulate transcendent perception, which will certainly lead to great discoveries in one's own psyche.    

      During the following days, probably as much as two weeks, the causes of our behavior and personality may come to light if we investigate in our personal history and family background... Therefore it is an appropriate time for psychoanalysis, for all kinds of psychological therapies, for dream analysis, meditation and introspection. Chiron will confront us with everything in our mind, emotions and physical body that is not in harmony with the universe, with our higher self, our higher destiny and our deepest talent. Chiron will compel us to heal and balance this in order to be restore a harmonious union with the universal flow. What we do need to change for our potential to flow?    

      The same can be applied to studies and academic activities, which are in themselves the other side of Chiron (healing/teaching are its main attributes). The intuitive, superconscious qualities of Vela Junior will give a push and and unusual depth to investigations and to the understanding of the subjects to study. However, going so deep can also expose difficult situations, that can be embarrassing by their complication. It can also expose emotional wounds that require major changes to find a solution, beyond the mere study or academic interest.    

     Everyone will find something different on his/her path, but this is a very good opportunity to detect and heal areas that prevent a harmonious union with our higher destiny, with our highest potential. Perhaps we will work on it during the next six months, but around these days certainly we will glimpse the new direction to follow.  

     Internationally, Chiron represents the parts of society who do not feel accepted or integrated, and the opposition to Vela Junior implies that, in the coming weeks, these sectors of society will have to draw attention to themselves, manifesting the real weight they have in society. Events may happen that will let in evidence the underrated population and their needs. But this would happen in order to integrate them, to provide resources and attention to areas that require care, nurturing, protection and no more injuries, neglect and harassment. It is a process in which everyone can participate by putting some little energy into a noble and altruistic cause. There's plenty! Do at least one or a few!  

     On the other hand, Mercury is now in opposition to star cluster M70, at 120° from Chiron and at 135° from Juno. This astrological combination between star cluster, asteroids and planet represents adjustments of power in relationships,. This includes love relationships, which today can go through a stressful time in general. In many cases, we will have to rethink the purpose of the relationship and the duties and privileges of each party. M70 is a cluster with a gravitational core collapse, which represents a difficult coexistence: there might be power games in relationships and therefore problems to reach agreements... The trend is about not letting oneself being controlled by others, but it also makes cooperation difficult. It is advisable to postpone important agreements and discussions for another, more harmonious, day. But it is also a good time to be internally free from people, situations or behaviors involving manipulation and not cooperation.
