March 30/31: Venus conjunct Chiron and star cluster M39, in contra parallel to galaxy M61 indicates the healing of disturbing situations through harmony and relaxation

   The Venus / Chiron combination is undoubtedly a healing trend, either through introspection, in a rich and profound dialog or through therapies  based in restoring harmony, balance. This can be extremely necessary, since Venus is in contra parallel to M61, a conflictive galaxy in the sense that it is very energetic: seven supernovae have been observed in its interior. The M61 contra parallel to Venus indicates undoubtedly the need to balance disturbing situations in which the normal rhythm has been disrupted violently by external factors or drastic changes, typical of supernova explosions.

     On the other hand, Venus is in ecliptic conjunction to M39, an open cluster of stars located in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan, and whose main characteristic is that it is widespread, disperse, with no significant concentration towards their center. This indicates that M39 is a "relaxed" cluster, and that the transit of Venus and Chiron over it involves healing through relaxation, tranquility, removing pressure, releasing the tension and dissolving stiffness, whether physical, emotional or mental. And the main ingredient is undoubtedly love, compassion, and empathy, qualities of the Venus / Chiron combination in the zodiacal sign of Pisces.

The Solar Eclipse conjunct the group of galaxies The Box, in opposition to Chiron reveals an important time for health, learning, repairs and social integration

Solar Eclipse in ecliptic conjunction with The Box, in opposition to Chiron and nebula M 78

      The solar eclipse this time falls in ecliptic conjunction to the box, a group of 4 galaxies in the constellation Coma Berenices. From Earth, we see them lined up in a rectangle, which gives rise to its popular name. Right angles suggest order, structure, as well as the number 4, so that The Box represents situations that are structured or need to be structured. Even more so, when the box is in the zodiac sign of Virgo, known to be the most orderly of the zodiac. Definitely, the eclipse trend indicates that we need to put structure and order in ... what?

     The eclipse falls in an almost exact opposition to Chiron, so this small planet has an important role in this eclipse. Chiron 's main astrological association is with health and healing...      This combination represents an excellent communication in relationships, so it is advisable to take advantage of it and have in-depth conversations with important people. Mercury represents communication, while Juno suggests intimacy and commitment. Therefore, it is an excellent time to strengthen ties through a deep and effective communication: significant goals may be achieved.

    Further, included in this trend is star cluster M48 in the constellation Hydra, whose combination of stars of spectral type A and G reveals a strong need to be listened to. Its brightest star has a luminosity of 70 times that of our Sun, which obviously symbolizes an entity that draws attention. It is advisable, then, to find the right forum for our ideas. November 17 /18: Mercury and Galaxy Centaurus A overcome barriers to communication , Mars , Ceres and the Great Orion Nebula (M42) enhance productivity, Chiron and the North America Nebula put symptoms in evidence for healing

November 17 /18: Mercury, now in direct motion, is in ecliptic conjunction to Centaurus A and the Moon's North Node. Within a week of having finished its retrograde period, Mercury repeats the conjunctions it made to several galaxies in the past few weeks, but now in the opposite direction. The turn now is for Centaurus A, a galaxy with a strong emission of radio waves, emphasizing communication with Mercury´s transit. However, Centaurus A has a dense cloud of dust  passing right through its center, thus representing obstacles, as it blocks the light flow... Hence, this can be interpreted as an opportunity to overcome communication problems that have plagued humanity in previous weeks. In any case, this is a good moment for removing the barriers to the proper functioning of things, including household appliances, business projects, relationship difficulties, stagnant creative ideas... It is an ideal day to confront and overcome obstacles with relative ease ... Don´t miss this opportunity!

     Mars is in parallel to Ceres and contra parallel to M42, the Great Nebula in Orion. This  indicates a highly productive combination, focused on promoting emerging projects and on ing them the necessary attention. Martian energy, which is usually somewhat aggressive, is channeled now by two gret mothers: Ceres, the largest minor planet in the solar system, and M42, one of the most fertile areas of the galaxy in terms of star creation... This indicates a very productive frequency, ideal for pushing forward any type of work, especially if it is related to plants, nutrition, food, children, animals, nature and protection issues. Children and / or symbolic children will tend to be more demanding at the beginning of this week. Also any project that is in its early stages, like a child demanding attention and support.      Chiron ends its retrograde period and stays stationary conjunct the North America Nebula and in parallel to star cluster M14. This has the connotation of traumatic events that are put in evidence in order to be healed. The North America is very bright and is strongly enhanced with compared to its surroundings, hence the tendency to put things in evidence. On the other hand, M14 is a globular cluster of old stars, many of them variables, and is of elongated shape, an indicator that it has received strong external gravitational influence, symbolizing traumatic events or interactions. Chiron exposes its wounds and makes them conscious so they can heal faster. On the physical plane, it is possible that some symptoms will become more pronounced ths week, and this would be an indicator that the healing process is effective, not the opposite. Analyze carefully the manifestation of the disease and be guided by it for the prescription of an appropriate therapy .

     In the emotional and mental plane, it is a good time for insights and exploring precisely those areas of our personality that have more traumas, complexes, insecurity, theweak points... Talking about them will start the healing process. To keep things hidden will hinder a positive resolution. To express emotional issues will keep the flow of life and will be quite liberating. October 28/29: Pluto, Chiron, star cluster M70 and the North America Nebula activate the transformation of outdated formulas, opening the gates to personal and social regeneration

October 28/29: Pluto is conjunct globular cluster M70 and sextile to Chiron and the North America Nebula. This probably represents the main trend of the week and probably of the month. Although it peaks in exactness today (28/29 ), it has been taking shape for about two weeks, and will remain active for another two. The extended period of influence of this astrological combination is explained by the fact it is formed by two slow planets, and this is means a prolonged, more profound effect. The processes to which this trend is associated are as important, and are already being manifested at a personal and at a collective level.


Conflictive but regenerative atmosphere that highlights marginalized elements

       M70 is a globular cluster with a gravitational core collapse, which implies difficult relations between its stars, a disorganized or conflicting interaction. However, M70 has only two variable stars, giving it a connotation of stability and firmness. The combination of these qualities involves a lot of instability in the social sphere, especially with slow transit of Pluto, which is profoundly transforming the current benchmarks of society. The present organization is not functioning properly, the atmosphere tends to disagreement, yet there is firmness or persistence. Solutions may be difficult to achieve among rebellion and stubbornness...

     Fortunately, we have Chiron involved with Pluto, as it placed at 60° from it in the tropical zodiac. Chiron, which is usually given difficult and painful astrological connotations, is currently in ecliptic conjunction to the North America Nebula, a combination that strongly highlights and exhibits social and personal wounds. Chiron often feels rejected, isolated, and the brightness of the North America Nebula brings to light the marginalized elements of personality or society. With Pluto's strength, however, it is possible to heal through the integration of those marginalized elements, addressing their needs. Collectively, of course, due to lack of awareness, will continue to generate atrocities in different parts of the world, mass manipulation, disruptive protests, tragic deaths and major injuries to nature and human beings. Such is the destructive force of Pluto combined with Chiron. But everything has a positive side on it and this astrological combination also brings us the possibility of healing through regeneration, a necessary purge that eliminates harmful or obsolete elements that block development.


Leading changes consciously through healing, research, teaching

     Those who are weak and resistant to change are more likely to be swept away by the Plutonian flow, that works as a eliminator of old stuff. We must be strong and encourage changes consciously as we see them coming. However, at the individual level we can do much more through our own awareness of these processes. (TV , internet, etc. . ). The healing energy will mainly benefit those engaged in the medical profession or any kind of therapy, whether physical or psychological. Diagnostics can be profound, in order to see the real roots of problems and then see where the changes need to be implemented. Certain diseases, if left by themselves may actually worsen, so it's time to intervene appropriately. Depending on the case, success can be achieved in detox therapies, psychoanalysis , rebirth, cell regeneration, and those that involve a reorganization of the body's metabolism.

      The other areas in which this trend can have a positive influence are research and teaching. Pluto's depth mixed with Chiron's wisdom, the persistence and questioning of M70 and the exposure of the North America Nebula can result in great research and great classes. August 26/27: Juno, Saturn and the Tarantula Nebula ask for the definition of boundaries and goals to improve commitment in relationships. Venus, Uranus and star cluster M3 help to overcome insecurities, among other trends. Find about the astrological trends today and choose your frequency!

August 26/27: The week begins with several important trends, and you probably won't have time to experience them all. We can connect with any of them unconsciously, but the ideal is to choose which one is best for us to suit our needs. Here are the main trends at the start of the week, just select those that seem most appropriate for you, or identify which one is manifesting spontaneously...

     Juno in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, in square to Saturn. The asteroid of partnerships is at 90° from Saturn, indicating a moment of tension or limitation in close relationships. It is possible that some relationships will enter a frustrating mood. However, it is an excellent moment to define, renew or build commitments, and to set limits. Many relationships have no limits, and that most likely implies an invasion of the individuality of each member. Or perhaps it is necessary to define common goals, to restore and redefine the meaning of commitment, to discern what corresponds to the couple or the team and what corresponds to each individual person. This is one of the best times of the year to do that.

     Juno is in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, a giant star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. This indicates that the demands of close  relationships in general (partner or friendship, relationships, work, family, etc..), may be excessive. The Tarantula Nebula is excessively large, hence representing big expectations, but they have to be worked out to be materialized, in this case, in pairs or in teams. For this to happen, it is necessary to define common objectives and set reasonable goals. In this case, the limitation is positive, as it relates to reorganize life together, whether in marriage or other close relationship, and this can lead to a very productive and connected cooperation. Saturn in contra parallel to M95 confirms this trend, since M95 is a fertile galaxy with an enhanced star production, but this requires organization. It's worth sitting for talking about common goals and give them due importance. And if the relationship is in crisis, now is the time to confront and find solutions.

     Venus is conjunct star cluster M3, and in opposition to Uranus. This represents a possible solution to feelings of insecurity, incompatibility or instability in relationships. M3 is a cluster with many variable stars, and also many stars that have collided with each other. But M3 is not a body that can be ignored, because of its size: it is one of the biggest star clusters seen from Earth, so great that it can even be seen with the naked eye in good conditions, in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is therefore inevitable to confront the insecurities caused by some relationships. But now we must follow a different strategy.

     Urans has been in opposition to M3 for several months, so that the most common reaction to insecurity or incompatibility was separation, taking a distance. But the transit of Venus today allows us to approach  with harmony, albeit briefly, to people or situations that generate insecurity or that have shown a lack of compatibility in the past. Perhaps the differences and the reasons of insecurity will appear in a more realistic and less threatening way. This will ease up situations and will allow us to do something constructive in circumstances and company we wouldn't expect.

     Venus is also quincunx (150 °) to Chiron, which is contra parallel to star cluster M5. The M5/Chiron mix indicates chronic circulation or respiratory problems, because cluster M5 is a very old one: its age is 13 billion years. Hence its association with chronic diseases, but thanks to the transit of Venus, there may be a relief, a visible improvement, or, even better, a total recovery. Hence, therapies that seek  harmonization to balance metabolic deficiencies can be highly effective. Psychologically, this combination is referred to heal the psychological effects of insecurity or neglect. But it also works great for studying or doing research in matters of the remote past: archeology, history, ancient cultures...

     The Sun makes its annual conjunction with the Vela supernova, but this time in opposition to Neptune. This indicates a moment of inspiration, that can match transcendent visions, unbridled imagination, as well as a penetrating and revealing approach to our daily lives. The Vela supernova, just as others of its kind, represent the ability to penetrate beyond the visible reality, due to its high X-ray emission. August 11/12: Jupiter is at 150° from Juno, indicating the need to ease the pressure on relationships and find fulfillment in communication. Jupiter, a dominant planet in size and magnetic field, is in contra parallel to M80, a highly compressed cluster which exerts much gravitational pressure on its stars. This may represent an excessive pressure in relationships, whether they are romantic, work, family or friendship ones. Juno, meanwhile, is in parallel to star cluster M48, whose A-type stars emphasize expression. Juno needs to talk, to share, to listen and to be heard ... Even more so now that she is in contact with her mythological husband, which is precisely Jupiter ...

    Jupiter and Juno are at 150° from each other in ecliptic longitude, a distance that represents an adjustment. There is a need to release the everyday routine. It is convenient to emphasize communication and expressiveness: it will be useful to express ideas and feelings that have been hidden so far. That will help relax everyday pressure and the accumulated impact it has on our relationships. If there is no good disposition for communication, then it is likely that this trend will manifest through power plays. The sesquiquadrate contact (135°) with Neptune indicates that this mental enhancement is directed towards imagination, so well represented by this planet. Now this may represent both a tendency to be evasive as well as a great moment of mental creativity. The energy can be readily dispersed through daydreaming, and therefore it is important to materialize good ideas, solutions or specific creations that arise in projects. Do not let great ideas evaporate! Put them into practice with well-defined, achievable goals...

     Mercury is in parallel to star cluster M44, square to Saturn and biquintile Chiron. Mercury represents communication, ideas, and M44, the Beehive Cluster, emphasizes much expressiveness with its A-type stars. However, the square to Saturn limits this communication, or at least adds a tone of seriousness. If you connect with this trend,  forget frivolity and superficiality. This combination is not very good for advertising, so if you want to promote a project, it is best to wait a couple of days more... And despite the great need to communicate, some things are best kept in the dark. Indiscration will certainly entail severe problems. In any case, the best way to channel this trend is undoubtedly through mind structuring, researching, and studying seriously any topic that really interests you. By disciplining the mind, you will get better results than trying to break free of impediments or to overcome obstacles. That would be frustrating. Concentrate your mind on your tasks, and avoid seeing only the negative side of things.

     Pallas is in opposition to star cluster M54, square Uranus and trine Chiron. This trend relates to the need to change original plans and integrate new ideas, concepts or people to them. If something goes wrong, it may be best to change the strategy, even if this was not considered previously. In many instances, tointegrate external elements may work better. This follows from the fact that M54 was born in another galaxy, the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy, which is being currently absorbed by our Milky Way. This cluster represents the ability to assimilate valuable elements that come from external sources. On the other hand, it is also possible that external and surprising elements force us to change our strategies, and that can be uncomfortable, disturbing and even disastrous. It depends on each particular situation, but you have to focus on new things that come from outside, whether to give new impetus to our projects or to protect yourself against unexpected intrusions.

This opposition indicates a great need for expression and communication at various levels. This means that social life this weekend can be fun with great conversations, an intense and satisfying sexual expression, a friendly exchange, sharing with the family, and also through energetic, brilliant artistic performances. Wh? M11 contains a large amount of A-type stars, which emphasize communication and expressiveness.

     This, coupled with the natural magnetism of the relationship Venus / Mars, can not but bring plenty of affection and amusement among people, at least for this weekend and first days of next week. What is to be avoided is excess of all kinds as M11, in its symbolism of abundance, may involve an exaggerated need of communication that would hinder the flow of cooperation, the real need to share.      Venus is in opposition to Chiron and in parallel to galaxy M49. This combination is about healing through harmony, balance. M49 has a spectral type G7, indicating mainly digestive disorders. Healing is also reflected in the Cosmos, and since there is not always a lineup mixing Venusian harmony, the healing skills of Chiron and a galaxy of type G7, this is a very good time to do something for our  stomach. July 20/21: The weekend brings several different trends that include ideological separations, a productive end of Mercury's retrograde period, the struggle to replace old strategies, the breaking of dependencies and detox therapies. Get to know what the current astrological frequencies are, decide which one to connect with and make the best of this weekend!

July 20/21: Venus is at 135° from Uranus, in ecliptic conjunction to the Puppis A supernova, in contra parallel to the Eagle Nebula (M16). This is an intense trend that must be handled with care, as it indicates a strong introspection that may cause separations involving ideological differences. The Puppis A supernova is a relatively young one, and also one of the stronger X-ray sources in our galaxy. This symbolizes in-depth conversations and introspection, as in a psychotherapy. But to delve into the depths of the psyche can bring insights that may certainly cause drastic changes. The Puppis A supernova is an asymmetric explosion, ie, in which the neutron star is ejected in the opposite direction to the rest of the star's debris. This certainly symbolizes separation: hence, in these conditions, we must be careful and not get too much into the affairs of others. For psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, this is excellent, because it implies that the core of the personality gets rid of unnecessary attitudes, habits and psychological complexes that harm an optimal development. And instead of rejecting people or separating in such a confrontational way, it is wiser to withdraw from conflict, as does the pulsar of Puppis A, escaping  from the site of the explosion at the prodigious speed of 600 miles per second!

     Mercury ends its retrograde period, getting stationary in ecliptic opposition to star cluster M11, the Wild Duck Cluster. This symbolizes a huge opportunity to generate wealth, since M11 is one of the most abundant among star clusters. The spectral type of the stars of M11 reveals the way in which this wealth can be materialized. Its stars of type A, K and G, represent expressiveness, productivity and self-assertion, respectively. The communicative qualities of Mercury, restricted during the last few weeks because of its retrograde motion, can be released now through dissemination of ideas, publicity, advertising, etc., symbolized by the A-type stars. Meanwhile, the K-type orange stars emphasize productivity and the generation of new projects and initiatives. The yellow stars of type G represent the will to succeed, the need to break through in the middle of difficulties, and the desire to win. Therefore, it is necessary to put in place the resources and organize so that, during the next two weeks at least,we can implement important strategies: it is an excellent time to make projects advance.      Mars is trine to Neptune and Saturn, opposed to the Eagle Nebula (M16) and star cluster M18. After Jupiter completed the famous Grand Trine (120° distance) with Saturn and Neptune last week, Mars is now at the same position, prolonging the effects of this unusual equilateral triangle in the sky. The meaning of the Grand Trine is the possibility of improving difficult or complicated situations in which now Mars contributes with his energy and enthusiasm. Mars' opposition to the Eagle Nebula represents the need to compensate and overcome the prejudices that are actually at the root of problems. This will require to update concepts, ideas, plans, and interpretations that are outdated or simply do not work in present circumstances. This process will meet resistance, of course, but the challenge is to overcome it through proper reasoning and practical demonstrations. On the other hand, Mars is also opposed, a few hours later, to star cluster M18, an aspect that implies the need to introduce new ideas or strategies, which, precisely because they are new, recent or modern, will find rejection even they they represent an improvement . M18 is composed of young stars, but it is somewhat obscured by a thick curtain of cosmic dust: this indicates new ideas that encounter resistance. In summary, Mars has to provide energy to overcome prejudices and introduce, sometimes forcibly, new strategies to improve situations for the benefit of all. It is a difficult task, but a noble one, that requires a certain degree of courage. If you connect with this frequency you will definitely be the hero or heroine of your own life.      Ceres is trine Uranus, conjunct star cluster M67. This combination indicates independence and emancipation, but in a fluent way, not with violence as with Puppis A. Uranus represents liberation, while Ceres, with her maternal protectiveness, represents dependency. M67 is a very old cluster, whose age has been estimated at 4 billion years, representing traditions, institutions, which, coupled with Ceres, indicates old values that protect individuals. But after a while, individuals alsothe  need to fly with their own wings, and this seems to be an indicator of breaking of umbilical cords. Those who connect with this frequency must release and let go in order not to overprotect their loved ones or their favorite projects. And if you have been under great protection, this is the moment to spread your wings and make a flight on your own. To continue in the shell once it is broken would be abnormal, humiliating and will certainly cause discomfort. Enjoy your freedom!

      The Sun is at 135° from Chiron, in ecliptic conjunction with M82, the Cigar Galaxy. This is a health-related trend, indicating tha detox therapies can enhance the body's vitality. This is especially true for the adrenals, kidneys, colon, intestines and sexual organs. M82 is a galaxy with strong infrared emission, due to the combination of a lot of dark dust and young stars within it. Infrared emission is related to the basic mechanisms of survival, including the body's function of getting rid of toxic metabolic waste. Thus, any  disease related to conditions of poor elimination can start to vanish during this weekend through the implementation of appropriate therapies to purify the body.

     However, not any therapy will work effectively: we must accurately calculate its application. Excessive strength in an advanced disease or conditions of great weakness may cause an imbalance, and therefore in such cases it is better to have a professional advice. June 15/16: Pick your astrological trend among many this weekend: Juno retrograde and cluster M30 rebuild relationships, M36, the Sun and Vesta dazzle with their brightness, Mars and M12 lift up disorganized projects. Chiron retrograde and galaxy M65, work on tired metabolisms, Venus and the Cat's Eye Nebula resolve complicated relationships, Mercury, Mars and star cluster M21 initiate great projects...

      Juno gets retrograde conjunct globular cluster M30 and at 150° from Mercury. This trend is strong, as Juno, the asteroid of relationships is visually stationary, beginning a new phase of its annual cycle of retrogradation. This phase begins today and ends on December 5, so this event defines the basic outline of the next semester in social and love life, and particularly in partnerships or marriage. The Juno conjunction with M30 indicates emotional healing and respect for individuality right now. M30 is a conflictive cluster inside, because of the existing excessive pressure, which has made its core go through a gravitational collapse. Therefore, these six months can be very good for rebuilding relationships if one is willing to adapt and understand the other's point of view, but not necessarily compromise on everything.

     Mars is in opposition to M12 and at 150° from Pluto. This astrological combination reflects a compensating trend. M12 is a disperse cluster, representing a certain lack of energy. Mars, the planet of energetic display, with the largest volcano in the solar system, opposes M12, injecting his energy and creating a balance. This frequency is good for energizing loose areas or dispersion. However, the relationship of Mars to Pluto can indicate tampering, destruction, and even abuse of the weak and tragedies. Personally, it is better to channel this constructively with a consistent but moderate activity, and then it will be possible to structure projects and fix situations successfully.      The Sun is in parallel to Vesta and conjunct M36. This combination is unusually bright, in the literal sense of the word. The Sun does not need its brightness to be explained, while Vesta is one of the most bright asteroids as it reflects a lot of light from its surface. Perhaps that is why it was the fourth to be discovered. As if this was not enough, M36 is a cluster containing a star that shines with 360 times the luminosity of the Sun! This unique mix definitely needs Ray-Ban glasses and a good sunscreen, hopefully in the next couple of days the Sun does not have another major eruption, because that would be n excess of light. Anyway, the trend is to look on the bright (conscious) side of our personality in order to develop the innate talents that we have and focus on their implementation. In the spiritual plane, it is, despite the redundancy, a time of great lighting, perfect for retreats, meditations, prayers, visualization, and other similar activities. Explore the unconscious may also prove fruitful, and in general any process that intends to expand our consciousness ... Needless to say, avoid egotistic behaviour, that is too easy to do under this trend. Well, it is not about blinding and outshining others with our presence, but rather to illuminate personal specific talents to share for the good of all ... Make your choice ...

     Venus conjunct the Cat's Eye Nebula and trine the Moon's North Node. Venus shows her diplomacy visiting a nebula that represents complications. The Cat's Eye, as we have discussed recently in the Galactic Guide, is a nebula with a complex structure, which may involve entanglements. Venus is about solving these complications with a little kindness and diplomacy. Now, given the seductive nature of Venus, things can end up more tangled than they were, so in circumstances of love, passion, sex and seduction we have to be careful. This trend is better to harmoniously fix inconsistencies,  complications of communication in relationships. And it can be very pleasurable, too, if people are nice enough.

     The Juno retrograde is not the only event of its kind this weekend. Chiron also goes retrograde conjunct the spiral galaxy M65. This can have an effect on the health of many people, as Chiron is an indicator of disease or healing function by its mythology. On the other hand, M65 is a galaxy with few fertile areas and a lot of dust in its equatorial plane, which can symbolize metabolic problems caused by weary, lazy organs or glands. Symptoms will vary depending on the person, but it is important to know that in the coming months, the path of healing can go through the proper treatment and elimination of toxins, as this can regulate and revitalize metabolic functions. Other cases will require more effort, especially glandular problems, but the trend will last until March 11, 2014, when Chiron returns to the point where it is today. We have to implement these therapies during the next months so we can purify and revitalize. We must not let our metabolism deteriorate!

     Finally, Mercury is in parallel to Mars and contra parallel to star cluster M21. This prevents about impulsivity when talking, as it easily can become aggressiveness. The same goes for driving and everyday life in general. Accidents can happen out of carelessness. But this impulsive energy mix also has a different and special side: it represents a mind that wants things started. M21 is a very young star cluster: only 21 million years, indicating the beginning and a mind directed to the new, the future, not the past. So it's a good time to start and plan projects and their development. The B-type stars of M21 indicate a stimulus to the higher mind, so these begginnings might have to do with science projects, philosophical writings, spiritual or mystical experiences, great works of art or just a great inspiration. We must put to work the ideas that struggle for a little of our attention so they can be materialized.

May 20/21st: Several important astrological combinations occur simultaneously, including the square between Uranus and Pluto, Jupiter at 135° from Uranus and the Sun in transit to the Pleiades. Choose your trend to start the week...

May 20/21st: Sometimes, several important astrological events happen all at once, and this is what happens this week, particularly Monday and Tuesday, days that are likely to be exciting and unforgettable. Check here what is really going on in the astrological frequency so you can consciously decide what you wish to experience.

     To begin with, we have Jupiter at 135° from Saturn and the galaxy Centaurus A. This indicates the possibility of substantial improvements in difficult situations, and the trend will last all week. Saturn indicates by itself difficulties and bottlenecks, and Centaurus A is a galaxy that has a huge band of dust passing through its center, blocking its light. Centaurus A represents in particular communication difficulties to overcome. And that is precisely the role of Jupiter here, as its drive to improve and develop can shake things a bit and raise them above limitations. In order to do this, we must have a strategy and apply it carefully. This trend can be wasted if one expects things to get fixed by themselves.

     On the other hand, Venus is in parallel to Jupiter and in ecliptic conjunction with the Witch Head Nebula. This represents an opportunity to relax from recent stress caused by relationships, situations can improve with a positive, hands-free approach. The Witch Head Nebula passivity represents a neutral attitude which is focused inward. Hence, it is better to relate with serenity and let others do things their way. Venus and Jupiter are also in contra parallel to M80, a very compact star cluster, which represents controlling attitudes. The contra parallel means a balance between control, pressure and a neutral attitude. This balance can bring great peace and harmony in relationships and love life, but this requires a conscious control of one's personal ego. Will you be able to do so?

     But Venus is also square to Chiron, which implies the ability to integrate nicely into our lives some isolated elements that had been relegated to the background, perhaps even rejected. It's a good combination to heal through love and tolerance. In some cases, this may coincide with a passive attitude (the Witch Head) in situations that require action and attention. It is necessary then to prevent excessive passivity and act appropriately upon reflection.

        A very important event also happens today: Uranus is for the third time in a position of square to Pluto(90 °), and simultaneously makes an opposition to globular cluster M3. Between 2012 and 2015, Uranus and Pluto make a series of seven squares, matching small and large revolutions in personal life and society. The effect of the seven squares covers this whole period of four years, which have been and will likely be particularly intense. This specific square represents a process that will be in effect for several months, only today it is mathematically exact.

     This time, the angular distance of 90° between these two planets occurs with Uranus simultaneously in opposition to star cluster M3, which is very large and also very compressed, and contains many variable stars. This last is synonymous with personal insecurities induced by society, and schemes or institutions that no longer function properly. The challenge in the following months is therefore to seek innovation to find solutions that provide stability. But of course, this requires a great effort. Socially, this combination will manifest as a conflict between new trends and the natural resistance to change. The next square between these two planets happens on November 1st, 2013.

     As if this wasn't enough, the Sun enters Gemini and conjuncts the Pleiades (M45), a cluster with young stars that rotate at high speed. The Pleiades are a kind of accelerator on the mental plane, as many of its stars are of the mental-oriented type B. Hence, a kind of time distortion can be expected for those who connect with this trend. The mind may advance faster than the actual events, and, as a result, we may be a bit spaced-out from down-to-earth chores. Anyway, the Pleiades also bring a great capacity for introspection through mental reflection and may bring on a futuristic or prophetic approach. It is possible to  have great insights! And good results of psychoanalysis and research, too.

May 14/15: Venus, Saturn and galaxy M64 achieve cooperation among opposing trends, overcoming communication problems; Mercury, Ceres and the Hercules Cluster (M13) briefly enhance productivity

May 14/15: Venus is 150° from Saturn, and parallel to the Black Eye Galaxy (M64). This combination may represent communication problems that are overcome through diplomacy. Of course, Venus adds the willingness to dialogue, as she has to deal with the communication obstacles represented by Saturn. The solution seems to be suggested by   M64, known as the "Black Eye Galaxy" by its appearance. The fact is that M64 has a core that rotates in the opposite direction to the outer part of the galaxy. This is thought to be the effect of a collision with a neighboring galaxy and its subsequent absorption by the M64. That galaxy is thought to have had a lot of dark dust, which is now part of M64. The Black Eye Galaxy thus means impediments, represented by the thick cloud of dust that gives it its distinctive appearance, reinforcing the idea of difficulties indicated by Saturn. M64 suggests that it is advisable to integrate with other peope's realities even though they might be different from ours, even going "in the opposite direction" to our personal view (like M64's nucleus). At times, tolerance and patience accomplish more than insistence, and today it seems to be  one of those days. Cooperation is achieved with an effort of diplomacy ... while still being yourself.

     Saturn is parallel to the Saturn Nebula, still in a close conjunction with galaxy Centarus A. Do not confuse the nebula with the planet! The Saturn Nebula is a dying star that expels its outer layers into the surrounding space. In low-range telescopes, its appearance may resemble that of Saturn with its rings, but the images obtained by powerful telescopes show its moribund condition as a planetary nebula, its technical name. The fact is that the Saturn Nebula has, like any other planetary nebulae, has a very hot star inside, which symbolizes the higher mind. Many of the impediments indicated by Saturn, come from philosophical or ideological clashes, or from incompatibilities with other people. Most can be fixed or find an advancement with the transit of Venus, who is having a hard work on this day: Saturn is conjunct Centaurus A, a galaxy that can represent communication problems, that if taken care upon, can lead to significant breakthroughs. So... let's just apply Venusian diplomacy!

      Mercury  passes quickly at  45° from Ceres, and in opposition to the Hercules Cluster (M13). This indicates a brief but effective moment, for enhancing productivity. The semi-square (45 °) means an organized and well directed energy, while Ceres represents prosperity, and the Hercules Cluster is the richest in stars in the northern hemisphere of the celestial sphere. Hence, good opportunities to do business or to increase productivity will arise, in everyday issues as well as major projects. Do not let it pass just ike that! Energy needs to be directed in an organized way these two following days... Soon after, Mercury enters Gemini and conjuncts the Pleiades (M45), and therefore will be quite concentrated on mental or abstract, rather than material, objectives. This will start from May 15 on. So do not let pass the opportunity to produce before!

      The Sun in quintile with Chiron, quincunx Pandora and contra parallel to M23, indicates a good time to treat respiratory diseases, or ailments located in the throat area, particularly related to mental or emotional expression. The combination Sun / Chiron suggests changes in health, while M23, an old star cluster, symbolizes chronic diseases, whose origin dates back years in time. M23 is in the constellation Sagittarius and most of its stars are of type A, suggesting an expressive trend which can cause disease if it is not properly channeled. The combination of the Sun, Chiron and M23 suggests the possibility for progress in these areas discovering or investigating new aspects surrounding the disease, and it can also bring revelations and important insights on the case. By allowing expression,  both the causes and remedies of the disease may come to light. But the important thing is to be able to express...

     Finally, asteroid Demeter makes an ecliptic conjunction to the Guitar Nebula and a parallel to Venus, suggesting the theme of separation with love. Not all separations need to be drastic or to be motivated by rejection.  The Demeter archetype represents the essential maternal energy and the Guitar Nebula is an asymmetric supernova explosion, in which the pulsar is separated from the original explosion cloud . Hence the idea of separation, but also speed: it is possible to quickly resolve issues related to distant people, pending payments, investments and other matters of daily life. If there are necessary separations, they may be done in a smooth, harmonious way, gently releasing attachments. But the ideal way for this trend to manifest is to produce reconciliations or meetings between people who had been apart either physically or mentally.

May 2/3: Pallas, Uranus and M5 correct past behavior to have a better future, while Mercury, Jupiter and star cluster M79 take us beyond our boundaries... But there are many other astrological trends, get to know them so you can choose the ones to connect with!

May 2/3: The astrological trends in the second half of the week are numerous and touch various topics. Get to know them to decide to which one you wish to connect your experience or to explain yourself what you have been experiencing:

     Pallas is contra paralel to Uranus, conjunct the South Node Moon and opposed to globular cluster M5. Pallas is an asteroid whose transit is of great help in most cases, as it symbolizes the ability to put some order or to correct chaotic or problematic  situations. In this case, Pallas' conjunction with the Lunar South Node reveals that the issues fixed come from the past, and Uranus represents an alteration of the circumstances leading to failures or problems. The cause behind many of them may be insecurity as Pallas is opposed to M5, a globular cluster with many variable stars, whose abundance suggests weaknesses and inconsistencies. So, to continue moving forward in our lives, we need to alter and correct past patterns of insecurity. The effort invested in this will bring good consequences because it will avoid repeating inappropriate formulas in the new projects we are undertaking.

      Mercury makes a conjunction to galaxy M33, and is at 45° from Jupiter. This represents an opportunity to generate great ideas and to integrate them in different contexts, and also to approach reality in a different way. M33, as we have mentioned in the past in the Galactic Guide, has an immense stellar generation region, which implies a very large creative potential. The passage of Mercury by M33 can only be a great creative stimulus for the mind, that will be able to produce great plans and insights.

     However, the best thing would be to direct that mental creativity towards goals that  lie farther than those that normally keep us busy. Mercury is in semi-square (45 °) to Jupiter, the planet that by its enormous size and magnetic field represents to transcend borders. What's more, Jupiter is conjunct M79, a star cluster born in another galaxy and currently in the process of integrating to the system of the Milky Way. Therefore, it is a good time to apply our ideas in contexts outside our everyday reality, setting targets that allow us to go further than normal, as well as integrating ideas and helpful suggestions. We must be open to receive something different and new, sometimes from the least expected people or places! This combination is also excellent for travel, whether mental or physical, for studies and research, for exports and trade, to get new customers and to communicate with people far away or with whom contact has been lost.

    On 3/4 May, Mercury is in parallel to the galaxy M59 and contra parallel to Saturn. This combination suggests the need to consider and accept different points of view. However, unlike the previous trend, this astrological mix refers to prevent an abuse of power, which would consist in trying to impose one's ideas at all costs. M59 is a giant galaxy, making it very dominant in nature. But Saturn has responsibility for ensuring the necessary limits, to be considered and observed at all times this weekend. Containment, silence, discretion will be successful, but a domineering attitude will cause rejection. However, a strong, yet structured expression will be most convincing and inspiring: simultaneously, Mercury makes a sextile to idealistic Neptune ...

     The Sun is at 60° from Chiron, a combination that can be used to give some strength to weak aspects of our personality and our lives. Chiron, among other things, represents poorly socially integrated aspects of the psyche, and is in parallel to star cluster M12, symbolizing great independence. Chiron is happy in the territory of M12, since there is no strong control on his personality: M12 is a disperse cluster, which exerts very little gravitational influence on the stars that compose it. But then again, this implies that some of the talents of Chiron (and he has many) are underdeveloped by a lack of pressure and discipline.

     This is where the Sun, combined with the fantastic and productive spiral galaxy M100, provides help, prompting and encouraging creativity to advance and materialize projects. And this is because M100 has one of the most spectacular and beautiful designs of the known universe: it is hard not to be motivated in front of her breathtaking beautiful visual presence. This combination is also excellent to accelerate the healing of physical diseases or mental states that have not been responding adequately in recent days. Therefore, the application of therapies is favorable in general.

     Mars is in sextile (60°) to Ceres, and opposed to Omega Centauri. This trend highlights the need to assert oneself, even going against the general flow (symbolized by Omega Centauri, the largest cluster in our galaxy). For those who are connected with this frequency or become involved in it, it is important to keep your own direction regardless of what other people think. In fact, common sense and generality opposing your convictions is an indicator that you are following the right path. In this way, you may direct  energies into productive activities without rigid or obsolete restrictions that block their development. This trend is diametrically opposed to that of Mercury/M59, which was mentioned above and refers rather to express ideas with a dominant attitude. This means only to search for the necessary freedom to produce better. Politically, it has to do with the necessary restrictions to the production of transgenic corn, related to the Mars/Saturn opposition, but momentarily, Mars will press hard for that to be done.

April 25/26: The Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio in contra parallel to galaxy M91 shows a good semester to integrate isolated elements of our personality; Pallas, Venus and star cluster M10 reveal enriching exchanges in relationships

Abril25/26: Pallas is conjunct Venus, sextile Chiron, and parallel to star cluster M10. This combination is excellent to  engage in rewarding social activities. M10 is a cluster with a heterogeneous stellar population: photos show stars of different sizes and colors, which point to a great time to interact with several different people. Far from suffering from the differences, there might be fruitful exchanges going on, as Pallas means good solutions and plans, while Chiron provides good advice and knowledge. Venus cannot help but feeling grateful for this, so don't spend your time alone! This is not a good day for isolation plans...

     On the other hand, the event of the day (and probably of the month) is the Lunar Eclipse in contra parallel to galaxy M91 of the Virgo cluster. While the partial eclipse happens only on April 25/26, it actually sets a trend that will be developing gradually over the next six months. The eclipse's contact with M91 indicates that this time, the theme of the eclipse is the adequate integration of elements alienated from our consciousness, personality or society. Why this?

     Barred-spiral galaxy M91 is distant and difficult to observe, so it takes on a connotation of something that is far, non-integrated or which is not fully conscious (visible). Moreover, the movement of M91 is contrary to the overall motion of the Virgo cluster, its own social galactic environment. M91 indicates a trend that goes against the flow, against what is socially acceptable. This makes M91 symbolize very individualistic parts of personality, a resistance to go with the "common sense", and also marginalized people or groups in today's society. The Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio, the Zodiac sign of fusion, communion, merging (to the point of dependence), points to the need to balance and heal this relative isolation, which can be detrimental as non-integrated factors always cause discomfort or resistance. The emotions of the eclipse in Scorpio, particularly when it happens conjunct Saturn, can make surface resentment, a feeling of injustice and loneliness caused by this isolation. In the event that these emotions arise in the next months, we must work on them to release and then move forward ...

     We may expect in the next six months important insights (integrating unconscious or semi-conscious ideas and facts). Our task is to gradually give a proper place to trends, projects, desires, plans, intentions and people who normally are relegated to the background in our daily lives. We must dare to do whatever one feels as an authentic trend, even if it goes beyond the normal routine! Some people will surprise others as they make unexpected plans and show an unusual behavior. But that would be a positive indicator that they are allowing to express obscure but real facets of themselves, hidden talents and versatility in their personalities.

     It is therefore an ideal semester for seriously compromising ourselves with solving pending issues, especially if they date from long ago. And at a global level, humankind has the opportunity to take a step forward in its development. Society can reach out to support and integrate those who have been marginalized by opposing the status quo or who have been relegated as "minorities." A society matures and grows in the measure that it includes and accepts all of its members, not excluding some in favor of others. We are all on the same planet and there is room for everyone...

Mercury, Chiron and the Horsehead Nebula do some interesting research, Venus and the Guitar Nebula accelerate financial and artistic issues, while Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula calm things down and make us reflective

April 13/14:  Nebulae will play a leading role among astrological trends this weekend. To start with,  asteroid Juno is conjunct the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), squaring Saturn and Omega Centauri. The  Juno and M27 mix indicates the possibility of finding like-minded people at an intellectual level. Somehow, this means an ideological marriage, so we may expect interesting and profound conversations, as well as great attractions motivated by ideals, whether spiritual, scientific or artistic, causing a mutual admiration. This is because the Dumbbell Nebula has at its center a dying star of very high temperature, which relates to the higher mind: science, spirituality and the arts. Relationships may be particularly intense during the weekend, but they will be beyond emotional or sexual passion, they will be trascendent. Although they may have an erotic or emotional component, they are more like a friendship, as Juno is in the sign of Aquarius, emotionally distant and traditionally related to friends. It is therefore necessary to avoid triviality and emotional excesses to take advantage of this trend. But most friendly, professional or love relationships will undoubtedly be affected by this impulse that leads us to explore the ideological connections with those around.

     However, Juno is in ecliptic square (at 90°) to Saturn and the giant star cluster Omega Centauri, which represents a tensions caused by social conventions. While it is possible to chat and share in freedom, it is also possible to find strong disagreements about traditions, customs, conventions and expectations that are not met. Behind an atmosphere of freedom, many relationships may face attempts to control, whether conscious or unconscious, that may cause temporary discomfort or even break-ups or drastic and painful confrontations. This is more likely if there are previous tensions or if the limits and goals of the relationship have not been set clearly. In this sense, it may be helpful that Juno is in sextile (60°) to Uranus, which may give a positive turn to tense situations. Mutual goals may be renewed if there is the will to discuss things. But this also makes easier to break-up and to whithdraw from relationships where there is manipulation or power games. We need to drop these if we want to relate with freedom, spontaneity and mutual respect.

     Fortunately, Mercury, the planet of communication, negotiation and dialogue, is in the equinoctial point (0° Aries), in parallel with Chiron and the Horsehead Nebula. This indicates that therapeutic conversations can have good results. It is possible to address the most delicate issues and thus heal the dysfunctional corners of our relationships. But beyond therapy, this combination is excellent for research and study, as mercurial curiosity meets with Chiron's wisdom and the Horsehead Nebula tendency to highlight the occult. This famous nebula, located in the constellation of Orion, is actually a dark dust cloud located in front of a giant cloud of glowing ionized hydrogen, which serves as a bright and attractive backdrop which makes it a particularly attractive object visually. Therefore, it is an excellent day for intellectual, educational, academic activities, for reading a good book, or to find lost objects or hidden information. It is also good for health diagnoses, lab tests, to make repairs and buy tools, and of course to give and get good advice.

     On the 14th, Venus is contra parallel to Neptune, conjunct the Guitar Nebula, and at 45° from Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula. Venus conjunct the Guitar Nebula represents either ruptures or reconciliations, as this nebula is actually an asymmetric supernova explosion in which the neutron star is moving on one direction and the cloud of debris on the opposite. This symbolizes separation, but also a great acceleration because the neutron star is apparently the fastest in our galaxy. So Venus issues, mainly related to love, art and finance, will tend to be accelerated by this trend during the weekend. Great advances in those fields can be achieved with relatively little effort. In any case, you should avoid impulsiveness (especially when spending money or making investments) as well as the tendency to emotional outbursts. A neutral attitude, moderate and thoughtful, will make things easier. Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula indicate positive results of showing calmness, prudence and even indifference. The Witch Head is a reflection nebula, whose main characteristic is passivity and mental reflection, much needed in harsh or very energetic environments, which need objectivity, and a cool and reasoned approach.

April 4/5: A variety of astrological trends is in effect this week ... Choose the one that suits your needs!

April 4/5: At the beginning of the week, all astrological trends seemed to emphasize the same theme: the balance between individuality and commitment to others. In the second part of the week, a variety of trends pointing to different themes happen simultaneously... It is advisable to know them so we are able to choose which one to connect with... or which one to avoid.

     The week brings a dynamic and productive communication background. Mercury is contra parallel to Mars, at 45° from Pallas, and at 120° from the North Lunar Node. The most important combination is the  contact with Mars, indicating that it is a good time to put our minds to work and have lots of productive activity. Mercury is still parallel to the spectacular Wild Duck Cluster (M11), indicating abundance for its large number of stars. It is likely that those who connect with this trend will end up being caught up in a frantic pace. There will be too much to do and to communicate. The challenge is to direct adequately circumstances in order to produce enthusiastically, avoiding at all costs impatience, accidents by carelessness and emotional or verbal aggressiveness, whether it is our own or others'. Be careful when driving!

     Chiron is at 60° from Pluto and is perfecting an opposition to the Pencil Nebula. This is an interesting indicator of a trend that goes beyond the present week as it will last for most of April 2013. This trend relates to the treatment of diseases caused by the accumulation of toxins through cleansing therapies. Of course, Pluto represents the cleansing while the sextile "lubricates", facilitating removal of harmful elements from the body. The accumulation of toxins is indicated by the Pencil Nebula, a cloud of hydrogen that is being compressed by a strong Supernova wind. This causes compression of the cloud and the formation of new stars, which in this case represent deposits of toxins. In general, this month is excellent for healing through detox therapies, so we must provide our bodies the means to do so. Obviously, any serious illness should be treated by a specialist, symbolized by Chiron.

     Venus is at 150° from the North Lunar Node and contra parallel to star cluster M48. This mix indicates the need to balance with harmony and diplomacy stressed situations or hectic personalities. Poor Venus is in the sign of Aries and conjunct Mars (!), in a fast-paced environmen, so it will be necessaryt to relax a bit in order to function better. Flexibility is recommended, but also to negotiate and discuss when necessary, seeking empathy in a competitive environment, which is symbolized by the G-type stars of M48, which are self-assertive and self-centered. In short: this trend refers to control the ego (our own or that of others) and harmonize situations, setting limits with kindness, respect and gentleness. Otherwise, the atmosphere can get very competitive and full of sparks.

     Asteroid Ceres enters Cancer, the zodiac sign that many astrologers consider her main regency, which starts at the point of the June solstice. Ceres' transit conjunct the solstice point and the transneptunian Hades indicates issues such as aid to people in extreme poverty or to victims of disaster worldwide. This can happen at a large scale or at an individual level. Pallas sextiles Ceres/Hades, from the solid sign Taurus, showing support and funding for these activities. Get involved in one of them! While any time is good to offer help to those in need, this week will be crucial for altruistic activities. In times like this, a seemingly insignificant support can have a more positive effect than normal. However, this trend also represents animals in terrible situations, natural disasters, waste, pollution and destruction. But not all is that bad: in its most positive sense, this trend strongly favors domestic work and working with dirt, plants,  organic food and also to enjoy the wilderness.

     But perhaps the more productive and spectacular trend of this week is the Sun in contra parallel to asteroid Pallas and M11. As mentioned above, cluster M11 symbolizes abundance, but Pallas is also in ecliptic conjunction with the galaxy M33, which contains one of the largest regions of star formation in the known universe. The transit of the Sun activates further this trend that represents great creativity and the ability to produce more than normal, both in quantity and quality. Do not let it pass without taking advantage of it!

March 11/12: Asteroid Juno joins star cluster M75, empowering relationships, while Mercury and Venus in parallel to star cluster M11 enhance diplomacy and inspiration. The Sun, Chiron and cluster M39 get together favoring the application of therapies

March 11/12: Asteroid Juno is conjunct star cluster M75 and sextile to Mars. The asteroid of close relationships and couple issues makes an important contact with M75, a star cluster which is characterized by the strong compression among the stars that compose it. This gravitational pressure indicates that the theme of commitment in relationships will go through a very demanding stage. But do not increase with your attitudes the hard pressure already exerted by M75: there is no need to manipulate. It is advisable to let the level of commitment to manifest by itself, and this is true not only within marriage, but also in any relationship involving a commitment as a base.

     Mars adds emotional energy to the situation, in the last degree of tropical Pisces, so it's easy to resort to emotional outburst, turning into a small nightmare situations by excessive control or plaintiff attitudes ... The recommendation is not to intervene in such cases. It is better to channel this energy into a mutual enthusiasm and motivation, so we all can meet demands with a productive response. But only those who are aware of it, may profit from this trend without having to force things (now you are). Watch M75's power in full action!

     Mercury is in parallel to Venus and star cluster M11. This is certainly a fantastic combination, which facilitates harmonious communication, artistic inspiration, diplomacy, flirting, seduction and intimate dialogues. It's a great time to resume communication as  Mercury will be retrograde until March 17th. However, avoid excesses, as star cluster M11 is extremely abundant, with an enormous need for expression. Channel this energy in positive dialogues, creative and constructive interaction (indicated by Mercury semisquare Pallas, semisextile Uranus). This will avoid wasting it on gossip and superficiality. Sensuality will be floating in the air, but the effect will only last for a couple of days, so we must not take  nice words too seriously. Ideally, use this trend to create, to motivate and communicate with beauty and inspiration through artistic activity. Just let them flow!

     Mercury makes a conjunction to the Pelican Nebula for the second time this year, this time retrograde. The Pelican Nebula, which is in the constellation Cygnus, represents some discretion, since it is overshadowed by both the dark dust clouds that cross within and its bright neighbor North America Nebula. The ecliptic transit of Mercury on the Pelican involves communicating hidden information, inquire into the unconscious, or just be discreet and not say everything you know in any context. We must be selective when sharing information. Anyway, communicate! But do so in a controlled way to enjoy more harmony.

     Mars crosses the equinoctial point and enters its own sign: Aries. This happens once every 2 years or so and represents an energy boost in the general environment, a fact that must be remembered to avoid impulsive actions or protect from the impulsivity of others, where appropriate. But the really interesting combination on the 12th of March is the Sun in parallel to Chiron and conjunct star cluster M39. This is an indicator of a very good time to treat diseases related to lazy organs, neglect or a metabolism running below normal. M39 is a somewhat scattered cluster, whose stars of spectral type A and G suggest treating ailments of the throat or digestive system. Therapies applied to these areas, diagnosed and treated properly, can be very successful and bring back a much needed stability to the body and the mind ...

February 27/28: The Sun, Chiron and the North America Nebula emphasize healing and teaching, while Venus, Neptune, the Vela Supernova and galaxy M95 give an inspiring force to art, business and relationships

February 27/28: The Sun is in ecliptic conjunction to Chiron and the North America Nebula. The Sun/Chiron mix certainly suggests an emphasis on healing and teaching, the essential themes of Chiron. The North America Nebula means, among other things, highlighting situations. Therefore, this is a great day to appreciate the effects of therapies and diagnostics as the North America Nebula will highlight the factors that cause the disease, making them obvious and bringing clarity to cases ... This is important considering that Mercury is retrograde in Pisces, which can lead to ambiguities and uncertainties in  consultations and diagnoses. Learning and teaching are also extremely favored by this combination, so it is an excellent trend for academic and research activities, which will last until the weekend ... The  elements to be learned can be highlighted in the mind more than at other times, helping their assimilation. The subjects of investigation may also be obvious and easily recognizable... This couple of days may be the delight of an investigator or detective... or a professor using a new and attractive teaching material.

     However, from the psychological point of view, this combination will also highlight our emotional wounds, confronting us with our traumas, complexes, insecurities, etc., so we may find them right in front of our faces, standing clearly (the recent full moon in Virgo helps a bit). If it becomes inevitable to confront your neglected, unresolved areas, you definitely need to take this process seriously and dive deep into the healing experience. We must take over parts of our personality that were relegated in the background and need attention now. This can cause a prodigious regeneration, although initially this process might be intense. Chiron is also in parallel to star cluster M14, which has a large number of variable stars and therefore represents instability. We must be brave and dare to confront parts of our lives that cause us insecurity, as that is exactly where the solar/chiron healing energy is directed.

      But not everything is therapy and confrontation. Venus makes its annual ecliptic conjunction to Neptune, and both are opposed to the Vela Supernova. This combination suggests a special sublimation of emotions, which can occur in terms of relationships, affection, love, finances and especially in the arts. This contact may result in interesting, influential, motivating, as well as intense and disturbing interactions in friendship, love & affection, sex and  business. Neptune and the Vela Supernova incite us to see reality in a different way, which can be deeply inspiring. But, at least in the area of relationships, it is important not to idealize people and live in the moment without setting too many expectations. The Vela Supernova distorts the quality of time and therefore the perspective of present, past and future. Furthermore, the same combination provides  much depth in the approach to people, so it is possible to communicate at  superconscious levels that we normally do not access consciously. Do not be surprised if there is telepathy and you find amazing coincidences. By the same token, the best option is to channel this energy through art with a great inspiration that can make us touch other dimensions.

       Venus is also in parallel to spiral galaxy M95, whose star formation rate is very high. Therefore, this is an excellent time to develop creativity and productivity in both the art and business worlds. Obviously, we must take care that money or investments do not vanish by impulsive acts, unclear strategies or a lack of vision, all this indicated by Neptune... But so much energy combined (M95 and the Vela Supernova) also suggests a very strong productivity. Make good use of it in your individual area, but always with your feet on the ground ...

January 4/5: Chiron and galaxy M61 indicate metabolic changes, Saturn and Omega Centauri question our social structures... Mercury, Juno and star cluster M28 revive communication, Supernova 1987A and Mars bring an excess of energy

January 4/5: Mercury conjunct Juno and globular cluster M28. This astrological combination refers to any type of exchange and communication in relationships, as in many cases it will be possible to establish trust between people. In any case, it's a good day to talk intimately with people who inspire us most in terms of security and stability. It is possible that under this combination, some old relationships will resurface and communication can be restored. M28 contains a millisecond pulsar, a degenerate star that is reborn and accelerates its rotation through interaction with another nearby star.
 

Metabolic changes that can help to heal 

     Mercury is also at 60° from Chiron, which favors studies, classes, medical research, book sales, specialized equipment sales, and repairs of all kinds. Chiron, during the first week of January, makes a contraparalel to the galaxy M61, which in terms of health suggests drastic metabolic changes. Many processes of health, disease or healing will be related to a revolution in the body's metabolism: the application of therapies to facilitate this change and not block it is recommended, as they can lead to a stabilization. M61 is an active galaxy whose active galactic nucleus (AGN) is in the process of reorganization, as show its two central bars and a giant black hole that emits an enormous amount of energy. Chiron, one of the therapists in the solar system, can contribute to the stabilization of this excess energy if it is properly channeled. Do not try to suppress it, because this is exactly  what may be causing an imbalance, let it flow. This combination is excellent for detox therapies, so let's try them!


Mars and Supernova 1987A: energy excesses convertible into productivity

     Mars is trine (120°) Jupiter and conjunct supernova 1987A. This astrological mix must be handled with care, since the combination of an already hyperkinetic Mars with a supernova may involve an excess of energy, a burst out of control, and involves risk. The contact with Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, can only exaggerate the effects, so it is advisable, in this week, and until the start of the next, to avoid accidents by lack of caution or confrontations with people because of a domineering attitude. In any case, this explosion can be used in a positive way, for example, exploring, either in the mountains or in the mind, exercising, expanding our usual horizons. The strength of a supernova is never to be underestimated and can help us to perform tasks that we would not accomplish in normal conditions... In the worst of cases, before letting the contained tension to explode is better to go for a walk and breathe some air, even if it's polluted (but preferably pure, if available ...). Do not let supernova 1987A sweep you, use it to achieve your goals ...

     Jupiter, additionally, is conjunct the Hyades and makes a parallel to the Eskimo Nebula, whose intricate structure suggests, precisely, complications ... These may consist on the consequences of an impulsive outburst, but in a positive sense, even the most steady development of our projects, related to Jupiter, may include logistical complications and entanglements ... Mars is also at 135° from Ceres, who is still in close conjunction with the Orion Nebula (M42). This position of Ceres is extremely productive since M42 is one of the regions with more stellar creation in our galaxy. Hence the aggressive drive of Mars and the supernova 1987A has here an excellent  field to be channeled in a positive way in Ceres issues: children, education, food, household activities, work in the garden, in the countryside, with animals, recycling and in general, protecting and supporting those in need.


Venus and Saturn brings relaxation to Omega Centauri 

     Venus is conjunct star cluster M14, which represents distance in relationships and also economic instability, so it is not a very good day for investments, although it will work for an inventory or an accounting revision... M14 is a distant cluster whose dispersion simbolizes a lot of freedom. We may therefore assume that the issue of lack of commitment or too much freedom may arise during this couple of days in the social and emotional plane... and also in the managing of money and resources. On a more optimistic interpretation, Venus and M14 represent relationships with which we can relax and unwind, as opposed to very demanding environments. These can be represented by Saturn and the star cluster Omega Centauri, with whom Venus makes a semisquare (45°) relationship.

     The conjunction of Saturn and Omega Centauri, the largest star cluster in our galaxy, represents the power of the status quo and social institutions over individual rights. In 2013, Saturn and Omega Centauri will make an ecliptic conjunction three times, one in January, one in June and the last in October and November. At an international level, this means both a strong questioning of our social structure, of its methods and government,s as well as restrictive laws on the lives of individuals. Many laws will have to be modified to prevent abuses and injustices for minorities. At a personal level, the transit of Venus at 45° of this prominent pair indicates that we need to put a little kindness and diplomacy, so it can brighten environments where the sadness, discipline, restriction or exigence are the rule.. A flower, an empathic attitude, a good deed or sweet words can have a miraculous effect.

August 18/19: Mercury and M44 emphasize expressiveness, but also the exposition of profound and controversial information; Venus and Pallas help preserve harmony with diplomacy and good administration

     August 18/19: Mercury is conjunct star cluster M44, at 150° from Pluto and Chiron, at 120° from Uranus. The fastest planet in the solar system is conjunct the Beehive cluster (M44), indicating a time of great expressiveness and eloquence, suitable for communication, writing, artistic creativity, and dialogue in general. M44, as we have seen before, is a star cluster with a large number of stars of type A, which stimulate expressiveness. However, Mercury is also placed simultaneously at 150° from Pluto and Chiron, forming a triangle known in astrology as a Yod. This represents a tendency to investigate, to get information from the depths of the psyche, the closet, time, History, or the library. Psychologically, to express deep feelings or hidden and forgotten itself is in itself a great achievement, as well as discovering the real causes of a disease with a good diagnosis, or disclose facts that contribute to scientific knowledge or culture and society general. The insights can be quite intense, and therefore, it is necessary to calculate how much it is wise to reveal publicly, because information obtained in any research area can cause arguments, upset or just a good controversy...

     Anyway, it's a good day for psychoanalysis, research, studying, teaching, labs and medical diagnoses ...and also for public scandals. Fortunately, Venus is square to Pallas and this represents a touch of diplomacy among such communication frenzy.
