October 28/29: Pluto, Chiron, star cluster M70 and the North America Nebula activate the transformation of outdated formulas, opening the gates to personal and social regeneration

October 28/29: Pluto is conjunct globular cluster M70 and sextile to Chiron and the North America Nebula. This probably represents the main trend of the week and probably of the month. Although it peaks in exactness today (28/29 ), it has been taking shape for about two weeks, and will remain active for another two. The extended period of influence of this astrological combination is explained by the fact it is formed by two slow planets, and this is means a prolonged, more profound effect. The processes to which this trend is associated are as important, and are already being manifested at a personal and at a collective level.


Conflictive but regenerative atmosphere that highlights marginalized elements

       M70 is a globular cluster with a gravitational core collapse, which implies difficult relations between its stars, a disorganized or conflicting interaction. However, M70 has only two variable stars, giving it a connotation of stability and firmness. The combination of these qualities involves a lot of instability in the social sphere, especially with slow transit of Pluto, which is profoundly transforming the current benchmarks of society. The present organization is not functioning properly, the atmosphere tends to disagreement, yet there is firmness or persistence. Solutions may be difficult to achieve among rebellion and stubbornness...

     Fortunately, we have Chiron involved with Pluto, as it placed at 60° from it in the tropical zodiac. Chiron, which is usually given difficult and painful astrological connotations, is currently in ecliptic conjunction to the North America Nebula, a combination that strongly highlights and exhibits social and personal wounds. Chiron often feels rejected, isolated, and the brightness of the North America Nebula brings to light the marginalized elements of personality or society. With Pluto's strength, however, it is possible to heal through the integration of those marginalized elements, addressing their needs. Collectively, of course, due to lack of awareness, will continue to generate atrocities in different parts of the world, mass manipulation, disruptive protests, tragic deaths and major injuries to nature and human beings. Such is the destructive force of Pluto combined with Chiron. But everything has a positive side on it and this astrological combination also brings us the possibility of healing through regeneration, a necessary purge that eliminates harmful or obsolete elements that block development.


Leading changes consciously through healing, research, teaching

     Those who are weak and resistant to change are more likely to be swept away by the Plutonian flow, that works as a eliminator of old stuff. We must be strong and encourage changes consciously as we see them coming. However, at the individual level we can do much more through our own awareness of these processes. Individual consciousness is the solution (symbolized by Uranus in Aries at 90° from Pluto) , so it is important to know about things and not let ourselves be alienated in samsara or the static caused by the information overload of our time ... (TV , internet, etc. . ). The healing energy will mainly benefit those engaged in the medical profession or any kind of therapy, whether physical or psychological. Diagnostics can be profound, in order to see the real roots of problems and then see where the changes need to be implemented. Certain diseases, if left by themselves may actually worsen, so it's time to intervene appropriately. Depending on the case, success can be achieved in detox therapies, psychoanalysis , rebirth, cell regeneration, and those that involve a reorganization of the body's metabolism.

      The other areas in which this trend can have a positive influence are research and teaching. Pluto's depth mixed with Chiron's wisdom, the persistence and questioning of M70 and the exposure of the North America Nebula can result in great research and great classes. The revelations obtained can be ,  somewhat disturbing, however, but knowledge in itself is greatly favored. Psychologically, this is an excellent time to heal emotional wounds of all kinds. We should give attention to areas that have been neglected, postponed, abandoned or denied for too long. Now is the time to find a solution, to provide care for them, and to develop their potential. If we don't do this voluntarily, it is possible that we will be forced by circumstances to comply with the planets.


Individual contribution to a collective regeneration

     The lesson here is one of regeneration, of releasing obsolete items, ideas or procedures and opening the doors to a regeneration that includes paying attention to neglected values, talents and potential. The shift symbolized by the Pluto/Chiron combination, which at times can be painful, implies a conscious identification of the undeveloped parts of our personality, and giving them real time and space in our lives. At a social level , it is also paramount to acknowledge the real needs of individuals and the global population, symbolized by Chiron. The North America Nebula exhibits their needs so that they cannot be hidden or denied, and hence awareness, dissemination, exhibition and sharing of information are essential, even from our individual position. By raising awareness we will certainly know where it hurts , why it hurts, and how to cure it. Letting things take their course by themselves will probbaly deepen this civilization's wounds. Therefore, it is important to put our two cents on this and cooperate with the forces of regeneration and not with those destruction.

Octubre 28/29: Plutón, Quirón, el cúmulo estelar M70 y la Nebulosa Norteamérica activan la transformación de fórmulas caducas, abriendo las puertas a una regeneración social y personal

Octubre 28/29: Plutón se encuentra en conjunción al cúmulo globular M70 y en sextil a Quirón y a la Nebulosa Norteamérica, lo que probablemente representa la tendencia principal de la semana o quizás del mes. Esta tendencia culmina el día de hoy (28/29), pero su vigencia viene tomando forma desde hace aproximadamente dos semanas, y seguirá vigente otras dos. Lo extendido de su período se debe a que se forma entre dos planetas lentos, y esto se asocia con un efecto más profundo. Los procesos a los cuales esta tendencia está asociada son pues importantes, y se están manifestando a nivel personal y colectivo.


Ambiente conflictivo pero regenerador: resaltan los elementos marginados

       M70 es un cúmulo globular con el núcleo gravitatorio colapsado, lo que implica relaciones difíciles entre sus estrellas, una convivencia desorganizada o conflictiva. Sin embargo, sólo tiene dos estrellas variables, lo que le da una connotación de estabilidad y firmeza. La combinación de ambas cualidades implica mucha inestabilidad en el plano social, más aún con el tránsito lento de Plutón, que está transformando profundamente los puntos de referencia de la sociedad. La organización vigente no funciona adecuadamente, el ambiente es de inconformidad y a la vez hay firmeza, testarudez o persistencia. Las soluciones pueden ser difíciles de alcanzar.

     Afortunadamente, tenemos a Quirón involucrado a 60° de Plutón. Y es que Quirón, al cual se le asocian generalmente connotaciones difíciles y dolorosas, se encuentra situado en conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa Norteamérica, combinación que resalta fuertemente las heridas sociales y personales. Quirón suele sentirse rechazado, aislado, y el brillo de la Nebulosa Norteamérica saca a relucir los elementos aislados de la personalidad o de la sociedad. Con la fuerza de Plutón, es posible sanar integrando los elementos que han quedado marginados y atendiendo sus necesidades. En lo colectivo, por supuesto, debido a la falta de conciencia, se siguen generando atrocidades en diversas partes del planeta, la manipulación de masas, protestas, muertes trágicas y grandes heridas a la naturaleza y al ser humano. Tal es la fuerza destructiva de Plutón combinada con Quirón. Pero todo tiene un lado positivo, y esta combinación astrológica también trae la sanación a través de la regeneración, de una purga necesaria, que elimine los elementos nocivos o caducos que impiden el desarrollo.


Dirigir el cambio conscientemente: sanación, investigación, enseñanza

     Quienes sean débiles y se resistan al cambio tienen más posibilidades de ser arrastrados por el flujo plutoniano, que funciona como un elminador de lo antiguo: hay que ser fuertes y fomentar el cambio conscientemente cuando lo veamos venir. Sin embargo, en el plano individual se puede hacer mucho más a través de la conciencia de estos procesos. La conciencia individual es la solución (simbolizada por Urano en Aries a 90° de Plutón), por eso es importante conocerlos y no enajenarse en el samsara o estática provocada por el exceso de información de nuestra época... (TV, internet, etc.).  La energía sanadora beneficiará principalmente a quienes se dediquen a la profesión médica o administren algún tipo de terapia, física o psicológica. Los diagnósticos pueden ser profundos, permitirán ver las raíces reales de los problemas y así ver hacia dónde se dirigirá el cambio. Algunas enfermedades, si se dejan por sí solas pueden agravarse, por ello es el momento de intervenir adecuadamente. Dependiendo del caso, puede haber éxito en terapias de desintoxicación, psicoanálisis, renacimiento, regeneración celular, y que impliquen una reorganización del metabolismo.

      Las otras áreas en las cuales esta tendencia puede tener una influencia positiva son la investigación y la enseñanza. La profundidad de Plutón mezclada con la sabiduría quironiana, la persistencia y cuestionamiento de M70 y el brillo de la Nebulosa Norteamérica puedan dar lugar a excelentes investigaciones y una profundidad enriquecedora en el salón de clases. Las revelaciones obtenidas pueden ser, sin embargo, algo perturbadoras, pero el conocimiento en sí se ve enormemente favorecido. Psicológicamente, es un excelente momento para sanar heridas emocionales de todo tipo. Es preciso darle atención a áreas que han permanecido relegadas, pospuestas, descuidadas o negadas durante mucho tiempo. Ahora es el momento de darles una solución, de brindarles atención, y de desarrollar su potencial. Si no lo hacemos voluntariamente, es posible que nos veamos forzados por las circunstancias.


Contribución individual a una regeneración colectiva 

     El aprendizaje de esta etapa es pues uno de regeneración, de soltar los elementos caducos y abrir las puertas a una regeneración que incluya valores, talentos y potenciales relegados. El viraje simbolizado por la combinación Plutón/Quirón, que en momentos puede ser doloroso, implica el identificar conscientemente partes no desarrolladas de nuestra personalidad, y darles tiempo y espacio en nuestras vidas. En el plano social, es de suma importancia también el reconocer las verdaderas necesidades de los individuos y de la población, simbolizados por Quirón. La Nebulosa de Norteamérica expone sus necesidades de manera que no puedan permanecer ocultas, y de ahí que la conciencia, la difusión, la exposición, el compartir la información sean de vital importancia, aunque sea desde nuestra posición individual.  Creando conciencia podremos saber dónde nos duele, por qué nos duele, y cómo curarlo. Dejar que las cosas sigan su curso implicará heridas cada vez más profundas en la sociedad. Por ello es importante poner nuestro granito de arena y cooperar con las fuerzas de regeneración y no las de destrucción.

     Esta es la tendencia más importante de la semana y quizás del mes, pero hay otras tendencias, menos dramáticas, que también matizan la atmósfera esta semana. January 2/3: Mars and the Tarantula Nebula transmute aggression into productivity; Pluto and star cluster M70 help to fix collapsed situations

January 2/3: Mars is in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula and parallel to Pluto. This combination is extremely powerful, and must be channeled adequately. The Mars/Pluto mix usually matches dominant and aggressive behavior. Of course, being aware of this can help us channel this trend and transform it, making it work for a good or transcendent cause. This is about raising the manifestation of an intense and strong energy, using it as a leverage to achieve really important things! Leaving matters in the plane of the confrontation may have exaggerated and negative results. We must avoid unnecessary litigation, friction, dangerous provocations and even accidents by impulsivity. All this can be avoided, since the combination of Mars in ecliptic conjunction to Tarantula Nebula shows a great deal of productive activities for channeling such an energy, and this is because this nebula is huge, one of the largest known star-making regions. So, no shortage of activities into which we can channel the powerful Mars/Pluto parallel. There are no excuses for fighting when there are many other, better things to do ...

     This may include unresolved, pending issues aas well as new processes in gestation. It is as important to start fresh projects as cnsciously closing cycles that come to an end. The parallel Mars/Pluto is excellent for competitions, sports and training (without overdoing), and for deep cleansing at home or other places. But social and personal relationships may be affected with an impositive or dominant attitude. If we detect tensions between people around us, above all we must avoid power games, and put common goals as a priority. Common goals make an individual ego feel recognized, proud to be at the service of a collective mission. Remember, today and tomorrow, let's show kindness above everything else! For many, it will be a challenge, but it's worth to control oneself and be diplomatic.

     Interestingly, the Tarantula Nebula is not in our galaxy, but in a small satellite galaxy of the Milky Way called the Large Magellanic Cloud, near the south pole. This galaxy, like other objects with extreme declinations, near the North and South poles, have largely been ignored because traditional astrology emphasizes the closeness to the ecliptic, zodiac, or apparent path of the Sun trough the celestial sphere, which is near to the Equator, far from the poles. However, the projection of its position toward the ecliptic makes us aware that Mars will be activating the nebula for a few days. The Tarantula is synonymous with great fertility and productivity, but being in another galaxy, it can symbolize an effort to achieve or be indicative of positive resources that are available, but untapped, as if they were separate, outside our main focus of attention. We should not underestimate talents and resources other than the normal ones. Like the Large Magellanic Cloud, sometimes small projects hold great treasures (in this case, the huge region of ionized hydrogen is the Tarantula). Anyway, to take advantage of them, we must work hard, and then it nis convenient to start the year 2013 with a dynamic progress in our activities. This will certainly be reflected in abundance and prosperity in the coming days.

     It should also be noted that Pluto is conjunct star cluster M70, located in the constellation (not the zodiac sign) Sagittarius. As Pluto is a slow planet, it is a marker of processes that take one to two years to develop, and may coincide with both social and personal events which imply transformations. Therefore, it is wise to know about Plutonian activity, because during the year, sooner or later we will be affected by the processes related to it. In this case, we must know about M70, a star cluster whose core has collapsed, which represents a lack of control, a loss of values, social confrontations, anarchy. However, M70 is also an indicator of stability, as it has the least number of variable stars in globular clusters in our galaxy. Therefore it symbolizes collapse conditions that gradually stabilize.

     This implies that for a good part of 2013, our job is to rebuild disasters, to support the solution of social problems or to get over personal meltdowns. No matter if it's something little or something big, the important thing is to contribute to the recovery and stabilization of collapsed situations. Pluto represents major changes and transformations, and if given proper use, it may indicate a positive development, a regenerative impulse, for the good. Therefore it is important to give a hand (or ask for one) to rebuild, rebirth, reinvent, recover what was lost in another form in the past, like a phoenix. At an international level, some situations will be enhanced and others will accentuate their collapse, but be sure most of them will not remain as they are. This trend will be in effect the whole month of January, until February 2. Subsequently, this conjunction will happen again in June, and then  during the months of October and November. But actually it constitutes the prevailing atmosphere during much of the year, a good background image for our individual, personal dramas.

      Definitely, the year 2013 has a very regenerative pull; let it flow and have clear objectives where to go after rebirth.This time, we must take those New Year's resolutions seriously...

Enero 2/3: Marte y la Nebulosa Tarántula transmutan la agresividad en productividad; Plutón y el cúmulo estelar M70 reparan situaciones colapsadas

Enero 2/3: Marte está en conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa de la Tarántula y en paralelo a Plutón. Esta combinación es sumamente poderosa, y debe ser canalizada adecuadamente. La mezcla Marte/Plutón suele ser dominante, y coincide con un comportamiento agresivo. Por supuesto, el estar conscientes de ello nos puede ayudar a canalizar esta tendencia y transformarla, poniéndola al uso de una causa justa o trascendente. ¡Se trata de elevar la manifestación de una energía intensa y fuerte, usándola como impulso para cosas verdaderamente importantes! Dejar todo en el plano de la confrontación puede tener resultados exagerados y negativos. Evitemos los pleitos innecesarios, fricciones peligrosas, provocaciones y hasta accidentes por impulsividad. Todo esto se puede evitar, ya que la combinación de Marte en conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa de la Tarántula indica un gran campo de acción para canalizar la energía, ya que esta nebulosa es enorme, una de las más grandes regiones de creación estelar conocidas. O sea, no faltarán  actividades hacia las cuales canalizar el potente paralelo Marte/Plutón. No hay pretextos para pelear cuando hay muchas cosas mejores por hacer...

     Éstas pueden consistir en pendientes no resueltos, así como en nuevos procesos gestándose: es  importante tanto el iniciar proyectos frescos como el cerrar conscientemente ciclos que llegan a su fin. El paralelo Marte/Plutón es excelente para las competencias, los deportes y el entrenamiento (sin excederse demasiado), así como para hacer una limpieza profunda en casa u otros espacios. Pero las relaciones sociales y personales sí se pueden ver afectadas con una actitud impositiva o dominante. Si notamos tensiones entre la gente que nos rodea, es preciso evitar los juegos de poder, y poner objetivos comunes como prioridad. Las metas comunes hacen que el ego personal se sienta reconocido, al estar al servicio de una misión colectiva. Recuerden, entre hoy y mañana, ¡la amabilidad ante todo! Para muchos, será todo un reto, pero vale la pena contenerse y ser diplomáticos.

     Es interesante notar que la Nebulosa de la Tarántula no se encuentra en nuestra galaxia, sino en una pequeña galaxia satélite de la Vía Láctea, que se llama la Gran Nube de Magallanes, muy cerca del polo sur. Esta galaxia, al igual que otros objetos con declinaciones extremas, cercanas a los polos, no han sido tomados en cuenta debido a que la astrología tradicional pone el énfasis en la cercanía a la eclíptica, zodiaco, o camino aparente del Sol en la esfera celeste. Sin embargo, la proyección de su posición hacia la eclíptica nos permite ver que Marte activa esta nebulosa por unos cuantos días. La Tarántula es sinónimo de una gran fertilidad y productividad, pero al estar en otra galaxia, puede simbolizar un esfuerzo para lograrla o ser un indicador de que hay disponibles recursos positivos, pero no explotados, como si estuvieran aparte, fuera de nuestro foco principal de atención. No hay que menospreciar talentos ni recursos diferentes a los normales. Al igual que la Gran nube de Magallanes, los proyectos pequeños a veces guardan grandes tesoros (en este caso, la enorme región de hidrógeno ionizado que es la Tarántula). Como sea, para sacarles provecho, hay que trabajarlos arduamente, y conviene empezar el 2013 con un avance dinámico en nuestras actividades, esto se verá reflejado con abundancia y prosperidad en los días que vienen.

     Es de notarse también que Plutón está en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M70, situado en la constelación (no el signo zodiacal) de Sagitario. Como Plutón es un planeta lento, es un marcador de procesos que llevan uno o dos años en manifestarse, y pueden coincidir tanto con eventos sociales como con transformaciones a nivel personal. Por lo tanto, conviene saber cuál es el tema que implica, pues durante el año, tarde o temprano nos veremos afectados por los procesos que se le relacionan. En este caso, hay que conocer a M70: es un cúmulo estelar cuyo núcleo ha sido colapsado, lo cual representa descontrol, pérdida de valores, confrontaciones en el plano social, anarquía. Sin embargo, M70 también es un indicador de estabilidad, ya que tiene el menor número de estrellas variables de los cúmulos globulares de nuestra galaxia. Por ello, simboliza condiciones de colapso que poco a poco pueden irse estabilizando.

     Esto implica que durante una buena parte del 2013, el trabajo consiste en reconstruir y brindar apoyo a la solución de los problemas sociales o colapsos personales que lleguen a nuestra esfera de acción. No importa si es algo mínimo o algo grande, lo importante es aportar a la recuperación y a la estabilización de situaciones colapsadas. Plutón representa grandes cambios y transformaciones, y si se le da el uso adecuado, puede indicar un desarrollo positivo, un impulso regenerador, para bien. Por ello es importante dar una mano (o pedirla) para reconstruir, renacer, reinventarse, recuperar bajo otra forma lo perdido en el pasado, como un Ave Fénix. En el plano internacional, habrá situaciones que mejoren y otras que acentúen su colapso, pero no quedarán como están. Esta tendencia será vigente durante todo el mes de Enero y hasta el 2 de Febrero. Posteriormente, esta conjunción se dará de nuevo en Junio, y luego los meses de Octubre y Noviembre. Pero en realidad constituirá la atmósfera vigente durante gran parte del año, un buen telón de fondo para nuestros dramas individuales.

      Definitivamente, el 2013 tiene una tendencia muy regeneradora, así que hay que dejarla fluir y tener objetivos claros hacia los cuales dirigir el renacimiento. Los propósitos de año nuevo, en esta ocasión, hay que tomarlos en serio...

June 12th: Chiron is stationary in opposition to the supernova Vela Junior, bringing great healing and revealing insights; Mercury in opposition to star cluster M70 liberate us from manipulation

June 12th: Chiron starts its retrograde period in opposition to Vela Junior, a supernova explosion in the constellation Vela. Do not confuse it with the Supernova Vela remnant, which is bigger and older. We've been mentioning Vela SR in the Galactic Guide because, recently, on June 4th, Neptune made its station in opposition to it. Vela Junior is another supernova explosion, much younger (800 years) and discovered  in 1998. Vela Junior is superimposed on the cloud of the Vela supernova... it is a relatively young supernova, and is one of the strongest sources of gamma rays in the sky, the higher electromagnetic frequency... This indicates that Chiron's retrograde station can lead to great insights, enhancing the therapeutic process it represents, taking it to its highest manifestation...    

     This may be expressed primarily in the area of health: there may be excellent diagnoses and a deep understanding of many ailments. It is an excellent time to do lab tests, medical tests and studies, as through them we can get to the root of the problems from the physical point of view. But it is equally important to unravel the psychological structure of the physical or mental illness. Chiron in Pisces, with its psychological sensitivity together with Vela Junior, stimulate transcendent perception, which will certainly lead to great discoveries in one's own psyche.    

      During the following days, probably as much as two weeks, the causes of our behavior and personality may come to light if we investigate in our personal history and family background... Therefore it is an appropriate time for psychoanalysis, for all kinds of psychological therapies, for dream analysis, meditation and introspection. Chiron will confront us with everything in our mind, emotions and physical body that is not in harmony with the universe, with our higher self, our higher destiny and our deepest talent. Chiron will compel us to heal and balance this in order to be restore a harmonious union with the universal flow. What we do need to change for our potential to flow?    

      The same can be applied to studies and academic activities, which are in themselves the other side of Chiron (healing/teaching are its main attributes). The intuitive, superconscious qualities of Vela Junior will give a push and and unusual depth to investigations and to the understanding of the subjects to study. However, going so deep can also expose difficult situations, that can be embarrassing by their complication. It can also expose emotional wounds that require major changes to find a solution, beyond the mere study or academic interest.    

     Everyone will find something different on his/her path, but this is a very good opportunity to detect and heal areas that prevent a harmonious union with our higher destiny, with our highest potential. Perhaps we will work on it during the next six months, but around these days certainly we will glimpse the new direction to follow.  

     Internationally, Chiron represents the parts of society who do not feel accepted or integrated, and the opposition to Vela Junior implies that, in the coming weeks, these sectors of society will have to draw attention to themselves, manifesting the real weight they have in society. Events may happen that will let in evidence the underrated population and their needs. But this would happen in order to integrate them, to provide resources and attention to areas that require care, nurturing, protection and no more injuries, neglect and harassment. It is a process in which everyone can participate by putting some little energy into a noble and altruistic cause. There's plenty! Do at least one or a few!  

     On the other hand, Mercury is now in opposition to star cluster M70, at 120° from Chiron and at 135° from Juno. This astrological combination between star cluster, asteroids and planet represents adjustments of power in relationships,. This includes love relationships, which today can go through a stressful time in general. In many cases, we will have to rethink the purpose of the relationship and the duties and privileges of each party. M70 is a cluster with a gravitational core collapse, which represents a difficult coexistence: there might be power games in relationships and therefore problems to reach agreements... The trend is about not letting oneself being controlled by others, but it also makes cooperation difficult. It is advisable to postpone important agreements and discussions for another, more harmonious, day. But it is also a good time to be internally free from people, situations or behaviors involving manipulation and not cooperation.

No hay que confundir a Vela Junior con la Supernova de Vela, más grande y más antigua, que hemos estado mencionando en la Galactic Guide debido a que el 4 de Junio Neptuno hizo su estación encima de ella. Vela Junior se trata de otra explosión de Supernova, mucho más joven (800 años) y descubierta en 1998. Vela Junior está sobrepuesta a la nube de la supernova de Vela... se trata de una supernova relativamente joven, y es una de las fuentes de emisión más fuertes de rayos gamma en el cielo, la frecuencia electromagnética más elevada... Esto indica que la estación de Quirón puede dar lugar a muy grandes tomas de conciencia, elevando el proceso terapéutico que implica a su máxima expresión...

    Esto puede manifestarse principalmente en el área de la salud: puede haber excelentes diagnósticos y una comprensión profunda de los padecimientos. Es un excelente momento para hacer análisis clínicos,  pruebas y estudios médicos, pudiendo llegar a la raíz de los problemas desde su punto de vista físico. Pero es igualmente importante desentrañar la estructura psicológica de la enfermedad física o mental. Quirón en Piscis, con su sensibilidad psicológica y aunado a Vela Junior, que estimula la percepción trascendente, dará lugar a grandes descubrimientos en la propia psique.

      Durante los días que siguen, probablemente en las próximas dos semanas, pueden salir a la luz las causas de nuestro comportamiento y personalidad, si investigamos en nuestra historia personal y familiar... Por lo tanto también es un momento adecuado para el psicoanálisis, para todo tipo de terapias psicológicas, para el análisis de sueños, la meditación y la introspección. Quirón nos confrontará con todo lo que en nuestra mente, emociones y cuerpo físico no esté en armonía con el universo, con nuestro Yo Superior, con nuestro destino más elevado y nuestro talento más profundo, y nos impulsará a sanarlo y a equilibrarlo para que se reestablezca una conexión armónica con el flujo universal. ¿Qué tenemos qué modificar para que fluya nuestro potencial?

     Lo mismo puede decirse en cuanto a los estudios y actividades académicas, que son en sí la otra faceta de Quirón. Las cualidades intuitivas y supraconscientes de Vela Junior le darán un empuje y una profundidad inusitados a las investigaciones y a la comprensión de las materias a estudiar. Sin embargo, el ir tan profundo también puede exponer situaciones difíciles de resolver, embarazosas por su complicación o heridas emocionales que requieren grandes cambios para su solución, más allá del estudio o el mero interés académico.

     Cada quien se encontrará con algo diferente, pero se trata de una muy buena oportunidad para detectar y sanar áreas que impiden una conexión armónica con nuestro destino superior, con nuestro potencial más elevado. Es posible que pasemos los próximos seis meses trabajando en ello, pero alrededor de estos días se vislumbrará sin duda la nueva dirección a seguir.

    En el plano internacional, Quirón representa las partes de la sociedad que no se sienten aceptadas o integradas, y la oposición a Vela Junior implica que en estas semanas que vienen, estos sectores de la sociedad tendrán a llamar la atención manifestando el peso real que tienen en la sociedad. Puede haber eventos que dejen en evidencia a la población desprotegida, pero se trata de integrar y de darle recursos y atención a áreas que requieren cuidado, sustento, protección y no más heridas, negligencia y acoso. Es un proceso en el cual todos podemos participar poniendo un poco de energía en alguna causa noble y altruista.
 
     Por otro lado, hoy Mercurio se encuentra en oposición al cúmulo estelar M70, a 120° de Quirón y a 135° de Juno. Esta combinación astrológica entre cúmulo estelar, asteroides y planeta representa ajustes de poder en las relaciones, incluyendo las relaciones de pareja, que hoy pueden en general pasar por un momento de tensión. En muchos casos, se tendrá que replantear el objetivo de la relación, así como los deberes y privilegios de cada quien. M70 es un cúmulo estelar con el núcleo gravitacional colapsado, lo que representa una convivencia difícil: por un lado hay juegos de poder y por el otro una dificultad para ponerse de acuerdo... La tendencia es a no dejarse controlar por los demás, pero eso también dificulta la cooperación. Es recomendable posponer acuerdos y discusiones importantes para otro momento más armónico... Pero también es un momento bueno para liberarse internamente de personas, situaciones o conductas que implican manipulación y no cooperación.

May 21st: the most active planet today is certainly Mercury, which makes contacts with several different types of planets. This is a day with plenty to do, with a variety of frequencies to connect with. Choose the one that suits you best according to your plans:

     Mercury starts the day at 30° from Venus, which is now retrograde and conjunct the star cluster M38. The combination promises to be pretty good financially, as both Venus and M38 symbolize abundance and the ability to attract money. Mercury's negotiation talent to negotiate helps a lot, or at least, it wil make  transactions more expedite. In the social and emotional plane, we may have great conversations and exchanges that will leave us with the same sense of abundance and plenitude.

     Mercury is also at 150° from Saturn. This usually puts the focus on commitments, work and duty, on making necessary adjustments to overcome obstacles in everyday life. This combination is normally a bit depressing if you only see the limits and difficulties of a situation. However, before making the aspect to Saturn, it is noteworthy that Mercury moves about two degrees north declination (yes he is faaast!), and  forms two parallels. The first is with globular cluster M53, which represents unstable situations and the other is with the elliptical galaxy M85, which denotes a new momentum and positive exchanges. Hence the need to compromise, meet and strive to use this stimulation that can help stabilize or energize loose situations.

      But the most important combination that makes Mercury today is the parallel with Jupiter, with whom it also makes a conjunction hours later. Unlike the above saturnian mix, it denotes mental freedom, optimism and the ability to develop ideas, travel, expand horizons and find positive solutions. The parallel Mercury / Jupiter occurs in parallel with M85, a galaxy which is characterized by interaction with neighboring galaxies. This indicates that the expansion and growth can occur through the exchange or the motivation of one or more persons. We must follow this trend, which lifts the limitations and helps to have a positive and revitaliziing attitude. Do not get trapped behind by the bars of saturnian depression!

     Mercury finally makes a sesquisquare or 135° aspect to Pluto, which is conjunct the globular cluster M70 and in parallel to M25, an open cluster. Pluto made its station in contact with both clusters over a month ago, indicating that Mercury only briefly stimulates the areas indicated by this combination, which will take long weeks to dissipate. M70 indicates crisis, a revolutionized order, chaos, while M25, which is an old cluster, represents old structures. Both individually and at an international level, the old structures are collapsing ...The world is having a lot of unrest, either by resisting or trying to force changes. Today it is recommended, under the transit of Mercury, to put some of our attention, even only a little time to change what is not working or what is stuck in our personal environment or inside us. In the world, we must stand up for positive change with our grain of sand.

     The Sun is at 60° from Pallas, who slowly leaves an inspiring parallel with the Rosette Nebula just to form another with the nebula M43. This represents a great motivation, especially intellectual as it is on the screen of our mind that great visions, ideas, strategies and solutions will be projected. Of course, this can leave things in the mind, but the parallel of Pallas with M43, a cloud of ionized hydrogen, suggests that today it is a good day to plant the ideas we had today or in earlier days, those that we will be incubating during the next days or weeks. Do not let your inspiration get lost, you just have to take the next step to materialize it, you will not regret doing that!

     Finally, on this day full of various astrological trends, Chiron is at 60° from Vesta. This combination is interesting because Vesta is opposed to Omega Centauri, the largest globular cluster in our galaxy. This opposition suggests the need to withdraw from social engagements in order to concentrate on oneself. Serve your own needs and those of your ongoing projects. The trend is about keeping our individual point of view regardless what most people, society, family, friends, the couple may think ... The mix of Chiron with Vesta is great for research, home repairs, working with animals, individual psychotherapy, healing and surgery, and also to concentrate in order to study what we need to learn.

     As you can see, there are many different trends and you can choose one or more to flow smoothly in your everyday life. And, at the end of the day, the Galactic Guide advises just one thing: get some rest if you can! Good luck!

Mayo 21: Mercurio hiperactivo, en contacto con varios planetas y cuerpos celestes nos muestra una jornada de intensas y muy diversas tendencias astrológicas; escojan la más conveniente para desarrollar sus actividades...

Mayo 21: el planeta más activo de esta jornada es sin duda Mercurio, que hace contactos de diversos tipos con varios planetas. Esto representa un día con muchas cosas que hacer y en el cual predomina la variedad de frecuencias a las cuales podemos sumarnos. Escojan la que más les convenga según sus planes:

     Mercurio inicia la jornada a 30° de Venus, que está en conjunción retrógrada al cúmulo estelar M38. la combinación promete ser bastante buena a nivel financiero, ya que tanto Venus como M38 simbolizan abundancia y capacidad de atraer el dinero. A esto contribuye Mercurio con su talento para negociar, o al menos, para agilizar las transacciones. En el plano social y afectivo, puede haber grandes conversaciones e intercambios que nos dejen con la misma sensación de abundancia y plenitud.

     Mercurio también se encuentra a 150° de Saturno. Esto normalmente pone la atención en los compromisos, el trabajo y el deber, haciendo ajustes necesarios para superar impedimentos en la vida cotidiana. Esta combinación suele ser un tanto depresiva si uno solamente ve los límites y dificultades de una situación. Sin embargo, antes de hacer el aspecto con Saturno, es de notarse que Mercurio se desplaza casi dos grados en declinación hacia el norte, y antes de perfeccionar el aspecto de 150° hace dos paralelos. El primero es con el cúmulo globular M53, que representa situaciones inestables y otro con la galaxia elíptica M85, que denota un impulso nuevo y la posibilidad de hacer intercambios positivos. De ahí la necesidad de comprometerse, cumplir y esforzarse, para aprovechar este impulso que puede ayudar a estabilizar o energetizar situaciones flojas.

      Pero la combinación más importante que hace Mercurio el día de hoy es el paralelo con Júpiter, con quien hace también una conjunción horas después. A diferencia de la mezcla anterior, ésta denota libertad mental, optimismo y la posibilidad de desarrollar ideas, viajar, expandir horizontes y encontrar soluciones positivas. El paralelo Mercurio/Júpiter sucede en paralelo con M85, una galaxia que se caracteriza por interactuar con sus galaxias vecinas. Esto indica que dicha expansión y crecimiento se pueden dar a través del intercambio o de la motivación de una o varias personas. Hay que seguir este impulso que exhorta a salir de las limitaciones y tener un enfoque positivo y revitalizador. ¡No se dejen encerrar por las rejas de la depresión saturnina!

     Mercurio finalmente hace una sesquicuadratura o relación de 135° a Plutón, que está en conjunción al cúmulo globular M70 y en paralelo a M25, un cúmulo abierto. Plutón hizo su estación en contacto con ambos cúmulos hace más de un mes, lo que indica que Mercurio sólo estimula brevemente las áreas indicadas por dicha combinación. M70 indica crisis, un orden revolucionado, caótico, mientras que M25, que es un cúmulo viejo, representa por lo mismo estructuras antiguas. Tanto a nivel individual como en el plano internacional, las estructuras antiguas están colapsando...Está habiendo mucho malestar en el mundo debido a ello, ya sea por resistir al cambio o tratando de forzarlo. El día de hoy es recomendable, en virtud del tránsito de Mercurio, poner parte de nuestra atención, aunque sea sólo un poco de tiempo, para cambiar lo que no está funcionando o lo que está estancado en lo personal. Y en el mundo, hay que participar para un cambio positivo, con nuestro grano de arena.

     El Sol está a 60° de Palas, quien sale de un paralelo inspirador con la nebulosa Roseta para entrar a otro con la nebulosa M43. Esto representa una gran motivación, principalmente intelectual, ya que es en la pantalla de la mente donde se proyectarán grandes visiones, excelentes ideas, estrategias y soluciones. Por supuesto, esto puede no pasar de un viaje mental, pero el paralelo de Palas con M43, una nube de hidrógeno ionizado, sugiere que hoy es buen día para ir sembrando las ideas de hoy o de días anteriores, y que incubaremos en los próximos días o semanas. La inspiración no se pierde, solamente hay que dar el siguiente paso para materializarla, ¡no se arrepentirán!

     Finalmente, en este día repleto de diversas tendencias astrológicas, Quirón está a 60° de Vesta.  Esta combinación es interesante pues Vesta está opuesta a Omega Centauri, el cúmulo globular más grande de toda nuestra galaxia. Esta oposición sugiere la necesidad de apartarse un poco de los compromisos sociales y poner una distancia para concentrarse en uno mismo para atender las propias necesidades y las de los proyectos que mantengamos funcionando. Se trata de mantener nuestro punto de vista individual en relación a lo que piensa la mayoría de la gente, la sociedad, la familia, los amigos, la pareja... La mezcla de Quirón con Vesta es excelente para la investigación, las reparaciones domésticas, el trabajo con animales, la terapia individual, las curaciones e intervenciones quirúrgicas en general, así como para concentrarse y estudiar lo que necesitemos aprender.

April 10th: Pluto goes retrograde conjunct M70 making associations collapse, but strengthening the will; Venus compensates for social pressure with light interactions

April 10th: Venus conjuncts the South Lunar Node and opposes star cluster M80. For several weeks, Juno has been conjunct star cluster M80 and the North Lunar Node, which corresponds to the need to strengthen relations at all levels. M80 is one of the densest clusters in the galaxy, and therefore represents strength, commitment and solidarity. However, the interaction, if too close or tight, can also produce some tensions that can be overcome today. Venus is in opposition to M80 and asteroid Juno. Venus represents a more relaxed and light social approach, in love, work relationships, friendship, community or family. The idea is to compensate the pressure relating with lightness and releasing the stress and control generated by commitments or responsibility. On the other hand, Venus conjunct the South Lunar Node  represents the possibility of resuming relationships of the past, to talk and contact people with whom we have had prior contact. It means also giving value to the past and to rescue forgotten things, words, situations, people. In financial terms, it is an excellent day to pay debts, services and to invest in projects that had been stagnated. Pluto goes retrograde conjunct star cluster M70 and in parallel to star cluster M25. The slow planets of the solar system, from Jupiter outward, always spend six months a year in direct motion and six months in retrograde motion. The times when they change direction, known as stations, usually indicate general trends during the next semester. Even more so with a planet like Pluto, which has a meaning of transformation and regeneration. This time, Pluto's station happens in ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M70 in the constellation Sagittarius. M70 symbolizes the need to resist external pressures and to follow the personal path even though there are disagreements with others. Cluster M70 is a highly compressed cluster and has a collapsed core, so social interaction can generate significant frictions in the coming weeks and months. But Pluto is in parallel to M25, a cluster also in the constellation Sagittarius. M25 represents a strengthening of the will, which can balance the disagreements with others. In short, from April to September 2012, Pluto's station can coincide with significant disagreements and excessive social pressure. Many social entities, from partners, marriage and friends, to projects and plans, organizations, institutions and governments, will collapse or be subject to strong external pressure... This semester, there will certainly be substantial changes to much of what we are doing now in common with others ... Personally, the transformative process of Pluto has to do with breaking the umbilical cord that makes us dependent on unfavorable situations or people. And, at the same time, it is opening the way for materializing achievements and goals individually. So, instead of engaging in exhausting struggles and fierce competition, it is better to work independently to develop the things that you consider they are worth the effort. This process will take about six months, so the projects most favored by the retrograde station of Pluto are the mid-term ones.

Abril 10: Venus en conjunción al Nodo Sur Lunar y en oposición al cúmulo estelar M80. Durante algunas semanas, Juno ha estado en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M80 y al Nodo Norte Lunar, lo que corresponde con al necesidad de afianzar relaciones a todos los niveles. M80 es de los cúmulos más densos de la galaxia, y por lo mismo representa solidez, compromiso, solidaridad.  Sin embargo, esto puede también producir ciertas tensiones que hoy pueden superarse, ya que Venus está opuesta a M80 y Juno. Venus representa un enfoque más relajado y ligero en lo social, en el amor, en las relaciones de trabajo, amistad o familiares. La idea es compensar la presión relacionándose con un poco de ligereza y soltar el control generado por el compromiso o la responsabilidad. Por otro lado, Venus en conjunción al Nodo Sur de la Luna representa la posibilidad de retomar relaciones del pasado, de hablar y contactar personas con las cuales hemos tenido un contacto anteriormente. En lo financiero, es un excelente día para pagar o amortizar deudas, servicios y retomar proyectos que se habían dejado de lado. Plutón se pone retrógrado en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M70 y en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M25. Los planetas lentos del sistema solar, de Júpiter hacia el exterior, pasan seis meses al año en movimiento directo y seis meses en movimiento retrógrado. Los momentos en los que cambian de dirección, conocidos como estaciones, suelen indicar las tendencias generales durante el semestre siguiente. Más aún en un planeta como Plutón, que tiene un significado de transformación y regeneración. En esta ocasión, la estación sucede en conjunción eclíptica al cúmulo estelar M70 en la constelación de Sagitario. M70 simboliza la necesidad de resistir las presiones externas y continuar el camino personal a pesar de que haya desacuerdos con otros. M70 es un cúmulo muy comprimido y con el núcleo colapsado, así que la convivencia puede generar roces y fricciones significativas en las próximas semanas y meses. Pero Plutón está en paralelo a M25, un cúmulo también en la constelación de Sagitario y que representa un fortalecimiento de la voluntad, lo que puede compensar las dificultades de entendimiento con los demás. En resumen: de Abril a Septiembre 2012, la retrogradación de Plutón puede coincidir con desacuerdos significativos y un exceso de presiones sociales. Muchos núcleos sociales, desde parejas y amistades, pasando por proyectos y planes, hasta organizaciones, instituciones y gobiernos, van a colapsar o estarán sujetos a fuertes influencias del exterior... Este semestre, sin duda habrá modificaciones sustanciales a mucho de lo que estamos haciendo con los demás...En lo personal, el proceso transformativo de Plutón tiene que ver con romper el cordón umbilical que nos hace depender de situaciones o personas no favorables, a la vez que abre el camino para materializar logros y metas individuales. De modo que, en vez de involucrarse en luchas desgastantes y competencias feroces, es mejor trabajar de manera independiente para desarrollar las cosas que uno cree que valen la pena. El proceso dura seis meses, por lo que los proyectos más favorecidos por la estación retrógrada de Plutón son los de mediano plazo.
