July 8th: Mars and galaxy M89 combine their energies in a dynamo of enormous proportions, which can be channeled through social participation, sport, art, spirituality ... and great insights

July 8th: Mars conjunct galaxy M89 and at 150° from Neptune. This is certainly a strong combination, because Mars represents, above all, energy. And M89 is a giant galaxy with a voracious appetite, having eaten other smaller galaxies, whose remains form a halo around it. When both celestial bodies combine, they suggest a great power that must be handled carefully to avoid invading the space of others. Today and tomorrow, it is likely that we'll have many temptations to impose our point of view, but it is better to avoid this and try to apply our energies in the right environment. After all, both Mars and M89 are in Libra, a sign of the zodiac that involves diplomacy, that takes into account other pople's point of view.

     Still, this combination is highly combative, it makes people feel very confident and represents a tendency to impose. No doubt that this will be expressed through vigorous discussions, confrontations and  intellectual or physical duels, or even violence. But don't worry, there are ways to manage such a dynamo and channel it through something constructive. The escape point is indicated by the relationship of 150° or quincunx with Neptune, whose station on the Vela supernova is still very much alive. Neptune symbolizes, among several other things, social and collective consciousness, the release of  personal ego, altruism, spirituality and art.

On a more subtle level, this trend can be applied to artwork, which can have great progress. And although it is not something directly visible, Mars and M89 can also give very good results in spiritual-type activities: meditation, prayer, reflecting, studying, etc..

    In short: it is best to direct this astrological combination to activities that transcend the personal ego. If you focus on the ego, it can be excellent for sporting events and to surpass records in training, but beware you do not exaggerate. M89 ferocious appetite combined with the martian impulsiveness and stubbornness can cause accidents by nessreckless and unnecessary fights in which nobody really wins. Avoid getting trapped in your ego! Internationally, this trend will give strength to the many demonstrations around the world, but in some cases there is a danger of severe repression, because Mars representss the police, the military force, directed precisely to vulnerable segments of the population, simbolized by Neptune, too.

     As individuals, we can raise above this level and avoid falling into provocations, rather focusing on another feature of M89: a core that has exploded and generated two X-ray rings around it. This represents internalization, deep insights (hence the meditation, mental reflection, etc). Therefore, the actions of the masses are now more conscious than many individuals! But for those who are awake, the insights mean the ability to transcend themselves, to find solutions to problems, to have achievements and information difficult to obtain at other times, and this is highly evolutionary.
