March 23/24: The Lunar Eclipse conjunct galaxy M89 confronts us with the abuse of power both in our personal lives and globally

      A lunar eclipse is an opportunity to rationally assimilate elements that have remained unconscious, that abruptly explode into our consciousness, forcing us to confront and assimilate them. The Full Moon, reflecting sunlight over its entire surface, is a moment of consciousness; during a lunar eclipse, it is interrupted momentarily, indicating a "dark" part that remains unclear to our rational mind. The area of ​​the sky or the celestial bodies that are within the area of ​​the eclipse, are an indicator of the issues that we have to work on, both personally and collectively, during the six months following this celestial phenomenon.

      In March 2016, the Lunar Eclipse falls in ecliptic conjunction to galaxy M89, located in the constellation Virgo. M89 is characterized by being a dominant galaxy, with a voracious appetite: it is in the process of absorbing a smaller galaxy, and there are indications that it has swallowed others in the past. Galactic cannibalism is common in the universe, but M89 also has a dominant character: its core exploded two million years ago, showing a tendency to manifest its power violently. The meaning of the eclipse, therefore, is related to the use and abuse of power, and its consequences at both personal and global levels.

     At the international level, it is clear how the eclipse relates in its explosive mode with the attacks in Brussels just a day before the phenomenon itself. It is striking how the eclipse falls almost exactly at lower meridian of Brussels. Above all, it is a brutal way for the cosmos to confront our society in order to become aware of the causes leading to such events, not because they are known, but because they have not been resolved. And in this sense, the eclipse will confront us with many situations implying abuse of power worldwide to reach their causes: the tasks that humanity has not been able to resolve.

    On a personal level, the eclipse with M89 can be handled in a more direct and less violent way. Basically, it refers to the way in which we use our personal power in everyday life. It is important to realize how we manage our emotional energy in relationships, as the eclipse falls on the zodiac sign of Libra. The eclipse will allow us to become aware of the energy we project and we receive from others, and will force us to think about it in order to make the necessary changes to avoid abuse or imbalanced relationships. Physically, it clearly refers to our nutrition(the voracious M89), and the abuse we can inflict to our body when we feed it with unnecessary, toxic or food which in turn is the product of the abuse on other living beings. Do we need to abuse nature in order to survive? Or other fellow beings?

      Un eclipse lunar representa una oportunidad de asimilar racionalmente elementos que han permanecido inconscientes, y que saltan a la conciencia de una forma abrupta, obligándonos a confrontarlos y asimilarlos. La Luna Llena, al reflejar la luz del Sol en toda su superficie, es un momento de conciencia; durante un eclipse lunar, ésta se ve interrumpida momentáneamente, indicando una parte "oscura" o que permanece poco clara para nuestra mente. La zona del cielo o los cuerpos celestes que se encuentran dentro de la zona del eclipse, son un indicador de los temas que nos toca trabajar, tanto en lo personal como en lo colectivo, durante los seis meses de vigencia de este fenómeno celeste.

      En Marzo del 2016, el eclipse lunar cae en conjunción eclíptica a la galaxia M89, que se encuentra en la constelación de Virgo. M89 se caracteriza por ser una galaxia dominante, con un apetito voraz: está en el proceso de absorber una galaxia más pequeña, y hay indicadores de que se ha tragado a otras en el pasado. El canibalismo galáctico es algo común, pero M89 tiene además un carácter dominante: su núcleo explotó hace dos millones de años, mostrando una tendencia a manifestar su poder de forma violenta. El significado del eclipse tiene que ver con el uso y el abuso del poder, y sus consecuencias tanto a nivel personal como global.

     En el plano internacional, es claro cómo el eclipse se relaciona, en su modalidad explosiva y de abuso de poder con los atentados de Bruselas apenas un día antes del fenómeno en sí. Llama la atención cómo el eclipse cae casi exactamente en la parte inferior del meridiano de Bruselas. Pero ante todo, es una manera brutal de confrontar a nuestra sociedad para tomar conciencia de las causas que conducen a este tipo de hechos, no porque no se conozcan, sino porque no se han resuelto. Y en este sentido, el eclipse nos va a confrontar con hechos de abuso de poder en todo el mundo para llegar a sus causas: las tareas que la humanidad no ha resuelto.

    En el plano personal, el eclipse con M89 se puede manejar de manera más directa y con menos violencia. Básicamente, se refiere a la manera en la cual usamos nuestro poder personal en la vida cotidiana: es importante darnos cuenta de cómo dirigimos nuestra energía emocional en las relaciones, ya que el eclipse cae en el signo zodiacal de Libra. El eclipse nos permitirá tomar conciencia de la energía que proyectamos y que recibimos de los demás, y nos impulsará a reflexionar sobre ello para hacer los cambios pertinentes, para evitar abusos o relaciones desequilibradas. Físicamente, se refiere claramente a nuestra alimentación (la devoradora M89), y al abuso que podemos cometer con nuestro cuerpo al alimentarlo con comida innecesaria, tóxica o que a su vez es el producto del abuso sobre otros seres vivientes. ¿Acaso para sobrevivir necesitamos abusar de la naturaleza? ¿O de nuestros semejantes?

July 8th: Mars conjunct galaxy M89 and at 150° from Neptune. This is certainly a strong combination, because Mars represents, above all, energy. And M89 is a giant galaxy with a voracious appetite, having eaten other smaller galaxies, whose remains form a halo around it. When both celestial bodies combine, they suggest a great power that must be handled carefully to avoid invading the space of others. Today and tomorrow, it is likely that we'll have many temptations to impose our point of view, but it is better to avoid this and try to apply our energies in the right environment. After all, both Mars and M89 are in Libra, a sign of the zodiac that involves diplomacy, that takes into account other pople's point of view.

     Still, this combination is highly combative, it makes people feel very confident and represents a tendency to impose. No doubt that this will be expressed through vigorous discussions, confrontations and  intellectual or physical duels, or even violence. But don't worry, there are ways to manage such a dynamo and channel it through something constructive. The escape point is indicated by the relationship of 150° or quincunx with Neptune, whose station on the Vela supernova is still very much alive. And although it is not something directly visible, Mars and M89 can also give very good results in spiritual-type activities: meditation, prayer, reflecting, studying, etc..

    In short: it is best to direct this astrological combination to activities that transcend the personal ego. If you focus on the ego, it can be excellent for sporting events and to surpass records in training, but beware you do not exaggerate. M89 ferocious appetite combined with the martian impulsiveness and stubbornness can cause accidents by nessreckless and unnecessary fights in which nobody really wins. Avoid getting trapped in your ego! But for those who are awake, the insights mean the ability to transcend themselves, to find solutions to problems, to have achievements and information difficult to obtain at other times, and this is highly evolutionary.

Julio 8: Marte en conjunción a la galaxia M89 y a 150° de Neptuno. Es sin duda una combinación fuerte, ya que Marte representa, ante todo, energía, y M89 es una galaxia gigante con un apetito voraz, habiendo devorado otras galaxias más pequeñas, cuyos restos forman un halo alrededor de ella. Si se juntan las energías de ambos, esto sugiere un gran poder que debe ser manejado con cuidado para no invadir los espacios de otras personas. Durante hoy y mañana, es probable que haya numerosas tentaciones para imponer nuestro punto de vista, pero es mejor canalizarla para ejercerla en el ambiente adecuado. Después de todo, tanto Marte como M89 están en Libra, un signo zodiacal que implica diplomacia, y tomar en cuenta a los demás.

     Aún así, esta combinación es altamente combativa, hace sentir a la gente muy segura de sí misma y con una tendencia a imponer. Esto representa interiorización, tomas de conciencia (de ahí la meditación, reflexión, etc). Por ello, ¡las acciones de la masa tienen más conciencia en estos momentos que la de muchos individuos! Pero para los que están despiertos, las tomas de conciencia significarán la posibilidad de trascenderse a sí mismos, de encontrar soluciones a problemas, de tener logros e información difícil de obtener en otros momentos, y esto es altamente evolutivo.
