September 22/23: the Spleen of the XXIst century: the Equinox in September 2012, galaxy M77 and the paradigms of power and money nowadays

September 22/23: The Sun enters Libra, makes a parallel with galaxy M77. Each year, the Sun is at the equinox point in parallel to galaxy M77, one of the most interesting objects in the known universe. This means that each equinox acquires the connotation of this galaxy, whose emphasis is on development, communication, productivity, financial success. It is noteworthy that when the Sun enters Libra, an area dominated by social activity and relationships, brings in its route M77's paradigms. Somehow, one might think that M77 is the strongest mirror of the development of the consumer society, since the equinoxes have been aligned in parallel to the galaxy for the last 50 years, with a narrow margin.


M77: The importance of reflecting current paradigms

     The equinoctial point, and that ancient cultures knew very well, describes the development of large-scale circumstances, the world in general, in the big picture. Thus many astrological predictions are now made through the chart of the equinoxes, which describe the course of events in the world. For a period of about 100 years, of which half have already elapsed, the equinoxes on this planet will be aligned to the galaxy M77. This emphasis repeated twice a year for a century indicates a strong influence of this celestial object in the conformation of our civilization. Of course, "influence" should be understood as a reflection of the paradigms of power and money, especially since galaxy M77 is extremely powerful in the infrared.

     Hence, in some way M77 represents the present development of capitalism and the emphasis on marketing. Furthermore, this galaxy is one of the most gigantic cosmic accelerators known as its core  expels particles and gas and accelerates them at relativistic speeds. This certainly coincides with the constant technological leaps and bounds, which anyway is coupled with the general development of the global economy. We can identify or not with what this galaxy represents, but the fact is that today's society is oriented in this way, to some extent influenced by a trend of historic proportions.

     The excesses of a materialistic society obsessed with communication, we have been experiencing aready, too, and they must be balanced by the transit of Neptune in the sign of Pisces and Aries, in the next decade, giving more emphasis to the human side and the victims of corrupt politics and an economy of convenience. Still, M77 is excellent for business, so that projects that are initiated near this part of the equinox can be boosted by this peculiar galaxy. It is definitely a time of high productivity ... We must use it to advance in our projects!


Sun = Moon / Hades, emotional cleansing formula

     However, this time, at the equinox,  the Sun is midpoint Moon/Hades and Vesta/Pluto. This represents disturbed emotions, negative reactions, depression, etc.. The variety of disturbed states can be huge, but all are based on the need to overcome negative reactions, and literally expel from ourselves disturbed states of any kind. M77 is expelling gas at high speed, which is symbolic of an emotional purification, since one gets rid of what is not needed.

      Hence the traditional "seasonal purges" of  grandmothers' remedies, at least those of about one century... Our society emphasizes so shallow and corrupt values  (M77) so in in equinoxes like this, there can be a feeling of rejection or dislike about the surrounding, materialistic, senseless reality. If you feel invaded by some unexplained depressive feeling, or see someone who is being caught in one, here's the explanation.


The modern Spleen

     This feeling is like the "spleen" of  Baudelaire and the damned poets of the nineteenth century, a profound malaise own by the decadence of civilization. While many people will perceive this, it is not necessary to personally channel this trend, you have to let go and discard undesirable feelings. Let out negative emotions, express them, so you can uproot them from within. Floral therapy can be helpful in this process! Sometimes, the Sun as midpoint Moon/Hades means aggravation of diseases, so it is advisable to be watchful and disposed to a timely action if necessary. The decay process is accelerated, but if it is taken properly, it can indicate a detox at various levels. It is good time to discard everything that does not really serve us ... at home, in the mind, in our body, at a spiritual level...

     On international issues, this is clearly not a very good omen for some people, symbolized by the Moon that, combined with Hades, can be affected in many ways by the excessive power symbolized by M77. Further socioeconomic disaster can be glimpsed in some places, perhaps manifesting through destructive natural phenomena. No doubt we'll hear of some tragedies during the fall, but it is also important to be alert, to seize the opportunity that this renewal process is carrying, taking away what is not essential in our lives. The reality is that we can live very well without too many essentials, because all we're going to take from this life, is experience. M77, meanwhile, will, in about 50 years, stop its strong influence in human society, allowing history to rest from its dynamism, power, competition and overproduction.

Trends of the June 2012 Solstice: emotional intensity, inner explorations.

       The times of the year in which there is a change of season are the most important of the annual cycle of the Earth. These changes form a regular pattern to which all nature and life on Earth is adapted. From ancient times, temples and observatories were erected to align with the equinoxes and solstices, the turning points of the year.

     The June solstice occurs when the Sun reaches its maximum north declination, located exactly on the Tropic of Cancer at declination/latitude 23° 1/2 north. When the Sun reaches this position every year, it enters the zodiacal sign of Cancer (not to be confused with the constellation of the same name). This is the start of the season, whether summer in the northern hemisphere or winter in the southern hemisphere.


       The chart made for the Sun's ingress to Cancer contains indications of the trends that will develop during the three months that follow: from the end of June, to July, throughout August and part of September. If we follow and understand the general trend, we can make our personal flow within the whole much easier ... And of course there are interesting trends in the June Solstice 2012.

      

     The Moon, at the solstice moment, is in ecliptic conjunction with M41, a star cluster in the constellation Canis Major, just below Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. The star cluster M41 has several bright orange stars of type K, which tend to emphasize emotions, desires and sexuality, in addition to a productive and creative capacity, too. And while good production and creativity are always welcome, there can be too much emphasis on the emotional side during this season. Therefore we must take advantage of it and use it as an impulse to pursue our dreams. And most of all, we must use our desires as a motivation, not as an end to satisfy in themselves.

     The Moon phase is New Moon, which means that it is a good time to promote new projects. But the general atmosphere of the summer/winter will be very emotional, because both the Sun and the Moon are in the zodiacal sign of Cancer .. Try to cool down any emotional excesses that surely will manifest, and try to use logic and common sense. However, it is a good time to explore and balance our emotional life and our inner world, at home, with relatives, working on the unconscious and our own family and cultural roots.

     As there aren't many options, we better dive into the pool of our personal unconscious! This will be excellent for healing emotions of the past, for discovering and integrating unknown parts of our history, for using saved or inherited resources, for healing our emotions and releasing them. Redirect your emotions in a positive way so you can  follow your dreams, motivations and expectations with more clarity and less weight. This is the message of star cluster M41 for successfully surfing the mid-2012...

June 16th: The Moon in parallel to M44 stimulates sentimental expression, whereas the Sun in opposition to star cluster M6 invites us to find a balance between mind and emotions.

June 16th: on the 15th, 16th and 17th of June there are not significant combinations between the major planets and asteroids in the solar system. However, there are some interactions between planets and star clusters that are interesting and which we discuss below. Before that, it is important to mention the obvious impact of the Sun's conjunction with the Crab Nebula a couple of days ago, and whose echoes reverberate more intensely these 3 days that are relatively "neutral". On June 18th, the first contact between planets is between Juno and Pluto, which reflects relationship problems: try to schedule important appointments for another day.

     Jupiter makes a parallel to the Beehive Cluster (M44), which undoubtedly stimulates strongly the need for expression and communication. It is therefore convenient to find the right channel to do so. For much of the day, the Moon will still be in parallel to  M44 too, which indicates a very favorable environment for emotional expression, and communication in general, too. M44 is called the "Beehive Cluster" because its shape resembles a honeycomb: it can be seen with the naked eye, and represents an enormous capacity for expression. This star cluster is placed directly at the zenith of Mexico City, an area of the planet with a special frenzy for communication, transport, social and artistic expression, and political demonstrations, all issues related to M44.

      The Moon, twice a month, makes contact with the Beehive Cluster through a parallel aspect. Jupiter makes these parallels about twice every 12 years ...  So this is one of those moments in which to express emotions, so things can advance. Through manifesting, we expand the possibilities. Of course, if everything is done on the right stage at the right time.  Out of context performances may exacerbate even more an already existing problem.... Avoid dramatic shows and exaggeration, look for authenticity, and then success will arrive.

     On the other hand, the Sun makes an opposition to star cluster M6, located in the constellation Scorpius and this represents a very favorable time to balance mind with emotions ... M6 is a star cluster whose emphasis is on moderation, it suggests rational tendencies and emotiona impulses seekingl balance, and they can of course bring situations to a happy average. Whether there has been emotional excesses (especially with the Moon in parallel to M44!) or repression, look for balance, with a moderate attitude or being more expressive, as appropriate in each case. Similarly, if we think too much, intellectualizing rather than feeling, we must try to make contact with our feelings. But to rationalize with clarity can also make things look better, and if there has been much emotional turmoil going on in the last 24 hours it is better then to emphasize mental activity and logical understanding.
