June 26/27: Mercury retrograde in opposition to pulsar duo PSR 1913 +16 and parallel to the Beehive Cluster (M44), indicates intense, transformative relationships and a large flow of creativity, emotion and sexuality

June 26/27: Mercury goes retrograde in ecliptic opposition to pulsar duo PSR 1913 +16 and in parallel of declination to the Beehive Cluster (M44). The zodiacal degrees in which a planet changes direction are called station points, as the planet seems to stop and change direction. Although this is only an optical illusion, station points are important astrologically, as they represent the way in which we perceive the movement of the solar system from Earth. It is as if the planet firmly underlines a particular type of experience during the retrograde period. And Mercury, representing everyday communication, often manifests in our daily routine when it goes retrograde, usually through resistance, difficulties, delays and revisions.

     This time, Mercury's station happens in opposition to a pair of pulsars that form a binary system. A pulsar is the remnant core of a supernova, or exploded star. Examples abound of single pulsars in our galaxy. It's not as common to find, however, two interacting pulsars. This definitely symbolizes intense and transformative relationships, because the pulsar is in itself the product of a profound transformation, a supernova. Moreover, pulsars tend to have a strong magnetic field, which in PSR 1913 +16 represents a  mutual magnetism. No doubt this represents intense relationships that can change our minds, emotions, ideas, lives and overall development. If the change is for better or for the worse, it's up to each particular situation and where the Mercury station point falls on the individual birth chart. But be sure that during the next three weeks humanity as a whole will experience intense and transforming contacts among individuals... We must be prepared to direct them adequately!

     Internationally, one of the several events that coincide with this trend is the invalidation of DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) in the United States. While the universe is full of double stars, symbolizing the  traditional marriage, this Mercury station emphasizes an odd, different couple (PSR 1913 +16), but one that is no less real and vital. This is also related to the recent Juno station (Juno is the main indicator of marriage), in the zodiacal sign of Aquarius, which seeks progress in unconventional ways.

     But that's not all: Mercury ís also in parallel with a well-known star cluster. This is the Beehive Cluster, or M44, in the constellation of Cancer. While the parallel is not entirely accurate (it's 7 minutes off exactness), it is strong enough to give an interesting twist to the intense relationship theme of PSR 1913 +16. M44 is a star cluster that contains stars of various types, but the predominant is the spectral type A, related to communication and expression, especially artistic. Hence this retrograde period (from June 26 to July 21) is an excellent time to intensely express what we feel, especially if we do it creatively. Teamwork can be intense but rewarding, exhausting but productive.

    However, the trend may have its principal manifestation in romantic relationships. M44 has several giant stars of spectral type K, which put the emphasis on emotions and sexuality, adding even more passion in relationships. Avoid excesses of emotion to avoid spoiling good relationships! Sexuality can be enhanced in an unusual way, and therefore it will be essential to find a suitable channel for its expression. The best way is through art, but creativity can be manifested in many ways in each different person, do not fall into stereotypes. Everything is right, except to repress what you feel! In any case, Mercury retrograde shows us through its contact with M44 the need to express positively our creativity, our emotions, our sexuality, and to find the right channels to communicate and express what we have inside. By expressing and communicating, we let life itself flow freely, allowing through this process a great revitalization. This is not a time to be alone, but rather let our emotions and relationships transform us. Let's do it consciously in order to enjoy it better! After all, this lasts only three weeks...

March 25/26: Saturn and star cluster M72 accelerate the overcoming of obstacles, Neptune and the Vela Supernova disturb the routine in relations with a touch of transcendence, while Mars, Pluto and clusters M44 and M26 reveal hidden information

March 25/26: Saturn is in parallel to globular cluster M72 and at 150° from Mars. This can mean a boost to advance in the resolution of impediments or structuring projects. Saturn is just starting to recede in the zodiac as its retrograde period began about three weeks ago. Saturn is still conjunct the spectacular cluster Omega Centauri, but the present parallel to M72 indicates an acceleration of circumstances. M72 is one of the fastest clusters in our galaxy, as it moves at 225 miles per second. It is also one of the most disperse, and thus it means a rapid relaxation, which can sometimes be positive. During the next few days, it can mean the dissolution of obstacles (represented typically by Saturn). The quincunx (150 °) with Mars means even more power to resolve problems and work in chaotic, disorganized situations. And if it is a matter of organizing chaos, then you better relax in order to reduce tensions, adapting to the trend rather than resisting it...

     Neptune is at 30° from Juno and Venus, the asteroid and planet of relationships, respectively. So the social and emotional environment wil be very Neptunian this couple of days, which means we need to handle it with care. This is because Neptune invites us to experience subtler planes than daily life, and hence stimulate imagination. Be careful not to idealize people or see them as they are not. And while Neptune may have a deceptive manifestation, take into account this same trend can help us transcend the mundane, relating to people at other levels. Relationships can be as interesting as disturbing, but this trend also means the possibility of living moments of profound insight and inspiration with our loved ones, co-workers and friends... The still intense opposition of Neptune and the Vela Supernova takes us deeper into the reality of our social and emotional lives as if we had an X-ray vision. The strong X-ray emission from the supernova explosion symbolically emphasizes psychic perception, intuition, psychoanalysis and insight when relating. All this may take us a bit away from our daily routine, but the trend only lasst a couple of days more...

     Mercury transits Uranus at a 30° angle, and is in opposition to galaxy M95. This is another trend that may distract heavily our minds from everyday life, and change our plans or routine... The alignment of the planet of communication with the barred spiral galaxy M95 reveals an abundance of ideas and thoughts. M95 has a central bar that funnels gas at its center, causing the birth of a big amount of stars.... The transit of Mercury opposed to M95 symbolizes that this creativity is manifested mainly in the mental plane. Many of these ideas can be excellent and innovative, so we have to rescue them. However, the  semisextile (30 °) to Uranus suggests strategy changes, cancellations, distractions, accidents and delays caused by inattention. No doubt that is a day in which creativity dominates, but we must not neglect daily life by thinking about our own utopia!

      On Tuesday / Wednesday of this week, Mars sextiles (60°) Jupiter, which is in opposition to star cluster M92 in the constellation Hercules. This may give some strength to the opposition Jupiter/M92 momentarily, which is no doubt about situations that are losing strength, that literally "deflate", including possibly a devaluation in the financial arena. Since Jupiter represents excesses, it is likely that they will have to be corrected during these days. It is therefore a good time to find a healthy balance in finances and in matters where there have been excesses. This happens because cluster M92 has the lowest metallicity in the Messier Catalog, and hence it represents a lack of refinement and little relative value, even a diminished value. On the other hand, Jupiter can represent a positive balance in situations of financial crisis or shortage, which will tend to improve. The trend is toward equilibrium, so it is better to be cautious and not to engage in a process of loss or decline, but rather one of recovery and increase.

     However, the aspect that might prevail over the week is the square (90 °) between Mars and Pluto. It is not just a relationship of 90° between the two planets, but a more complex structure... Mars is forming simultaneously an opposition to globular cluster M3, and Pluto is conjunct and contra parallel to star clusters M44 and M26, respectively. The trend right now with Pluto refers to reveal hidden information, as M26 tends to hide ideas (it is obscured by clouds of interstellar dust), and M44 to express with intensity (its stars are of spectral type A). There might be some interesting revelations during these days, both personally and socially, but also in politics and in other areas as well. Mars tends to accelerate this process, helping to overcome insecurities indicated by its opposition to M3, a cluster with many variable, unstable stars. However, it is necessary to think about the consequences of acting impulsively and reveal or expose sensitive information in an inappropriate context. It is advisable to think before you speak or act... It is best to channel this trend to express valuable ideas that need promotion. And while the Pluto aspect still remains operating for about three more weeks, Mars will make us lose the shyness and stage fright during this week!

September 10/11: Juno and galaxy M49 draw attention to the important relationships in our lives; Pluto in contra parallel to the Beehive Cluster (M44), seeks to express hidden contents

September 10/11: Juno is contra parallel to elliptical galaxy M49, and this has an effect on  partnerships in general, and specifically in love relationships. The tendency is to manifest power and notoriety as giant galaxy M49 is the brightest of the Virgo cluster. This is an indication that some relationships need attention and will be more demanding than usual. The lack of commitment and response will enhance the need to attract attention, and in many cases also the temptation of power games and manipulation to do so.

     But do not wait for things to get to this point, it is better to anticipate and devote time and energy to the people that really interests us. It is a good moment to confirm the ties that bind us to others. In that case,  relations will be given a new life, to reaffirm commitment in friendship, love, affection, sexuality, family, business, neighborhood, or any other kind of valuable relationship. M49 is a galaxy that has exhausted its star-generating activity, indicating the repetition of old patterns and behaviors, which can generate power games, friction, and the feeling of always staying in the same vicious circle. And while this trend shows no renewal for behavior patterns, at least it should be clear that it is necessary to give an adequate attention to those who are a substantial part of our lives.

      Pluto is in contra parallel to the Beehive Cluster (M44). In a few days, Pluto will make its annual direct station to finish its retrograde period of 2012, and it will do so in contra parallel to the Beehive Cluster. This combination indicates contents which come to the surface and manifest clearly after being hidden, perhaps through an expressiveness with extremely high overtones. It is a time to express emotions, feelings, ideas and creativity that had been latent or repressed, and so it is good to find the right channels to do so. Furthermore, the need for expression can be so strong that the manifestation can erupt abruptly, being inconsistent and inadequate, so it is important to express things consciously.

     It is a creative and transformative impulse, that obviously can have a positive outlet through art and communication. In social and international affairs, the trend will highlight controversial information, generating scandals, while intensifying the transformative nature of public demonstrations over the entire planet. This trend will last almost the whole month of September, and so it is wise to anticipate it and gradually unveil covered issues so they may find a solution, both at our home closet and at the hidden corners of our psyche ...

Septiembre 10/11: Juno está en contraparalelo a la galaxia elíptica M49, y esto tiene un efecto sobre las relaciones en general, y en específico en las relaciones de pareja. La tendencia es a manifestar poder y notoriedad, ya que M49 es una galaxia gigante y la más brillante del cúmulo de Virgo. Esto es un indicador de que algunas relaciones requieren atención y serán más demandantes que de costumbre. La falta de compromiso y de respuesta traerán como consecuencia la necesidad de llamar la atención, y en muchos casos, también la tentación de caer en juegos de poder y manipulación.

     Pero no hay que esperar a que las cosas lleguen a este punto; es mejor anticiparse y dedicar tiempo y energía a las personas que realmente nos interesan, evitando el recurrir a tácticas dominantes para reafirmar los lazos que nos unen con los demás. En ese caso, las relaciones cobrarán nueva vida, al reafirmarse el compromiso de amistad, amor, afecto, sexualidad, familiar, de negocios, de vecinos, o cualquier otro. M49 es una galaxia que ha agotado su actividad generadora de estrellas, lo que indica la repetición de patrones y conductas viejas y conocidas, lo que puede generar juegos de poder, fricciones, y la sensación de estar siempre en el mismo círculo vicioso. Y si bien esta tendencia no da para mucha renovación de conductas, al menos debe quedar claro que sí es necesario darle la atención adecuada a quienes forman parte sustancial de nuestra vida.

      Plutón se encuentra en contraparalelo al Cúmulo del Panal (M44). En unos días más, Plutón se quedará estacionario para terminar su retrogradación de 2012, y lo hará en contraparalelo al Cúmulo del Panal. Esta combinación indica contenidos que salen a la luz y se manifiestan después de haber estado ocultos, y una expresividad que adquiere matices sumamente intensos. Es un momento para manifestar emociones, sentimientos, ideas y creatividad que habian estado latentes o reprimidos, y por ello es bueno encontrar los canales adecuados para hacerlo. Por otro lado, la necesidad de expresión puede ser tan fuerte que acabe manifestándose de una manera abrupta, inconsistente e inadecuada, por lo que es importante hacerlo de manera consciente.

     Se trata de un impulso creativo y transformador que evidentemente tendrá una salida positiva a través del arte y la comunicación. En el plano social e internacional, esta tendencia sacará a la luz información polémica, generando controversias, a la vez que intensifica el caracter transformador de las manifestaciones públicas a lo largo de todo el planeta. Esta tendencia durará prácticamente todo el mes de  Septiembre, y por ello conviene anticiparse a ella e ir sacando poco a poco las cosas escondidas, tanto en el closet de casa como en los rincones escondidos de nuestra psique...

August 29/30: Venus, the Beehive Cluster (M44) and Pluto compensate power games with harmony; Juno, the Hourglass Nebula and Saturn give structure and support to problematic situations

August 29/30: Pluto is contra parallel to Venus and the Beehive Cluster (M44),  trines the Sun. Cluster M44 in parallel to Venus indicates a powerful, harmonic emotional, artistic and personal expression. Further, in contra parallel to Pluto, the question becomes more intense, and indicates precisely that power plays in relationships and manipulation attempts must be balanced, corrected, compensated by a well defined harmonic attitude. It's like apologizing with a bouquet of fresh flowers, and even if there is no display of manipulation, diplomacy, kindness, beauty and refinement will be of great help. It is an excellent time for artistic expression, to express feelings and emotions, passional or sexual relationships and sexual passion for social and business events. You just need to avoid power struggles...

         But some relationships require more detailed care. Saturn is at 30° from Juno and the Hourglass Nebula. The Juno ecliptic conjunction with the Hourglass Nebula denotes a particular weakness in relationships and social activities in general: this nebula is a dying star that is losing strength gradually. This may indicate some temporary difficulties in relationships, especially between couples, and Saturn enters the scene to help structure and define situations are deteriorating. It's a good time to confront the any difficulties that may arise in relations with a realistic approach, as well as agreements, business, friendship, family, couple and marriage issues. While the process itself is not pleasant, it is likely that the effort of putting things on the table will help to fix  situations and give support to plans instead of letting situatiions collapse by themselves. Mercury is square Juno and sextile Saturn, so if there is dialogue, there is understanding and things can move forward beyond any obstacles...

Agosto 29/30: Plutón en contraparalelo a Venus y al Cúmulo del Panal (M44), en trígono al Sol. Venus en paralelo al Cúmulo del panal, eso indica una expresión afectiva, artística y armónica muy potente. Pero en contraparalelo a Plutón, la cuestión se pone más intensa, e indica precisamente que los juegos de poder en las relaciones y los intentos de manipulación deben equilibrarse, corregirse, compensarse con una actitud armónica bien definida. Es como si se pidiera disculpas con un ramo de flores frescas, y aunque no haya habido un despliegue de manipulación, la diplomacia, la amabilidad, la belleza, el refinamiento serán de gran ayuda. Esto puede indicar dificultades temporales en algunas relaciones, especialmente las de pareja, y Saturno entra en escena para ayudar a estructurar y definir situaciones que se están deteriorando. Es un momento adecuado para confrontar con realismo las dificultades en las relaciones, en los acuerdos, en los negocios, en la amistad, en la familia, con la pareja. Si bien el proceso no es agradable en sí, es muy probable que el esfuerzo de expresar las cosas ayude a componer las situaciones y darle un soporte a las cosas en vez de dejar que colapsen por sí mismas. The fastest planet in the solar system is conjunct the Beehive cluster (M44), indicating a time of great expressiveness and eloquence, suitable for communication, writing, artistic creativity, and dialogue in general. M44, as we have seen before, is a star cluster with a large number of stars of type A, which stimulate expressiveness. However, Mercury is also placed simultaneously at 150° from Pluto and Chiron, forming a triangle known in astrology as a Yod. This represents a tendency to investigate, to get information from the depths of the psyche, the closet, time, History, or the library. Psychologically, to express deep feelings or hidden and forgotten itself is in itself a great achievement, as well as discovering the real causes of a disease with a good diagnosis, or disclose facts that contribute to scientific knowledge or culture and society general. The insights can be quite intense, and therefore, it is necessary to calculate how much it is wise to reveal publicly, because information obtained in any research area can cause arguments, upset or just a good controversy...

     Anyway, it's a good day for psychoanalysis, research, studying, teaching, labs and medical diagnoses ...and also for public scandals. Fortunately, Venus is square to Pallas and this represents a touch of diplomacy among such communication frenzy. M44, como hemos visto en otras ocasiones, es un cúmulo estelar con una gran cantidad de estrellas de tipo A, que estimulan la expresión. Sin embargo, Mercurio también se sitúa simultáneamente a 150° de Plutón y de Quirón, formando un triángulo conocido en astrología como Yod. July 30/31: The Sun and the Beehive Cluster (M44) emphasize expression and communication, and reveal hidden information, Venus and the Great Orion Nebula generate material, artistic abundance...and love

July 30/31: The Sun conjunct the Beehive Cluster (M44), at 150° from Pluto, at 60° from Vesta. Each year, around July 30th, the Sun transits in ecliptic conjunction to the Beehive cluster, located in the center of the constellation of Cancer and the beginning of the zodiacal sign of Leo. This transition, although a fleeting one, can be significant because of its strong tendency to expressiveness. M44 contains lots of white stars of type A, classified after their temperature, which hovers around 10,000 degrees Kelvin. A-type stars are associated astrologically with expressive power, an enormous need for communication that the Sun's transit emphasizes even more.

     However, during this year's transit, it is advisable to be cautious: the Sun is simultaneously located at 150° from Pluto and star cluster M25, which, as we have seen in other sections of the Galactic Guide, may result in hidden information coming to the surface. The effect of this trend may vary: while it is constructive to express repressed emotions and thoughts, it can also generate situations that will surely cause conflict and controversy. In any case, you should use this transit to bring out creative ideas that were forgotten in the past and that can have a good use in the present. It is also good for expressing feelings of all kinds, easing the emotional burden and giving some relief. Do not rule out the possibility of a romantic mood, especially with Venus conjunct the Great Nebula in Orion (see below), nor scandals caused by indiscretions or manipulative research. If you want to keep something hidden today, you must be especially careful...

     Fortunately, the Sun is at 60° from Vesta, a highly favorable combination symbolizing the ability to focus on constructive activities, compensating somehow the tendency to be distracted by external events, to which one can escape if you tune on consiously with this frequency. More even so as Vesta is conjunct the Hyades, a star cluster in the constellation Taurus, whose abundance of K-type stars suggests much creative and productive activity, also in financial terms. And while the combination Vesta/Hyades is favorable to concentrate on productive work, it also places great emphasis on sexuality and desire, which can absorb a substantial amount of attention for a couple of days. The trend may actually manifest at all these levels, but the important thing is to know the general atmosphere and to consciously decide which frequency to connect with.

     Venus conjunct the Great Orion Nebula (M42) is a very positive trend that represents a wealth both in the material plane and relationships. It is an excellent time to generate money or resources, as well as for artistic creation and showing love at all levels. Yes, Venus can be decidedly romantic in combination with M42, and in general, it can build or reinforce confidence in many types of relationships. Finally, minor planet Pallas makes its retrograde station in opposition to star cluster M3, an issue that we have discussed in previous days. Julio 30/31: El Sol en conjunción al Cúmulo del Panal (M44), a 150° de Plutón y a 60° de Vesta. Cada año, alrededor del 30 de Julio, el Sol transita en conjunción eclíptica al cúmulo del Panal, situado en el centro de la constelación de Cáncer y al principio del signo zodiacal de Leo. Este tránsito, aunque es fugaz, puede ser significativo debido a su fuerte tendencia a la expresividad. M44 contiene una gran cantidad de estrellas blancas de tipo A, clasificadas así por su temperatura, que oscila alrededor de los 10,000 grados Kelvin. Las estrellas de tipo A están asociadas astrológicamente con facultades expresivas, una enorme necesidad de comunicación que el tránsito del Sol enfatiza aún más.

     Sin embargo, en el tránsito de este año, será necesario tener precaución al manifestarse: el Sol está simultáneamente situado a 150° de Plutón y del cúmulo estelar M25, que, como hemos visto en otras secciones de la Guía Galáctica, puede resultar en información oculta que sale a la luz. El uso que se le pueda dar a esta tendencia es variable: si bien resulta constructivo para manifestar emociones y pensamientos reprimidos, también puede exponer situaciones que seguramente causarán conflictos y controversia. En todo caso, es recomendable usar este tránsito para sacar a la luz ideas creativas que estaban olvidadas y que pueden aprovecharse en el presente, así como para manifestar sentimientos de todo tipo que hayan quedado guardados, aligerando la carga emocional y propiciando el desahogo. No se descarta la posibilidad de una modalidad romántica, especialmente con Venus en conjunción a la Gran Nebulosa de Orión (ver más abajo), pero tampoco la de escándalos causados por indiscreciones o investigaciones. Si desean mantener algo oculto, hoy hay que tener una mayor precaución...

     Afortunadamente, el Sol se encuentra a 60° de Vesta, una combinación altamente favorable y que simboliza la posibilidad de concentrarse en actividades constructivas, compensando un poco la tendencia a dejarse impresionar por eventos externos, a los cuales uno puede sustraerse si sintoniza esta frecuencia benéfica. Tanto más que Vesta se encuentra en conjunción a las Híades, un cúmulo estelar en la constelación de Tauro, cuya abundancia de estrellas de tipo K revela mucha actividad creativa y productiva, incluso en el plano económico. Y si bien la combinación Vesta/Híades es favorable para concentrarse en un trabajo productivo, también enfatiza mucho la sexualidad y el deseo, que pueden absorber sustancialmente la atención durante un par de días. Tal vez se manifieste a todos estos niveles, pero lo importante es conocer la atmósfera general y poder decidir conscientemente a qué frecuencia nos conectamos.

     Venus en conjunción a la Gran Nebulosa de Orión (M42) es una tendencia muy positiva que representa una gran abundancia tanto en el plano material como en las relaciones. Es un excelente momento para generar recursos económicos, así como para la creación artística y manifestar amor a todos los niveles. Sí, Venus puede ser decididamente romántico en combinación a M42, y en general, puede afianzar la confianza en muchos tipos de relaciones. Le daremos seguimiento a esta fantástica combinación discutiendo sus características en las secciones de Facebook y Twitter de la Guía Galáctica a lo largo de los días que vienen, ¡no se las pierdan! Finalmente, Palas hace su estación retrógrada en oposición al cúmulo estelar M3, un tema que ya habíamos discutido anteriormente y que representa la posibilidad de compensar grandes o pequeñas debilidades, fallas, y un funcionamiento deficiente a lo largo del mes de Agosto 2012. De modo que si en estos días se detectan inconsistencias en la rutina diaria, es el momento de reparar, componer, reforzar, de diseñar estrategias y planes para compensar procedimientos que ya no rinden lo que se espera de ellos. July 26/27: Mercury retrograde and the Beehive Cluster (M44) emphasize the manifestation of pending issues, while Pluto and M25 reveal hidden information

July 26/27: Mercury retrograde is conjunct the Beehive Cluster (M44) and at 150° from Pluto. This trend repeats to some extent yesterday's theme, but certainly in a slightly less dramatic way. Mercury, the planet of communication, crosses backwards the heart of the constellation Cancer and joins the Beehive Cluster (M44). This cluster has an abundance of A-type stars, which are associated with expression and communication in all its manifestations. This is undoubtedly a good time to spread and manifest our ideas and creativity, but we must not forget that Mercury is still retrograde and rather favors resuming past projects, the communication of unfinished issues, expressing blockedor hidden emotions, the contact with people from the past returning to our lives.

      Furthermore, the relationship of 150° with Pluto and star cluster M25 can bring hidden information to the surface, causing commotion. Pluto still will be conjunct M25 for several weeks ahead, indicating the transformation of old patterns. M25 is a rather old cluster, representing deeply-rooted customs and issues from the past. On the other hand, M25 has some G-type giant stars, like our Sun but much larger, emphasizing the tendency to dominate, to manipulate. These impositive behavior will be exposed through investigations and information that comes to light -with the help of Mercury. Whether this is positive or not, it depends largely on the particular information found, but in any case, it is a good day for research, for studying, for thinking deeply, for modifying our point of view and adjust it to reality. To avoid: paranoia, obsessions, manipulation, and exposure to theft by neglect or naivety.

Julio 26/27: Mercurio retrógrado en conjunción al Cúmulo del Panal (M44) y a 150° de Plutón. ESta tendencia repite en cierta medida la de ayer, aunque ciertamente de manera un poco menos dramática. Mercurio, el planeta de la comunicación, pasa por el corazón de la constelación de Cáncer y se junta con el Cúmulo del Panal (M44), que tiene una gran abundancia de estrellas de tipo A, las cuales están asociadas a la expresión y a la comunicación en todas sus manifestaciones. No cabe duda de que puede ser un momento adecuado para difundir nuestras ideas y creatividad, pero no hay que olvidar que Mercurio continúa retrógrado y favorece más el retomar proyectos del pasado, comunicar asuntos pendientes, expresar emociones guardadas u olvidadas, comunicarse con gente del pasado que regresa a nuestras vidas.

     Además, la relación de 150° con Plutón y el cúmulo estelar M25 puede sacar información oculta a la superficie, causando conmoción. Plutón y M25 estarán en conjunción todavía varias semanas más indicando la transformación de viejos patrones de conducta. M25 es un cúmulo bastante viejo, representando costumbres arraigadas y asuntos provenientes del pasado. Por otro lado, M25 tiene estrellas gigantes de tipo G, parecidas a nuestro Sol pero mucho más grandes, enfatizando la tendencia a dominar, a manipular, y estas conductas quedarán expuestas a través de tomas de conciencia o de información que sale a la luz.Que esto sea positivo o no, depende precisamente de la información encontrada, pero en todo caso, es un buen día para investigar, estudiar, pensar en profundidad, modificar nuestro punto de vista y ajustarlo a la realidad. A evitar: la paranoia, las obsesiones, la manipulación, y la exposición a robos por descuido o ingenuidad.

July 25/26: The Sun and the Beehive Cluster (M44) in a powerful adjustment with Pluto and star cluster M25, show struggle between expressiveness and control. Mercury, Uranus and Supernova 1987A radically change our point of view with strong insights

July 25/26: The Sun is in parallel to star cluster M44, in contra parallel to Pluto and star cluster M25. Once again, the astrological combinations reveal a powerful set of forces that can lead to a strong balance or heavy confrontations. The Sun in parallel to the Beehive Cluster or M44 indicates a highly expressive trend, directed outwards in order to manifest, while Pluto and star cluster M25 represent a strong control, not only of character, but also administrative. M25 represents the will expressed in the material plane, in particular things, and Pluto indicates further control over them. Therefore, in everyday life we will be faced with several choices: to speak or be silent, to buy or save, to come out or hide, and so on.

     It is advisable to have a moderate attitude and find a nice balance in our decisions. But the Pluto/M25 mix also refers to explore past issues: M25 is a considerably older cluster (90 million years) and Pluto probes deeply into that past. The Sun and M44 will be responsible for making the publicity. It's like an archaeological exploration! It would not be surprising that some financial, sexual, political or other, scandals arise in the world during this trend.      Another reason to think carefully what is said is Mercury retrograde in opposition to the supernova 1987A and trine Uranus. Mercury combined with Uranus, especially through a trine (120°), suggests a great freedom of expression, tending to manifest thoughts spontaneously and informally. But the Supernova 1987A is very powerful, it is still very young compared to others. Its enormous transformative power combined with language can make words become small bombs, sometimes unwillingly. Supernova 1987A is very bright in X-rays, allowing a deeper vision, investigation, discoveries, to see beyond the surface. But information obtained through these insights can be dangerous, and should be considered in each case whether it is spread, and how. The best way to use this trend is putting the mind in a different plane from the usual and regular, thinking with our higher mind, researching, visualizing. It is a time to express and encourage inventiveness, mental creativity. We should allow our minds to process things differently, in a new, innovative, iconoclastic way. Thus, the change of viewpoint will result in personal growth and not in a small hurdle of distress.

Julio 25/26: El Sol y el Cúmulo del Panal (M44) equilibran su fuerza con Plutón y el cúmulo estelar M25, provocando una lucha entre la expresividad y el control. Mercurio, Urano y la Supernova 1987A cambian radicalmente nuestro punto de vista con tomas de conciencia

Julio 25/26: El Sol en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M44, en contraparalelo a Plutón y al cúmulo estelar M25. Una vez más, las combinaciones astrológicas revelan un poderoso ajuste de fuerzas, que puede acabar en un sólido equilibrio o en fuertes confrontaciones. El Sol en paralelo al Cúmulo del Panal o M44 indica una tendencia fuertemente expresiva, dirigida al exterior y a manifestar, mientras que Plutón y el cúmulo M25 representan un fuerte control, no sólo de carácter, sino también administrativo. M25 indica una voluntad expresada a través del plano material, en cosas concretas, y Plutón indica un control sobre ellas. Por lo tanto, en la vida cotidiana nos encontraremos ante la opción de hablar o callar, de comprar o ahorrar, de sacar o guardar y así sucesivamente.

No sería de extrañar que surgieran escándalos financieros, sexuales, políticos o de otro tipo en el mundo bajo esta tendencia, pero si ustedes quieren evitarlos en su vida personal, hay que guardar una máxima discreción por un par de días. Y si no hay razones para temer, entonces pongan el pasado a funcionar en el presente, estableciendo una continuidad entre el ayer y hoy.

     Otra razón para pensar cuidadosamente lo que se dice es Mercurio retrógrado en oposición a la supernova 1987A y en trígono a Urano. Mercurio combinado con Urano, especialmente en trígono, representa una gran libertad de expresión, tendiendo a manifestar las cosas con espontaneidad y de manera informal. Pero la Supernova 1987A es muy potente, pues es todavía muy joven en comparación a otras. Su enorme fuerza de transformación combinada con el lenguaje puede hacer que las palabras se conviertan en pequeñas bombas, a veces sin desearlo. La Supernova 1987A es muy brillante en rayos X, lo que permitirá profundizar, investigar, descubrir, ver más allá de la superficie. Pero la información obtenida a través de estas tomas de conciencia puede ser peligrosa, y hay que pensar en cada caso si se difunde, y de qué manera. La mejor forma de canalizar esta tendencia es poniendo la mente en un plano diferente al usual y cotidiano, meditando, investigando, visualizando. Mercury goes retrograde conjunct the star cluster M67

         Once again, Mercury, the planet of communication, begins a retrograde period, this time in the zodiacal sign of Leo and in ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M67. While the entire retrograde period will last until August 8th, 2012, the fact that Mercury is stationary in the same zodiacal degree of M67 is highly significant. This combination shows the important issues to work on the days and weeks ahead. M67 is a very old star cluster in the constellation of Cancer: its age is about 3 billion years (!) and therefore represents past issues, probably unresolved relationships or unfulfilled desires. No wonder it can revive old passions or relationships in which something was pending, no matter how long ago. In fact, the relationships that become important again can bring many positive consequences.

     Even those relations in which there was a disturbing contact in the past may benefit at this time of dialogue and / or confrontations that will eventually work things out. We will be able to close cycles and start another chapter of our lives. The same is true of creative projects that were suspended, neglected, or postponed for various reasons, as it was not their time. But now it's time to dust off and reassess old projects, uncovering the great possibilities available in the present and immediate future. Hence, we don´t need to search very far for opportunities: we may have good resources and relationships available close to us. Bring them to the present time and put them to work within the three weeks to come!

     Here is the complete schedule of the different stages of Mercury retrograde in the months of July and August 2012. It is noteworthy that Mercury will retrograde in the zodiacal sign of Leo and the constellation Cancer. The constellations and zodiac signs are different things, although they carry the same names, which usually leads to confusion. The diagram below illustrates visually the difference between signs and constellations.

The constellations are groups of stars, while the zodiacal signs are 30 degree sector of the Zodiac or Ecliptic, the Sun's apparent path around the celestial sphere during the year. Although they have the same names, are not the same and this is often confusing.

     In addition, the following diagram shows the positions of Mercury retrograde in relation to the different star clusters that will stimulate in its path. Compare the illustration with the interpretations that follow:

July 15th - Mercury retrograde station at 12° of the sign of Leo, conjunct the star cluster M67 - M67 is an old open cluster, with a large number of stars (over 550). Mercury station conjunct M67 suggests the possibility of reviving past relationships and resuming stagnant projects, perhaps those that were never carried out. The abundance of K-type giant stars in this cluster also indicates emotions, desire and sexuality intensifying around this time.

July 22nd - Mercury retrograde station in Declination. While the most popular retrogradation is horizontal, along the Zodiac, Mercury also changes direction as it moves downward, ie in declination (eventually all  planets do). These declination stations are generally also very significant but not so well known. This time, Mercury stops in its movement south, in the parallel 13° North, in parallel to the galaxy M90, a galaxy with many contrasts. This indicates the need of balance, as there may be excesses in some areas and shortages in others. It also suggests an excellent time to level, edit, correct, balance anything that is tilted or unjust. The most important thing to acknowledge at this time is that these imbalances can stem from rigid ideas, prejudices or obsessions on certain issues, neglecting other points of view.

July 27th - Mercury retrograde makes a conjunction to the star clusters M44 and M48. Both clusters have an abundance of stars of type A, indicating that it is an excellent time to communicate, express, manifest, in particular ideas, emotions or projects that had been hidden, repressed or forgotten. Whatever happens, we will relive the past and therefore it is good to use this impulse to make stalled energy flow. This may be used for the benefit of all, leaving room for the new. This moment also takes artistic creativity to the fullest, take advantage of it!

July 31st - Mercury retrograde makes a conjunction with open cluster M93: it is a moment to review our ideas and see the effect they have had on our reality. It stimulates a deep mental approach, visualization and introspection, and research on specific topics. This review will lead to a strong awareness of our present situation, in ways that we had not noticed before. The realization of this will most likely provoke a change of direction: it is a time to adjust our attitudes and projects.

August 8 - Mercury Direct Station, ending its retrograde period conjunct star cluster M46. This is a cluster that symbolizes great abundance, because it has a lot of stars. Therefore, it stimulates prosperity, sales, advertising, promotion, trade. If you have something to promote, do this around this date.  It also favors travel, creativity and communication. M46 represents also a small weak point in a strong, big structure, so it is important to check minor flaws that could potentially generate significant discomfort or disability, in projects, domestic life, appliances, cars, computers, etc... A good pretext for giving some maintenance to the house, office, garden, any space we use regularly and also to body parts that need it...

August 15th - Mercury conjunct M93 in direct motion: similar to July 31st, but focused on new ideas and projects.

August 17th - Direct Station in declination. Mercury retrograde in declination ends in parallel to Geminga, a pulsar or neutron star, the product of a supernova explosion in the constellation Gemini. This may coincide with breaks in communication, difficulties of understanding and lack of response by those who we expect to show support or be open to exchange. It is best to use this impulse for introspection or for focusing on major projects, avoiding interruptions and distractions. This concentration can have excellent results. Looking for encouragement and response from people will most likely be frustrating. This is deal for retreats, meditation, psychoanalysis, scientific research, literary or philosophical investigation, and generally for having a direct connection to the universe and infinity.

     This silence is relative, because the next day a completely opposite trend is activated, so it is a matter of deciding with which one we want to connect. According to our activities, we can choose the option that best suits us or our projects. We must also look carefully to see in which frequency others are connected and respect that.
                                                                                                                                   
August 18th - Mercury is conjunct again to star clusters M44 and M48. The trend is very similar to that of July 27th, but with an emphasis on expressing new things rather than past issues.

August 22nd: Mercury makes a conjunction with star cluster M67, whose effect is similar to that of July 15th. This completes Mercury's retrograde period, since it returns to the point at which it stopped at that time. Therefore, we can say that it is time to manifest the material propserity, creativity, intellectual or emotional abundance that began to take shape since then.

Mercurio se pone retrógrado en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M67

     Una vez más, el planeta de la comunicación comienza un período de retrogradación, esta vez en el signo zodiacal de Leo y en una conjunción eclíptica al cúmulo estelar M67. Si bien el período retrógrado completo durará hasta el 8 de Agosto 2012, el hecho de que Mercurio se estacione en el mismo grado zodiacal de M67 es altamente significativo. Esta combinación nos muestra los temas importantes a trabajar en los días y semanas que vienen. M67 es un cúmulo estelar muy viejo, su edad es de 3 billones de años y por lo tanto representa asuntos del pasado, probablemente relaciones o deseos no resueltos. No sería de extrañar que se revivan viejas pasiones, que se retomen relaciones en las cuales quedó algo por resolver, no importa el tiempo que haya pasado.

     De hecho, las relaciones que vuelven a cobrar importancia, pueden traer consigo muchos beneficios. Incluso aquellas en las que no hubo un buen contacto en el pasado pueden beneficiarse en este momento de diálogos y/o confrontaciones que acabarán por resolver las cosas, pudiendo cerrar ciclos y pasando a otra etapa. Lo mismo se puede decir de proyectos creativos que quedaron suspendidos, olvidados, o pospuestos por diferentes motivos, pues no era su tiempo. Pero ahora es el momento de sacudir el polvo y revalorar las grandes posibilidades que pueden ofrecer en el presente y futuro inmediato. De ahí que no haya que buscar demasiado por fuera: posiblemente haya recursos disponibles a nuestro alcance. ¡Descúbranlos y pónganlos a funcionar en las tres semanas que vienen!

     A continuación, el calendario completo de las diferentes etapas de Mercurio retrógrado en los meses de Julio y Agosto 2012. Es de notarse que Mercurio realizará su retrogradación en el signo zodiacal de Leo y en la constelación de Cáncer. Las constelaciones y los signos zodiacales, son cosas diferentes, aunque lleven los mismos nombres,, y eso generalmente se presta a una confusión. El diagrama que sigue ilustra visualmente la diferencia entre signos y constelaciones.

El camino de Mercurio retrógrado en Julio/Agosto 2012 a través del signo zodiacal de Leo y la constelación de Cáncer. Las constelaciones son grupos de estrellas, mientras que los signos zodiacales son sectores de 30° del Zodiaco o Eclíptica, el camino aparente del Sol alrededor de la esfera celeste durante el año. Aunque tienen los mismos nombres, no son lo mismo y esto se presta a confusión.

Por otro lado, el siguiente diagrama muestra las posiciones de Mercurio retrógrado en relación a los diferentes cúmulos estelares que irá estimulando a su paso. Comparen la ilustración con la interpretación que viene a continuación:

Julio 15 - Estación retrógrada de Mercurio en los  12° del signo de Leo, en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M67 -  M67 es un cúmulo abierto de estrellas bastante antiguo, con una gran cantidad de estrellas (más de 550). la estación de Mercurio sobre M67 sugiere pues la posibilidad de revivir relaciones del pasado y de rescatar proyectos estancados o que nunca se llevaron a cabo. la abundancia de estrellas gigantes de tipo K indica también una intensificación emocional, del deseo y de la sexualidad alrededor de esta fecha.

Julio 22- Estación retrógrada de Mercurio en Declinación. Mientras que la retrogradación más popularizada es en sentido horizontal, medida sobre el zodiaco, Mercurio también cambia de dirección en su movimiento vertical, es decir, en declinación (eventualmente todos los planetas lo hacen).Estas estaciones en declinación suelen ser también muy significativas, pero no tienen tanta difusión. En esta ocasión, Mercurio se detiene en su movimiento hacia el sur, hacia abajo, en la declinación 13° Norte, en paralelo a la galaxia M90, una galaxia con muchos contrastes. Indica la necesidad de compensar desequilibrios, pues puede haber excesos en ciertas áreas y carencias en otras. Esta estación mercuriana en declinación indica un excelente momento para nivelar, corregir, componer, equilibrar. Y en especial se trata de ver que estos desequilibrios pueden generarse a partir de ideas rígidas, prejuicios u obsesiones en ciertos temas, descuidando otros puntos de vista.

Julio 27 - Mercurio retrógrado hace una conjunción a los cúmulos estelares M44 y M48. Ambos cúmulos tienen una gran abundancia de estrellas de tipo A, lo que indica que es un momento excelente para comunicar, expresar, manifestar, en especial ideas, emociones o proyectos que habían quedado ocultos, reprimidos u olvidados. Sean cuales sean, nos harán revivir el pasado y por ello es bueno utilizar este impulso para hacer fluir energía que quedó estancada. Así, podrá utilizarse para beneficio de todos, dejando espacio para lo nuevo. Este momento también lleva la creatividad artística al máximo, ¡aprovéchenlo!

Julio 31- Mercurio retrógrado hace una conjunción con el cúmulo abierto M93: es un momento para revisar nuestras ideas y ver el efecto que han tenido sobre nuestra realidad. Estimula la profundidad mental, la visualización y la introspección, la investigación sobre temas específicos. Esta revisión indica fuertes tomas de conciencia, especialmente de situaciones de las que no nos habíamos percatado con anterioridad. El darse cuenta de ellas provocará un cambio de rumbo: es un momento para hacer ajustes a nuestras actitudes y proyectos.

Agosto 8 - Estación directa de Mercurio, terminando así su período retrógrado en longitud zodiacal en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M46. Éste es un cúmulo que representa una gran abundancia,pues posee una gran cantidad de estrellas, de modo que estimula grandemente la prosperidad, las ventas, la publicidad, la promoción, el comercio. Si tienen algo que promover, háganlo alrededor de esta fecha.Alrededor de este día, se favorecen los viajes, la creatividad y la comunicación. M46 también representa un punto débil dentro de una estructura fuerte, por lo que es importante checar pequeñas fallas que potencialmente puedan generar grandes molestias o impedimentos, en los proyectos, vida doméstica, aparatos, automóvil, computadora, etc. Un buen pretexto para darle mantenimiento a los aparatos, espacios y partes de cuerpo que lo necesiten...

Agosto 15 - Mercurio directo en conjunción a M93: similar a Julio 31, pero enfocado a ideas y proyectos nuevos.

Agosto 17 - Estación directa en Declinación. Mercurio termina este día su retrogradación en declinación, en paralelo a Geminga, un pulsar o estrella de neutrones, producto de una explosión de supernova, en la constelación de Géminis. Esto puede coincidir con interrupciones en las comunicaciones, dificultades de entendimiento, y una falta de respuesta por parte de quienes deseamos tener un apoyo o intercambio. Lo mejor es utilizar este impulso para la introspección o para concentrarse en proyectos importantes, evitando interrupciones y distracciones. Esta concentración puede tener excelentes resultados. Buscar estímulo y respuesta en el exterior resultaría frustrante en muchos casos. Ideal para retiros, meditación, psicoanálisis, investigación científica, literaria o filosófica, y en general para una conexión directa con el universo y el infinito.

     Este silencio es relativo, ya que al día siguiente se da una tendencia completamente opuesta, así que es cuestión de decidir con cuál nos conectamos. Según nuestras actividades, podemos escoger la opción que más nos conviene. También hay que observar bien para ver en qué frecuencia se mueven los demás y respetarla.
                                                                                                                                   
Agosto 18 - Mercurio hace otra vez una conjunción con los cúmulos estelares M44 y M48. La tendencia es muy similar a la de Julio 27, pero con un énfasis en expresar cosas nuevas y no necesariamente del pasado.

Agosto 22: Mercurio hace una conjunción con el cúmulo estelar M67, cuyo efecto es similar al de Julio 15. Aquí se cierra el período de retrogradación, pues Mercurio regresa al punto en el cual se detuvo en esa fecha. Por lo tanto, puede decirse que es el momento de manifestar la abundancia material, creativa, intelectual o emocional que se empezó a gestar desde ese entonces.

     July 3rd: Mercury conjunct M44 or the Beehive cluster, simply extends the effect of the conjunction of the Sun and M44, still in effect a few hours ago. The tendency is towards expression, so that the general atmosphere will invite us to talk, discuss, think, share, show, move, travel. The problem with this combination is the difficulty to stay silent, so it is advisable, before speaking, to check that you are at the appropriate space and with the right audience.

      Pallas is at 30° from Chiron, and opposed to star cluster M53. This mix represents an opportunity to make repairs and bring structure to loose and unstable situations. M53 is a cluster with many variable stars, which indicates a lack of consistency, difficulties encountered in the projects, which can lead to stagnation, particularly at a financial level and in daily life. Chiron is the great restorative among the planets of the solar system, and combined with the strategic qualities of Pallas today, you can try to implement major repairs. Besides helping to fix problematic situations, this combination is also excellent for making repairs in our body. Therefore, it is a good day for all types of physical or psychological therapies, as we'll gain control and a thorough understanding of the causes of disease.

Julio 3: Mercurio y M44 vuelven a enfatizar la necesidad de expresión, Palas, Quirón y el cúmulo estelar M53 unen esfuerzos para hacer grandes reparaciones

     Julio 3: Mercurio en conjunción al cúmulo del Panal o M44, simplemente prolonga la conjunción del Sol y M44 hace unas horas. Su tendencia es a la expresión, por lo que el ambiente invitará a hablar, discutir, pensar, intercambiar, manifestar, moverse, transportarse. El problema con esta combinación es la dificultad para guardar silencio, por lo que es conveniente, antes de hablar, de verificar que está uno en el lugar y con la audiencia adecuados.

     Palas a 30° de Quirón, en oposición al cúmulo estelar M53. Esta mezcla representa una oportunidad para hacer reparaciones y darle estructura a situaciones flojas, inestables. M53 es un cúmulo con muchas estrellas variables, lo cual indica falta de constancia, dificultades para avanzar en los proyectos, lo cual puede provocar un estancamiento en lo económico y en  la vida cotidiana. Quirón es el gran reparador entre los planetas del sistema solar, y combinado con las cualidades estratégicas de Palas, se pueden intentar reparaciones de fondo. Además de ayudar a componer situaciones problemáticas, esta combinación también es excelente para hacer reparaciones en el cuerpo. Por ello, es un buen día para todo tipo de terapias físicas o psicológicas, ya que se llegarán a controlar y comprender las causas de los padecimientos.

     July 2nd: Jupiter conjunct the South Lunar Node, in parallel to star cluster M44 (the Beehive Cluster or the Manger). This astrological combination represents the possibility of resuming relations and projects of the past and putting them to good use, updating them so we can take advantage. It is an excellent time to resolve pending issues of the distant or recent past. Unresolved things will require our attention and the  M44 or Beehive Cluster (it seems a hive with bees, when observed with the naked eye) gives an enormous expressive power to Jupiter, which by itself tends to exaggerate. M44 is one of the star clusters with more tendency to manifest, to seek communication, so we cannot just stay silent without showing what we think and feel. Of course, we must do so without exaggeration, as the excess of drama can be frightening rather than fix things.


   On the other hand, the tendency of the South Lunar Node is usually involution, so convenience can make us take refuge in the past, in our well-known routine and formulas, spoiling progress at a personal level. In world matters, M44 in parallel to Jupiter suggests a huge number of people demonstrating, so that the wave of protests worldwide for various reasons will be further intensified. (Incidentally, M44 and Jupiter are now at the same latitude of Mexico City, where elections were held yesterday and so protests are expected). And of course, there will be great moments of artistic interpretation and memorable performances with this mix. But only onstage, not on personal relationships! Let's express what whe have, then!

Julio 2: Júpiter y el Cúmulo estelar M44 indican un día para expresar ideas, sentimientos, convicciones... y sacarle provecho a proyectos del pasado.

Julio 2: Júpiter en conjunción al Nodo Sur Lunar, en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M44 (el Cúmulo del Panal o del Pesebre). Esta combinación astrológica representa la posibilidad de retomar relaciones y proyectos del pasado y darles un buen uso, para ponerlos al día y sacarles provecho. Es un excelente momento para resolver asuntos pendientes del pasado lejano o reciente. Las cosas no resueltas exigirán nuestra atención y  El cúmulo M44 o Cúmulo del Panal (pues parece un panal con sus abejas, observado a simple vista) le da un enorme fuerza expresiva a Júpiter, que de por sí tiende a exagerar. M44 es uno de los cúmulos estelares con más tendencia a manifestar, a buscar la comunicación, así que no podremos quedarnos sin exhibir lo que pensamos y sentimos. Claro está, sin exagerar, pues el exceso de dramatismo puede asustar más que componer las cosas.

     Por otro lado, la tendencia del Nodo Sur suele ser involutiva, de modo que la conveniencia puede hacer que nos refugiemos en el pasado, en la rutina conocida y así se dificulte el avance a nivel personal. En el mundo, M44 en paralelo a Júpiter sugiere una enorme cantidad de gente manifestándose, de modo que la ola de protestas por diversos motivos se intensificará aún más. (Por cierto, M44 y Júpiter están en la latitud de la Ciudad de México, donde ayer hubo elecciones y se esperan protestas). Y por supuesto, puede haber grandes momentos de interpretación artística y espectáculos memorables con esta mezcla. ¡Pero en el escenario, no en las relaciones personales! ¡A expresar, pues!
