December 17/18: Mercury and Jupiter aligned with Aldebaran and Antares indicate opportunities to materialize projects, travel, good business, to improve our mood ... and overspend

December 17/18: Mercury in contra parallel and in opposition to Jupiter, conjunct star cluster M4. The fleeting passage of Mercury in ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M4  can revive good, perhaps unfinished, old projects, ... M4 contains one of those rare pulsars or neutron stars that resurrect through a close contact with another star, with which it forms a couple. The interaction revives the pulsar and makes it rotate at a rate even higher than it was before their new partnership. Hence Mercury, in its M4 transit, can relive past projects that promise to develop positively. Mercury begins to make its annual conjunction to the star Antares in the constellation Scorpio, a red giant that has a definite effect on the material plane, either in the physical body, our economy or our immediate environment.

     Mercury has a natural association with trade and negotiations, and the contact with Antares, a  particularly gigantic star, can represent good opportunities for development and strength in the financial plane. It is possible to do excellent business, to achieve great sales and enriching exchanges, so we must not lose the opportunity to be involved in them if we can. Financial activity is greatly increased in the holiday season! But this trend must be used carefully to avoid impulsive spending.

     On the other side of the sky, Jupiter is forming an opposition to Mercury, although only really accurate for a few hours. Jupiter is in turn associated with Mercury's zodiac sign, Gemini, indicating that this opposition can bring a positive exchange, because as bis as Antares is, Jupiter is the champion planetary size in our solar system . Further, Jupiter has been conjunct for several days to the star Aldebaran in the constellation Taurus, traditionally named "the eye of the Bull". Aldebaran is an orange giant, but not as big as Antares. It stands out visually by its color and astrologically by its tendency to emphasize both emotions and material productivity. Jupiter, which tends to optimize things, indicates a good opportunity to raise the disturbing emotions and see the positive side of life despite all the destruction in the world. Look for joy and share it with those who need it!

     Antares and Aldebaran are located on opposite sides of the celestial sphere, so the ancients saw them as always confronted with one another. This, coupled with their reddish and orange glow, became a symbol of struggle, war, confrontation. Hence the name Antares, which means "the antagonist", in this case of Aldebaran. The current astronomy reveals the large size of both, especially of Antares, and its reddish color comes from its relatively low temperature compared to other stars. Red stars have a relationship with the most basic functions of human experience, such as survival, health, sexuality, emotions, and money.

      All this mixed in an unstructured way during the holiday season may end up emptying our pockets, but  we can fill them full instead if we are in the right place. Jupiter is the Santa Claus among our planets, and while its optimistic euphoria can make us spend impulsively, do not let go this oportunity.Through the Aldebaran-Antares channel, we can obtain advances in several areas of our life. These may include studies, short or long trips (to plan them and undertake them), excellent business, an increase in productivity, a positive sexual expression, improved emotional states ... But due to the confrontational nature that can this astrological combination can have- these stars are opposites in the sky after all, it is best to avoid open sincerity, impulsive comments, verbal rawness, which can easily occur with the combination  Mercury / Jupiter.

      Of course, there will be cases where assertiveness will be necessary to clarify things, but there there is always the risk that this will cause a confrontation. To get the most out of this combination, better double check that you are up to the situation, that you have a balanced exchange with people with whom you are interacting. Transform any possible confrontation in integration, in complementary views, a balance, a harmonious pact that can bring benefits for all those involved. But that, it's up to us, not to the stars.

Diciembre 17/18: Mercurio en oposición y en contraparalelo a Júpiter, en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M4. El fugaz paso de Mercurio en conjunción eclíptica al cúmulo estelar M4 puede reavivar buenos proyectos del pasado... M4 contiene uno de esos raros pulsares o estrellas de neutrones que reviven gracias a un contacto cercano con otra estrella, con la cual forma una pareja. La interacción revive al pulsar y lo hace rotar a una velocidad aún mayor a la que tenía antes de hacer su nueva asociación. De ahí que Mercurio pueda revivir proyectos del pasado, que prometen desarrollarse positivamente: Mercurio comienza a hacer su conjunción anual a la estrella Antares, de la constelación de Escorpio, una gigante roja que tiene un efecto definido sobre el plano material, ya sea en el cuerpo físico o en nuestro entorno propiamente dicho.

     Mercurio tiene una asociación natural con el comercio, las negociaciones, por lo que su contacto con Antares, una estrella particularmente gigantesca, puede representar buenas oportunidades de desarrollo en el plano económico, excelentes negocios, ventas e intercambios, por lo que no hay que perder la oportunidad de realizarlos.´¡La actividad financiera se incrementa grandemente en la temporada navideña! Pero hay que usar esta tendencia con cuidado.

     Del otro lado del cielo, se encuentra Júpiter, formando una oposición a Mercurio, aunque sólo exacta por unas horas. Júpiter se encuentra a su vez en el signo zodiacal asociado a Mercurio, Géminis, indicando que esta oposición puede traer un intercambio positivo, pues si Antares es grande como estrella, Júpiter lo es como planeta, siendo el campeón en tamaño planetario en nuestro sistema solar. Además, está en conjunción desde hace varios días con la estrella Aldebarán, de la constelación de Tauro, una gigante naranja, aunque no tan grande como Antares. Aldebarán es una estrella que resalta visualmente por su color y astrológicamente por su tendencia a enfatizar tanto las emociones como la productividad material. Júpiter, que tiende a optimizar las cosas, indica una buena oportunidad de levantar las emociones perturbadas y ver el lado positivo de la vida a pesar de tanta destrucción en el mundo.  ¡Busquen la alegría y compártanla con quien la necesita!

     Antares y Aldebarán están situadas en puntos opuestos de la esfera celeste, por lo que los antiguos las vieron siempre como confrontadas la una a la otra. Esto, aunado a su color rojizo y naranja, las convirtió en un símbolo de lucha, guerra, enfrentamiento. De ahí el nombre Antares, que significa "el antagonista", en este caso de Aldebarán. La astronomía actual revela el gran tamaño de ambas, especialmente de Antares, y que su color rojizo deriva de su temperatura relativamente baja en comparación a muchas estrellas. Las estrellas rojizas tienen una relación con las funciones  más básicas de la experiencia humana, como la supervivencia, la sexualidad, las emociones, y el dinero.

      Todos ellos mezclados sin estructura en la temporada navideña pueden acabar por vaciar nuestros bolsillos, pero también pueden llenarlos si nos ponemos en el lugar adecuado. Júpiter es el Santa Claus de los planetas, y si bien su euforia optimista puede hacernos gastar de manera impulsiva, no hay que dejarlo pasar para que, a través de la frecuencia Aldebarán-Antares, obtengamos avances en varias areas de nuestra vida. Éstas pueden incluir los estudios, viajes cortos o largos (planearlos y emprenderlos), excelentes negocios, un incremento en la productividad, una expresión sexual positiva, una mejora en los estados emocionales... Pero debido al carácter confrontativo que pueden llegar a tener -finalmente estos astros están opuestos en el cielo, es mejor evitar la sinceridad abierta, los comentarios impulsivos, la crudeza verbal, lo que puede darse fácilmente con la combinación Mercurio/Júpiter.

      Claro está, habrá algunos casos en que la asertividad  sea necesaria para clarificar las cosas, pero siempre existe el riesgo de que esto provoque una confrontación. Para sacar el mejor provecho de esta combinación, es mejor corroborar que uno está a la altura de la situación, que las personas con las que estamos mantienen un intercambio equilibrado, y transformar la posible confrontación en un complemento, un balance, un pacto armónico que puede traer beneficios para todos los involucrados. May 30th: Jupiter in opposition to Juno and the Draco Dwarf Galaxy. Jupiter and Juno represent the archetype of marriage, as in Greek mythology they are husband and wife. When these two bodies come to an opposition in the celestial sphere, they reflect the typical tensions of partnerships (love, or friendship, work, family and other close relationships as well, all governed by Juno). But they also bring the possibility of doing a positive balance, each member of the relationship respecting his/her own space and time. The ecliptic conjunction of Juno with the Draco Dwarf Galaxy is significant and represents a great need for privacy, in order to break dependency, and find individual space apart from our loved ones. It also will highlight the unfulfilled needs for intimacy, companionship and solidarity. There will be many claims about it during the following days, without a doubt... We must see where are the gaps in our relationships and work to resolve them. This will be emphasized a lot in the next couple of weeks, since Juno is further in parallel to the Horsehead Nebula, a combination that highlights the need to reunite, to bend, to form a team, to love, to manifest solidarity, both personally and collectively.

     However, before raising your voice to express your demands, take into account that the Sun is conjunct the star Aldebaran and square to Chiron and the North America Nebula. It is very easy to manifest one's desires in a self-centered way: you can hurt others and cause unnecessary rejections. To reverse this trend, it is possible to focus on your own psychological wounds and heal them through emotional expression. What is not expressed, it remains inside unresolved, and the conjunction of Sun / Adebarán, with its highly emotional quality, can help stuck emotions to flow, bringing a more optimistic outlook.

     Mercury is conjunct the Witch Head Nebula and square to Mars. The combination Mercury/Mars in square usually coincides with frictions in communication, stress in daily life, accidents by impulsivity, intolerance and stress. Avoid at all costs to speak aggressively in order to reduce violence... The Witch Head Nebula is a great help in this case, because, upon receiving the ecliptic transit of Mercury, it enables the mind to relax into a state of contemplation and passivity that helps cool the aggressiveness of Mars. The red planet is in the zodiacal sign of Virgo and can manifest through a ruthless critical attitude and the neurosis of everyday life, focusing on things thatn have no real importance. It turns out that Mars is simultaneously in contra parallel to the Witch Head Nebula, a combination that helps to take a more receptive attitude, with calmness and serenity. It's a great day to take control of our small or big neuroses and contemplate, instead of letting them possess our minds like little demons that make our lives more difficult ... Peace and love!

Mayo 30:Júpiter, Juno y la Galaxia Enana de Draco ayudan a resolver carencias en las relaciones; Mercurio, Marte y la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja reducen la tensión por medio de una actitud contemplativa.

Mayo 30: Júpiter en oposición a Juno y a la Galaxia Enana de Draco. Júpiter y Juno representan el arquetipo del matrimonio, ya que en la mitología griega son marido y mujer. Cuando ambos astros entran en oposición, reflejan tanto las tensiones típicas de la convivencia en pareja (o amistad, trabajo, familia y demás relaciones cercanas, todas regidas por Juno) como la posibilidad de formar un equilibrio positivo, cada quien con su propio espacio y tiempo. La conjunción de Juno con la Galaxia Enana de Draco es significativa, y representa una gran necesidad de privacidad, de romper la dependencia en las relaciones, de encontrarse a sí mismo aparte de nuestros seres queridos. También sacará a la luz las necesidades de intimidad, de compañía y de solidaridad que no hayan sido satisfechas. Habrá muchos reclamos que hacer al respecto, sin duda alguna... Hay que ver en dónde están las carencias en las relaciones y trabajar para resolverlas. Esto se enfatiza mucho en estos días,  ya que adicionalmente Juno está en paralelo a la Nebulosa Cabeza de Caballo, lo que resalta la necesidad de unirse, formar equipo, de amar, de solidarizarse, tanto a nivel personal como en lo colectivo.

     Sin embargo, antes de alzar la voz para reclamar, hay que tomar en cuenta que el Sol está en conjunción a la estrella Aldebarán y en cuadratura a Quirón y a la Nebulosa de Norteamérica. Es muy fácil manifestar los propios deseos de una manera egocéntrica, pudiendo herir a otros y causar rechazos innecesarios. Para revertir esta tendencia, es posible centrarse en las propias heridas psicológicas y sanarlas a través de la expresión emocional. Lo que no se manifiesta, se queda dentro sin resolver, y la conjunción Sol/Adebarán, con su cualidad altamente emotiva, puede ayudar a que las emociones atoradas fluyan, trayendo un enfoque más optimista.

     Mercurio está en conjunción a la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja y en cuadratura a Marte. La combinación Mercurio/Marte en cuadratura suele coincidir con fricciones en la comunicación, tensiones en la vida cotidiana, accidentes por impulsividad, intolerancia y stress. Hay que evitar a toda costa la agresividad para no generar más violencia y volatilidad de la que ya hay en el medio ambiente... La Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja representa una gran ayuda, ya que, al recibir el tránsito eclíptico de Mercurio, permite a la mente relajarse en un estado de contemplación y pasividad que ayuda a enfriar la agresividad de Marte, que al estar en el signo zodiacal de Virgo, se manifiesta a través de un sentido crítico despiadado y de neurosis de la vida cotidiana, centrada en cosas sin real importancia. Resulta que simultáneamente Marte está en contraparalelo a la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja, lo que ayuda más a tomar una actitud receptiva, serena y reveladora. Es un excelente día para tomar el control de nuestras pequeñas o grandes neurosis y contemplarlas en vez de que nos posean como demonios que nos hacen la vida difícil... ¡Paz y amor!

     

May 28th: Mercury transits the Hyades cluster intensifying desires and emotions; the Sun, Uranus and the Black Eye Galaxy (M64) emphasize and protect individuality

May 28th: Mercury conjunct the Hyades cluster and at 135° from Saturn indicates the need to give a concrete and structured shape to our desires and aspirations. We must make the effort; just taking a contemplative attitude can be frustrating, as we would watch passively all the difficulties and obstacles in our way. It is best to take a practical attitude and start somewhere to accomplish our tasks. Although difficult, this challenge can give very good results. Mercury makes later in the course of the day, a conjunction with the star Aldebaran and is at 150° from Pluto, a combination with more or less the same meaning as the Hyades trend. Aldebaran is one of the most famous stars in the astrological tradition, due to its red glow that can be appreciated with the naked eye. It is actually a giant orange star of type K which stimulates much creativity, emotions and desire. Therefore, it is important to use this combination in a creative way, making necessary changes and above all, getting rid of what we do not need, leaving room for new things. It also makes great emphasis on sexuality. Otherwise, if we let desire and emotions flow without control this trend can lead to scenes of possessiveness, jealousy and power struggles. Mercury also makes a square to Chiron, indicating that desires and emotions can interfere with the clarity of our mind and hinder the healing or learning process. However, it is a therapeutic combination, making us aware of our emotional impulses so we can identify what areas we need to heal. The Sun is also conjunct the Hyades, and in parallel to M64, at 60° from Uranus. This combination represents the possibility of resisting the general trend and maintain individuality. Therefore, it is an excellent day to separate self from others, to participate without compromising our own integrity, to contribute to others while remaining oneself. In some cases, there will be rebellion and resistance to integration in a very stubborn way. But the best is to accept people different from ourselves, and yet be able to interact with them for the benefit of both parties. A big challenge, but not impossible! Even less with Uranus in contra parallel to the Horsehead Nebula. This astrological mix moderates the need to express individuality and gives it a more gentle manifestation, softening rebellion a bit and leaving just the dose needed to avoid being carried away by a collective current.

Mayo 28: Mercurio en conjunción al cúmulo de las Híades y a 135° de Saturno indica la necesidad de darle una forma concreta y estructurada a nuestros deseos y aspiraciones. Pero es necesario hacer el esfuerzo, ya que el tomar una actitud contemplativa puede producir frustración, mientras observamos todas las dificultades y obstáculos que se interponen en nuestro camino. Es mejor tomar una actitud práctica y empezar por algún lado nuestra tarea, que si bien es ardua, puede dar muy buenos resultados. Mercurio hace posteriormente, en el transcurso del día, una conjunción a la estrella Aldebarán y se sitúa a  150° de Plutón, lo cual tiene más o menos el mismo significado que la combinación con las Híades. Aldebarán es una de las estrellas más famosas en la tradición astrológica, debido a su gran brillo de color rojo que puede ser apreciado a simple vista. En realidad es una estrella gigante de color naranja de tipo K que estimula mucho la creatividad, las emociones y también el deseo. Por lo tanto, es importante usar esta combinación de manera creativa, haciendo cambios necesarios y sobre todo, para deshacerse de lo que uno no necesita, dejando lugar a las cosas nuevas. También enfatiza mucho la sexualidad. De otro modo, dejar que el deseo y las emociones fluyan sin control puede desembocar en escenas de posesividad, celos y luchas de poder. Mercurio también hace una cuadratura a Quirón, lo cual indica que los deseos y emociones pueden interferir con la claridad de nuestra mente y dificultar el proceso de curación o aprendizaje. Por lo tanto, es un día excelente para separar lo propio de lo ajeno, de participar sin comprometer la propia integridad, de aportar a los demás sin dejar de ser uno mismo. En algunos casos, habrá rebeldía y resistencias a integrarse, llevando la contra con testarudez. Pero lo mejor es aceptar a personas diferentes a nosotros, y sin embargo, poder convivir con ellas para beneficio de ambas partes. Un reto dífícil, pero no imposible, y menos con Urano en contraparalelo a la Nebulosa Cabeza de Caballo. Esta mezcla astrológica modera la necesidad de manifestar la individualidad y le da un carácter más dócil, suavizando la rebeldía y dejándola en la dosis necesaria para no dejarse llevar por una corriente colectiva.
