February 8/9: New Moon conjunct star cluster M30 points to difficulties in relationships, an enhanced independence, crises in institutions and a return to simplicity

    The February New Moon is in ecliptic conjunction to star cluster M30, located in the constellation of Capricorn. This indicates a time which is convenient to act with lots of independence and freedom, as expectations on commitments can lead to disappointment. What is this all about? M30 is a big cluster, but half of its stars are concentrated at its center, creating an extremely strong pressure that made its gravitational core collapse. This means the loss of a collective organization, of a conditioned order for coexistence... Each star acts individually and not relying on social guidelines: anarchy!

    Star clusters with a collapsed core usually have many collisions between their stars because of the extreme compression they are subject to. But M30 has very few such encounters, which symbolize confrontations; It is as if its stars were indifferent to their companions. In short, M30 means trouble in relating due to excessive independence and indifference.

     The fact that the New Moon falls exactly conjunct M30 reveals the need to work precisely on these two topics: indifference and independence. In some cases, this will reflect situations where people face difficulties to agree on key issues, which can lead to chaos, confusion, resentment and confrontations. That, of course, will happen only if there is no awareness of the implications of this New Moon and one is carried away by a trend that can be channeled constructively. How? Assuming that each person has a different perspective and recognizing the right of everyone to think their own way. There are times when communion and unity among humans is emphasized, but there are others, like this one, which enhance differences and not similarities. In an evolutionary sense, it is an opportunity to have different versions of the same story, so you it is possible to have a complete overview. When everyone thinks alike, details are often overlooked: they would come to light if only there was someone to provide a different perspective.

      In situations under great pressure and a rigid structure, it will be very important to release and act very independently, leaving others to act in the same way without setting any expectations. We must not be in despair, however, as this trend only lasts a month and the cycle will be renewed very soon. This New Moon can therefore be an escape valve to release the pressure caused by too much responsibility. In other words, trying to   control circumstances can be counterproductive. Dominant and controlling personalities are likely to suffer the most, because people will easily escape their control. For those who love to act freely, it can be a time of fruition and plenitude.

       Moreover, this lunar cycle can also be counterproductive in situations that already lack structure, discipline and order, as it enhances chaos and the lack of will to get things done. In these cases, the New Moon indicates a lack of motivation for constructive activities that require concentration. In relationships in general, expecting firm commitments from others is a dangerous bet. Politically and socially, we will witness great crisis within institutions. Differences between people are accentuated: racism, bigotry, misunderstanding, discord, discrimination. This is nothing new, but the New Moon is a great indicator that we have to work conscioulsy into this if we want to evolve.

     Financially, we must be careful too, as M30 is a cluster with very low metallicity, that is, with very little content of elements more complex than hydrogen and helium. This means that the New Moon trend decreases the value of things, and may represent a financial crisis, significant losses and fruitless business. You should wait about a week for this trend to decrease so you can make major purchases and transactions with the assurance that you will not have significant losses

     M30, by its low metallicity, brings us into contact with the really basic, so it is a good time to pay attention and review the material, mental and emotional foundations of our lives. If the base is good, we can build something on it. But if it's not, it's time to simplify things so we don't  complicate further our existence ...

     Will we be able to simplify? Human beings have a natural tendency to complicate situations, but this New Moon, which also marks the start of the year of the Monkey in Eastern astrology (which lets us foresee a very controversial year) is a reminder that humanity has strong pending issues to work on. One of them is the existing discord that is leading to the collapse of our present civilization. It probably has to do with the recognition of the right to be free as opposed to domination or repression. M30 shows clearly that nobody holds an absolute truth, and if that is not obvious enough, simply observe circumstances around you during this month (and perhaps the whole year of the Monkey). What do we do as individuals to improve or worsen the situation?

Febrero 8/9: La Luna Nueva en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M30 indica dificultades en las relaciones, una independencia acentuada, crisis en las instituciones y un regreso a la simplicidad

    La Luna Nueva de Febrero sucede en conjunción eclíptica al cúmulo estelar M30, que se encuentra en la constelación de Capricornio. Esto indica un momento en el cual es conveniente actuar con mucha independencia y libertad, ya que las expectativas puestas en los compromisos pueden  generar decepciones. ¿A qué se debe esto? M30 es un cúmulo muy grande, pero la mitad de sus estrellas están concentradas en su centro, creando una presión tan fuerte que su núcleo gravitatorio ha colapsado. Esto implica la pérdida de una estructura colectiva, de un ordenamiento condicionado por la convivencia... Cada estrella actúa por su cuenta y no en base a los lineamientos sociales.

    Los cúmulos estelares con el núcleo colapsado suelen tener muchas colisiones entre estrellas por la enorme compresión a la cual están sujetas. Pero M30 tiene muy pocos encuentros de este tipo, que simbolizan confrontaciones; es como si sus estrellas fueran indiferentes a sus compañeras. En suma, M30 significa problemas para relacionarse debido a un exceso de independencia y una acentuada indiferencia.

     El hecho de que la Luna Nueva caiga exactamente en conjunción eclíptica a M30 revela la necesidad de trabajar justamente en esos dos temas: indiferencia e independencia. En algunos casos, esto refleja situaciones en las que las personas enfrentarán dificultades para ponerse de acuerdo en asuntos esenciales, lo cual puede provocar caos, confusión, resentimientos y confrontaciones. Eso, por supuesto, si no hay conciencia de lo que implica esta Luna Nueva y uno se deja arrastrar por una tendencia que puede ser canalizada conscientemente. ¿Cómo? Asumiendo que cada persona tiene un punto de vista diferente y reconociendo el derecho de cada quien a pensar a su manera. Hay momentos en los que se enfatiza la comunión y la unificación entre los seres humanos, pero hay otros, como éste, en los que las diferencias cuentan más que las semejanzas. Pero en un sentido evolucionado, es una oportunidad para tener diferentes versiones de la misma historia, de modo que se pueda en síntesis tener una visión completa, global. Cuando todos piensan del mismo modo, frecuentemente se pasan por alto detalles que podrían salir a la luz si hubiera alguien que aporte una perspectiva diferente.

      En situaciones de mucha presión y estructura, será muy importante soltar el control y actuar con mucha independencia, dejando que los demás actúen de la misma manera sin poner expectativas. No hay que impacientarse, pues este efecto sólo dura un mes y el ciclo se renovará muy pronto. Esta Luna Nueva puede entonces ser una válvula de escape que libere la presión producida por el exceso de responsabilidad. En otras palabras, tratar de mantener un rígido control sobre las circunstancias puede resultar contraproducente. Las personalidades dominantes y controladoras son las que sufrirán más, porque los demás se les escaparán de las manos como agua en un colador. Para quienes aman actuar con libertad, puede ser un momento de mucha plenitud.

       Por otra parte, esta lunación puede también ser contraproducente en situaciones que ya de por sí carecen de estructura, disciplina y ordenamiento, ya que acentúa el caos y la falta de voluntad para lograr las cosas. En estos casos, la Luna Nueva indica una falta de motivación para realizar actividades constructivas que requieren concentración. En las relaciones en general, tratar de buscar compromisos firmes o que los demás respondan de una manera determinada es una apuesta peligrosa. Desde el punto de vista político y social, veremos desfilar ante nuestros ojos grandes crisis dentro de las instituciones. Incluso es posible que surjan o se acentúen las diferencias entre la gente: racismo, intolerancia, falta de comprensión, discordia, discriminación. Esto no es nada nuevo pero la Luna Nueva es un gran indicador de que hay que trabajar profundamente en ello si queremos evolucionar.

     Financieramente, hay que tener cuidado también, pues M30 es un cúmulo con muy baja metalicidad, es decir, con muy poco contenido de elementos más complejos que el hidrógeno y el helio. Esto significa que su tendencia es a disminuir el valor de las cosas, y puede representar una crisis económica, pérdidas significativas y negocios poco fructíferos. Es recomendable esperar una semana aproximadamente para que este efecto disminuya y entonces poder hacer transacciones y compras importantes con la seguridad de que no vamos a perder nuestra inversión.

     M30, en virtud de su baja metalicidad,  nos lleva a contactar con lo verdaderamente básico, por lo que es un buen momento para poner atención y revisar las bases materiales, mentales y emocionales de nuestra vida. Si la base está bien, podremos construir sobre ella, pero si no, es el momento de simplificar las cosas para no complicarnos la existencia...

     ¿Seremos capaces de simplificar? El ser humano tiene una tendencia natural a complicar las situaciones, pero esta Luna Nueva, que además inicia el año del Mono en la astrología oriental (y que nos deja vislumbrar un año muy conflictivo) es un recordatorio de que la humanidad tiene pendientes que resolver, y uno de ellos es solucionar la discordia que nos está llevando al colapso de la civilización. Probablemente tenga que ver con el reconocer el derecho a la libertad de los individuos y a dejarlos ser sin querer dominarlos o reprimirlos. M30 nos muestra que nadie tiene la verdad absoluta, y si eso no queda claro, simplemente hay que observar las circunstancias a nuestro alrededor en este mes (y quizás todo el año del Mono). ¿Qué hacemos como individuos para mejorar o empeorar esta situación?

Noviembre 25/26: Luna Llena en contraparalelo a la Nebulosa del Cisne (M17) es una invitación a manifestar y compartir tesoros ocultos

       La Luna Llena es un momento de conciencia, con la superficie de nuestro satélite totalmente iluminada, reflejando la luz del Sol. El objeto celeste al cual apunta la Luna sugiere hacia dónde se dirige la toma de conciencia, y en este caso, se trata de la Nebulosa del Cisne o M17, que se encuentra en la constelación de Sagitario, con la cual hace un contraparalelo. M17 es una nebulosa que contiene un cúmulo estelar en su interior, que la ilumina con gran belleza, pero que no es visible directamente, está bloqueado por las densas nubes de polvo y gas. Por ello, indica recursos ocultos, talentos que necesitan manifestarse, superando obstáculos.

     La Luna Llena  de este mes contribuye a dicha expresión, situándose en contraparalelo a M17, facilitando la comunicación y las relaciones sociales, la lógica y las negociaciones al estar en el signo zodiacal de Géminis. Es pues un excelente momento, cuyo impulso durará aproximadamente una semana, para superar obstáculos en las relaciones, en las finanzas y en los proyectos artísticos. The Solstice and New Moon combine together with the Trifid Nebula and star cluster M9 to bid farewell to 2014 accelerating circumstances and emphasizing the use of power

Solstice and New Moon simultaneous and intense

  The last New Moon of 2014 matches the December solstice. This is a rare phenomenon, two important astronomical events happening almost simultaneously, just two hours apart. This means the beginning of the lunar month and the change of season start at the same time. The fact that two important events are merged into one, so to speak, indicates that the new beginning  is expected to be more intense, going to the roots. Both the next three months may bring drastic changes and /or prodigious renovations. The new trends emerging in this period will tend to be very strong and will become dominant in the near future.

The Trifid Nebula as a protagonist

      This can be better understood if we notice that both the New Moon and the Solstice in December 2014 happen in ecliptic conjunction with the Trifid Nebula (M20). This nebula is in the constellation Sagittarius, and contains several giant stars inside, fighting fiercely for space and creating an intense shade of ultraviolet radiation that erodes much of its cosmic environment. Therefore, astrologically, M20 is associated with a potentially destructive power and a competitive attitude, among other things. Of course, every December solstice the Sun transits the Trifid Nebula, but the fact that the New Moon underlinse this celestial body with its presence at the same point in the sky emphasizes all things related to it: a strong idealism, competitive attitudes, the deployment of great potential, and the use and abuse of force.

      At the international level, the reflection of the warlike character of challenger M20 was last seen on the threats from North Korea to the United States, that came out as the Sun was exiting from the zodiac sign of Sagittarius and entering Capricorn. Obviously, the strongest risk of confrontations in the world is during the current lunar month, which ends on January 20, 2015. The Trifid Nebula is a true "Bullie" that can abuse power, so it is expected that repression and violence in the world will increase, perpetrated by those who identify with the paradigms of power. Undoubtedly, the mafias will show off their power in the next three months, but it is also possible that records will be broken and meaningful and inspiring feat swill happen...


Strength and speed applied to reach goals
 
      On a personal level, it is possible to express this power in a conscious way, avoiding self-centered, competitive, challenging behaviors that can connect us with more violence. To properly channel M20, you have to set goals, preferably difficult to achieve, and under its impulse, stretch and work to achieve them. It is a great time to do things you would not normally do, including difficult or seemingly impossible tasks. However, in a competition, nothing guarantees success, but the effort required to reach the goal can be worthy, although in this case, M20's impulse can take up to three months to bear fruit.

      But three months pass quickly, and in fact, the sense of time can be distorted a bit during this season, as the New Moon is in parallel to star cluster M9, located in the constellation Ophiuchus, and whose high speed (224 kilometers per second) indicates an acceleration of circumstances. We will perceive time flowing faster, but we can also be able to provide solutions to everyday and pending issues in a more fluid manner. Things will get fixed faster in general. The thing to avoid is impatience, which mixed with the confrontational attitude of M20 can generate unnecessary aggression.



       Therefore, it is essential at this turn of the year to have definite goals andto direct our energies towards them. Maybe we can not do much to change the negative manifestations that this solstice / new moon may have on the collective level, but if we are aware of the meaning of M9 and M20, we can definitely use these trends in a constructive way in our environment.

       We face a poignant choice: to get into the ring to fight or to work on our personal challenges to grow. Believe me, in the coming weeks, sometime it won't be easy to distinguish one from the other .But the results may be worth it!

May 30/31: Ceres, Neptune and the Eskimo Nebula show individual solutions for complicated problems, while Mercury and Mars hurry to finish pending issues before changing signs

May 30/31: Ceres is in ecliptic conjunction with the Eskimo Nebula, and at 135° from Neptune. This is an interesting combination that, if used properly, can lead to a better application of resources. Ceres represents a provider, and nourishment. Neptune symbolizes persons in need, situations that require support, whereas the 135° angle (a sesquisquare) indicates the consequences of our actions. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate strategically the way we provide help, the repairs we need to do, and the right formula to correct negligence or chaos.

     Here, the Eskimo Nebula can be revealing, too. It is a very complex planetary nebula, a dying star in the constellation Gemini. Its complex, peculiar structure suggests that the best way to approach situations in general is taking into account its uniqueness, the very specific and personal factors behind. To apply general rules to a specific case may be a bit tough and may not help to find adequate solutions. The Eskimo Nebula also means complications, due to its complex structure, so certain situations may get more embroiled instead of improving. If you see things get more complicated, just stop and try to postpone things until next week, if possible. But taking into account the individuality of each case will bring great success.Things to avoid under the Ceres/Neptune combination: exhaustion of resources, abuse, martyr/sacrifice attitudes. It's time to overcome these and any other obstacles!

     You may also use, for that purpose, the other combination happening today, the semisextile between Mars and Mercury, which puts some extra energy into everyday life (but also represents impulsive spending, which is to avoid). Both planets are about to change zodiac signs, so they are hurrying to finish their present duties before they can switch their interest to other things. Do the same, and you will have success!

May 27/28: The Sun, Saturn and M80 show the need to relax control, as Mercury, Jupiter and the Great Orion Nebula (M42) generate mental creativity and over scheduling

May 27/28: The Sun is opposed to star cluster M80 and at 150° from Saturn. This astrological combination represents the need to relieve excessive pressure in the area of work, family or social commitments. How can this be inferred? M80 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Scorpius, and is one of the more gravitationally compressed clusters in our galaxy. This results in less space between the stars that compose M80. They often pass very close to each other so the friction is strong enough to strip the stars from their outer layers. These kind of stars that have been stripped of their atmospheres, as if they had taken their clothes off, are called "blue stragglers", as the core of the star, which is exposed, glows in blue due to its high temperature.

     Thus, M80 symbolizes intense relationships, which can have a strong influence, usually caused by social pressure, symbolized by the cluster's gravitational force. But today the Sun opposes M80, giving the notion of equilibrium, to go in the opposite direction escaping excessive control, either releasing controlling attitudes or throwing them off. Of course, this may result in guilt, for Saturn is involved with the Sun through a quincunx (150° angle). The commitments that involve a lot of stress fit into this category, so in some cases it is best to negotiate, or perhaps postponing what can not be resolved easily, or finding alternative solutions to things.

      What we shouldn't do, definitely, is to let excessive stress, whether it comes from work, from family or partners, friends, community, institutions or our own brain to dominate the environment, because that would be going against the general trend. Even in circumstances of great pressure and responsibility, it is possible to find a more relaxed dynamic, cutting unnecessary excesses. On the other hand, in contexts where discipline is required, you might find new procedures to achieve more with less effort. In terms of relationships, you may need to step back and take a little rest from controlling and dominant personalities. In case we identify this behavior in ourselves, this is positive as long as we make it conscious and stop. Avoid clashes with people and rather use the firm control represented by M80 and Saturn to structure messy or inconsistent areas. This will bring better results than fighting! In this way, resting after a disciplined activity will feel much better.

     Not everything is conflict today, though: Mercury, Jupiter and the Great Orion Nebula (M42) are in conjunction, indicating a very good time to travel physically or mentally, for issues related to education, information, communication, and mental creativity. Today, excellent ideas may be conceived and developed and it is possible to access a wealth of valuable information. This trend is complementary to the previous one since it indicates an optimistic mindset, pushing the boundaries beyond limitations. You can conceive great ideas and have significant advances in information and intellectual issues. But M42 is an extremely fertile area of the galaxy, and it tends to draw a lot of attention. So, think about how much you can really give of your time and resources, because under a M42 trend there's always too many things to do. If you let yourself to get caught among responsibilities and commitments you'l end up end up getting stuck and exhausted... It is best to select what is most important, and limit our activities to that; it is better to have a few achievements rather than everything half-done ...

Mayo 27/28: El Sol a 150° de Saturno y en oposición al cúmulo estelar M80.  Esta combinación astrológica representa la necesidad de liberar la presión excesiva en el área del trabajo, la familia o los compromisos sociales. ¿Cómo puede deducirse esto? M80 es un cúmulo globular situado en la constelación de Scorpius, y se trata de uno de los cúmulos más comprimidos gravitatoriamente en nuestra galaxia. Esto trae como resultado menos espacio entre las estrellas que lo componen. Éstas pasan muy cerca las unas de las otras y frecuentemente los roces son tan cercanos que las estrellas pierden sus capas exteriores. Estas estrellas que han sido desprovistas de su atmósfera, como si se les hubiera quitado la ropa, han sido denominadas "rezagadas azules", pues el núcleo de la estrella, que queda al descubierto, brilla en color azul debido a su alta temperatura.

     De este modo, M80 simboliza relaciones intensas, que pueden tener una fuerte influencia, normalmente provocada por la presión social, que es representada por la fuerza gravitatoria del cúmulo. Pero hoy el Sol se opone a M80, dando la noción de equilibrio, de ir en el sentido opuesto y salir del control, ya sea soltando actitudes controladoras o zafándose de ellas. Por supuesto, esto puede provocar cierta culpa, pues Saturno está involucrado con el Sol en una relación de quincuncio (150°). Los compromisos que impliquen mucha tensión entrarán en esta dinámica, y lo mejor es negociar, quizás postergando lo que no se pueda resolver fácilmente, o encontrando soluciones alternativas a las cosas.

      Lo que sí no se debe hacer, definitivamente, es dejar que la presión en el trabajo, de parte de familiares o pareja, de amistades, de la comunidad, instituciones o de nuestra propia personalidad domine el ambiente, porque ahí estaríamos yendo en contra de la tendencia general. Aún en circunstancias de mucha actividad y responsabilidad, es posible encontrar una dinámica más relajada, cortando excesos innecesarios. Por otro lado, en contextos donde se requiera disciplina, es posible encontrar un orden que permita lograr más con menos esfuerzo. Pero en el plano de las relaciones, quizás sea necesario tomar distancia para descansar de personalidades controladoras y dominantes. Y si identificamos esta conducta en nosotros mismos, traerá grandes beneficios el hacerlo consciente y modificarlo posteriormente. Eviten los roces y usen el firme control de M80 y Saturno para ordenar y estructurar áreas desordenadas o inconsistentes. ¡Esto traerá mejores resultados que luchar con nuestros semejantes! Y así, el descanso después de una actividad disciplinada se sentirá mejor.

     Pero no todo es conflicto: Mercurio, Júpiter y la Gran Nebulosa de Orión (M42) están en conjunción, indicando un muy buen momento para viajar física o mentalmente, para cuestiones relacionadas con estudios, información, comunicación además de una gran creatividad mental. Hoy pueden concebirse y desarrollarse excelentes ideas y  es posible  acceder a una gran cantidad de información valiosa. Esta tendencia es complementaria a la anterior ya que indica una disposición mental al desarrollo, optimista y sobrepasando los límites. Se pueden concebir grandes ideas y tener avances en cuestiones de información e intelectuales. Pero M42 es una zona extremadamente fértil de la galaxia, y que tiende a llamar mucho la atención. Por ello, piensen cuánto pueden realmente dar de su tiempo y recursos, porque bajo la tendencia de M42 siempre hay demasiadas cosas qué hacer. Si se llenan de responsabilidades y compromisos demandantes, acabarán atascándose y exhaustos... Es mejor seleccionar lo que sea más importante, y limitarse a ello, ya que es mejor que salgan algunas cosas bien que todas a medias...

February 14/15: The Sun, Saturn and galaxy M66 manage disturbed situations, while Pallas corrects the instability of star cluster M3. Mars, Pluto and cluster M50 help materialize great ideas

February 14/15: The Sun is in parallel to Saturn and contra parallel to the spiral galaxy M66. The Sun and Saturn are combined in a powerful parallel whose duration can be up to 48 hours. This union represents an organizational tendency, very useful to re-structure and re-order what has been modified by external influences. The contacts and events of recent weeks might have been enriching, but also may have disturbed a personal routine. This is therefore the time to restore the balance, bringing order where there is neglect or chaos and build a structure where there isn't one. in some cases, we will find ourselves classifying what we have received from our relationships in recent weeks. This is inferred from the galaxy M66, located in the constellation of Leo, whose structure has been altered by intensive contacts with neighboring galaxies. This mix also adds a touch of seriousness, but no less commitment, to Valentine's day celebration in western countries. And of course,  inescapable social and work commitments will abound everywhere.

     Palas is at 150° from Saturn and at 45° from the Sun, and opposed to star cluster M3. Just as the mix Sun / Saturn is useful to reach some balance, the opposition between Pallas and cluster M3 can be very useful for fixing situations or objects that have manifested instability or do not work any more. This is suggested by the presence of M3, a cluster with a large number of variable stars, whose brightness is unstable. This favors all kinds of repairs, but especially of old things. On the other hand, is an excellent time to effectively organize or loose chaotic situations, and to find justice and control in excesses caused by human beings and civilization. Hopefully! Today, making our our small contribution to the world will pay off...

     On February 15th, Mars is sextile (60 °) Pluto, and in parallel to star cluster M50. The combination of Mars with M50 represents a great amount of energy applied to materialize ideas. M50 is a cluster located in the constellation of Monoceros, the Unicorn, whose most prominent stars are type B and A. This suggests a need to materialize ideas, and help from Mars is invaluable in this regard, so get to work now! Any advance in our plans will be good in this couple of days, but this trend will remain in the background, still considerably stronger until the weekend. Pluto puts the transforming touch, so that gains are substantial, through a sextile which incites to activity.

     Finally, it is worth saying that the planetary picture that  formed with the Vernal Point as midpoint of Pluto and Ceres, will continue until February 16th. In fact it has been in place for about a month... This represents experiences of material or emotional release, releasing addictions, attachments of various types, or even experience the death of someone close. Furthermore, the combination Pluto + Ceres =  Vernal Point  also implies a subsequent regeneration, which corresponds with natural cycles. While this process happens all the time, there are periods like this one when  this is intensified.  It is better to let go and surrender to a process involving a renaissance, with another form, but with the same essence, in a new life cycle. This is strong ... but also great if we conduct the regenerative process in a conscious way.

Febrero 14/15: El Sol, Saturno y la Galaxia M66 arreglan situaciones perturbadas, mientras Palas corrige la inestabilidad del cúmulo estelar M3. Marte, Plutón y el cúmulo M50 ayudan a materializar grandes ideas.

Febrero 14/15: El Sol está en paralelo a Saturno y en contraparalelo a la galaxia espiral M66. El Sol y Saturno se combinan en un potente paralelo cuya duración puede ser de hasta 48 horas. Esta unión representa una tendencia organizativa, sumamente útil para estructurar y ordenar lo que ha sido modificado por influencias externas. Los contactos  y eventos de las últimas semanas pueden resultar enriquecedores, pero a la vez haber perturbado una rutina personal. Éste es pues el momento de reestablecer el equilibrio, poniendo orden donde haya descuido, estructura donde haya caos y en algunos casos, clasificando lo que hemos recibido de nuestras relaciones. Esto se infiere del contraparalelo a la galaxia M66, situada en la constelación de Leo, y cuya estructura ha sido alterada por contactos intensos con sus galaxias vecinas. Esta mezcla también le da un toque de seriedad, pero no menos compromiso, al día del amor y la amistad. Eso sí, abundarán los compromisos sociales y laborales ineludibles.

     Palas a 150° de Saturno y a 45° del Sol, en oposición al cúmulo estelar M3. Así como la mezcla Sol/Saturno es útil para equilibrar, la oposición de Palas al cúmulo M3 puede ser muy útil para componer situaciones u objetos con una tendencia inestable. Esto es sugerido por la presencia de M3, que es un cúmulo con una gran cantidad de estrellas variables, cuyo brillo es inestable. Esto favorece todo tipo de reparaciones, pero especialmente de cosas antiguas. Por otro lado, es un excelente momento para organizar efectivamente situaciones caóticas o flojas, y también para encontrar justicia y control en excesos causados por el ser humano y su civilización. ¡Enhorabuena! Hoy vale la pena hacer nuestra pequeña aportación al respecto...

     El día 15 Marte se sitúa en sextil ( 60°) a Plutón, en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M50. La combinación de Marte con M50 representa una gran cantidad de energía aplicada a materializar ideas. M50 es un cúmulo que se encuentra en la constelación de Monoceros, el Unicornio y cuyas estrellas más prominentes son de tipo B y A. Esto sugiere una necesidad de materializar ideas, y la ayuda de Marte es invaluable en este sentido, así que ¡manos a la obra! Cualquier avance en nuestros planes será bueno en este par de días, aunque esta tendencia quedará en el trasfondo, todavía considerablemente fuerte hasta el fin de semana. Plutón pone el toque transformador, para que los avances sean sustanciales y de fondo, con su sextil que incita a la actividad.

     Finalmente, no está de más decir que la figura planetaria que se ha formado con el Punto Vernal como punto medio de Plutón y Ceres, continuará vigente hasta el día 16. De hecho ha estado vigente desde hace un mes... Esto representa experiencias de pérdida material o emocional, de desprendimiento, de soltar apegos de varios tipos, o incluso, de experimentar la muerte de alguien cercano. Por otro lado, la combinación Ceres + Plutón= Punto Vernal también representa una regeneración posterior, que corresponde con ciclos naturales. Si bien este proceso sucede todo el tiempo, hay momentos en los que, como éste, se intensifica, y es mejor dejar ir y entregarse a un proceso que implica un renacimiento, con otra forma, pero con la misma esencia, en un nuevo ciclo de vida. Fuerte... pero regenerador si sabemos conducir el proceso.

December 17/18: Mercury and Jupiter aligned with Aldebaran and Antares indicate opportunities to materialize projects, travel, good business, to improve our mood ... and overspend

December 17/18: Mercury in contra parallel and in opposition to Jupiter, conjunct star cluster M4. The fleeting passage of Mercury in ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M4  can revive good, perhaps unfinished, old projects, ... M4 contains one of those rare pulsars or neutron stars that resurrect through a close contact with another star, with which it forms a couple. The interaction revives the pulsar and makes it rotate at a rate even higher than it was before their new partnership. Hence Mercury, in its M4 transit, can relive past projects that promise to develop positively. Mercury begins to make its annual conjunction to the star Antares in the constellation Scorpio, a red giant that has a definite effect on the material plane, either in the physical body, our economy or our immediate environment.

     Mercury has a natural association with trade and negotiations, and the contact with Antares, a  particularly gigantic star, can represent good opportunities for development and strength in the financial plane. It is possible to do excellent business, to achieve great sales and enriching exchanges, so we must not lose the opportunity to be involved in them if we can. Financial activity is greatly increased in the holiday season! But this trend must be used carefully to avoid impulsive spending.

     On the other side of the sky, Jupiter is forming an opposition to Mercury, although only really accurate for a few hours. Jupiter is in turn associated with Mercury's zodiac sign, Gemini, indicating that this opposition can bring a positive exchange, because as bis as Antares is, Jupiter is the champion planetary size in our solar system . Further, Jupiter has been conjunct for several days to the star Aldebaran in the constellation Taurus, traditionally named "the eye of the Bull". Aldebaran is an orange giant, but not as big as Antares. It stands out visually by its color and astrologically by its tendency to emphasize both emotions and material productivity. Jupiter, which tends to optimize things, indicates a good opportunity to raise the disturbing emotions and see the positive side of life despite all the destruction in the world. Look for joy and share it with those who need it!

     Antares and Aldebaran are located on opposite sides of the celestial sphere, so the ancients saw them as always confronted with one another. This, coupled with their reddish and orange glow, became a symbol of struggle, war, confrontation. Hence the name Antares, which means "the antagonist", in this case of Aldebaran. The current astronomy reveals the large size of both, especially of Antares, and its reddish color comes from its relatively low temperature compared to other stars. Red stars have a relationship with the most basic functions of human experience, such as survival, health, sexuality, emotions, and money.

      All this mixed in an unstructured way during the holiday season may end up emptying our pockets, but  we can fill them full instead if we are in the right place. Jupiter is the Santa Claus among our planets, and while its optimistic euphoria can make us spend impulsively, do not let go this oportunity.Through the Aldebaran-Antares channel, we can obtain advances in several areas of our life. These may include studies, short or long trips (to plan them and undertake them), excellent business, an increase in productivity, a positive sexual expression, improved emotional states ... But due to the confrontational nature that can this astrological combination can have- these stars are opposites in the sky after all, it is best to avoid open sincerity, impulsive comments, verbal rawness, which can easily occur with the combination  Mercury / Jupiter.

      Of course, there will be cases where assertiveness will be necessary to clarify things, but there there is always the risk that this will cause a confrontation. To get the most out of this combination, better double check that you are up to the situation, that you have a balanced exchange with people with whom you are interacting. Transform any possible confrontation in integration, in complementary views, a balance, a harmonious pact that can bring benefits for all those involved. But that, it's up to us, not to the stars.

     A sugerencia de algunos de los lectores de la Guía Galáctica, introducimos un calendario de las principales fases lunares, que son los momentos más cruciales durante el mes. Las tendencias indicadas en el momento en el que suceden son vigentes durante una semana, hasta la siguiente fase y representan la atmósfera general sobre la cual suceden otros eventos astrológicos indicados en la Galactic Guide. La Luna es el astro más cercano a nosotros y cuyo ciclo es más rápido, representando el flujo de nuestra vida cotidiana. Ahora, con este calendario, es posible ver las conexiones de nuestra vida cotidiana con los objetos de espacio profundo, como galaxias, nebulosas, cúmulos estelares, supernovas y otros. Esperamos que sea de su agrado y que les ayude a fluir o entender la atmósfera del momento y los eventos que están relacionados con ella. Cada tendencia es vigente por aproximadamente 7 días.

Fases Lunares Julio/Agosto 2012

Cuarto creciente: se da a los 3°46' del signo de Escorpio, el 26 julio 2012 a las 8 h56 am UT - El cuarto creciente sucede en conjunción a la galaxia M83, llamada también el Molino Austral y que es una de las galaxias con más producción estelar conocidas - Esto implica un momento (una semana) de gran creatividad,  en la que surgen nuevas ideas, nuevos proyectos, y hay  una tendencia a reestructurar, a revalorar, a reorganizar. Lo que hay que evitar es el exceso de responsabilidades si uno se involucra en demasiadas actividades.


Luna Llena - Sucede en los 10°15' del signo de Acuario, el 2 de Agosto 2012  a las 3h27 AM UT - Esta Luna Llena sucede en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M107. Este cúmulo es disperso y está oscurecido por polvo interestelar en varias partes. Esto representa un momento en el que surge una clara conciencia de los problemas causados por dispersión, por negligencia o por falta de recursos o atención.  Es posible que se revelen y hagan visibles algunos problemas ocultos, mostrando la vía de superación de obstáculos, ya que los problemas vienen con sus soluciones también. Es un momento de comunión, de unión con gente que nos amplía el panorama, y que nos aporta información. Esta Luna Llena favorece la unión de las masas también, por lo que es una semana de unión ideológica a gran escala...

Cuarto menguante - Sucede a los 17° 34' del signo zodiacal de Tauro el 9 de Agosto 2012 a las 6h54 p.m. UT - Este cuarto menguante hace una oposición al cúmulo globular M5, un cúmulo grande , antiguo, con muchas estrellas variables que hacen pensar en inestabilidad y prejuicios... - Ya que el cuarto menguante implica una ruptura con el pasado,  es un momento de renovación de ideas, de enfoques que ya no funcionan. Es una semana para romper prejuicios, realizar actualizaciones, implementar cambios de estrategias. Por otro lado, hay la tendencia a vivir rechazos por esta actitud renovadora, pero lo importante es seguir el propio camino con fuerza, para no estancarse en vías rutinarias o demasiado conocidas.

Luna nueva - Sucede a los 25°08' del signo zodiacal de Leo, el 17 agosto 2012  a las 3h54 PM UT. El inicio del ciclo Lunar está en oposición a M2, un cúmulo con una órbita muy inclinada al ecuador galáctico, lo que representa un camino individual, original. - Es un momento de creatividad,en el cual pueden surgir y realizarse  planes armónico. Se diseñan y llevan a cabo estrategias con diversas personas, es recomendable trabajar y actuar en grupo. También representa una productividad aumentada, gracias a la integración de gentes y aspectos dispersos o que no se tomaban en cuenta. Es favorable pues integrar las fórmulas originales y ponerlas a funcionar para el beneficio de todos

Julio 17: Marte en conjunción a las Galaxias Antena, en cuadratura a Plutón y al cúmulo estelar M25

Marte hace una conjunción eclíptica a las Galaxias Antena, reforzando la estación de Urano que sucedió apenas hace unos días en oposición a este choque galáctico. Esto promete tener una fuerte influencia en nuestras relaciones, y junto con la cuadratura a Plutón, las pone a prueba para regenerarlas, cambiar de objetivos y lograr mejores uniones, tanto en lo personal como en lo colectivo.

Venus termina su retrogradación en conjunción al cúmulo de las Híades, en la constelación de Tauro, enfatizando las emociones, los deseos y la creatividad.

La estación directa de Venus 2012. Venus ha venido desplazándose hacia atrás desde hace varias semanas -por supuesto es una ilusión óptica, pero significativa astrológicamente.  El 28 de Junio se detiene en conjunción a las estrellas Híades para retomar su movimiento directo, haciendo que el evento esté relacionado con el significado simbólico de las Híades: expresión emocional, del deseo y de la creatividad.

     Esto tiene una relación directa con nuestra vida emocional, sexual y afectiva, pues las Híades son estrellas que estimulan las emociones, y el deseo. La estación directa de Venus sobre estas estrellas representa también una oportunidad de manifestar la creatividad y de sublimar nuestros impulsos a través del arte, ya sea como espectadores o como actores.

Acerca del uso de la Guía Galáctica

     Para los lectores de la Guía Galáctica en Europa/Asia/Australia: las fechas indicadas se refieren al día siguiente en su zona del mundo. Por ejemplo, si la Guía Galáctica se refiere al día 10, en Europa/Asia/Australia se toma en cuenta el día 11.

     De todos modos, las tendencias que se describen aquí tienen normalmente una vigencia mínima de dos días, que son los tránsitos de Mercurio y Venus. Otras pueden ser más prolongadas, como los eclipses o las estaciones de los planetas, que pueden ir de un mes hasta seis meses... Así que los eventos relacionados con dichas tendencias pueden manifestarse en cualquier momento unos días antes o después de la fecha indicada en la Guía Galáctica.
