Venus is square the Lunar Nodes and in ecliptic conjunction to The Box, a group of 4 galaxies in the constellation Coma Berenices. This may be the most powerful combination of the day and certainly refers to the structure that we must give to our social life. arranging our schedule and coordinating our relations in all areas to achieve what we want. September 4: No exact combinations that are significant among the major planets and asteroids in the solar system happen today. However, it is worth noting the exact parallel between the North Lunar Node and the Trifid Nebula (M20), The North Lunar Node represents a way forward to continue evolving, and the stars and objects that it makes contact with in its movement through the zodiac are indicators of that direction. At this end of summer / winter 2011, it's up to the Trifid Nebula to define the evolutive trend of the moment. What is it about?

Powerful Creativity

     The Trifid Nebula is one of the most interesting objects in our galaxy, primarily for its visual appeal. It is one of the most beautiful nebulae known, because it is actualy a combination of a reflection nebula, which shines blue, with an emission nebula gowing in pink, so that in the spectrum of visible light has a special appeal. Dense clouds of dust obscure and cross its center dividing it into three zones, hence the name Trifid, meaning "in three parts." In these dark clouds stars are being born, and recently there have been discovered many protostars in them, embryonic stars not seen in visible light but only in the infrared due to their strong thermal emission.      This creativity is not always very positive, or in any case, it has elements that are potentially destructive. At the center of the nebula, where the dark clouds converge, there is a multiple star system of high temperature, all stars orbiting around each other. The star responsible for lighting most of M20 is an extremely hot star of type 07, whose intense radiation erodes and destroys many of the stellar embryos around. The survival of the fittest is applied relentlessly in the Trifid Nebula . Thus, astrologically corresponds to fierce competitions, with power and ideological struggles.


A ruthless nebula, but also fertile and intellectual

     The position of the Trifid Nebula in the constellation Sagittarius, and the high temperature of the stars at its center suggests an association with trascendant issues, with social, political, religious ideologies  as well as scientific knowledge. No one could think of the Trifid as a symbol of superficiality, but the extremist trend also suggests the imposition of ideas, fanaticism, ideological prejudices that become more important than the reality of the moment ... Such a power also requires restraint and dosage ...

     Thus,the North Lunar Node transit on the Trifid Nebula, which is valid from August 3rd to September 28, 2011, invites us to develop our best qualities, highlighting our own creative potential .. It's good to focus on projects incubating in the month of September. However, this can also come with a tendency to become self-centered, dominant and impositive. On the other hand, in order to evolve, as required by North Lunar Node, sometimes we have to rely on our beliefs to keep moving on. Of course, if they do not interfere with the development of others. August 31st: The North Lunar Node and the Trifid Nebula stimulate higher thinking. Mercury helps them to express it, but we must avoid extremist attitudes.

August 31st: The North Lunar Node in parallel to the Trifid Nebula (M20), trine to Mercury. Now that the fastest planet in the solar system has resumed its forward motion, it begins to manifest the power of thought and communication with intensity. It is an ideal time to expose our ideas and promote them. This combination favors research, studies and the expansion of our mental horizon. The expression of beliefs and philosophies will cause a strong impact on others. Choose the right audience! There will be undoubtedly eloquent speeches these days, as wel as shocking news, cutting-edge scientific information, and so on... However, the tendency is to go to extremes and may end up in fanaticism, biased opinions, the imposition of concepts by force. In politics, competition will be fierce and merciless, but at a personal level, we can handle this trend with consciousness and respect, as the purpose is to express in order to teach and listen in order to learn.

August 6th: Vesta conjunct the Small Magellanic Cloud gives us the opportunity to concentrate on our own field of action

August 6th: Vesta in parallel to the North Lunar Node and conjunct the Small Magellanic Cloud. This combination of asteroid, node and galaxy indicates a special trend to focus on personal issues. It is best to limit our actions to the personal environment, and focus on concrete goals in order not to disperse energy. This is more useful than doing several things at once and looking for activities outside our own field of action. The Small Magellanic Cloud is a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way and represents a certain tendency to isolation, but Vesta gives it a positive and productive connotation today thanks to her qualities of concentration. Don't be disperse!
Chiron at 30° from Pallas is excellent for medical diagnostics and application of therapies of all kinds. However, it is necessary to adapt theory to physical reality,  treatments should not be forced upon a body (or mind) that does not seem to react positively...

This combination suggests a delicate planning, attention to detail and then it is good for doing difficult tasks. On the other hand, it is necessary to avoid pessimism and negative interpretations of reality. Even more with Mars at 135° from Pallas, which needs a well directed energy to focus once strategies are well planned. With a constructive attitude we can achieve great results. In addition, the quincunx Neptune/Sun promotes dispersion, evasion, but also mental creativity and art appreciation. In this way, evasion will be worth it, since it is done through something creative. But the Sun is also trine to Ceres, which opens a channel of productivity in the material plane and represents mutually supportive relationships. This aspect is good for  business, to deal with housework, to improve performance at work, to have a healthy nutrition, for taking care of the garden, animals, children, cooking and provide a nourishing and caring attitude to others. As everything has its opposite, this combination can generate dependency, itsw better to stay autonomous most of the time ... it is the right thing.

July 15th: A day on which it is necessary to have flexibility and be adaptable to circumstances. Of course, only if one wants to flow more smoothly ... This promises a productive and satisfying day, and is a good choice considering the tensions that can occur on the outside. Moreover, the Moon makes an ecliptic  transit to the star cluster M75, reinforcing the trend to be away from others or the hustle bustle.

The Moon's South Node in ecliptic conjunction with the Orion Nebula reactivates past resources

     On July 17th, 2011, the axis of the Lunar Nodes will be in an ecliptic alignment with M42, known as the Great Orion Nebula. This event is of great astrological importance as it indicates the reactivation of existing resources, probably latent, stagnant or unused. In times of great crisis in the world, especially after the last solar eclipse, it is always comforting to know where exits are located as well as incentives for development. This combination of nodes and nebula is definitely one of them.

The importance of the Nodal axis

     The axis of the nodes of the moon (they are opposite points in the sky) has always been considered an important indicator for development whether in ancient or modern astrology. It symbolizes a flow between past, present and future, marks the evolutionary path in a chart, either for a person or a situation. The nodal axis, as it is called, represents the dynamic quality of our development, its orientation, and the background in which transcendent or routinary experiences take place every day. Therefore, the contacts this nodal axis makes with planets, asteroids, stars, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters are important and indicate the different shapes of our own evolution and the events we experience.

    The South Node (also called the Dragon's Tail) represents the past and experience, while the North Node (the Dragon Head) symbolizes the future, and the things we must strive for in order to have further development. For that reason, it is sometimes erroneously assumed that contacts from planets to the South Node always point out a tendency towards involution. But evolution is in our hands, and the result depends on how we use our resources. In this July 2011, the South Node makes an ecliptic conjunction with the Orion Nebula, one of the most creative places of our galaxy, and this is certainly an indicator of fertility that we have at our disposal to continue our way, as individuals and as a species. The transit is made by the South Node, suggesting, for example, that we can reactivate pre-established relationships or projects that were started earlier and have been waiting for better times to be implemented.

The Great Orion Nebula as a symbol of abundance and fertility

     M42, Messier 42, or NGC1976, the astronomical labels of the Great Nebula in Orion, is a huge cloud of hydrogen which is actually forming lots of stars. The nebula can be seen with the naked eye as a patch of diffuse light below the 3 stars that form Orion's belt. Due to the large amount of thermal energy generated by star formation, it is a bright object in the infrared, indicating an abundance of material resources at the astrological level. It is also bright in the ultraviolet, which translates into intellectual resources, information, knowledge. The Orion Nebula is a cosmic womb, full of fertility, which indicates, among other things, the generation of ideas, business relationships, and great possibilities whether material, social or intellectual.
