October 8/9: Mercury ends its retrograde phase in ecliptic conjunction to galaxy M86 and parallel to galaxy M77, indicating limitations to communication, great business deals, a distorted sense of time, control of information worldwide .. . demonstrations and many more manifestations! Which one do you connect with?

     Virtually every time Mercury is retrograde we find difficulties in communication and everyday life, especially around the days when it stops and seems to change direction. However, on reaching the end of its most recent retrograde phase, Mercury seems to indicate a strong tendency to mental acceleration, given its ecliptic conjunction with galaxy M86. This galaxy, located in the Virgo cluster, has a peculiar velocity of 419 kilometers per second, one of the fastest galaxies in that group. This acceleration is caused by the enormous gravitational pressure exerted on M86 from other galaxies in the Virgo cluster. M86 is literally in a cosmic "roller coaster", plunging toward the center of the cluster at high speed.

     The fact that Mercury makes its direct station conjunct M86  indicates the possibility of being subject to strong pressure from our social, family or work environments. These can have an accelerating effect, but to prevent stress, we must change our inner perception and begin to manage time differently. Celestial objects traveling fast through space distort the sense of time, making things seem to develop slower, when in reality it is our mind that is accelerated. Some may perceive the opposite, as if having a very slow pace with circumstances around going faster, and events succeeding one after another ...

     Anyway, Mercury, in its direct station, points to M86, showing that if we accelerate our pace is possible to anticipate certain circumstances ahead of time. In any case, we should be aware of these differences between calendar time and our inner clock, which can be accentuated during these couple of days and cause misunderstandings and complications.

      But there's more: M86 also indicates losses and suggests letting go what we do not need. The high speed of this galaxy causes a strong friction with the intergalactic medium, which has stripped M86 of a huge amount of hydrogen, element needed to make more stars. On the other hand, life becomes much lighter when you release your stuff... Undoubtedly, this feature corresponds astrologically with a tendency to suffer losses, so it is important not to take financial risks, avoid impulse purchases and take safety measures with our items or important values and make sure they ​​are under safekeeping. In a positive sense, it can also be good to release objects, people, emotions, ideas or situations that are not suitable for us anymore. To release the past is in itself a liberation, and psychologically, is one of the best manifestations that this Mercury station may have, if we follow M86's example...

    Internationally, the strong gravitational pressure exerted on other galaxies M86 indicates a susceptibility to social pressure. Mercury, the main significator of communication, is exposed to high pressures, which clearly coincide with the attempt to control and regulate information at a global level represented by the new Transpacific treaty. Mercury stationary in alignment with M86 is sending us a warning signal, an indicator of the dangers of manipulation and control which will of communication and information management in the world, which threatens individual human rights. On the other hand, perhaps this combinatio also refers to changes caused by pressure from many people on specific humanitarian  causes. It's a great time to support, promote and sign important petitions! Lots of protests are also likely!

     Of course, these petitions and demonstrations will be noticeable, because Mercury is also in an almost exact parallel with galaxy M77, a highly energetic, huge spiral galaxy, which is very bright in radio. This indicates a great need for expression and communication, already Mercury's specialty. But enormous M77, located in the constellation of Cetus, covers a lot of space, indicating a tendency to an egocentric need for communication, trying to draw other people's attention at all costs or to invade their space. The best way to channel positively this trend, however, is to promote ideas and projects we want others to see, or be taken into account. The size of M77 will do the rest: it just cannot be ignored... Promote your good ideas!

     On the other hand, the Mercury/M77 mix is excellent for finance, as M77 is also very bright in the infrared, which symbolizes the material basis of life. Mercury rules treaties, trade and exchange, so that, despite the typical complicated conditions of Mercury stationary, in many cases it may be good for the economy. In that way, Mercury's station also brings abundance, but we need to decide whether it is the abundance of attention needed by our ego that or one that can productively promote good plans and projects. Good business is likely!

     As you see, Mercury station is an astrological event that brings many possible manifestations. Depending on our approach, personal vision and position in particular circumstances, we can connect with one of them, or more. Now that you know the most important ones, you can at least see and decide if you like the frequency that you're connected with or not ... The goal is to be able to use this astronomical/astrological phenomenon to our advantage, because  anyway it will cause everyday problems. Somehow we have to use it in our favor!

Octubre 8/9: Mercurio termina su retrogradación en conjunción eclíptica a la galaxia M86 y en paralelo a la galaxia M77, indicando limitaciones a la comunicación, grandes negocios, distorsiones en el sentido del tiempo, un control de la información a nivel internacional... ¡y muchas manifestaciones más! ¿Con cuál se conectan ustedes?

     Prácticamente todas las retrogradaciones de Mercurio coinciden con dificultades en la comunicación y la vida cotidiana, especialmente alrededor de los días en que se detiene y aparece cambiar de dirección. Sin embargo, al llegar final de su más reciente retrogradación, Mercurio parece indicar una fuerte tendencia al aceleramiento mental, dada su conjunción eclíptica con la galaxia M86. Esta galaxia, que se encuentra en el cúmulo de la constelación de Virgo, tiene una peculiar velocidad de 419 kilómetros por segundo, una de las galaxias más veloces. Este aceleramiento es producido por la enorme presión que ejercen las otras galaxias del cúmulo de Virgo sobre M86, que está literalmente en una "montaña rusa", bajando en picada hacia el centro del cúmulo.

     El hecho de que Mercurio se estacione en conjunción a M86 indica la posibilidad de ser sujetos a una fuerte presión por parte de nuestros compromisos sociales, familiares o de trabajo. Éstos pueden tener un efecto acelerador, pero para evitar que éste sea estresante, es preciso que nuestra mente cambie de frecuencia y comience a percibir el tiempo de otra manera. Los objetos celestes que viajan muy rápido por el espacio distorsionan el sentido del tiempo en su manifestación astrológica, haciendo parecer que las cosas son más lentas, cuando en realidad es nuestra mente la que está acelerada. Algunos pueden percibir el efecto contrario, como si tuvieran un ritmo muy lento y las circunstancias fueran más rápidas, con los eventos sucediéndose uno tras otro...

     Como sea, Mercurio, en su estación directa, nos señala a M86, mostrando que si aceleramos nuestro ritmo es posible adelantarse a las circunstancias. En todo caso, conviene tener conciencia de estas diferencias entre los tiempos de reloj y los internos, que pueden acentuarse y provocar desencuentros y complicaciones.

      Pero aún hay más: M86 indica pérdidas también, y sugiere el soltar lo que no nos hace falta. La gran velocidad de esta galaxia provoca una fuerte fricción con el medio intergaláctico, lo que ha despojado a la galaxia de una enorme cantidad de hidrógeno, elemento necesario para producir más estrellas. Por otro lado, al soltar tanta de su materia se vuelve más ligera... Sin duda, este rasgo corresponde astrológicamente con una tendencia a sufrir pérdidas, por lo que es importante no tomar riesgos financieros, evitar compras impulsivas y tomar medidas de seguridad para que nuestros objetos o valores importantes estén bajo buen resguardo. En un sentido positivo, también puede ser bueno soltar objetos, personas, emociones, ideas o situaciones que no son convenientes. Soltar el pasado es en sí una liberación, y psicológicamente, es una de las mejores manifestaciones que puede tener esta estación mercuriana, siguiendo el ejemplo de la galaxia M86...

    En el plano internacional, la fuerte presión gravitacional que ejercen otras galaxias sobre M86 indica una susceptibilidad a presiones sociales. Mercurio, el principal significador de la comunicación, está expuesto a grandes presiones, que quizás coincidan con el intento de control y regulación más o menos globalizado representado por el nuevo tratado Transpacífico. Mercurio, estacionado en alineación con M86, es una alerta, una señal de alarma, un indicador de los peligros de manipulación y control a los cuales seguramente será sujeta la comunicación y el manejo de la información en el mundo. Por otro lado, quizás también se refiera a cambios causados por la presión de mucha gente sobre causas específicas. ¡Es un momento excelente para apoyar, promover y firmar peticiones importantes!

     Y claro que tiene que ser escuchado, pues Mercurio también se encuentra en un paralelo casi exacto con la galaxia M77... una galaxia espiral enorme, sumamente energética y muy brillante en radio. Esto indica una gran necesidad de expresión y comunicación, de por sí la especialidad de Mercurio. Pero M77, que se encuentra en la constelación de Cetus, abarca mucho espacio, y la tendencia resultante sería una necesidad egocéntrica de comunicación, acaparando la atención o invadiendo el espacio de otros. La mejor manera de canalizar esta tendencia, sin embargo, es hacia la promoción de las ideas y los proyectos que ma´s nos interesa que otros vean o tomen en cuenta. El tamaño de M77 hará el resto: no pueden pasar desapercibidos...

     Por otro lado, la combinación Mercurio/M77 es excelente para las finanzas, pues M77 es también muy brillante en el infrarrojo, que simboliza la base material de la vida. Mercurio rige los tratados, el comercio y los intercambios, por lo que a pesar de la condición complicada de su retrogradación, en algunos casos puede ser excelente para la economía. La estación de Mercurio también trae abundancia, pero nosotros decidimos si se trata de la abundancia de un ego que necesita llamar la atención o una que promueva productivamente los buenos planes y proyectos.

     Como ven, la estación de Mercurio es un evento astrológico que trae muchas posibles manifestaciones. Dependiendo de nuestro enfoque, visión personal y posición en las circunstancias, podremos conectarnos con una de ellas o varias. Ahora que ya conocen las más importantes, pueden al menos observar y decidir si la frecuencia que les tocó les gusta o no... La cuestión es poder utilizar este fenómeno a nuestro favor, porque lo seguro es que de todas maneras nos va a causar problemas cotidianos. ¡De alguna manera tenemos qué compensarlo!

This trend is particularly good for work in the visual arts and for organization in general. Take advantage of it! Venus is contra parallel to star cluster M28, and square to Mars retrograde, which is certainly pointing to an opportunity to resume past relationships or resolve pending issues issues at a social or emotional level... Mars is in parallel to galaxy M86, a  very fast one , indicating that external pressures and impatience can lead to tension rather than solutions. It is okay speed things up a bit, but not create stress on social contexts. On April 8th, the Sun makes a contra parallel to Saturn and an opposition to star cluster M68. This combination is powerful and indicates the need to strengthen with a dynamic and optimistic outlook situations stuck in obstacles or weakness. Psychologically, it points to raising self-esteem through activities that require dedication and organization, idleness or inactivity will only bring stagnation. Thus, a potential depression can be transformed into an achievement. Also on April 8th the Sun is at 135° from Mars, which is conjunct the Vela supernova. This combination is extremely explosive and indicates the need to manage energy carefully in order to avoid accidents or aggression. In any case, it is a good time to direct consciously this dynamism to give an impulse to our activities. This mix is good for al kinds of repairs, resolution of pending issues, and particularly, for metabolic or habit changes that can be of great help for health problems, recoveries or just staying well. Of course, this is a general trend among many, but a lot of people might benefit from this by applying therapies focused on change or balancing excesses or shortages in our body. This is a great healing trend, and diets can be started or broken, depending on the case (always seek professional medical advice). The Sun is in ecliptic conjunction to M86, a peculiar galaxy due to its high velocity. Its combination with the Sun today indicates an acceleration, which can be expressed neurotically through a great impatience or instead by taking advantage of this brief impulse to make projects advance. July 30th: The Sun in its annual conjunction to star cluster M44 and 150° from the North Lunar Node reveals a day in which the atmosphere is about expression, manifestation, extroversion. It is a time to show what you feel and think, including creativity. Therefore, it is a great day for art activities, to communicate, to promote, to spread the word. The only thing to avoid is excessive egocentricity; once offstage, leave the show in other people´s hands.
Juno in contraparallel to Chiron, conjunct galaxy M86. This mix of asteroids & galaxy indicates an equilibrium process. The contraparallel represents a balance between two forces; today it is between social and love life, represented by Juno in Libra, and the personal, individual way, indicated by Chiron in Pisces. A balance between these two trends is necessary, but each person has a personal task, depending on which extreme they are located. Anyway, it is better to allow others enjoy their own time and space, especially in relationships. Galaxy M86 is likely to give much strength to social commitments that probably will be resolved in a hurry.
