February 22/23: The Full Moon conjunct the Vela Supernova invites us to purify our minds, penetrating deep into situations to contemplate them clearly from a different perspective

     The Full Moon symbolizes a moment of consciousness, as it reflects with its entire surface the Sun's light, which is what allows us to see and understand the world around us through our visual senses. And when it is aligned with a supernova explosion, the insights are often shocking, disturbing, intense, as well enriching.

      The Vela Supernova is a star that exploded approximately 11,000 years ago in the southern constellation Vela, and its astrological effect suggests a distortion of the practical approach of our routine in favor of a heightened perception of different realities in our daily lives. This trend allows us to perceive other dimensions, small or big, physically, spiritually, or mentally, but it allows us to penetrate beyond the apparent reality and see what is behind it. The Vela Supernova is one of the strongest sources of X-rays in the sky, therefore the trend associated with it is, naturally, to be able to see beyond the surface.

     The resulting insights can produce an emotional change, which can be strong as well as clarifying. The Full Moon usually intensifies emotions, and although in some cases this will coincide with dramatic explosions and catharsis, this will have the effect of a purge that eliminates elements that obstruct our vision and do not allow us to see the underlying reality. And we may find out that it can be much more harmonious than we might believe at first, as the Full Moon is also at the midpoint between Venus and 0° Aries, the Equinox point. This represents, as the initial impression of  any  emotional explosion wanes, the tendency to slowly enter into a state of peace and harmony: the calm after the storm!

     Perhaps our own mental programming does not allow us to see the love and harmony behind our prejudices, and this is the sad reality of today's world. But, as individuals, there's much we can do about it... Thus, during the two weeks of the explosive, penetrating and purifying February Full Moon, we can clean our mind and our emotions to expose an underlying reality in which it is possible to find and consciously promote love, balance, courage and harmony. It's worth a try!

February 6/7: Mercury retrograde, the Vela Supernova and stellar cluster M50 indicate a moment of inspiration and heightened perception that needs to be materialized

 February 6/7: Mercury retrograde in opposition to the Vela supernova, in parallel to stellar cluster M50. When Mercury station is aligned with the Vela supernova, we can expect lots of brainstorming, mental penetration, a heightened perception, a burst of creativity... The mental qualities represented by Mercury are reflected in the X-ray and Gamma-ray environment of the supernova explosion, which symbolizes higher, supra-conscious levels of experience.  What makes this Mercury station particularly interesting is that it is the mental qualities of Mercury that can rationalize to some point this sudden exposure to the unconscious. It's like dreaming consciously! Take advantage of this blend of rational and transpersonal qualities in psychotherapy, artistic inspiration, research and  using your intuition. On the other hand, the explosive, chaotic characteristics of the Vela supernova can distort the normal sense of time, and can lead to distractions, mistakes, disruptions. However, if chaos appears into your reality, use it creatively. Inspire yourself and select the best ideas to put into practice...

     This last is suggested by Mercury retrograde in parallel to stellar cluster M50, a group of stars in the constellation Monoceros. Most of the stars in M50 are type B, which emphasize the mind. However, it also has a lonely red giant star of type M related to the material plane. Therefore, M50 symbolizes ideas that are in the process of being materialized. This means that, after being inspired by our research or heightened perception, it is important to give a concrete shape to our inner visions, as well as finding the correct value and place for our ideas. Unless we try to give them a definite form, they will remain concepts, abstractions. The fact that the Mercury retrograde period starts in parallel to M50 is of great help to those who need to apply theory into practice and take the first steps for materializing plans.

     During the next three weeks, we will have plenty of opportunities to revise our theories and test them against reality. If we find some difficulties, perhaps we'll need to make some adjustments. But the power of inspiration will be strong, just as a supernova wind compresses the hydrogen clouds, stimulating the creation of new stars. August 26/27: Juno, Saturn and the Tarantula Nebula ask for the definition of boundaries and goals to improve commitment in relationships. Venus, Uranus and star cluster M3 help to overcome insecurities, among other trends. Find about the astrological trends today and choose your frequency!

August 26/27: The week begins with several important trends, and you probably won't have time to experience them all. We can connect with any of them unconsciously, but the ideal is to choose which one is best for us to suit our needs. Here are the main trends at the start of the week, just select those that seem most appropriate for you, or identify which one is manifesting spontaneously...

     Juno in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, in square to Saturn. The asteroid of partnerships is at 90° from Saturn, indicating a moment of tension or limitation in close relationships. It is possible that some relationships will enter a frustrating mood. However, it is an excellent moment to define, renew or build commitments, and to set limits. Many relationships have no limits, and that most likely implies an invasion of the individuality of each member. Or perhaps it is necessary to define common goals, to restore and redefine the meaning of commitment, to discern what corresponds to the couple or the team and what corresponds to each individual person. This is one of the best times of the year to do that.

     Juno is in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, a giant star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. This indicates that the demands of close  relationships in general (partner or friendship, relationships, work, family, etc..), may be excessive. The Tarantula Nebula is excessively large, hence representing big expectations, but they have to be worked out to be materialized, in this case, in pairs or in teams. For this to happen, it is necessary to define common objectives and set reasonable goals. In this case, the limitation is positive, as it relates to reorganize life together, whether in marriage or other close relationship, and this can lead to a very productive and connected cooperation. Saturn in contra parallel to M95 confirms this trend, since M95 is a fertile galaxy with an enhanced star production, but this requires organization. It's worth sitting for talking about common goals and give them due importance. And if the relationship is in crisis, now is the time to confront and find solutions.

     Venus is conjunct star cluster M3, and in opposition to Uranus. This represents a possible solution to feelings of insecurity, incompatibility or instability in relationships. M3 is a cluster with many variable stars, and also many stars that have collided with each other. But M3 is not a body that can be ignored, because of its size: it is one of the biggest star clusters seen from Earth, so great that it can even be seen with the naked eye in good conditions, in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is therefore inevitable to confront the insecurities caused by some relationships. But now we must follow a different strategy.

     Urans has been in opposition to M3 for several months, so that the most common reaction to insecurity or incompatibility was separation, taking a distance. But the transit of Venus today allows us to approach  with harmony, albeit briefly, to people or situations that generate insecurity or that have shown a lack of compatibility in the past. Perhaps the differences and the reasons of insecurity will appear in a more realistic and less threatening way. This will ease up situations and will allow us to do something constructive in circumstances and company we wouldn't expect.

     Venus is also quincunx (150 °) to Chiron, which is contra parallel to star cluster M5. The M5/Chiron mix indicates chronic circulation or respiratory problems, because cluster M5 is a very old one: its age is 13 billion years. Hence its association with chronic diseases, but thanks to the transit of Venus, there may be a relief, a visible improvement, or, even better, a total recovery. Hence, therapies that seek  harmonization to balance metabolic deficiencies can be highly effective. Psychologically, this combination is referred to heal the psychological effects of insecurity or neglect. But it also works great for studying or doing research in matters of the remote past: archeology, history, ancient cultures...

     The Sun makes its annual conjunction with the Vela supernova, but this time in opposition to Neptune. This indicates a moment of inspiration, that can match transcendent visions, unbridled imagination, as well as a penetrating and revealing approach to our daily lives. The Vela supernova, just as others of its kind, represent the ability to penetrate beyond the visible reality, due to its high X-ray emission. However, we must not forget that it is a stellar explosion, so that when you are into this introspection, the normal, everyday vision of reality and time is altered. And yes, mixed with the Neptunian effect, this trend can produce altered states of consciousness, without any artificial stimulus.

      Not everyone will be able to connect with this trend, but those who do will experience the great power of inspiration and motivation, reaching profound and transcendent levels through visualization, meditation, art, mysticism, scientific research or simply through important insights. Reality is not always what we see with our eyes and touch with our hands. To know that there is something more, and that we can discover it, is one of the motivations that have always pushed humanity forwards. Those who are interested can now experience this inspiring trend in all its glory. But don't get lost on your trip! Don't forget your ticket back to everyday life, this lasts only about 48 hours...

     Mercury is at 45° from Pallas, which is in parallel to M42, the Great Nebula in Orion. This certainly speaks of an ideal time to make repairs, organizing and structuring projects future plans. The Great Orion Nebula is one of the most important areas of star formation in our galaxy, and hence the idea of ​​fertility, a large number of possibilities available. Although this trend is less impressive than the others, do not let it pass with indifference! This is particularly true if you have pending work or repairs to do. The results can be excellent... February 27/28: The Sun, Chiron and the North America Nebula emphasize healing and teaching, while Venus, Neptune, the Vela Supernova and galaxy M95 give an inspiring force to art, business and relationships

February 27/28: The Sun is in ecliptic conjunction to Chiron and the North America Nebula. The Sun/Chiron mix certainly suggests an emphasis on healing and teaching, the essential themes of Chiron. The North America Nebula means, among other things, highlighting situations. Therefore, this is a great day to appreciate the effects of therapies and diagnostics as the North America Nebula will highlight the factors that cause the disease, making them obvious and bringing clarity to cases ... This is important considering that Mercury is retrograde in Pisces, which can lead to ambiguities and uncertainties in  consultations and diagnoses. Learning and teaching are also extremely favored by this combination, so it is an excellent trend for academic and research activities, which will last until the weekend ... The  elements to be learned can be highlighted in the mind more than at other times, helping their assimilation. The subjects of investigation may also be obvious and easily recognizable... This couple of days may be the delight of an investigator or detective... or a professor using a new and attractive teaching material.

     However, from the psychological point of view, this combination will also highlight our emotional wounds, confronting us with our traumas, complexes, insecurities, etc., so we may find them right in front of our faces, standing clearly (the recent full moon in Virgo helps a bit). If it becomes inevitable to confront your neglected, unresolved areas, you definitely need to take this process seriously and dive deep into the healing experience. We must take over parts of our personality that were relegated in the background and need attention now. This can cause a prodigious regeneration, although initially this process might be intense. Chiron is also in parallel to star cluster M14, which has a large number of variable stars and therefore represents instability. We must be brave and dare to confront parts of our lives that cause us insecurity, as that is exactly where the solar/chiron healing energy is directed.

      But not everything is therapy and confrontation. Venus makes its annual ecliptic conjunction to Neptune, and both are opposed to the Vela Supernova. This combination suggests a special sublimation of emotions, which can occur in terms of relationships, affection, love, finances and especially in the arts. This contact may result in interesting, influential, motivating, as well as intense and disturbing interactions in friendship, love & affection, sex and  business. Neptune and the Vela Supernova incite us to see reality in a different way, which can be deeply inspiring. But, at least in the area of relationships, it is important not to idealize people and live in the moment without setting too many expectations. The Vela Supernova distorts the quality of time and therefore the perspective of present, past and future. Furthermore, the same combination provides  much depth in the approach to people, so it is possible to communicate at  superconscious levels that we normally do not access consciously. Do not be surprised if there is telepathy and you find amazing coincidences. By the same token, the best option is to channel this energy through art with a great inspiration that can make us touch other dimensions.

       Venus is also in parallel to spiral galaxy M95, whose star formation rate is very high. Therefore, this is an excellent time to develop creativity and productivity in both the art and business worlds. Obviously, we must take care that money or investments do not vanish by impulsive acts, unclear strategies or a lack of vision, all this indicated by Neptune... But so much energy combined (M95 and the Vela Supernova) also suggests a very strong productivity. Make good use of it in your individual area, but always with your feet on the ground ...

February 20/21: Juno and the Sombrero Galaxy draw attention to relationships, the Sun and Neptune activate the insightful Vela supernova, while Mercury, Uranus and M12 liberate and distract the mind

February 20/21: Asteroid Juno is in parallel to the Sombrero Galaxy and at 30° from Venus. This combination promotes contacts between people, commitments, social events, and also romantic and sexual encounters. However, it is likely that they will become too absorbing and demanding, and what began as a simple meeting can turn out to be more intense than expected. If relationships are harmonious and worthwhile, this intensity is likely to unite people in a bond of trust, commitment and/or affection. But in relationships in which there are already tensions and deterioration may enter a period of crisis. The Sombrero galaxy contains a massive black hole at its center, which tends to draw a lot of attention, in this case, from Juno, the of relationships. It is very easy to fall into the temptation of expressing power and a dominant attitude, but the best is to be strong enough to transcend this and avoid manipulations or engaging in social rituals as planned as a chess game.

       The atmosphere of these days actually promises much more than this... The Sun conjunct Neptune, in opposition to the Vela Supernova simply gives more strength to a transcendent stimulus that has lasted for about a year. Supernovae are broadly consistent with a profound vision, different from the material reality: it obviously seems distorted or unreal. But it's just another point of view: the intense X-ray radiation from the Vela Supernova suggests a strong introspection, that,  in many cases, can be the motivation for important and irreversible changes. Anyway, once you become aware of a situation, you can not turn back and forget. Humankind as a whole has been going through this process since Neptune, in early 2012, began its retrograde periods in opposition to this supernova. Many people are becoming aware -thanks to the Internet and the intensification of communication, of a lot of things that used to pass unnoticed in the world. As a genre, we are actually perceiving things differently (though not all individuals). Good for everyone!

      The Sun gives strength to this process and encourages deep awareness, either in a social or a personal context, and this awareness can and should produce positive changes. Neptune in parallel to Pallas, simultaneously, indicates the possibility of giving a concrete shape to our inner visions. It is one thing to imagine, and a very different one to materialize imagination, but in this couple of days there is a marvelous coincidence between the power of visualization and the possibility of achieving. Although this implies an effort, it is necessary to design strategies, even for the future. The important thing is to design a plan of action now. In the weeks and months that follow, these strategies will tend to work with strength and definition ...

      In addition, Mercury is in parallel to star cluster M12, and contra parallel to Uranus. This also has to do with the mind and transcendent mental creativity. But be careful of distractions, it is very easy to deviate our eyes from our daily tasks and even cause accidents due to inattention... However, in a proper context, it is possible to let the mind wander, as leaving it free, you can find new possibilities, solutions, inventions, creativity. But M12 is a highly dispersed cluster, suggesting a lack of discipline, rebellion, neglect and disorganization. This will undoubtedly affect everyday communication, which can acquire unexpected and surprising nuances. People will tend to communicate in a very anarchic and erratic way. Every head is a world in itself, so if you are connected with this trend, let everyone wander by their own planet. While your feet are standing firmly on the ground, your mind and (almost) everyone's should flow freely ... Enjoy the ride!

September 3/4: Many combinations between rebel galaxies, planets, supernovae, asteroids, galaxy collisions and compressed nebulae suggest a start of the week with different frequencies to connect with. Choose yours!

September 3/4: An abundance of combinations between planets, galaxies and nebulae astrological intensify the astrological traffic at the start of the week. There will be many available channels to connect  with... As always, on days like this it is wise to select the best option for what we want to experience, according to our needs. Here is a list of the main frequencies that are activated in this couple of days or even the whole week. Or you may want to use each one for something different!

     One of the most interesting is undoubtedly the conjunction of Uranus and Pallas, which in turn are in opposition to the Antennae Galaxies. This suggests a strengthened individuality, and a good time to bring out and develop plans and strategies at a personal level, outside obligations and routine work. This trend shows originality and creativity. Elsewhere in the Galactic Guide we have discussed the interesting phenomenon that is Uranus in opposition to the Antennae Galaxies, a galactic collision in the constellation Corvus. The fact that these galaxies are merging into a single one indicate the strength of the collective pull and relationships. Uranus, the planet of individuality, revolution, freedom, opposes them in several months of 2012, and hence the abundance of massive demonstrations around the planet. In any case, with Pallas, the theme is applying strategies to see what we can do individually to make this planet better in this whole collective process of change, so strong by now and the three years to come. Oh, and it also favors  visual arts, since Pallas is parallel to the Horsehead Nebula, one of the most famous and probably indicating important events and great creativity in the world of film and visual arts. Perhaps they are now filming scenes, taking photos and painting pictures that will cause sensation in the following months and years! Or maybe it is just a good time to make good plans and watch a good movie.

     Venus square Saturn and trine to Juno is a frequency that, unlike the previous one, is centered on relations.  Venus at 90° from Saturn is restrictive, so it is likely that some relationships will resent the distance. However, this mix can be positive if the limits are suitably applied in most relationships. If there is a real desire to relate, the important thing is not to be right, but to get over the distance and difficulties with diplomacy, kindness and harmony. A good time to structure the budget, however, so as to demonstrate commitment in relationships despite any obstacles or distance (emotional, ideological or otherwise) that may exist.

     Juno conjunct the Draco dwarf galaxy also lasts for almost a week and refers to the desire to balance company with the need for solitude. This can result difficult in some cases, and perhaps you'll have to confront the unconscious part of certain relationships. In any case it is good to do a thorough analysis of many of them. The Draco dwarf galaxy is a dwarf satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, and contains a large amount of dark matter. Hence the transit of Juno, the relations specialist, encouraging psychoanalytic exploration. The Draco Dwarf is very difficult to observe and therefore only recently discovered, that's why it represents isolation. Therefore, some couples, families, friends and associations will feel the need to whether distance themselves from the world, or to allow for a few days an individual spacefor everyone, quite important for each partner or team member.

     Mercury in parallel to the galaxy M60, conjunct the Vela Supernova, in contra parallel to Neptune. This trend indicates extraordinary strengthening of the power of thought, although it is likely to last for only a few hours or at most  a couple of days. The galaxy M60 is giant, so huge that the Mercury parallel depicts very strong concepts, words and ideas. Be careful with what you say, because excess energy can cause damage or a different effect than expected. But this combination is extremely creative, and this power may be combined with  the Vela supernova, suggesting a profound vision of reality, and Neptune, which governs ESP and creative imagination. Is it a great time to let our minds and our actions flow without much structure or daily control, because their tendency is towards the transcendent. If you see too much chaos in your daily routine, it means you are unconsciously connected with this frequency, and it is advisable to be flexible ... and seeing things from a different angle. Let your unconscious speak: dreams can be intense and revealing ...

     Mars in contra parallel to galaxy M91, sextile to Pluto and trine to Chiron. This theme is about power and transformation, which can be useful in the context of physical training, rehabilitation, medical applications and research , political activities , and of course for wrestling sessions... But on the other hand, it tends to generate a lot of opposition and cause intense confrontations and futile power games. If you feel a strong desire for activity or a strong anger, this frequency may have connected with any of the planets in your astrological birth chart. In that case, you'll have to control this impulse. Above all, avoid conflicts: Mars is war-like, and M91 is a galaxy that goes in an opposite direction to the rest of his companions in the Virgo cluster, indicating a tendency to contradict and oppose everyone in open rebellion to the collective trend. The results can be disastrous and violent in some cases. But if channeled into major challenges, this is a boost if you have goals to reach and need some extra energy... It is also useful for filling all kinds of shortcomings, especially on the diet, compensating with any adequate nutrients that are missing from the body.

July 9th: The Sun, Neptune and star cluster M50 invite us to become aware of the physical condition of our reality, to fill the gap between the mind and the material world

July 9th: The Sun is in ecliptic conjunction to star cluster M50, and at 135° from Neptune. This reflects a moment when circumstances  invite us to reflect on our material reality, the physical body, our security and stability. Any shortage or difficulty in this respect will come to the surface. This can rise some concerns, but the important thing is to become aware of the real state of things in order to take action. Many problems can find a way to be solved if we get to the real roots and causes. Where comes this all from?

       The star cluster M50, located in the constellation Monoceros (the Unicorn) is an open cluster, a relatively young family of stars of about 78 million years of age. At the center of M50 lies a red giant star of type M, which dominates visually the cluster, contrasting with the blue color of its neighbors. M-type stars have a direct relationship with the material world, money, the physical body and our basic needs. M50 makes us focus on this frequency, so to speak, and the Sun, as it makes its annual transit conjunct with this cluster, activates temporarily the awareness of these issues, giving strength and energy to activities related to health, maintenance of the body, home, finances, administration and stimulates the care and conservation of our goods, whether many or just a few.


       The relationship of 135° between the Sun and Neptune will show areas where there is some material weakness or lack of physical awareness. Neptune is still busy transcending material reality, just after its station opposed to the Vela supernova a few weeks ago ... Neptune takes us very far mentally and spiritually, reaching transcendent visions, scientific discoveries (such as the recent announcement of the Higgs' Boson, the "God particle") and spiritual fulfillment. But today and probably tomorrow too, the Sun and M50 invite us to give a physical, tangible form, to our visions, to put our feet on the ground and compenssate for material shortages that have been generated by carelessness, distraction, neglect or evasion. There is nothing to fear, though! Having a practical, detached approach will help to fill the gap, large or small, that can exist between the mind and the material reality. From there, of course, important decisions in our lives can be taken... But that is another issue, which we will discuss tomorrow...

June 8th: Mercury, Vesta and star cluster M35 help to produce with concentration, Neptune and the Vela supernova stimulate imagination, transcendent visions, also evasion ...

June 8th: Mercury at 45° from Vesta, conjunct star cluster M35. This combination is ideal for concentrating on specific tasks and work on them thoroughly. To act in an organized and focused attitude can be very constructive, in almost any task. So it's a trend to take advantage of, do not let it pass! M35 is a very populous open cluster, which may correspond to great abundance related to the tasks in which we focus our mind. In some cases, this abundance will require special attention or be very demanding, but once again, mental organization will help resolve things.    

     Mercury is also trine to Neptune and the Vela supernova. And while  the above combination favors concentration, this one on the contrary lies quite outside the context of everyday life. We'll probably have to navigate with one foot on the practical level and the other on a very different dimension, but so is the dialogue going on between Neptune and the supernova, and it's good to be aware that there is an astrological explanation of what happens at this level throughout the planet. Neptune represents collective processes, and when his twice-a-year station falls in the same degree of a supernova (or opposite to it), there is great collective movements manifesting.    

     The Vela supernova is related to a surreal vision, which, along with Neptune's station, is even stronger and fantasy-prone! The transit of Mercury gives yet a nuance of of rationality, allowing us to appreciate and understand a little bit better what's happening in the world and where are we standing now. This transit favors creative imagination, abstract thinking, artistic and spiritual inspiration, insights. What predominates is the desire to transcend mentally, hence it is better to channel it through great works of art or inspirational ideas. However, it also places great emphasis on dispersion and evasion. Choose our seat, fasten your seat belts and good luck in your travel!

May 29th: The Sun, Saturn and star cluster M107 give structure to chaotic situations and restrict freedom; Venus, star cluster M28, galaxy M90 and Ceres bring financial regeneration with a fresh drive that is likely to revive projects

May 29th: The Sun is at 135° from Saturn, in opposition to star cluster M107. This is a restrictive combination, which can be useful for structuring chaotic, disperse situations, and compensate for excessive freedom, on the verge of negligence. M107 is one of the loosest star clusters in the galaxy. However, depending on the situation, this may also manifest as an excessive limit to personal freedom, and repression. If possible, apply this trend to bring order where needed. Avoid exposure to restrictions by authority figures or others because of an informal behavior, which in other days with different trends, would go unnoticed. Later in the day, the Sun is in opposition to star cluster M4 and at 150° from Pluto, which is parallel to star cluster M25. This represents a regenerative energy, since M4 has a millisecond pulsar, suitable to give new impetus to old projects stagnated by inertia. The revival can come up with even more strength than in the past, so... start removing dust!

Vesta in contra parallel to Neptune and in opposition to the Vela supernova remnant. Neptune will be stationary in conjunction with this supernova or star explosion, which has been mentioned in other reports and will surely give more to talk about in the coming weeks. The phenomenon involves a transcendent vision and deep insights, but can interfere with daily life by the difference in frequency. The combination with Vesta suggests, however, that today the focus on some important task can serve as an anchor to keep our minds wander or disperse too much. So this is a good day to focus on specific projects and avoid interruptions.

Venus in contra parallel to star cluster M28 at 30° from Ceres, which is in parallel to galaxy M90.
