The Full Moon in contra parallel to the Swan Nebula (M17) is actually an invitation to express and share hidden treasures

     The Full Moon is a moment of awareness, with the surface of our satellite fully illuminated, reflecting the Sun's light. The celestial object that matches the position of the Full Moon suggests awareness in a particular area. In this month, it is the Swan Nebula or M17, located in the constellation Sagittarius, with which the Full Moon makes a contra parallel . M17 is a nebula that contains a cluster within, which illuminates it with great beauty, but is not directly visible, as it is blocked by dense clouds of dust and gas. Therefore it is indicating hidden resources, talents that need to manifest, the overcoming of obstacles.

The Full Moon this month helps on that much needed expression, as it is in a balancing contra parallel to M17, facilitating communication and social relationships, logic and negotiations in the zodiacal sign of Gemini. It is therefore an excellent time, which will last about a week, to overcome obstacles in relationships, in finances and artistic projects. Also to help others overcome their problems and of course, to open and share the treasures that we have been keeping inside, whether they are material or intangible. We should accept this invitation to share that the Full Moon so generously offers to us!

March 7/8/9 : Venus and star cluster M46 help promote hidden potential, Ceres and cluster M52 foster support and protection in relationships, the Sun helps nebula M43 to overcome insecurities with a good organization

March 7/8/9 : Venus is in parallel to Saturn and the Swan Nebula (M17), in opposition to star cluster M46. Less than a week ago, Saturn made its retrograde station in parallel to the Swan Nebula, a fact that was commented here in the Galactic Guide. This trend is mainly applied to the structuring of the economy and hard work on art/creative projects in the following months. The Swan Nebula (M17) is a star-forming  in the constellation Sagittarius, which is characterized by having a hidden star cluster within its vast clouds of hydrogen gas and dust. This visual barrier symbolizes undoubtedly difficulties for expression and to manifest the creative potential hidden within. Saturn's station, in parallel to M17, indicates the need to work on existing impediments through structured and organized actions, so that the potential symbolized by M17 becomes a reality, and for this we must work hard in the coming months . ..

     However, this weekend Venus offers help in this regard, transiting in parallel to Saturn and the Swan Nebula. Venus has an affinity for artistic and financial issues as well as for social and romantic life. But the key to understand the nature of this support is in its opposition to star cluster M46, which contains several extremely bright stars that shine with the power of 100 Suns each... Since these extremely brilliant stars are type A , which stimulate communication and expressiveness, it can be inferred that the trend is about getting attention from others in order to be heard, to showcase and promote... This is of great help to overcome, at least momentarily, the obstacles identified by the dense dust clouds of M17. Therefore, this is a great weekend to bring to light hidden things (we will probably witness strong revelations at the personal level and also in international gossip), information, talents, ideas, and above all, to overcome financial obstacles, artistic difficulties and relationship problems, using the power of communication and expressiveness. Don't remain silent! Try to manifest, to promote, to express in order to advance ...
All this thanks to Venus! (by the way, Venus looks stunningly beautiful in the East at dawn, don´t miss it!) .

     On the other hand, later, on Saturday, Venus is in exact square to Ceres and star cluster M52. This trend is perfect to take care of our loved ones, plants, pets and our home, working space and social environment, and give them a good dose of protection, support, affection and beauty. The harmony and kindness of Venus join with the maternal and protective trend of Ceres to support and promote the good qualities in others and a productive and pleasurable activity... It's like a kind of general maintenance in our daily lives which gives necessary support and encouragement at various levels. The way to give/receive  this protection will vary according to the situation and context, but we must take into account that M52 is a "complete" cluster because it contains many stars of different spectral types, highlighting the type F (its most brilliant star), whose effect is in emotions and social relationships. It is therefore necessary to look for nurturning attitudes, developing support, protection, harmony... And of course, we must have an open mind for receiving all this kindness when others want to provide it, or even ask if we are the one in need... Moreover, this trend often results in excellent cooking sessions, so it is a great time to organize lunch/dinner sessions, to cook and share food. Let's enjoy this and share with those who are truly in need. A shared happiness is double joy...

     Finally, the Sun is in contra parallel to nebula M43 and sesquisquare (135°) to Ceres. This undoubtedly refers to reorganize our productive activity in order to improve it. The combination Sun/Ceres relates to a creative and productive potential, which, connected through a sesquisquare, means the implementation of a good organization and the setting of specific targets. M43 is a neighbor to the famous Great Orion Nebula (M42 ), and is illuminated by a variable, unstable star of type B. This indicates an inconsistency in thinking that can lead to great uncertainty, doubts and indecision, and thus a lower productivity and performance than expected. But the Sun in contra parallel to M43 shows the possibility of compensating the existing inconsistencies and insecurities through a better organization. The effort to improve the structure of our daily lives and our work can lead to great satisfaction and to overcome domestic/work problems that have been consistent in recent weeks. This weekend is ideal for correcting strategies that no longer work properly, to modify them so that they adapt to the current reality, resulting in better performance, and an inner satisfaction.

February 4/5: Three important parallels of the Sun,Saturn and Juno with the Swan Nebula , Mars and Venus suggest a week with financial structure, interesting social commitments and a flow of abundance

February 4/5: The Sun in parallel to Saturn and the Swan Nebula (M17). This combination is ideal for structuring art projects and manage finances. The Swan Nebula is a bright object in the infrared, because most of its starlight is filtered through dense clouds of ionized hydrogen and dust. Infrared symbolizes, by its broad wavelength, the material plane and its management. Then Saturn structures the resources symbolized by the Sun. But M17 also has an artistic side, so it is a good time to organize production events, spectacles, and performances of all kinds. In everyday matters, an ordered domestic entourage will result in a great harmony. Therefore, and although it might be difficut at first, it is worth striving to achieve a greater organization in the next couple of days. In some cases, though,  it will be necessary to apply restrictions: such is the nature of the events in which Saturn is involved.

   Juno is in opposition to Copeland's Septet and parallel to Mars, indicating an important week in which important alliances and commitments can be made. This trend is about distributing time adequately between personal commitments and social activities. People with whom we have a close engagement, such as spouse, family members, friends and partners will demand more attention. This is symbolized by asteroid Juno alongside a very assertive planet Mars. It is good to give priority to those relationships that mean the most to us, and to fulfill the commitments that were acquired. The more open social relations, beyond our personal circle, are symbolized by Copeland's Septet, a group of galaxies in the constellation Leo. These relationships should take a backseat , although they will also certainly be appealing. The challenge is to correctly divide the time between them, giving priority to showing solidarity with our loved ones and colleagues...

     Venus conjunct the Wild Duck Cluster (M11), and parallel to the Sun. This is perhaps this week's best parallel, as it includes the presence of M11, the famous Wild Duck cluster: it implies abundance. M11 has more than 2,900 stars, a number that, for a cosmic family, is a large one. Hence, M11 represents abundance, which, connected with the parallel Sun/Venus, may translate into an abundance of love, money, affection, sex, social activities, art , beauty... January 23/24/25 : Mercury is in parallel to Saturn and  the Swan Nebula ( M17 ). The Mercury / Saturn combination represents an organized approach to the mind and everyday life. it is perfect for putting papers in order, revising the administration of money and resources, editing letters & writings, structuring our thoughts & minds, and particularly for reviewing the functionality of our everyday life at work and at home. Further, the Swan Nebula ( M17 ) symbolizes hidden resources, as it hosts in its interior a star cluster whose presence is inferred through the beautiful lighting that iluminates its nebulous mother.

     The light of these stars coming from the inside makes M17 look like a swan, although many people see in it other forms, equally evocative... Only through infrared telescopes the presence of these stars hs been revealed: they represent hidden resources, whether saved or not considered before. It is therefore an ideal moment to work on promising projects that need development and attention. This favors especially artistic and administrative work, but it can be effective in any area in which we need some rearrengement or structuring to find beauty, harmony and good material results... M17 is a favorable financial indicator as it emits a lot of radiation in the infrared spectrum. It is a good time to impulse the economy, whether personal or collective.

    This trend, however, won't be short-lived: it is likely to last until the weekend. Mercury then parallels Venus and makes a contra parallel to the energetic and aesthetic spiral galaxy M100 . The Venus / Mercury mix indicates harmony and communication in relationships, creativity in art, nice progresss in financial matters andlots of diplomacy to negotiate. M100 is a highly energetic galaxy with a remarkably symmetrical structure, symbolizing a strong, harmonious impulse. This will be of great help in the Mercury / Saturn process of structuring discussed above: it makes it lighter and gives a harmonious background to act, solid results and also allows the balancing of situations, correct excesses properly to negotiate and engage in good terms with others. Mercury makes almost simultaneously a trine to Mars and star cluster M68, one of the most disperse globular clusters in the galaxy. This indicates areas in which the dispersion of energy, disinterest or irresponsibility can cause problems. It is in these areas where we have to organize and bring some structure... in order to have good results. On the other hand, the Mercury, Venus and Mars combination with M68 also represents relaxing activities at a social, loving and/or sexual level...

     There is also an interesting mix of asteroids and a cluster. Juno is conjunct Chiron, in opposition to Pallas, and parallel to open cluster M50. This trend strongly emphasizes cooperation, dialogue and mental connection between people. It indicates openness, trust , and the ability to heal wounds and overcome misunderstandings. In an atmosphere of trust, we can touch even the most thorny issues. Juno represents relationships, commitments, Chiron has an academic and therapeutic symbolism, ideal for sharing good advice. M50, on the other hand, is a cluster with many stars of type B, which stimulate imagination, the intellect, the mental plane. In addition, M50 has an M-type red giant star, suggesting activity in the material plane. Thus, M50 represents the realization of ideas through concrete activities. In most cases,  this trend will emphasize positively, and during the weekend, academic relations , study groups/meetings, therapeutic interviews, psychoanalysis ... And the best: the possibility to reconcile isolated parts of our personality with the outside world through practical actions.

August 28/29: Ceres and M53 provide supplies for weak situations, Vesta and the Swan Nebula promote research. The Sun, Mercury and star cluster M26 help to express what has remained silent, while Venus, Pallas and the Great Orion Nebula enhance art and productivity

August 28/29: Ceres enters Virgo in parallel to M53, a cluster with a very low metallicity. This means help or protection to areas or people in need of resources. This can apply to many situations, and indicates that Ceres' transit of the zodiacal sign Virgo, which runs until November 3, 2013, can be productive and helpful if we inject energy and resources in strategic locations that deserve attention. With the help of Ceres, and her protective attitude that combines with the diligence of Virgo, the projects that have stalled can be balanced with some movement: M53 is a balanced cluster by its moderate concentration.

     Pluto at 135° from Vesta, 120° from Mercury, is an excellent combination for research as it gives depth and mental concentration. Vesta is parallel to M17, the Swan Nebula, which hides inside a cluster of stars that illuminate it from within, like a lamp. Hence the beauty of M17, which favors research in the arts today. This combination will help to unfold hidden beauty and creativiy, to find creative and inspiring contents beyond what is visible to the eyes. But in reality, the combination of the Plutonian depth with M17's hidden contents favors all types of research, from scientific to one's own psychological depths ..

     The Sun parallels Mercury and is contra parallel star cluster M26. This has a balancing effect on areas that have remained expressionless. M26 is an open cluster in the constellation Scutum, which has many stars of type A and B, emphasizing expression. But the large amount of dust that obscures the cluster indicates obstacles, resistance, a block for this expressiveness. The Mercury/Sun combination in contra parallel to M26 implies an opportunity to express, to communicate, to manifest, overcoming difficulties and thus contributing to a better understanding. So, get your ideas out from the shade! This combination also represents denied access to files or information.

     Pallas parallel Venus and M42, the Great Nebula in Orion, is another combination especially favorable for the arts, particularly the graphic ones: painting, sculpture, photography, design, etc.. The Great Nebula in Orion is a particularly fertile area of our galaxy, which means high productivity, coupled with the venusian aesthetic sense and Pallas' strategic view. This also indicates an increase in production in business: financial strategies, however small, will tend to be successful and will grow as fresh sprouts if you start them now. Take good care of them!

     The Sun in quincunx (150°) to Juno and the Tarantula Nebula indicates adjustments in relationships that have been going on for several days, as Juno experiences a conjunction to one of the largest known nebulae. The demands of partners and close relationships increases, and they must be given due attention. As the Sun is still in contra parallel to M26 (see above), it is time to express what has not been said in our relationships. Things can imply both good or negative feelings, but the question is about their manifestation. Releasing them through expression will bring a healing effect, that will open possibilities for those who are willing to cooperate. However, you must think before speaking:  this tendency reflects drastic changes. So, if you want to avoid a intense turning point in your relationships, crucial, it is best to avoid confrontation.

July 9/10: The New Moon and the Cat's Eye Nebula focus on complex and refined situations, while star cluster M50, the Sun and Mercury confront ideas into practice. Venus, the Saturn Nebula and the Swan Nebula balance difficulties with warmth and vitality

July 9/10: This month's New Moon is conjunct the Cat's Eye Nebula. A New Moon marks the beginning of the monthly cycle, which basically concerns our daily lives and our emotions. At the start of any cycle is the seed that will develop later, so it is always interesting to check the prevailing conditions of that particular beginning. On this occasion, the Sun and the Moon meet in ecliptic conjunction the Cat's Eye Nebula, located in the constellation Draco. This nebula is actually a dying star, whose intricate structure and complex morphology suggests complicated situations that are difficult to understand and unravel. On the other hand, from a more positive approach, the Cat's Eye represents sophistication and refinement, that can be contemplated in all its grandeur in the fantastic images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

     Thus, we can expect the next month to unfold in a very complicated way if things are not kept simple and direct. We have to make a conscious effort to avoid tangling over what it is already complicated... However, to focus on simplicity can make us lose the real prospect of how things actually are. In any case, it is a month to find new approaches to complex situations. Understanding well their inner mechanisms can lead to solutions that fit them perfectly, like a key in a lock, which is hard to open if its complexity is not really grasped. In addition, this Sun/Moon cycle, which runs until August 6, can be helpful to manage and develop a refined, sophisticated, unique creativity, manifesting beauty and harmony in an original way. This is excellent for all types of artwork, personal or professional.


    The Sun conjunct Mercury retrograde and star cluster M50 shows the need to give practical application to our ideas, whether they consist of everyday issues or a refined philosophy. Mercury retrograde symbolizes the review or reconsideration of our ideas, while its conjunction with the Sun indicates the enormous force that our thinking will bear: handle it carefully. Star cluster M50 is composed mainly of B-type stars, of high temperature that strongly stimulates the mental plane. However, M50 has a lonely giant M type star, of low temperature, highly visible by the contrast of its red color with the blue of type B stars. M-type stars symbolize the material world, and thus, M50 represents the need to give practical application to ideals and convictions. If these do not work in practice, they must be corrected. In order to do this, of course, we must recognize our mistakes putting our ego aside. Holding rigidly to concepts without flexibility can be counterproductive today, or even humiliating.

     But this practical reconsideration of our own ideas can be very valuable, since it will actually show us  if our thinking is rooted on external reality or if it's just an abstract theory. It's a hard lesson to assimilate, but quite interesting for those in search of the truth... As the Sun is 150° from Juno, the asteroid of relationships and partners, this test may come from people nearby: spouse, friends, family or colleagues, which can be irritating in some cases. But it's better this way, as everything stays in a private context, avoiding public confrontations...

    Venus is square (at 90°) to the Lunar Nodes, and in opposition to the Saturn Nebula. This frequency affects mainly social relations, which must be approached with a relaxed attitude, avoiding ideological confrontations. The Saturn Nebula is another planetary nebula or dying star, located in the constellation Aquarius. It emits most of its energy in the ultraviolet frequency, and its temperature is very high (90,000 ° K!). This represents a very strong ideological bias, which must be balanced by the more mundane, realistic and enjoyable approach of Venus in the zodiac sign of Leo, which is in opposition. Both celestial bodies are at 90° to the Lunar Nodes, which represent the evolutionary scheme of our relations. Therefore, it is important not to take things too seriously and try to flow with a relaxed social and emotional approach.

         If some of you think that this approach is frivolous, keep in mind it may actually lighten some heavy circumstances, always present in this world at some point. Within M17, a star cluster lies hidden, illuminating the nebula as if it were a lamp, making it glow with an unusual beauty. Thus, art and beauty can actually brighten dark corners of human existence, whether from a rehearsal room, from a workshop, from a public or private stage, or simply from the warmth of a hand that extends to share generously. May 4th: Pallas, Juno, star cluster M10 and Stephan's Quintet of galaxies suggest a moment to participate and cooperate. The Sun and M10 also bring work in privacy and good business, Eta Carina and Mercury bring a mirror to contemplate our own ego ... and others as well.

May 4th: Pallas is in contra parallel to Juno, in parallel to star cluster M10, in ecliptic conjunction with Stephan's Quintet, a small group of galaxies in the constellation Pegasus. This mix of asteroids, galaxies and star cluster indicates an important moment of cooperation, ideal for teamwork or to gather the necessary people to help in our plans. It is important to stay open to cooperation and exchange, but we'll need also to motivate others and be ready to accept people different from oneself.

The Sun in contra parallel to M17, the Swan Nebula, indicates a different way, best suited for those who prefer to do things at a more personal or private level. The Swan Nebula contains inside a stellar cluster, but is hidden behind the clouds of ionized hydrogen. However, it illuminates the nebula, which shines like a cosmic lamp in all its glory. Hence the transit of the Sun today is positive to work privately, especially in artistic matters, but also in business. M17 is a great astrological infuence to do good operations. investments and major purchases. Take advantage of it!

On the other hand, Mercury in ecliptic opposition to the star / nebula Eta Carinae reveals the possibility of a positive and clear communication with self-centered peope, with very strong opinions. Eta Carinae corresponds with very strong personalities, as it is one of biggest stars in our galaxy. It can only grab attention! If there is something to deal with someone like this, communication can be very fluid today. If it is more about oneself, it is a good time to contemplate one's own ego and look at it realistically and objectively. It's as contemplating our ego through the mirror of what one thinks and says. Contemplate your mind, and have a very good opportunity to learn from yourself, anlayzing your stream of thoughts. Good luck!

October 20th: Mars and Mercury in contra parallel make us think about our actions, Venus meets the Swan Nebula in harmony through positive encounters

October 20th: Mars and Mercury in contra parallel indicate the need to balance impulses with ideas, to think about what we do, to think before acting and speaking. It is possible to put concepts into practice easily, and give energy to situations that require action. On the other hand, this combination stimulates mental activity a lot, which may be useful to advance in domestic situations, work in general, and especially in travel, communication, writing, paperwork... We must move freely, otherwise, control might cause irritations, which would be unfortunate given the harmonic trend happening at the same time. Venus conjunct the Swan Nebula (M17) and at 30° from the North Lunar Node. This certainly speaks of a strong power of attraction, which can manifest at a sexual level, in friendship or at work. Anyway, we must seize the momentum to approach the people we are interested in and join with others to overcome obstacles or generate common projects. The Swan Nebula combined with Venus strongly favors artistic and aesthetic work, so there can be very enriching experience in these areas today and tomorrow... Enjoy!

August 13th: Pluto and the Swan Nebula square Juno and reveal a great intensity in relationships, which must be handled with caution

August 13th: Pluto conjunct the Swan Nebula (M17), square Juno, at 135° from the Sun and Venus. This combination represents heavy strain on relationships, a tendency to manipulate and get into power games. Hidden information is likely to surface, causing surprise and controversy; there might be significant break-ups. Of course, knowing this can make us be aware of the general trend in order to avoid beeing hooked on it. In any case, it is possible to get advantage of this combination if we grab it from the positive side, which is about intensity and deepness, two of the plutonian qualities. This is good for team research,  refects intensity in the arts, stands for intimate confessions, psychoanalysis, and in some cases, good business too. If you do not want to experience this intensity, then it is better not to promote discussions and let important negotiations to be postponed for a more harmonious day. Relationships with already existing tensions will tend to enter a crisis stage, so it is generally best to avoid difficult encounters. However, more evolved relations, in which the struggle for control has been surpassed, can go through a phase of profound and intense union, based on sharing a transcendent knowledge. August 12th: Ceres at 30° from Neptune and star cluster M15 emphasizes once again the theme of altruism and help for the needy. It also touches on the subject of injustice and highlights abuse in all its varieties. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid exposure to situations where there is no balance and a fair exchange, as well as cooperating to correct injustice. Any help in this regard will be valuable and will bring good consequences ...
The Sun in opposition to star cluster M30 and at 45° from Juno points to the need to establish agreements and commitments with others, to make plans, to set common goals. This is in order to compensate for disagreements and situations beyond control. This is a moment that requires commitment, both in relationships and in friendships, as well as within the family, at work, and of course at a social level. The lack of cooperation will bring a lot of friction and hinder progress.
Venus in contraparallel to the Swan Nebula and at 135° from Uranus highlights more or less the same issue, inviting us to avoid self-centered behaviour, changing individualistic attitudes and participate in social activities, either recreational or activism, and anything in between! We must dissolve selfish attitudes, through the pleasure of living, of participating, of living in union...
