August 21/22: The solar eclipse in opposition to star cluster M15 confronts us with our own human discord and asks us to work on it
Eclipses are important events from the astrological point of view, as they point to the themes that will predominate in the general environment and in our personal experience during the six months after the celestial event takes place. Terrestrial events related to an eclipse can normally be seen before it actually happens, and this is very true of the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. The atmosphere in the two weeks before the eclipse is of discord , confrontations, terrorism, disgusting policies, destruction ... Is this indicated by the solar eclipse? What can we do about it?
The eclipse happens in the 28th degree of the zodiacal sign Leo (tropical Leo, NOT the constellation). On the other side of the celestial sphere, in the constellation of Pegasus, the Winged Horse, is stellar cluster M15. The eclipse and M15 are in ecliptic opposition, which means that the eclipse is itself a factor that balances or contradicts M15. What does M15 represent? To understand it, it is necessary to analyze its physical characteristics. A cluster of stars is similar to a city, in which a large number of individuals coexist in the same space. And just as all cities have rules of traffic and behavior, stars in clusters are regulated by gravitational laws. This causes each star to occupy its space within the gravitational pressure exerted by the others.
Sometimes, however, as is the case with M15, the gravitational pressure is so great that it collapses, and then the distances and positions of the stars are no longer regulated by collective pressure. Each one moves within the cluster in a more or less anarchic way. In M15, this situation is accentuated by the fact that it contains many stars and objects very different from each other. It has several pulsars (supernova remnants), a planetary nebula (a dying star) and many variable stars that change their luminosity constantly and suggest instability.
M15 indicates a difficult coexistence, in which rules are broken, anarchy prevails, and the differences between the individuals are more important than the coincidences. M15 is in the 29th degree of the zodiacal sign Aquarius (tropical Aquarius, NOT the constellation), whose tendency is definitely individualistic. That being said, anyone who has been in contact with the news in the last two weeks may realize that the eclipse and its opposition to M15 perfectly describe the awakening of racism and a resurgence of terrorism at an international scale. If this is happening already at the time of the eclipse, it means that this is the trend that will prevail over the next six months. We better be prepared to handle it and transform it.
An eclipse always leaves us something to work on, both collectively and individually. At the collective level, it is a matter of balancing these destructive tendencies which promote hatred and discord. The eclipse is in opposition to M15, therefore, its task is to balance, to make a counterweight, to resist racism, war and destruction. Taking into account that the eclipse happens in the sign of Leo, the situation becomes dramatic, open, visible and persistent. This is not a single-event phenomenon, the eclipse will last for six months and surely many things related to it will happen. However, as a society, it is our duty to express ourselves firmly to stop the destruction of social structures and natural resources.
As individuals, we can work out differences with more awareness, purposely directing our energy towards the healing of discord, however small. If we heal ourselves, we are healing the planet, if we heal our relationships, we extend this health. What does "healing" mean here? Understanding that coexistence in freedom is impossible if there is no respect for the basic rights of others. Philosophies that rely on the power of one over another do not work in this scheme, and in fact, may destroy it. We live in a global civilization, whether we like it or not, and the eclipse asks us to act accordingly. Nationalisms do not work unless we consider the planet as our Great Motherland.
Somehow, M15 portrays the difficult situation in which we find our civilization: too many people in discord on the same planet. Well, if that's the disease, that's where the cure comes from. Like everything in human experience, M15 has a positive side as well: it is the understanding that everyone has their place and function, and that we can coexist with other people who have different points of view. It may not be so terrible and can be enriching. In the worst of cases, the eclipse will exacerbate existing tensions, forcing those involved to work and constructively resolve their differences. Many will find it difficult to do so.
In its highest manifestation, M15 speaks of freedom in coexistence. The diversity of ways of life and thought should be a source of cultural enrichment and not of discord. But ego and resentment prevent us from expressing this in a positive way. Well, at least now we will not have pretexts to postpone the necessary work on discord and make personal and collective fronts to protect ourselves and start transcending into a better, kinder social contract, with freedom and without violence.

Agosto 21/22: El eclipse solar en oposición al cúmulo estelar M15 nos confronta con nuestra propia discordia y nos pide trabajar sobre ella
Los eclipses son eventos importantes desde el punto de vista astrológico, pues marcan los temas que predominarán en el ambiente general y en nuestra experiencia y trabajo personales durante los seis meses posteriores al evento celeste. Pero la realidad es que los eventos terrestres relacionados con un eclipse pueden dejarse ver desde antes, y esto es muy cierto en relación al eclipse solar del 21 de Agosto 2017. El ambiente que se ha tenido en las dos semanas anteriores al eclipse es de discordia, confrontaciones, terrorismo, políticas nefastas, destrucción... ¿Acaso esto está indicado por el eclipse solar? ¿Qué es lo que podemos hacer al respecto?
El eclipse sucede en el grado 28° del signo de Leo (Leo tropical, NO la constelación). Del otro lado de la esfera celeste, en la constelación de Pegasus, el Caballo Alado, se encuentra el cúmulo estelar M15. El eclipse y M15 se encuentran en oposición eclíptica, lo que quiere decir que el eclipse es en sí un factor que equilibra o contradice a M15. ¿Qué es lo que M15 representa? Para entenderlo, es necessario analizar sus características. Un cúmulo de estrellas es similar a una ciudad, en la cual un gran número de individuos coexisten en el mismo espacio. Y así como todas las ciudades tienen reglas de tránsito y comportamiento, las estrellas en los cúmulos son reguladas por leyes gravitatorias. Esto hace que cada estrella ocupe su espacio dentro de la presión gravitacional ejercida por las demás.
Sin embargo, como sucede con M15, a veces la presión gravitacional es tanta que colapsa, y entonces las distancias y posiciones de las estrellas no se regulan más por la presión colectiva, sino que cada quien se mueve dentro del cúmulo de una manera más o menos anárquica. En el caso de M15, esta situación es acentuada por el hecho de que tienen muchas estrellas y objetos diferentes entre sí... varios pulsares (remanentes de supernova), una nebulosa planetaria (estrella agonizante) y muchas estrellas variables, que cambian su luminosidad constantemente y sugieren inestabilidad.
M15 indica una coexistencia difícil, en la cual las reglas se rompen, predomina la anarquía, y las diferencias son más importantes que los puntos en común. M15 se encuentra en el grado 29° del signo de Acuario (Acuario tropical, no la constelación), cuya tendencia es definitivamente individualista. Dicho esto, es obvio que cualquier persona que haya estado en contacto con las noticias en las dos últimas semanas podrá darse cuenta que el eclipse y su oposición a M15 describen perfectamente el despertar del racismo y un recrudecimiento del terrorismo a escala internacional. Si esto está sucediendo ya en el momento del eclipse, quiere decir que este ambiente es el que predominará a lo largo de los próximos seis meses. Más vale que nos vayamos preparando para manejarlo y transformarlo.
Un eclipse siempre nos deja algo qué trabajar, tanto a nivel colectivo como individual. En el plano colectivo, se trata de equilibrar estas tendencias destructivas y que promueven el odio y la discordia. El eclipse está en oposición a M15, por lo tanto, su tarea consiste en equilibrar, en hacer un contrapeso, en llevar la contra al racismo, la guerra y la destrucción. Tomando en cuenta que el eclipse sucede en el signo de Leo, la situación se vuelve dramática, abierta, visible y persistente. No bastará con un evento, la vigencia del eclipse es de seis meses y seguramente pasarán muchas cosas al respecto, pero como sociedad, nuestro deber es manifestarnos con firmeza para detener la destrucción de las estructuras sociales y de los recursos naturales.
Como individuos, podemos trabajar las diferencias con más conciencia, dirigiendo con propósito nuestra energía hacia la sanación de la discordia, por pequeña que sea. Si sanamos nosotros mismos, estamos sanando al planeta, si sanamos nuestras relaciones, extendemos esta salud. ¿Qué significa sanación? Entender que la coexistencia en libertad es imposible si no hay respeto por los derechos básicos de los demás. Las filosofías que se basan en el poder de unos sobre otros, no funcionan en este esquema, y de hecho, lo destruyen. Vivimos en una civilización global, nos guste o no, y el eclipse nos pide que actuemos de acuerdo a ello. Los nacionalismos no funcionan a menos que consideremos al planeta como nuestra Gran Patria.
De alguna manera, M15 retrata la situación difícil en la que se encuentra nuetra civilización: demasiadas personas en discordia en el mismo planeta. Pues si esa es la enfermedad, de ahí viene la cura. Como todo en la experiencia humana, M15 tiene un lado positivo también y es el entender que cada quien tiene su lugar y función, y que podemos convivir con otras personas que tengan puntos de vista diferentes. tal vez no sea tan terrible y puede resultar enriquecedor. En el peor de los casos, el eclipse exacerbará las tensiones existentes, forzando a los involucrados a trabajar y resolver constructivamente sus diferencias. A muchos les resultará difícil hacerlo.
En su sentido más elevado, M15 nos habla de la libertad en la coexistencia. La diversidad de modos de vida y de pensamiento debería ser motivo de enriquecimiento cultural y no de discordia, pero el ego y el resentimiento por el pasado nos lo impiden. Bueno, al menos ahora no tendremos pretextos para posponer el trabajo sobre ello y hacer frentes personales y colectivos para empezar a trascender hacia un mejor contrato social, libre y sin violencia.

Lunar Eclipse squares Pluto, in ecliptic conjunction to the Sombrero Galaxy (M104) and parallel to the Great Orion Nebula (M42), indicating dramatic events in society and the economy while increasing productivity
The Lunar Eclipse of April 4, 2015 presents indicators of drastic changes as it enhances the intense square between Uranus and Pluto, indicating a semester of renewal, in which our goals as a species and as individuals are questioned

During a lunar eclipse, the Earth is aligned with the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the lunar surface, temporarily suspending the constant barrage of light and particles from the Sun. It is actually a darkened Full Moon, which in symbolic terms means a consciousness that is dipped momentarily in the Unconscious. During a lunar eclipse, the consciousness represented by the Full Moon is soaked directly on the universe's pond, which represents the collective plane. The Moon stops reflecting the solar ego for a few moments, and instead, connects with a higher plane. At such times, the Moon has two dark sides and is fully immersed in the collective unconscious, which imprints its characteristic mark in that moment. The eclipse points towards a specific point of the celestial sphere which symbolizes an area in which we must acquire a greater awareness to evolve. And that happens here, on the Earth's surface. Since the period of influence is six months-until the next eclipse happens, the astrological chart for that moment reveals some important trends during the next six months
A drastic, extremist and innovative trend
The point where the eclipse happens indicates an area in which we acquire and expand our consciousness. The eclipse of April 4, 2015, makes us take a very straightforward look into the abuse of economic and political power. Of course, we don't need an eclipse to happen to let modern civilization manifest its abusive patterns, but it seems that this time, the lunar eclipse will function as a push to accelerate the process of change already going on with the square between Uranus and Pluto, which is effective since 2011. The eclipse happens in almost exact square (90 °) to Pluto, a planet associatedastrologically with profound changes. Pluto, by the way, will be visited by a spacecraft next July (Do not miss the coverage!). The eclipse is also in opposition to Uranus, which is 2 ° from the Sun. Uranus represents revolutions, adding to Pluto's extremist trend.
In short, the eclipse accentuates the tendency to change but also to extremism and abuse of power. On this occasion, the eclipse is conjunct the Sombrero Galaxy (M104). This galaxy has several interesting features: it moves at high speed (1,000 km per second), has a colossal black hole of 1 billion solar masses, and a lane of dark dust which is very bright in the infrared spectrum. Of these features, perhaps the most important one is the massive black hole at its center, which undoubtedly speaks of a great power of attraction, although quite exaggerated, which suggests the theme of abuse of power. Considering that M104 is very bright in the infrared, its relationship with the material world and the economy becomes clear. If we combine the two meanings, we have a great manipulation coming from the established economic power (and therefore political). If we include the Uranus / Pluto square, the idea that comes to mind is a great crisis in the global economy provoked by the corporations who hold economic power internationally. The picture does not look very encouraging ...
Awareness of abuse and radicalization
This manipulation is precisely the one to be aware of. Humanity must face consciously the extent of the damage caused by it. Unfortunately, at the collective level this suggests that the irrational over-exploitation of natural resources and disasters are likely to interfere with the normal productivity in several regions of the planet. It implies becoming aware of the danger that radicalization implies for the balance of civilization. The events related to the eclipse, as the massacre at the University of Kenya, tragically highlight the need to evolve rapidly towards a greater harmony ... After all, the eclipse happens in the zodiac sign of Libra, which represents coexistence and harmony. Actually, what the eclipse points out is that what we need to grow as a society to strengthen coexistence, so we do not radicalize, divide, confront, and ultimately dominate, kill and destroy. The planet belongs to everyone and there is room for everyon; it seems we have to remember this each time we hurt ourselves or the environment.
The eclipse, conjunct with extremely fast Sombrero Galaxy, can speed up the story, and coincide with dramatic events that make us question fundamental issues about our society and civilization. The regular sense of time can be distorted and make us feel that things are moving too fast. The semester will be over before we realize it... But changes can be for good, despite the heartbreaking news, we may also hear about great advances in terms of creating a new, different and better world. We need to generate constructive alternatives to balance the destruction we've done. What is certain is that there is no place for stability unless we fight to move to the next stage as a species and as a society. Unfortunately, the collective consciousness has to go through tragic steps to acquire this awareness, as happened with the world wars, the atomic bomb and many other disastrous events.
Productivity to balance
Since no one can avoid this destructive trend in social terms while the Uranus/Pluto is still in effect (begins to fade at the end of April) at least it is possible to redirect our goals with greater awareness at an individual level . During these months ahead, we will gain a greater consciousness of our individual position in the collective process we are living. The lunar eclipse occurs in parallel (the same declination or distance from The Celestial Equator) with the Great Orion Nebula (M42), a stellar region with the highest rate of star production in the galaxy. So, against all odds, it is possible to emphasize our productivity in any area, as a way to compensate for destruction. In a real sense, M42 is like a Great Mother by the large number of newborn stars that are being creating in its interior. M42 is a project incubator, and this means that the eclipse also triggers a productive wave that can be beneficial for those who are aware of it and are willing to take advantage of it.
The question is to observe and spot the area that begins to manifest this productivity, at during the month of April or perhaps even May. Once we identify where is this happening in our life, we must act decisively on this during the coming months. Similarly, sowing seeds and starting projects in the next two weeks will make these bloom during the next semester. Thus, we can connect to a productive impulse that can be helpful in case the economy collapses or wobbles.
Awareness of the individual role in the collective development
It seems this can be a very productive semester despite the disastrous conditions at the international level. It is important to be aware of the role we have individually within the political and economic system in which we live. M42, the Great Nebula in Orion, is full of resources, but the Sombrero Galaxy can abuse them. It is our duty to protect the planet before it's too late, and this semester can be decisive for it. Failure to act on it can be harmful ... Let's start becoming aware of what we do to worsen or improve the situation on this planet!
Each and every one of us has a place in the socio-economic system and in the planet. Our decisions count. Such is the distilled message of the April 2051 lunar eclipse ...

Tendencia drástica, extremista y renovadora
De esta manera, el punto en el cual sucede el eclipse señala un área en la cual debemos adquirir y ampliar nuestra conciencia. En el caso del eclipse de Abril 4, 2015, se trata de conscientizar el efecto del abuso del poder económico y político. Por supuesto, no es necesario que suceda un eclipse para que la civilización actual manifieste sus abusos, pero parece que en esta ocasión, el eclipse lunar funcionará como un empujón para acelerar el proceso de cambio, ya de por sí acentuado con la cuadratura entre Urano y Plutón, que está vigente desde el año 2011. El eclipse en sí sucede en cuadratura (90°) casi exacta a Plutón, un planeta relacionado con cambios profundos, y que será visitado por una sonda espacial el próximo Julio (¡No se lo pierdan!). También el eclipse está en oposición a Urano, que está a 2° Sol. Urano representa revoluciones, tendencias renovadoras pero también extremistas.
En pocas palabras, el eclipse acentúa la tendencia al cambio, pero también al extremismo y el abuso del poder. En esta ocasión, el punto eclipsado está en conjunción eclíptica a la Galaxia del Sombrero (M104). Esta galaxia tiene varias características interesantes: se mueve a una gran velocidad (1,000 km por segundo), tiene un colosal hoyo negro de 1 billón de masas solares, y una banda de polvo oscuro muy brillante en el espectro infrarrojo. De estas características, quizás la más relevante sea el descomunal hoyo negro en su centro, que indudablemente habla de un gran poder de atracción, pero exagerado, lo que lleva a pensar en el abuso del poder. Tomando en cuenta que es muy brillante en el infrarrojo, se deduce su relación con el mundo material y la economía. Si juntamos los dos significados, tenemos una gran manipulación de parte del poder económico (y por lo tanto el político) vigentes en la actualidad. Si incluimos a la cuadratura Urano/Plutón, la idea que surge es un gran crisis en la economía mundial causada por una manipulación de las corporaciones que detienen el poder económico a nivel internacional. El panorama no suena muy alentador en el plano internacional...
Conciencia del abuso del poder y la radicalización
Esta manipulación es justamente la que hay que conscientizar, para que la humanidad tenga clara cuál es su magnitud. Desafortunadamente, en el plano colectivo esto se refiere a la sobre-explotación irracional de los recursos naturales, y probablemente a desastres que interfieran con la productividad normal en varias regiones del planeta. También se refiere a tomar conciencia del peligro que implica la radicalización para el equilibrio de la civilización. Los eventos relacionados con el eclipse, como la matanza en la universidad de Kenia, señalan trágicamente la necesidad de evolucionar rápidamente hacia una mayor armonía... Después de todo, el eclipse sucede en el signo zodiacal de Libra, que representa la convivencia y la armonía. Pero en realidad, lo que puntualiza es lo que tenemos que desarrollar como sociedad para fortalecer la convivencia y no radicalizar, dividir, confrontar, forzar y en última instancia, asesinar y destruir. El planeta es de todos y hay espacio para cada uno, parece que tenemos que recordarlo cada vez que, en vez de convivir, nos destruimos más.
El eclipse en conjunción a la enormemente veloz Galaxia del Sombrero, puede acelerar la historia, y coincidir con eventos drásticos que nos hagan cuestionar cuestiones fundamentales de nuestra sociedad y civilización. El sentido del tiempo puede distorsionarse y hacernos sentir que las cosas están pasando demasiado rápido. Cuando nos demos cuenta, el semestre habrá pasado. Pero los cambios pueden ser para bien, y a pesar de las noticias desgarradoras, también es posible que haya grandes avances en términos de crear un mundo nuevo, diferente, y mejor. Se trata de generar alternativas constructivas para equilibrar la destrucción. Lo que sí es seguro, es que no habrá lugar para la estabilidad a menos que luchemos por pasar a la siguiente etapa como especie y como sociedad. Y desafortunadamente, la conciencia colectiva tiene que pasar por etapas trágicas para adquirir esta conciencia, como sucedió con las guerras mundiales, la bomba atómica y muchos otros eventos funestos.
Productividad para equilibrar
Y ya que no se puede evitar la tendencia destructiva en el plano social, debido a Urano y Plutón, al menos en el plano individual es posible redirigir nuestros objetivos con una mayor conciencia. Durante estos seis meses que vienen, nos quedará claro en dónde estamos individualmente en el esquema colectivo y social en el cual se están dando los cambios. El eclipse lunar sucede en paralelo (la misma declinación o distancia del Ecuador Celeste) con la Gran Nebulosa de Orión, una de las regiones de mayor productividad estelar en la galaxia. De modo que, a pesar de todo, también es posible enfatizar nuestras actitudes productiva en cualquier área, como una manera de compensar tanta destrucción. En un sentido positivo, M42 es como una Gran Madre por la gran cantidad de estrellas recién nacidas que está creando en su interior. Es una incubadora de proyectos, y esto quiere decir que el eclipse también desencadena una ola productiva que puede ser beneficiosa para quienes tomen conciencia de ello.
La cuestión es observar en qué área se empieza a manifestar dicha productividad, al menos durante el mes de Abril o principios de Mayo. Una vez que veamos en dónde se manifiesta, hay que actuar decididamente sobre ello en los meses que vienen. De la misma manera, el sembrar semillas e iniciar proyectos en las dos semanas siguientes al eclipse hará que estos fructiferen durante el siguiente semestre. Así, podemos engancharnos en un tren productivo que puede ser de gran ayuda si la economía colapsa o se tambalea en el mundo.
Conciencia del papel individual en el desarrollo colectivo
Este puede ser un semestre muy productivo a pesar de lo desastroso de las condiciones en el plano internacional. Como sea, es importante tomar conciencia del papel que tenemos individualmente dentro del sistema político y económico en el que vivimos. M42, la Gran Nebulosa de Orión, está llena de recursos, pero la Galaxia del Sombrero puede abusar de ellos. Es nuestro deber proteger al planeta antes de que sea demasiado tarde, y este semestre puede ser decisivo para ello. El no actuar sobre ello puede ser perjudicial... ¡Empecemos por tomar conciencia de lo que hacemos para empeorar o mejorar la situación!
Porque todos y cada uno de nosotros, tenemos un peso en el sistema y en el planeta. Y nuestras decisiones cuentan. Eh aquí la esencia del eclipse lunar de Abril 2015...

The total solar eclipse and the equinox, together with galaxy M100, star cluster M2 and nebula M78, indicate a revolutionary period, with important insights and a struggle against passivity
The analysis of the combined phenomenon of the eclipse and equinox in March 2015 indicates a revolutionary, confrontational period in which society reflects on itself, but is confronted with its own negligence
Eclipse + Equinox = events of global importance
The first solar eclipse of 2015 occurs almost simultaneously with the vernal equinox. The unusual combination of two important astronomical events has a general meaning internationally. The equinoctial point is something like the "navel of the celestial sphere" where the Celestial Equator and the Zodiac converge, and is actually the beginning of the annual seasonal cycle, the true beginning of the year. Undoubtedly, an eclipse falling on the equinoctial point is related to events and global phenomena that will change the course of society and are not just fleeting.
It is striking to note that the solar eclipse of March 2015 is actually the reflection of one that happened four decades ago: the eclipse of September 22, 1968. While the 1968 eclipse fell in the last degree of the zodiac sign of Virgo followed immediately by the equinox, in March 2015 the eclipse falls in the last degree of Pisces, exactly in the opposite degree of the zodiac, on the other side of the sky. And if we judge the effect of the eclipse from the events that happened simultaneously, you can see clearly that the binding of an eclipse and an equinox is powerful and matches events affecting all of humanity or at least, many people. The social movements of the 60's culminated in 1968, a year in which there were widespread protests in various parts of the world, and specifically in Mexico, the massacre of protesters in Tlatelolco prior to the Olympic Games.
The similarities between 1968 and 2015
Eventually, and even if there is (still) no trial for those responsible for the genocide and repression, the painful and disturbing effect of the event has fueled a lot of social movements in Mexico. Moreover, in several parts of the world, 1968 is recalled as a revolutionary and intense year, with events like the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia, the launch of Apollo 7 (the first manned and televised mission), the electoral victory of Richard Nixon, the launch of the musical Hair, the first concert of Led Zeppelin, the Vietnam War, the premiere of the film classic Rosemary's Baby, the Olympics in Mexico, the death of Helen Keller, the first women's national congress in the United States, the first atomic bomb French, and many other events that have gained a massive meaning over time, the ttrue landmarks of the 1960's. The eclipse of September 22, 1968 occurred simultaneously with the equinox, but also in conjunction to Uranus, planet whose astrological significance is renewal, rebellion, freedom, change ...
In March 2015, we have an eclipse that falls exactly on the opposite point of the zodiac, just before the equinox, and coincides with strong tensions between the US and Venezuela, the civil war in Syria, the electoral victory of Netanyahu in Israel, several probes space orbiting Venus, Mars, Saturn, Ceres and Pluto, a general political crises around the planet, a nuclear accident out of control in Fukushima, the premiere of Citizenfour (documentary about Edward Snowden), terrorist attacks and protests in many parts of world, among many other significant events.
A revolution within our civilization's structure
Any similarites? 2015 may be considered the "68" of the second decade of theXXIst century. However, the eclipse of March 20 does not happen in conjunction to Uranus, but in opposition to galaxy M100, located in the constellation Coma Berenices. M100 is a huge spiral galaxy of great beauty because of its symmetry, corresponding to the concepts of balance, harmony, justice and equity. However, within this beauty were detected five supernova explosions, which imply a strong tendency to drastic change, but also for reflection, introspection and insights (because of their intense X-ray emission).
In other words, the harmony and justice of M100 have a cost, and this, in human terms, is the tendency to revolutionize a giant and apparently stable structure (like our civilization). The solar eclipse in opposition to M100 indicates the activation of a revolutionary, renovating as well as destructive tendency within the capitalist system in which we are living. If we compare the dynamics of M100 with present circumstances on Earth, it is clear that the structure of global civilization is heading through a strong jolt, or rather through a series of shocks during the next six months. This is nothing new, as the process of development and decadence of a civilization may extend over centuries or millennia, but 2015 can definitely be more intense than other phases, and it seems that the eclipse announces the start of a particularly conflictive semester in the world.
To get an idea of the effects of the combination of an eclipse with an equinox, it should be noted the years in which this double phenomenon has appeared in the past: 1810 (start of the War of Independence in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and other countries), 1820 (revolution in Portugal, independence of Ecuador, the Radical War in Scotland, death of King George III in England), 1829 (Greek independence, war between Russia and Turkey), and more recently, 1987 (sighting of the first supernova 1987A modern times, devastating tornadoes in hurricanes in the US and England, the Securities balls in the world play ends, the intifada in Gaza, several dramatic plane crashes, sinking of a ferry in Belgium, etc.). Of course, you don't need both astronomical phenomena to come together for there to find problematic situations in the world, but this can give us an idea of how this combination relates to important events, often disturbing, in the development of our civilization .
As in 1968, it is possible that the eclipse of March 2015 matches a widespread social, cultural, spiritual and economic renewal through a series of events whose effect will be better grasped in the long-term, but the powerful seeds will begin to sprout regeneration, popping as fungi in the rain, in differents parts of the world. The violence of M100's supernovae is accompanied by strong insights. In any case, it is a good opportunity for waking up. The typical confrontations between governments, corporations, extremist groups and the world's population, have more and more people waking up from their relative unconsciousness and becoming aware of the reality in which they are. Let's hope they will act accordingly!
Divergence and contemplation
And with so much turmoil around us within our (apparently) civilized society, what options do we have as individuals to channel and take advantage of the fresh impetus of this Eclipse / Equinox and the enormous and regenerative galaxy M100? Perhaps the clue can be found in the other celestial objects related to the Moon and the Sun, the main characters of this event. The Moon is in contra parallel to M2, a star cluster in the constellation Aquarius. M2 is interesting in the sense that its orbit around the Milky Way is almost perpendicular to the plane of the galactic Equator. This means that M2 is separated or opposed to common thinking, precisely indicated by the Equator - the plane in which most celestial bodies orbite our galaxy.
M2 is itself an indicator of rebellion and divergence; and, if the Moon astrologically represents the masses, then we will see in various parts of the world people drifting from a conventional thinking, submitted to the Status Quo. In any case, circumstances will allow people to have a distanced view of their own social processes, and therefore more realistic and objective. Contemplation is necessary, and, as individuals, in our personal lives, we can certainly see circumstances more objectively to spot our current position within the whole we live in. It is a good semester to stay away from conventional customs and try new ways that correspond more to our individual needs.
Fight against passivity
The eclipsed Sun is in contra parallel to M78, a reflection nebula (which reflects the light of nearby stars) in the constellation Orion. Reflection nebulae are like mirrors that reflect, but do not affect the exterior, and can manifest passively. In M78, this is even more true, with two stars of type B (with a mental, intellectual trend) illuminating the entire cloud. In short, the tendency is to insight, but in a passive manner that severely limits the corresponding actions.
This may illustrate how society witnesses atrocities and contemplates drastic changes without doing anything. As individuals, reflection is important to take advantage of the insights, but certainly action is needed as a consequence. In this sense, the Eclipse / Equinox of March 20, 2015 confronts us with situations in which we manifest an extreme passivity, and forces us (with M100's five supernovae) to transcend indolence or neglect and revolutionize areas that need it. Passivity, either in society or in individuals, may be useful to understand, but in itself it may become an obstacle to manage changes in a positive way.
Thus, the dual phenomenon of the eclipse and equinox, linked by their proximity in time can be open in 2015 opportunities for dissent, for reflection, to understand and contemplate, and points out to the passivity of society towards governments, extremist groups and corporations that manipulate. We will see the result over the coming six months, but it should be clear that the eclipse does not force us to remain passive or cause violent changes: that is our responsibility as a species and as a society. It's just an indicator and a reminder of the circumstances in which we find ourselves: in the midst of widespread social revolution that can hardly contemplate itself if no such cosmic help comes. We can read the message or choose to ignore it.
Collective and individual awakening
Social or individual revolutionsare usually accompanied by important insights, which are often the motivation for change. As the Hexagram #20 of the I Ching, the Book of Changes, says, contemplation of our own acts arises a transforming power. A society that does not look at the mirror nor develops self.criticism is subject to political and economic interests that pollute everything and corrupt the social fabric. An individual who is not aware of his position in the scheme of things, is asleep and is part of a manipulable mass.
The eclipse's message is clear: we must awaken from our passivity and make the appropriate changes, both in society and in personal life.
Will we be able to do so? We'll see... Let's check on the development of circumstances during the next six months... What is certain is that there won't be many opportunities to get bored!

The partial solar eclipse happens in conjunction to Venus, in contraparallel to spiral galaxy M95, in opposition to open cluster M52,triggering the emergence of new myths and the unification of minds onthe planet
Partial Solar Eclipse: separation of wills
Every six months, the Moon passes in front of the Sun, obscuring its disc momentarily and creating a shaded area on the surface of Earth. Sometimes, as in the case of the eclipse of October 23rd, 2014, the Moon only partially hides the face of the Sun, due to a difference in their declination: they are not close enough, as seen from Earth, to make their disks match one above the other. When the Moon completely obscures the Sun's disk, they are symbolically unified in order to start their new cycle, both emphasizing one or another issue in our lives. These issues are deducted from the celestial objects that they are aligned.with.
However, in a partial solar eclipse, the Sun and Moon are separate: a total agreement is not possible, their wills are separate.
Thus, in the period of six months following any partial solar eclipse, it is expected that the concept of separation will dominate the general atmosphere. If this means separation from harmful elements in our lives, both personally and collectively, we can consider this trend positive. But it is clear that in many cases this trend will represent difficulties to agree. In any case, we will have to face them and solve them as individuals as well as collectively.. The Sun represents governments, the executive powers and ideals who lead an entire nation. The Moon in turn, represents the people and the masses, the collective consciousness. More than
ever, in these turbulent times, the government/people divergence can be deepened.
The eclipse as a trigger for the Uranus / Pluto square
We must remember that, since the year 2011 and until 2015, humanity
has been experiencing the difficult process of the Uranus/Pluto square, which intensifies and dramatizes the cultural revolutionary trend whose cycle began in 1965/1966, with the conjunction of these two planets. The
atmosphere is loaded with gunpowder and just a spark is needed to make
the bomb explode. In these circumstances, the Sun's partial eclipse
today, with its tendency to separation and dissent, is likely to trigger radical changes in the history of mankind. But from that painful confrontation new
social trends may arise, those that will prevail during the coming decades.
The eclipse occurs in very close conjunction with Venus, a planet
that represents social ties. The separation might be between
the masses and their governments, but apparently, and judging by the
mass demonstrations in the days before the eclipse, Venus is a strong connecting factor between people. The trend indicates that people will unite their wills in disagreement with governments. This does not mean that all countries will experience this situation, but it stands to reason that the most unstable ones, socially speaking, will do.
A regenerative and unifying effect
It will certainly be an interesting semester. Besides social change, we can also accelerate our individual growth and "dissent" from the harmful elements that exist in our lives. The eclipse, in this regard, favors detachment of situations, people, ideas, processes not allowing us to
evolve. If we do so, it is possible that the semester will end up being
interesting and regenerative. Resistance to release destructive factors can generate much stress and strong internal crisis. The best would be to cooperate with this atmosphere of change and release what is hurting us. Moreover, the eclipse falls on the first degree of the zodiac sign of Scorpio, famous because of its archetypal meaning of regeneration, death and
resurrection.
However, the eclipse is aligned in contra parallel to galaxy M95, a spiral galaxy in the constellation Leo. This galaxy is characterized by its fertility: it has a ring around its core in which there are numerous, recently
formed, star clusters. A star cluster is like a family, representing a particular social trend, and having several clusters organized around a ring suggests the sum of different wills for the same goal. That is, on one hand, we have the partial solar eclipse, with its divergence and confrontation, and secondly, we have a unique opportunity to unify our wills towards a common goal. It would be wonderful ifwe could take advantage of this eclipse in order to fight climate change, diseases (Ebola!), pollution, animal cruelty, war, hunger, discrimination and the many ills that afflict humanity. Since M95 is highly productive, we may expect some concrete results, not just protests and discussions.
The birth of new ideals and myths
This solar eclipse carries, however, a highly ideological trend, too.
We can see this in the eclipse's opposition to star cluster M52. This cluster, which is in the constellation Cassiopeia, is characterized by a majority of B-type stars, which strongly emphasize idealism. However, it is not a deeply rooted one, as we are not dealing with traditions.. M52 is very young: it is only 35 million years old, which in cosmic terms is only a baby. Hence, it represents fresh thoughts and new, emerging ideals, which of course, are loaded with energy and a tendency to grow, just like a baby. As these trends emerge, it is not yet possible for us to define them or to reflect
objectively about then. The trend is to follow the tide in a somewhat thoughtless and impulsive way, just as a baby would. Therefore, we can also expect excesses, fanaticism, exaggerations and inconsistencies in this process.
What we are witnessing, by the effects of the eclipse/M52 combination is the emergence of new myths. And myths arise from historical facts, so we can expect that many of the events that occur in the following months in various parts of the world will be most significant. Their importance is not fleeting, but actually rooted in cultural life and the collective unconscious of nations... or maybe the world as a whole, as we are living in globalization times. M52 has also a peculiar star of type Of, which has an extremely high temperature, corresponding to the highest ideals of a person/nation: spiritual, political and scientific.
In a positive sense, this represents new discoveries and new technologies (yes, more than in recent years), the radicalization of religion, the strength of true spirituality, and the intensification of political/social
ideals that guide nations. This analysis may sound idealistic, but that is the nature of this eclipse. And we already know that, thanks to M95, this eclipse can give some tangible results. Humanity needs them urgently, the planet needs them urgently.
Personal and collective progress
In this way, the partial solar eclipse will show, in the 2014/2015 transition, the emergence of new paradigms for humanity which will have a significant weight on the following decades. Of course, it will take more than just one semester or one partial solar eclipse to fully digest and understand all this intensity. But, amid the present crisis of our civilization, iwe may have the strength to move into an evolutionary path, even if the process is dramatic at times. Personally, we can make a positive, conscious effort, striving to let go of what is hurting us. We must allow contradictions manifest within us, in order to transcend them, working on them during the following six months. If we solve these contradictions within ourselves, this will have an effect on the collective, as we are all comstituent cells of a whole society. And it seems that many of these individual cells are starting to awake, motivated by a refreshing idealism.Let's give it a constructive meaning in our reality, caring for the environment!

Mayo 24/25: El Eclipse penumbral de Luna en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M25 acentúa la fuerza de las convicciones, reflejando peligrosas actitudes extremas. Venus y Mercurio en conjunción a M79 equilibran la situación con una lección de tolerancia y aceptación.
Mayo 24/25: Mercurio y Venus están en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M79. Por sí solos, Mercurio y Venus representan una facilidad para dialogar y comunicarse con armonía. Pero la conjunción eclíptica con M79 implica una buena oportunidad para relacionarse positivamente con gente que se encuentra lejos de uno, tanto físicamente como en el plano emocional o mental. M79 es un cúmulo estelar inmigrante, es decir, se formó en otra galaxia: la enana de Canis Major. Esta galaxia enana ha sido absorbida por la Vía Láctea y está siendo gradualmente disuelta en ésta, sus estrellas siendo dispersadas a lo largo de su estructura. Así, M79 adquiere la connotación de algo que se importa desde lejos, desde otra realidad y se comienza a digerir.
La triple conjunción de Mercurio, Venus y M79 representa pues la oportunidad de entender y armonizar con personas o conceptos ajenos a nuestra realidad cotidiana. Es un excelente momento para tomar contacto con gente distante, gente nueva o diferente a la cotidiana, aceptar e integrar pensamientos o modos de ser diferentes. En un mundo en el cual hay tanta discordia e intolerancia, esta tendencia cae como una lluvia refrescante en medio de un panorama árido (ver más adelante). Y si alguna semilla de esta heterogeneidad logra germinar, hay que cuidarla, pues puede acabar creciendo y beneficiando a todos, dando paso a una mayor unión, tolerancia, respeto y amistad. Por cierto, Mercurio se encuentra en semisextil (a 30°) de Ceres, lo que indica que esta apertura puede ser muy efectiva para los negocios y la productividad material y financiera. ¡Aprovechen!
Sin embargo, el evento del fin de semana es sin duda el Eclipse de Luna en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M25, que se encuentra en la constelación de Sagitario. Este eclipse penumbral de Luna, como lo hemos mencionado en otros espacios de la Galactic Guide, representa una oportunidad de promover nuestras ideas con fuerza, pero también de medir las consecuencias que esta actitud puede tener. Todo depende del caso específico y la situación, pero en general este eclipse promueve una atmósfera intensa y extremista desde el punto de vista ideológico. La población estelar de M25 es básicamente una mezcla de estrellas de tipo espectral B, que simbolizan el plano mental, y de estrellas de tipo G, que representan la voluntad, la lucha y la autoafirmación. Resultado: ideas que se imponen.
Esto no es positivo en el plano general, ya que la humanidad está todavía en una etapa evolutiva en la cual las diferentes ideologías producen confrontaciones y discordia. El eclipse cae como una bomba que encenderá fuertemente los ánimos en cuestiones religiosas, políticas, sociales y económicas. Son de esperarse, a nivel internacional, actitudes extremas y abusos de poder, el uso de la fuerza y un aumento del odio entre partidos e ideologías opuestas.
Esto se dará, por lógica, en situaciones y ambientes en los cuales haya un nivel de conciencia bajo, en el cual la prioridad es imponer y dominar a través del pensamiento y las ideas. Pero un eclipse Lunar representa más bien una lección qué asimilar, y en este caso, se trata más que nada de medir las consecuencias que pueden tener las actitudes extremistas. ¡Como si nos hiciera falta! Una vez más los humanos, colectiva e individualmente, nos veremos confrontados con la necesidad de aprender, a través de experiencias dolorosas, que los extremos llevan a la destrucción, y que la moderación es el camino. Lo más probable es que haya algunos eventos qué lamentar al respecto durante los próximos seis meses, tiempo de vigencia del eclipse lunar. Pero el lado positivo de estas tragedias es que su exposición a un gran número de gente producirá, a través del horror, un crecimiento en la conciencia. Un impulso doloroso, es cierto, pero efectivo.
Afortunadamente, en el plano individual podemos hacer mucho más. Lo ideal sería que usáramos esta fuerza de las convicciones no para pelear e imponer, sino para promover ideas o conceptos que representen un progreso para los derechos humanos, para proteger a la Tierra, y para impulsar una tolerancia que nos hace falta tanto para convivir todos en el mismo planeta. Porque la debilidad y la falta de determinación para hacer prevalecer lo justo es tan nociva como tolerar con negligencia el abuso de la fuerza. Por ello, no se trata de negar el poder de las convicciones, sino de luchar ante todo, por el respeto, la tolerancia, la armonía, los derechos fundamentales del ser humano y de los animales y la protección de la naturaleza y de las causas justas. El dogmatismo y el abuso deben ser equilibrados con una fuerte determinación hacia la paz y la justicia.
El reto indicado por este eclipse penumbral de Luna es pues poner nuestras ideologías y egos en segundo plano para abrir nuestra mente a una conciencia superior. Y somos nosotros los que decidimos si este proceso será doloroso o armónico, no los astros. Ellos están en su propio proceso, y sólo reflejan, desde lejos, nuestra realidad, como grandiosos espejos.
¡Feliz eclipse! Y espero disfruten del maravilloso espectáculo que representa, aunando su belleza natural con su significado astrológico. ¡Es un doble placer!

May 9: The annular eclipse of the Sun conjunct Pallas and star cluster M103 invites us to materialize excellent ideas and to revise our thinking
May 9: The Annular Solar Eclipse is in ecliptic conjunction with Pallas and star cluster M103. A solar eclipse happens every six months, so, contrary what is sometimes believed, it is actually a regular and recurring phenomenon. An eclipse is usually a good indicator of the direction in which the overall development of the planet points to for about a semester. Knowing the atmosphere related to the eclipse is useful, as this allows us to flow with it consciously. After all, our human experience, collectively and individually, is part the development of the planet its evolutionary path. To know the trend of the eclipse is to know the trend of life during the next six months ..
The solar eclipse of 9/10 May 2013 happens in ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M103, located in the northern constellation Cassiopeia. M103 is a very young cluster, with just 25 million years of existence, representing new projects with a young, fresh impetus. These are likely to be favored by the eclipse. In addition, M103 contains almost exclusively stars of spectral type B, with two giants type M and K, a combination that translates to the need to carry out a project, to give value to ideas, to measure the practical consequences of our personal philosophy. These themes, which explore the relationship between the mind and the material world, will be of great importance in the coming months.
Possibly the option will arise to give shape to projects that have been latent, dormant or in stand-by for a while. And what better than the strong presence of the asteroid Pallas in this eclipse, as it is the best strategist in the solar system... Indeed, the conjunction of Pallas with the eclipse means plans that are implemented, applied, taking shape through an ordered structure. However, there is no great hurry, the eclipse is in Taurus, zodiac sign of patience. Further, the effect of this will last until November 2013, but during this period continuous and persistent efforts will be worth more useful than wasting all the energy in an initial, passing flare.
You may need to modify your original ideas if they appear to have problems once you put them in practice. Some people will even go through a philosophical revolution in their minds. Others will reaffirm the consistency of their ideas if they flow properly in material terms. But everyone, in his/her individual experience, shall review the relationship between the mind and the material world, making the appropriate changes. There is no point in insisting on something that does not prove its validity in practice! In any case, it's better to start things anew, and that would be favorable, as the eclipse is also semisextile
(at 30 °) with Jupiter, an indicator of growth, development, progress. In this way, new approaches and new strategies are particularly favored, to be supported by this additional Jovian trend, especially in financial matters. Yes, despite the global crisis, it is still possible to find the necessary material support!
The eclipse of May 2013 indicates the possibility of gaining greater congruence. Humans tend to use their minds as if they were a separate entity from the material world and nature around. But part of our experience as a species is to learn to integrate mind and matter in a harmonious way. That is in our hands and this eclipse can show us how to move in that way if we want.

Mayo 9: Eclipse anular de Sol en conjunción a Palas y al cúmulo estelar M103. Cada seis meses hay un eclipse solar, por lo que, a pesar de lo que a veces se piensa, se trata de fenómenos regulares y recurrentes. Un eclipse suele ser un excelente indicador de la dirección que toma el desarrollo general del planeta durante un semestre. Conocer la atmósfera relacionada con el eclipse puede ser útil, ya que nos permite fluir con ella conscientemente. Después de todo, nuestra experiencia humana, colectiva e individual, está inmersa en el desarrollo del planeta y forma parte de su evolución. Conocer las tendencias del eclipse es conocer la tendencia de la vida y de nuestras vidas en los próximos seis meses..
El eclipse de Sol del 9/10 de Mayo 2013 sucede en conjunción eclíptica con el cúmulo estelar M103, que se encuentra en la constelación boreal de Cassiopeia. M103 es un cúmulo muy joven, con apenas 25 millones de años de existencia, por lo que representa nuevos proyectos y un impulso fresco, joven, que serán favorecidos por el eclipse. Además, M103 contiene casi exclusivamente estrellas de tipo espectral B y dos gigantes de tipo M y K, combinación que se traduce como la necesidad de materializar proyectos, de darle valor a las ideas, de medir las consecuencias prácticas de nuestra filosofía personal. Estos temas, que exploran la relación entre la mente y el mundo material, cobrarán gran importancia en los meses que vienen.
Posiblemente surja la opción darle forma a proyectos que han estado latentes durante cierto tiempo. Y qué mejor que la fuerte presencia del asteroide Palas en este eclipse, ya que es la mejor estratega del sistema solar... En efecto, la conjunción del eclipse a Palas significa planes que se aplican, que toman forma a través de una estructura ordenada. Sin embargo, no hay mucha prisa -el eclipse es en Tauro, signo zodiacal de la paciencia. El efecto de éste se extenderá hasta Noviembre del 2013, pero durante este período valdrá más un esfuerzo continuo y persistente que el agotar toda la energía en una llamarada inicial.
Posiblemente haya que modificar las ideas originales si presentan problemas en la práctica. Algunas personas deberán hacer una verdadera revolución filosófica en su mente. Otros reafirmarán la consistencia de sus ideas si éstas fluyen adecuadamente al materializarlas. Pero cada quien, en su experiencia individual, deberá revisar la relación de su mente con el mundo material y hacer los cambios pertinentes. ¡No tiene caso insistir en algo que no demuestra su validez en la práctica! En todo caso, es mejor volver a empezar, y eso sería favorable, ya que el eclipse también está en semisextil (a 30°) con Júpiter, un indicador de crecimiento, desarrollo, avances. Los nuevos enfoques y las nuevas estrategias son particularmente favorecidas, pues su crecimiento promete ser sostenido por la tendencia jupiteriana extra, especialmente en asuntos financieros. Sí, a pesar de la crisis mundial, es posible encontrar el soporte material necesario.
El eclipse de Mayo 2013 indica pues la posibilidad de tener una mayor congruencia. Los humanos tendemos a usar nuestra mente como si ésta fuera una entidad separada del mundo material y la naturaleza que nos rodea. Pero parte de nuestra experiencia como especie es aprender a que la mente y la materia se unan de una forma armoniosa. November 13/14: Solar Eclipse in opposition to star cluster M34. Eclipses of the Sun represents a task to be performed during the next six months. The moment when they happen only indicate the area in which we must work. All living entities on Earth receive this "cosmic notification", no matter if they are located in the shadow of the eclipse or not. Indeed, despite the dramatic and evocative beauty of the phenomenon, an eclipse is only an alignment between the Sun, Moon and Earth, in which the three celestial bodies are on the same axis in relation to the zodiac or ecliptic. This indicates the start of a new semester cycle. In the beginning of the cycle is contained all the story that will subsequently develop over 24 weeks...
This time, the alignment occurs in the sign of Scorpio and in ecliptic opposition to an interesting star cluster: M34, an open cluster in the constellation Perseus. The sign of Scorpio is associated with a tendency to deepen, to transform, to regenerate. Meanwhile, M34 is an open cluster or star family with many features that can be activated from the eclipse. The most important of these is that M34 has several double stars, whether only visual (gravitationally unrelated) or binary systems. That is largely the work represented by the eclipse: it is about relationships, the social and the personal formula we have for relating. Scorpio indicates the tendency to go deep, to get to the bottom of relationships and change the rules or patterns of behavior that have proved problematic in recent months.
Clearly this can match some crises and emotional catharsis. But without a shock, there is no motivation for change. Therefore, it is important to cooperate with the trend instead of taking it as a negative influence. Those who have suppressed their emotions or denied certain emotional reactions will have more difficult to deal with this diving in the depths of the psyche. But those more accustomed to introspection psychoanalysis may even get to enjoy it. But we will all face the possibility of seeing the actual background of our relationships, and this will undoubtedly lead to modify some behavioral patterns that are not working.
Perhaps the most important one is related to our personal value, and how we handle relationships. If the exchange serves only to put one of the members on a pedestal while the other part is underestimated, the job will be to balance the nature of the association. Why is this possible? M34 is a cluster that has high metallicity, i.e., chemical elements heavier than hydrogen and helium. This often happens with relatively young clusters, which are formed from clouds enriched with more complex chemical elements from previous generations of stars.
The higher the metallicity, the higher the value. In this eclipse, M34 invites us to raise the value of our relationships, increasing self-esteem, properly valuing each person and giving the proper place to our aqcuaintances. The greater the imbalance, the more intense the process, because the effort to correct what is not working is much higher. People who already have built a balanced formula to relate can enjoy an enriching exchange: it is a semester in which we can team up with people who'll bring us good things, while letting go of those contacts that are detrimental or unfair .
Furthermore, this increase in value can be very important in personal finance: it may involve a diversification of business or revenue. In this sense, the enrichment is not so much in quantity but in quality (although M34 is a rich cluster, with over 400 stars). We can do more with less time or effort, find a better paying job, or just be in the place where one is valued according to their qualities. Obviously, abuse, contempt and excessive convenience will cause widespread unrest in the coming months ... Internationally, the eclipse reveals strategic economic alliances, particularly to deal with the crisis caused by an unequal distribution of wealth. The contrasts between scenes of deprivation and the excesses of capitalism will certainly be seen in social networks, even more than in recent months. The economy will constantly make headlines during this semester...
But the most important lesson of this eclipse of November 2012 is that union makes strength. If we mutually reinforce the value of the things we care about, and if there is a real will to improve, corporations and corrupt governments can hardly harm the people of Earth. And if in many cases the imbalance will be visible, it is just to be offset by people united in solidarity. This happens both in the privacy of a home or company, in the streets occupied by people protesting or in a constructive dialogue between civil society and governments, but the important thing is to let it happen. If there is no union, there is no transformation, and if people disperses, it is a kind of betrayal. Over the next six months, choose carefully the associations that represent a real and deeply transformative enrichment.

Noviembre 13/14: El eclipse solar en oposición al cúmulo estelar M34 transforma nuestro entorno social, enfatizando el enriquecimiento en los intercambios y el valor personal ante los demás
Noviembre 13/14: Eclipse Solar en oposición al cúmulo estelar M34. Los eclipses de Sol representan una tarea a realizar durante los siguientes seis meses; el momento en el que suceden solamente indica el área en la cual debemos trabajar. Todas las entidades vivientes de la Tierra reciben esta "notificación cósmica", no importa si están o no situadas en la zona de la sombra del eclipse o no. En realidad, y a pesar de la belleza espectacular y evocadora del fenómeno, un eclipse es solamente una alineación entre el Sol, la Luna y la Tierra, en la cual los tres cuerpos celestes quedan en el mismo eje en relación al zodiaco o eclíptica, y esto indica el comienzo de un nuevo ciclo semestral. En el comienzo del ciclo está contenida toda la historia que posteriormente se desarrollará a lo largo de 24 semanas...
En esta ocasión, la alineación sucede en el signo tropical de Escorpio y en oposición eclíptica a un interesante cúmulo estelar: se trata de M34, un cúmulo abierto en la constelación de Perseo. El signo de Escorpio está asociado con una tendencia a profundizar, a transformar, a regenerar. Por su parte, M34 es un cúmulo abierto o familia de estrellas con muchas características que pueden activarse, todas o algunas, a partir del eclipse. La más importante de ellas es que M34 tiene varias estrellas dobles, ya sean visuales (no relacionadas gravitatoriamente) o pares de estrellas que constituyen sistemas binarios. Esto quiere decir que en gran medida, el trabajo representado por el eclipse es sobre nuestras relaciones, el entorno social y la fórmula personal que tenemos para compartir y asociarnos. Escorpio indica la tendencia a profundizar, a llegar hasta el fondo de las relaciones y a cambiar las reglas o patrones que han probado ser problemáticos en los últimos meses.
Es claro que esto puede coincidir con algunas crisis y catarsis emocionales; sin una sacudida, no hay motivación para el cambio. Por ello, es conveniente cooperar con la tendencia en vez de tomarla como algo negativo. A cada quien le tocará según su crecimiento emocional previo; a aquellas personas que han suprimido sus emociones o negado ciertas reacciones emocionales les resultará más difícil enfrentarse a este buceo en las profundidades de la psique. Los que estén más acostumbrados a psicoanalizarse pueden incluso llegar a disfrutarlo. Pero todos nos veremos ante la posibilidad de contemplar el fondo real de nuestras relaciones y esto llevará sin duda a la necesidad de modificar algunos patrones que no estén funcionando.
Quizás el más importante sea el tema del valor, el propio y el de la o las otras personas, y cómo se maneja en las relaciones. Si el intercambio sirve solamente para poner a alguien en un pedestal mientras la otra parte resulta menospreciada, el trabajo consistirá en equlibrar la naturaleza de la asociación. ¿A qué se debe esto? M34 es un cúmulo que tiene una alta metalicidad, es decir, una gran cantidad de elementos más pesados que el hidrógeno y el helio. Esto suele pasar con cúmulos relativamente jóvenes, que se han formado a partir de nubes enriquecidas con elementos químicos diversos procedentes de generaciones anteriores de estrellas.
A mayor metalicidad, mayor valor, y en este eclipse, M34 nos invita a subir la cotización de nuestras relaciones, aumentando la autoestima, valorando adecuadamente a cada quien y dándole el lugar que le corresponde. A mayor desequilibrio, más intenso será el proceso, pues el esfuerzo para corregir lo que no funciona es mucho mayor. Las personas que ya tengan integrada una fórmula equilibrada para relacionarse pueden disfrutar de un intercambio enriquecedor: se trata de un semestre en el cual es posible hacer equipo con las personas que nos aportan cosas positivas, soltando a la vez aquellos contactos que son perjudiciales o injustos.
Por otro lado, este aumento del valor puede ser algo muy importante en las finanzas personales, ya que puede implicar una diversificación de los negocios o fuentes de ingreso. En este sentido, el enriquecimiento viene no tanto por la cantidad, sino por la calidad (aunque M34 es un cúmulo rico, con más de 400 estrellas). Se puede obtener más rendimiento con menos tiempo o esfuerzo, buscar un empleo mejor pagado, o simplemente situarse en el lugar donde uno sea valorado de acuerdo a sus cualidades. Es obvio que el abuso, el menosprecio y el usufructo excesivo provocarán un malestar generalizado en los próximos meses... En el plano internacional, el eclipse revela alianzas económicas estratégicas, sobre todo para enfrentar la crisis provocada por una repartición desigual de la riqueza. Los contrastes entre las escenas de carencia y los excesos del capitalismo abundarán sin duda en las redes sociales, más de lo que ha sucedido en meses pasados. La economía estará constantemente en los titulares...
Pero la lección más importante de este eclipse de Noviembre 2012 es que la unión hace la fuerza. Si mutuamente reforzamos el valor de las cosas que nos importan, y se suman voluntades a un plan de mejorar tanto económica como emocionalmente, difícilmente puedan las tendencias de abuso de corporaciones y gobiernos corruptos hacer daño a los pueblos de la Tierra. Y si en muchos casos el desequilibrio saldrá a la vista, es para ser compensado por medio de gente unida en solidaridad. Esto sucederá tanto en la intimidad del hogar o de una empresa, en las calles ocupadas por gente protestando o en un diálogo constructivo entre la sociedad civil y los gobiernos. Pero lo importante es dejar que suceda. Si hay unión, hay transformación, y si hay disociación, hay un retroceso, una traición a nuestro impulso natural de desarrollo. Escojan pues con detenimiento, a lo largo de los próximos seis meses, las asociaciones que representen un enriquecimiento real y profundamente transformador.
