July 4/5: Mercury leaves the Zodiac in parallel to the Pleiades, indicating a good moment to reconsider routines and focus on the future, enhancing planning but also distractions

     Planets currently transit within the 16 ° -wide band which is the zodiac, an actual celestial highway where planets circulate at different speeds and also perform their retrograde motions. When a planet reaches an extreme declination in certain parts of its orbit, it leaves this band, i.e. it is more than 23 °1/2 of declination north or south of the Equator, it is "out of bondage", meaning that it goes beyond the normal or conventional way.  Even in the sky we find deviations for the planets! If only they include a sign... at least we would be warned. But that's exactly the purpose of the Galactic Guide!

      In the case of Mercury, this means that the mind and the everyday affairs represented by this small but important planet can get lost a little, manifesting  away from the normal, in unusual ways. Moreover, Mercury simultaneously engages in a powerful parallel  with the Pleiades cluster (M45), stars that rotate at very high speed, indicating an acceleration of time in the mind.

      Thus, the Mercury / Pleiades combination represents a mind directed towards the future. Whether it is a near or distant, future, a visionary quality is enhanced, but it can also imply elusive behavior, procastination and a lack of focus in the here and now.  In a practical sense, we must take care of all sorts of distractions, which could potentially have a chaotic effect in everyday life.  At the global level, it is possible that the collective mind of the masses, public opinion and issues related to information, communication, transport, trade, negotiations and health, all related to Mercury will difficult to control, deviating from their typical manifestation. Whether this causes problems or helps changing  things for the better, it depends on every particular situation, but  we will surely see public opinion adopting more radical positions than usual (yes, more).

     In a more constructive approach, it is possible to use this Mercurial condition to exit the typical routine and take different, creative  paths to get things done, no matter whether they are common or transcendental. This trend is ideal for planning and refresh our mind and ideas, allowing us to deprogram and reprogram our strategies and conscious thoughts before Mercury returns to the zodiac after this brief but significant deviation next July 10th.

Julio 4/5: Mercurio se sale del Zodiaco y hace un paralelo a las Pléyades, indicando un momento para reconsiderar la rutina y enfocarse al futuro, favoreciendo la planeación pero también las distracciones

     Los planetas suelen transitar dentro de la banda de 16° de ancho que constituye el zodiaco, que es como una especie de autopista en donde circulan a diferentes velocidades y efectúan sus retrogradaciones. Cuando un planeta, por su declinación sale de esta banda, es decir, supera los 23° 1/2 de declinación norte o sur, se encuentra "fuera de ataduras",  lo que significa que se sale del camino normal o convencional. ¡También en el camino de los planetas existen desviaciones! Si tan sólo hubiera señales para estar prevenidos... ¡Pero ése es precisamente el propósito de la Galactic Guide!

      En el caso de Mercurio, esto significa que la mente y los asuntos cotidianos representados por este pequeño pero importante planeta pueden extraviarse un poco, alejarse de la normalidad o manifestarse de formas poco comunes. Más aún, Mercurio hace al mismo tiempo un potente paralelo con el cúmulo de las Pléyades (M45), estrellas que rotan sobre sí  mismas a gran velocidad, indicando un aceleramiento del tiempo y de la mente.

      Así, la combinación Mercurio/Pléyades representa una mente dirigida hacia el futuro, próximo o lejano, una cualidad visionaria, pero también evasiva y tendiente a desconcentrarnos del aquí y ahora. En un sentido práctico, hay que tener cuidado de todo tipo de distracciones, que pueden tener un efecto caótico dentro de la vida cotidiana. En el plano internacional, es posible que la mente de las masas, la opinión pública y asuntos relacionados con información, comunicación, transporte, comercio, negociaciones y salud, todos relacionados con Mercurio, sean difíciles de controlar, saliéndose de su manifestación rutinaria. Que esto cause problemas o ayude a cambiar las cosas para bien, depende de la situación en particular, pero seguramente veremos a la opinión pública adoptando posiciones más radicales que de costumbre... (sí, aún más).

     Desde un enfoque más constructivo, es posible utilizar esta posición mercuriana para salir de la rutina y tomar caminos diferentes para lograr las cosas, no importa si son cotidianas o trascendentales. Esta tendencia es ideal para planificar y renovar el enfoque que le damos a nuestra mente, lo que nos permite desprogramar y reprogramar nuestros planes y pensamientos conscientes antes de que Mercurio regrese al zodiaco después de esta breve pero significativa desviación el próximo 10 de Julio.

July 13/14: Mercury in parallel to Pallas and the Pleiades cluster (M45). The power of strategic mind joins the visionary capacity of the Pleiades, leading to an excellent day for planning in every way. The Pleiades is one of the few star clusters visible without a telescope, and its stars rotate on its axis at a very high speed. Astrologically, this means an acceleration of time; literally, the possibility to perceive the future, or at least to make it more conscious.

     In practical terms, this combination means a good chance of making plans for the short, medium and long term. It is possible to see where we are heading, and how. It is a great time to set goals as well as the procedures to achieve them. On the other hand, it will be possible to advance in plans already in operation, as information and communication tend to be more clear and fluid than usual. Definitely, it is an evolutionary trend that leads us forward, not backwards.

      On the other hand, the Pleiades are immersed in a beautiful reflection nebula, which operates passively reflecting light, very much like the moon reflect the Sun's light. Reflection nebulae are similar to large mirrors with a passive quality, but the reflection allows for revelations and consciousness, making them indicators of introspection and internal exploration. The introspective qualities of the Pleiades favor psychoanalysis and insights, which can be very significant. Inspiration, artistic or practical, will be at our fingertips, so it is a perfect time to give a definite shape to our abstract ideas and make them work. This is particularly favorable for the visual arts and writing, but it actually points to find the solution to all sorts of practical problems...

     The only downside of this trend is that we can easily lose ground, as we might not be in the "here and now", neglecting the immediate. But it's worth it! The trend only lasts about 24 hours ... Let's enjoy this short tour of the future, it can be very useful to define, adjust and change our present.

May 31: Mars and Pallas conjunct the Pleiades indicate an excellent time to successfully plan ahead and research within our psyche with creativity

May 31: Mars enters the zodiacal sign of Taurus and makes an ecliptic conjunction with the Pleiades (M45). This indicates an injection of energy into the mental plane, which can be used to investigate and seek revealing insights. The sense of time can be altered both because of the quickening pulse typical of Mars as well as the great speed at which many of the Pleiades actually rotate on themselves. Possibly our minds will go faster than circumstances, and this gap must be taken into account in order to avoid  practical mistakes. But the time distortion can be used to plan ahead: with this acceleration, it is possible to sense the direction that circumstances will take in the near or far future..

     What's more, the Mars/M45 mix also brings the possibility of having valuable insights. The Pleiades are passing through an area of the galaxy in which there is a signficant amount of nebulosity, which gives them their characteristic appearance. The Pleiades are of unparalleled beauty due to its own light reflexing on this nebulosity, creating what is called a reflection nebula, similar to the Witch Head or M78. The reflection symbolizes a tendency to dig into the unconscious, to reveal the depths of the mental and emotional worlds, to reveal unconscious content. This, along with the typical mental acceleratiion of M45, suggests an excellent time to apply therapies, psychoanalysis, meditation, visualization, to consult oracles, for artistic creation, and to do research in general, whether academic or personal. The trend is about getting informed and reveal, to inquire, to have great insights, to bring forth unconscious content through creativity, to expand our consciousness.

     It is noteworthy that Mars is not alone in this game: just one degree ahead, is the asteroid Pallas, which gives a more structured and planned expression to the Martian impulse, which in itself could accelerate too much the already fast Pleiades. Ideally, and that is the contribution of Pallas, this whole psychoanalytic mental stimulation and should be better expressed through a strategy. And hence it is good to plan the near or far future,  in the coming days. The Pleiadian atmosphere sounds interesting, and surely there will be many activities in which to experience this peculiar combination that occurs every two years or so. This trend will be in effect until Monday, so we have the whole weekend to take advantage of it.

May 20/21st: Several important astrological combinations occur simultaneously, including the square between Uranus and Pluto, Jupiter at 135° from Uranus and the Sun in transit to the Pleiades. Choose your trend to start the week...

May 20/21st: Sometimes, several important astrological events happen all at once, and this is what happens this week, particularly Monday and Tuesday, days that are likely to be exciting and unforgettable. Check here what is really going on in the astrological frequency so you can consciously decide what you wish to experience.

     To begin with, we have Jupiter at 135° from Saturn and the galaxy Centaurus A. This indicates the possibility of substantial improvements in difficult situations, and the trend will last all week. Saturn indicates by itself difficulties and bottlenecks, and Centaurus A is a galaxy that has a huge band of dust passing through its center, blocking its light. Centaurus A represents in particular communication difficulties to overcome. And that is precisely the role of Jupiter here, as its drive to improve and develop can shake things a bit and raise them above limitations. In order to do this, we must have a strategy and apply it carefully. This trend can be wasted if one expects things to get fixed by themselves.

     On the other hand, Venus is in parallel to Jupiter and in ecliptic conjunction with the Witch Head Nebula. This represents an opportunity to relax from recent stress caused by relationships, situations can improve with a positive, hands-free approach. The Witch Head Nebula passivity represents a neutral attitude which is focused inward. Hence, it is better to relate with serenity and let others do things their way. Venus and Jupiter are also in contra parallel to M80, a very compact star cluster, which represents controlling attitudes. The contra parallel means a balance between control, pressure and a neutral attitude. This balance can bring great peace and harmony in relationships and love life, but this requires a conscious control of one's personal ego. Will you be able to do so?

     But Venus is also square to Chiron, which implies the ability to integrate nicely into our lives some isolated elements that had been relegated to the background, perhaps even rejected. It's a good combination to heal through love and tolerance. In some cases, this may coincide with a passive attitude (the Witch Head) in situations that require action and attention. It is necessary then to prevent excessive passivity and act appropriately upon reflection.

        A very important event also happens today: Uranus is for the third time in a position of square to Pluto(90 °), and simultaneously makes an opposition to globular cluster M3. Between 2012 and 2015, Uranus and Pluto make a series of seven squares, matching small and large revolutions in personal life and society. The effect of the seven squares covers this whole period of four years, which have been and will likely be particularly intense. This specific square represents a process that will be in effect for several months, only today it is mathematically exact.

     This time, the angular distance of 90° between these two planets occurs with Uranus simultaneously in opposition to star cluster M3, which is very large and also very compressed, and contains many variable stars. This last is synonymous with personal insecurities induced by society, and schemes or institutions that no longer function properly. The challenge in the following months is therefore to seek innovation to find solutions that provide stability. But of course, this requires a great effort. Socially, this combination will manifest as a conflict between new trends and the natural resistance to change. The next square between these two planets happens on November 1st, 2013.

     As if this wasn't enough, the Sun enters Gemini and conjuncts the Pleiades (M45), a cluster with young stars that rotate at high speed. The Pleiades are a kind of accelerator on the mental plane, as many of its stars are of the mental-oriented type B. Hence, a kind of time distortion can be expected for those who connect with this trend. The mind may advance faster than the actual events, and, as a result, we may be a bit spaced-out from down-to-earth chores. Anyway, the Pleiades also bring a great capacity for introspection through mental reflection and may bring on a futuristic or prophetic approach. It is possible to  have great insights! And good results of psychoanalysis and research, too.

Mayo 20: Varias combinaciones astrológicas importantes suceden simultáneamente, incluyendo la cuadratura entre Urano y Plutón, Júpiter a 135° de Urano y el Sol en tránsito a las Pléyades. Decidan con cuál sintonizarse para empezar bien la semana...

Mayo 20: Hay días en los que suceden varios eventos astrológicos de importancia, y éste es uno de ellos, lo que promete una jornada interesante e inolvidable. Chequen aquí qué es lo que realmente sucede en el plano astrológico y decidan conscientemente lo que deseen experimentar.

     Para empezar, tenemos a Júpiter a 135° de Saturno y la galaxia Centaurus A. Esto indica la posibilidad de tener mejoras sustanciales en situaciones que pasan por dificultades, y la tendencia durará toda la semana. Saturno indica dificultades o bloqueos, y Centaurus A es una galaxia que tiene una enorme banda de polvo que pasa por su centro, bloqueando su luz. Centaurus A representa en particular dificultades de comunicación que deben superarse. Ése es precisamente el papel de Júpiter, cuyo impulso a mejorar y desarrollarse puede mover los elementos trabados y permitir su superación.  Para ello, hay que tener una estrategia y aplicarla cuidadosamente; esta tendencia puede desperdiciarse si se pretende que las cosas salgan por sí solas.

     Por otro lado, Venus está en paralelo a Júpiter y en conjunción eclíptica a la nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja. Esto representa una oportunidad de relajar la presión en el plano de las relaciones, permitiendo una mejora y un enfoque positivo. La Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja representa pasividad, una actitud neutra y centrada hacia el interior. de ahí que hacia afuera sea mejor manifestar tranquilidad y dejar que los demás hagan las cosas a su manera. Venus y Júpiter están también en contra paralelo a M80, un cúmulo muy compacto, que representa actitudes controladoras. El contraparalelo significa el equilibrar el control con una actitud neutra. Esto puede traer una gran paz, pero exige un control del propio ego. ¿Creen ser capaces de lograrlo?

     Pero Venus está en cuadratura a Quirón, lo que implica la posibilidad de integrar amablemente a nuestras vidas elementos aislados o que habían estado relegados a un segundo plano, quizás incluso rechazados. Es un buen aspecto para curar a través de amor y la tolerancia. En algunos casos, esto puede coincidir con una actitud pasiva (la Cabeza de Bruja) hacia situaciones que requieren atención. Es preciso pues evitar excesos de pasividad y actuar después de haber reflexionado adecuadamente.

      Hoy también sucede un evento muy importante: Urano entra por tercera vez en posición de cuadratura a Plutón (90°), y hace una oposición al cúmulo globular M3. Entre el 2012 y el 2015, Urano y Plutón hacen una serie de siete cuadraturas, que coinciden con pequeñas y grandes revoluciones personales y en la sociedad. El efecto de la cuadratura abarca este período de cuatro años, que han sido y serán particularmente intensos. Esta cuadratura en específico es vigente durante varios meses, solamente que el día de hoy es cuando es exacta en términos angulares.

     En esta ocasión, la distancia angular de 90° entre ambos planetas sucede con Urano en oposición al cúmulo M3, que es muy grande y a la vez compacto, pero contiene muchas estrellas variables. Esto es sinónimo de inseguridades producidas en los individuos por la sociedad, y de esquemas o instituciones que ya no funcionan adecuadamente. El reto de este año es pues buscar la renovación para encontrar soluciones que provean de estabilidad. Pero por supuesto, ello requiere de un gran esfuerzo. En lo social, esta combinación se manifestará por conflictos entre las nuevas tendencias y la resistencia al cambio. La siguiente cuadratura entre estos dos planetas sucederá el 1° de Noviembre 2013.

     Por si fuera poco, el Sol ingresa a Géminis y hace una conjunción a las Pléyades (M45), un cúmulo con estrellas jóvenes que rotan a una gran velocidad. Las Pléyades son una especie de acelerador en el plano mental, ya que muchas de sus estrellas son de tipo B. De ahí que pueda esperarse una especie de distorsión del tiempo para quienes se conecten con esta tendencia. La mente avanzará más rápido que los eventos, y puede, por ello mismo, abstraerse del plano práctico. Como sea, las Pléyades también traen consigo una gran capacidad de introspección a través de estas reflexiones y dar un enfoque futurista o profético. ¡Es posible tener grandes tomas de conciencia! Y buenos resultados del psicoanálisis y la investigación.

Mayo 14/15: Venus, Saturno y la Galaxia M64 logran cooperación en medio de tendencias opuestas, superando problemas de comunicación; Mercurio, Ceres y el Cúmulo de Hércules (M13) fortalecen brevemente la productividad

Mayo 14/15: Venus se encuentra a 150° de Saturno, y en paralelo a la Galaxia del Ojo Negro (M64). Esta combinación puede representar impedimentos en la comunicación que se superan a base de diplomacia. Por supuesto, la disposición al diálogo la pone Venus, quien tiene que negociar con los impedimentos representados por Saturno. La solución parece ser sugerida por la galaxia M64, conocida como "la Galaxia del Ojo Negro" por su apariencia. El caso es que M64 tiene un núcleo que rota en sentido contrario a la parte externa de la galaxia, lo que se piensa fue el efecto de una choque con otra galaxia y la subsecuente absorción de ésta por parte de M64. La galaxia absorbida tenía una gran cantidad de polvo oscuro, misma que pasó ahora a formar parte de M64. La Galaxia del Ojo Negro también significa impedimentos,  representados por la densa nube de polvo que le da su apariencia característica, y que refuerzan la idea de bloqueo ya indicada por Saturno. M64 sugiere pues que es propicio integrarse a otras realidades a pesar de que sean distintas a la nuestra, aunque "vayan en sentido contrario" al propio. Muchas veces la tolerancia y la paciencia logran más que la insistencia, y hoy parece ser precisamente uno de esos días. La cooperación se logra con un esfuerzo de diplomacia... sin dejar de ser uno mismo.

     Saturno se encuentra en paralelo a la Nebulosa Saturno, y todavía en conjunción cerrada a Centarus A. No hay que confundir a la nebulosa con el planeta. La Nebulosa Saturno es una estrella agonizante que expele sus capas superiores hacia el espacio que la rodea. En telescopios de bajo alcance, su apariencia puede parecerse a la de Saturno con sus anillos, pero las imágenes obtenidas por telescopios potentes muestran su condición de estrella moribunda o nebulosa planetaria, su nombre técnico. La realidad es que la Nebulosa Saturno, al igual que otras nebulosas planetarias, tiene una estrella muy caliente en su interior, que simboliza la mente superior. Muchos de los impedimentos a los que se refiere Saturno, y que están siendo puestos a prueba, provienen de choques ideológicos o incompatibilidades filosóficas con otras personas. La mayoría pueden arreglarse o tener un avance con el tránsito de Venus, quien va a tener un trabajo arduo en esta jornada: Saturno sigue en conjunción a Centaurus A, una galaxia que puede representar problemas de comunicación, que si se componen, pueden dar lugar a grandes avances. Así que...¡a aplicar la diplomacia venusina!

      Mercurio pasa rápidamente a 45° de Ceres,  y en oposición al Cúmulo de Hércules (M13). Esto indica un breve momento, pero efectivo, para aumentar la productividad. La semicuadratura (45°) significa una energía dirigida de manera organizada, Ceres representa prosperidad, y el Cúmulo de Hércules es el más rico en estrellas en el hemisferio norte de la esfera celeste. De ahí que surjan buenas oportunidades para hacer negocios o para aumentar la productividad tanto en lo cotidiano como en proyectos importantes. ¡No la dejen pasar! Hay que dirigir la energía de manera organizada... Poco después, Mercurio entra en conjunción a las Pléyades (M45) y se concentra mucho en objetivos mentales o abstractos, más que materiales, esto será a partir del día 15 de Mayo. Por eso no hay que dejar pasar la oportunidad de producir...

      El Sol en quintil a Quirón, en quincuncio a Pandora, en contraparalelo a M23, indica un buen momento para tratar enfermedades respiratorias, o en la zona de la garganta y relacionadas con la expresión emocional o mental. La relación Sol/Quirón sugiere cambios en la salud, y M23, que es un cúmulo antiguo, simboliza enfermedades crónicas o cuyo origen data de años. M23 se encuentra en la constelación de Sagitario y la mayoría de sus estrellas son de tipo A, lo que sugiere una tendencia expresiva. La combinación entre el Sol, Quirón y M23 sugiere pues la posibilidad de avanzar en estas áreas descubriendo o investigando nuevos aspectos que rodean a la enfermedd, lo que puede traer revelaciones y tomas de conciencia importantes. Al permitir la expresión, pueden salir a la luz tanto las causas como los remedios de la enfermedad, pero lo importante es expresar.

     Finalmente, el asteroide Deméter hace una conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa de la Guitarra y un paralelo a Venus, lo que sugiere el tema de separación con amor. No todas las separaciones tienen que ser drásticas o motivarse por el rechazo. Deméter representa el arquetipo esencial materno, y la Nebulosa de la Guitarra es una explosión de supernova asimétrica, en la cual el pulsar se separa de la nube original de la explosión. De ahí la idea de separación, pero también de velocidad: se pueden solucionar con rapidez asuntos relacionados con personas lejanas, pagos pendientes, inversiones y otros asuntos de la vida cotidiana. Si hay separaciones que hacer, se pueden dar de una manera suave, armónica, cerrando etapas con amabilidad. Pero lo ideal de esta tendencia es que produjera reconciliaciones o reuniones entre personas que habían estado distanciadas ya sea física o mentalmente.

     Todo es posibe para la diplomacia del planeta más cercano al nuestro. ¡Que tengan una semana venusina y diplomática!

May 8/9: Mercury, Mars and Galaxy M100 generate energy and dynamism that need to be channeled adequately; Vesta, Neptune and the Pleiades open spaces for spirituality and introspection

May 8/9: Mercury, the planet of communication, is parallel to Mars and galaxy M100, and also square to Juno. This combination is powerful and represents an enormous amount of energy to be channeled on artistic goals and for  structuring our projects. The combination Mercury/Mars by itself indicates a high energy dose in our everyday affairs, as they will tend to be done quickly| with the dynamism and enthusiasm of this trend. However, they will also often coincide with communication problems (the square to Juno), impatience, irritability and aggression, to be avoided at all costs. We must be patient with others, do not respond to provocations...

     The spiral galaxy M100, is one of the most beautiful in our galactic neighborhood. Its impressive symmetry suggests a perfect design, so that the energy of Mercury and Mars can be channeled to improve our projects or to beautify and harmonize our environment. This combination is great for the arts, photography, painting, design, or just to give our personal space some aesthetic and functional structure. The results can be extraordinary! Otherwise, M100 can accentuate the latent aggression of the Mercury/Mars combination, since five supernovae have been detected in it. This gives a tendency to change drastically, to provoke, to show irreverence that may bring quarrels, accidents by impulsivity and aggression. However, the strong X-ray emission of the five M100 supernovae is conducive to introspection, and in any case should be a good dynamic astrological combination for psychoanalysis and research.
Better this than causing conflicts!

     Fortunately, not everything is so intense these days. Asteroid Vesta is parallel to the Pleiades (M45) and trine to Neptune, which facilitates devotion, meditation, yoga and generally all activities related to spirituality. Neptune is the  mystical and transcendent planet, but the combination Vesta/Pleiades is also very interesting. The stars that make up M45 are involved in nebulosity, which suggested that they were still wrapped in the original cloud that created them. But it has been discovered that they are only passing through a nebulosity area of the galaxy, that reflects light from the Pleiades, and thus becomes a reflection nebula. Reflection nebulae represent introspection, insights, internal visions and a fruitful dialogue with our own unconscious. So it is advisable to reserve a little time to focus on inner peace, whether to meditate or reflect mentally, compensating this way the stress that will surely come out of the Mercury/Mars/M100 trend. We must take care of our inner space, generating peace and harmony!

Mayo 8/9: Mercurio, el planeta de la comunicación, está en paralelo a Marte y a la Galaxia M100, y en cuadratura a Juno. Esta combinación es poderosa y representa una enorme cantidad de energía que debe ser canalizada  a objetivos artísticos o a darle estructura a nuestros proyectos. La combinación Mercurio/Marte, por sí sola, indica una alta doisis de energía en los asuntos cotidianos, que tienden a hacerse con rapidez, dinamismo y entusiasmo bajo esta tendencia. Sin embargo, también coinciden en muchos casos con problemas de comunicación (la cuadratura a Juno) impaciencia, irritabilidad y agresión, que hay que evitar a toda costa. Es preciso ser pacientes con los demás y no responder a provocaciones...

     La galaxia espiral M100, por su lado, es una de las más bellas de nuestro vecindario galáctico. Su impresionante simetría hace pensar en un diseño perfecto, por lo que la energía de Mercurio y Marte pueden canalizarse hacia perfeccionar nuestros proyectos o a embellecer y armonizar nuestro entorno. Esta combinación es excelente para actividades artísticas, fotografía, pintura, diseño, o simplemente para darle a nuestro espacio un ordenamiento estético y funcional. ¡Los resultados pueden ser extraordinarios! De lo contrario, M100 puede acentuar la agresividad latente en la combinación Mercurio/Marte, ya que se han detectado cinco supernovas en ella. Esto da una tendencia al cambio drástico, a la provocación, a la irreverencia que puede traer consigo pleitos, accidentes por impulsividad y agresión. Sin embargo, la fuerte emisión de rayos X de las 5 supernovas de M100 es propicia para la introspección, y en todo caso conviene canalizar tan dinámica combinación astrológica hacia el psicoanálisis y la investigación.
¡Es mejor que provocar conflictos! Y a final del día, es posible que se haya avanzado mucho más que en otros días.

     Afortunadamente, no todo es tan intenso. El asteroide Vesta está en paralelo a las Pléyades (M45) y en trígono a Neptuno, lo que facilita la devoción, la meditación, el yoga y en general, todo tipo de actividades relacionadas con la espiritualidad. Neptuno es el planeta místico y trascendente por excelencia, pero la combinación Vesta/Pléyades resulta también muy interesante. Las estrellas que componen a M45 están envueltas en nebulosidad, lo que hacía pensar que todavía estaban envueltas en la nube original que las creó. Pero se ha descubierto que sólo están pasando por una zona nebulosa de la galaxia, que al reflejar la luz de las Pléyades, se convierte en una nebulosa de reflexión. Estas nebulosas representan introspección, revelaciones, visiones internas y un fructífero diálogo con el inconsciente. Así que es conveniente reservar un poco de tiempo para concentrarse en paz, ya sea para meditar o reflexionar, y así compensar la enorme agitación que seguramente se dará con la tendencia Mercurio/Marte/M100.

June 1st: Mercury and Venus reunite in a fantastic parallel to the Pleiades, promoting dialogue, unity and exchange; Juno, Uranus and the Hourglass Nebula bring renewals and ruptures in relationships and ideologies

June 1st: Mercury and Venus in parallel to the Pleiades cluster (M45) is a fantastic astrological combination to start the weekend. Mercury and Venus facilitate communication through a receptive, empathic mood, that invites to dialogue and sharing. The additional influence of the Pleiades gives a touch of introspection and analysis, proper for mental creativity and brainstorming with others. The Pleiades are young stars that rotate at high speed, which represents the rise of great new ideas and an innovative, fresh, different, motivating vision. At a personal level, it is obvious that this reflects unforgettable encounters and conversations; in the collective, it will tend to highlight further the trend of the recent solar annular eclipse of last May 20th conjunct the Pleiades, stimulating the ideological unity of the masses which are currently manifesting in what has been dubbed a new  "world spring".    

     The Pleiades are certainly one of the most important cosmic symbols of social renewal movements internationally.    

     Mercury and Venus will move later into an ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M79. This combination is also interesting and reveals the need to share and exchange with different people with different ideologies and greatly enhances cultural mixing and exchange of experiences. Definitely, this is not a weekend in which we should focus only on our own reality. We must look outward, and as far as we can we should enter into a cosmopolitan frequency, integrating different realities, knowledge, experiences and insights that will greatly enrich everyone without a doubt. Get involved!  

     If this wasn´t enough emphasis on relationships and social life, we also have Juno in parallel to the Hourglass Nebula and contra parallel to Uranus. This trend is similar to the ones mentioned above in the sense that it combines relationships with novelty and originality. Change your routine and try new activities with loved ones, friends, family and working team. But Juno conjunct the Hourglass Nebula, an agonizing star, indicates a weakening and the dissolution, in some cases drastic, of established relationships. This may represent the "final blow" to relations in crisis or whose bonds of union have deteriorated.    

     At a global level, it means the separation of political alliances. And of course, a major setback to opponents of gay marriage, as the concept of traditional marriage, represented by Juno, is weakened and reversed by the vanguardist trend of Uranus. The concept of unity get revolutionized in our personal lives and collectively. To avoid tensions and ruptures, it is better to drop prejudices, open ourselves to spontaneity and be open to new ways of relating. Otherwise, it will be ourselves who'll end up suffering the consequences of rejection and indifference instead of enjoying the flow of acceptance and freedom to love and relate in so many ways as there are people in this troubled world.

May 20th: An annular solar eclipse conjunct the Pleiades cluster (M45) shows a season full of idealism, new trends, altruistic actions and a struggle between global population and the status quo

May 20th: Annular Solar Eclipse conjunct the Pleiades cluster (M45). This is an event that has attracted much public attention, as this star cluster is one of the best known worldwide since ancient times. This is because it can be observed with the naked eye. A solar eclipse is the beginning of a six-month cycle, the approximate duration of its effect, which ends when the following eclipse takes place. At the beginning of each cycle, lies the seed that will develop during the course of its various stages. It is therefore important to know the position of each eclipse, so we can know the celestial bodies to which it is associated. They indicate the basic themes of the season, which we will process during the next six months in different contexts in ouir individual and collective lives.


New trends, idealism, intuitive mind

     The annular eclipse happens in ecliptic conjunction to the Pleiades cluster, which indicates a strong stimulus to the mental qualities of everyone, with a special tendency to accelerate insights, combining rationality with intuition. The Pleiades custer contains a young energy, which is enthusiastic, motivating, good for research and the development of new projects and ideas. This means that in the next six months we will have a cosmic accelerator  which will strongly stimulate our mental functioning. This may be useful to promote new ideas, accelerate the implementation of emerging projects and have great insights mixing logic with intuition.

      However, old projects will not be as favored by M45's stars, who are just in its infancy ... Internationally, traditions will tend to be updated and people everywhere will be eager to see something new happening. Society as a whole will support emerging trends. The lack of vision or awareness of many governments will certainly tarnish the process, but if allowed to flow properly it may coincide with major positive renovations in many countries. In others, the disappointment of the public in relation to the governments' response will produce discomfort and in some cases chaos or violence.

     The idealism fostered by the Pleiades will be evident in the strength of ideas during the next six months, both personally and collectively. It is a time of great idealism, but it also carries a risk of radicalization. While the Pleiades accelerate the process of History (we will see more happening this semester than in previous years), they do not represent an extremist tendency compared to other celestial bodies, more intense at a cosmic scale. But this emphasis on ideas indicates a tendency to fanaticism and exacerbation of ideals, which can go to extremes and excesses. This is because of the introspective and revealing the quality of the Pleiades, who like to see beyond the surface. This implies that people in general will see clearly the reasons behind the superficial appearances. To mislead the public will be terribly difficult in the six months to come, no matter where you are located in our (still) green planet ...

Connections of the eclipse with Pallas, Neptune: altruism and communication strategies

    Anyway, this eclipse has enough enthusiasm to fuel our dreams, use it to investigate and find answers beyond the surface. Let's analyze the relations of the eclipse with other planets: this can give us an idea of the pleiadian enthusiasm and where to direct it. The eclipse occurs at 60° of the asteroid Pallas, which represents support for new strategies. Individually, we must organize properly and our new action plans will work on their own.

     Collectively, the civil society will tend to be more and more strategic in its attempts to have supremacy over governments. What are these strategies? Pallas is in opposition to the galaxy M84, which represents an enormous power of communication and dissemination. The asteroid of strategies is also parallel to the Rosette Nebula, denoting a great inspiration and thus a great motivation. Social participation, through modern media and social networks will cause a huge, inspiring impact on the direction taken by events.

                                                                 

     The eclipse also happens at 90° or square Neptune in Pisces, which means two things: first, the need to clarify a logical confusion. At the individual level, we can organize our efforts to address neglected, forgotten, confused or needy areas of our lives. Internationally, the Neptunian confusion can be caused by the mechanisms of publicity and media, which are normally associated with government power or force, and thus often cause confusion or distort the truth. It also refers to using the Pleiadian motivation to structure a logical strategy of aid to marginalized, victimized or tyrannized beings in the world: children, animals, women, homosexuals, indigenous people, citizens or whoever. The idea is that Neptune squaring the Pleiadian eclipse represents the effort needed to make possible the assistance to these sectors of our world, which need to be included as a priority within the new policies. Altruistic actions are therefore a central issue in the next semester ...

Opposition to Juno: resistance to change and balance in relationships

     The eclipse also makes an opposition to asteroid Juno, located at 29° of Scorpio and conjunct the Hercules Cluster (M13). Personally, this opposition signifies a renewal of the bases of many relationships. Some couples may find themselves going through critical moments, others increase their participation and enthusiasm. But ideally, despite some resistance, we should let the eclipse implement necessary renovations in order to balance new projects with routines that no longer work, especially in the economic or material plane. The eclipse will certainly promote a better balance within the context of relationships, in terms of rights and duties of each member. So, after six months many marriages and couples will be able to enjoy a refreshing and positive direction. Others will split as a cure! And many individuals will adjust their parameters of what they need from a partner, or their relationships in general.

     Things can be more radical in the international arena. On one side, we have new energy, enthusiastic and idealistic, coming from the Pleiades. On the other hand, we have Juno, asteroid of partnerships, in conjunction with M13, the Hercules Cluster, which represents an enormous wealth, capital accumulation, since it is the largest and more abundant star in the northern hemisphere. Obviously this reflects a big confrontation  between world population and the capitalist status quo, which will strongly resist vanguardist policies to defend itself against the attacks it will certainly receive. Juno and M13 represent the association of powerful corporations, companies and institutions on the planet, who will try to resist the new trends that people demand, indicated by the Pleiades in opposition. It is likely therefore that in these six months we will witness new legal battles over the handling of information on the Internet. Much of the Pleiadian eclipse energy will be directed to this, and it will be well invested...

Mayo 20: Eclipse Solar Anular en conjunción al cúmulo de las Pléyades (M45). Este es un evento que ha llamado mucho la atención del público, ya que este cúmulo estelar es uno de los más conocidos en todo el mundo desde la antigüedad. Esto se debe a que puede observarse a simple vista. Un eclipse solar es el inicio de un ciclo de seis meses, el tiempo aproximado de vigencia de su efecto, que termina cuando sucede el siguiente. En el comienzo de cada ciclo, está la semilla que se desarrollará durante el transcurso de sus diferentes etapas. Por ello, es importante conocer la posición de cada eclipse, pues los cuerpos celestes a los cuales está asociado indican el tema básico de éste, mismo que estaremos procesando durante los próximos seis meses en diferentes contextos personalizados.

     El idealismo fomentado por las Pléyades será patente en la fuerza que tiene la manifestación de las ideas, tanto a nivel personal como colectivo. Es un tiempo de gran idealismo, pero también esto conlleva un peligro de radicalización. Si bien las Pléyades aceleran el proceso de la Historia (veremos pasar más en este semestre que en años anteriores) no son una tendencia extremista comparada a otros cuerpos celestes más intensos en la escala cósmica. Pero su énfasis en las ideas indica una tendencia al fanatismo y a la exacerbación de los ideales, lo que puede hacer llegar a extremos y excesos. Sobre todo, porque la cualidad introspectiva y reveladora de las Pléyades va más allá de la superficie, lo que implica que la gente en general verá las razones detrás de las apariencias. Engañar al público será terriblemente difícil en los seis meses que vienen, no importa en dónde estén situados en nuestro (todavía) verde planeta...

Relaciones del eclipse con Palas, Neptuno: altruismo y estrategias de comunicación

    Como sea, este eclipse tiene suficiente entusiasmo para impulsar nuestros sueños, llevarnos a investigar y encontrar respuestas más allá de la superficie. Veamos las relaciones del eclipse con otros planetas, lo que nos puede dar una idea de hacia dódne dirigir el entusiasmo pleyadiano. El eclipse sucede a 60° del asteroide Palas, lo que representa apoyo para realizar estrategias nuevas. En lo individual, hay que organizarse adecuadamente y nuestros nuevos planes de acción funcionarán por sí solos.

     En lo colectivo, la sociedad civil tenderá a ser cada vez más y más estratégica en sus intentos por tener la supremacía por encima de los gobiernos. ¿En qué consisten estas estrategias? Palas está en oposicion a la galaxia M84, que representa un enorme poder de comunicación y difusión. El asteroide de las estrategias también está en paralelo a la Nebulosa Roseta que denota una gran inspiración y por lo tanto, una gran motivación. La participación social, a través de los medios de comunicación modernos y las redes sociales, causará un enorme impacto en la dirección que tomen los eventos.

                                                                   

     El eclipse sucede en cuadratura a Neptuno en Piscis, lo que implica dos cosas: la necesidad de aclarar de manera lógica la confusión. Esto puede ser en el plano individual, en el cual tendremos que ordenar nuestras iniciativas para atender áreas descuidadas, olvidadas, en necesidad o confusas. En el plano internacional, la confusión neptuniana puede ser causada por los mecanismos de publicidad y los medios de comunicación, que, normalmente asociados al poder o gobierno vigente, suelen causar confusión o distorsionar la verdad. También se refiere a usar la motivación pleyadiana para estructurar una ayuda lógica a los sectores marginados, sometidos o victimizados del planeta: niños, animales, mujeres, homosexuales, indígenas, ciudadanos, o quien sea. La idea es que la cuadratura del eclipse pleyadiano a Neptuno representa el esfuerzo necesario para hacer viable la ayuda a estos sectores e incluirlos dentro de las nuevas políticas. Las acciones altruistas son pues un tema básico en el semestre que viene...

La oposición a Juno: resistencia al cambio y equilibrio en las relaciones

     El eclipse hace también una oposición al asteroide Juno, que se encuentra en 29° de Escorpio y en conjunción al cúmulo de Hércules. En lo personal, esta oposición significa una renovación de  las bases de muchas relaciones. Algunas parejas pueden pasar por momentos críticos, otras aumentar su participación y entusiasmo. Pero lo ideal es, a pesar de algunas resistencias, dejar que el eclipse produzca renovaciones necesarias para liberarse de cargas y rutinas que ya no funcionan, especialmente en el plano económico o material. El eclipse llevará sin duda a buscar un equilibrio más justo dentro del contexto de la relación, en cuanto a las deberes y derechos de cada quien. Así, al cabo de seis meses muchos matrimonios y parejas podrán tomar una dirección renovadora y positiva. Y muchos individuos cambiarán sus parámetros de lo que necesitan de una pareja, o de sus relaciones cercanas en general.

     Las cosas pueden ser más radicales en el plano internacional. Por un lado, tenemos la energía nueva, entusiasta e idealista de las Pléyades. Por el otro, tenemos a Juno, el asteroide de las alianzas, en conjunción a M13, el cúmulo de Hércules, que representa una enorme riqueza, la acumulación de capital, ya que es el cúmulo más grande y abundante en estrellas del hemisferio norte. Es obvio que esto representa un efrentamiento entre la población mundial y el status quo capitalista, que va a juntar filas para defenderse de los ataques que recibirá. Juno y M13 representan la asociación de las corporaciones poderosas en el planeta, que tratarán de oponerse a las tendencias nuevas que la gente demanda indicadas por las Pléyades, situadas en oposición. Es muy probable pues que en estos seis meses veamos nuevas batallas legales sobre la manipulación de la información en internet. Gran parte de la energía del eclipse pleyadiano estará dirigida a ello, y estará bien invertida...

The Pleiades beyond myths

The Pleiades cluster (M45) beyond myths

     M45 is undoubtedly the most famous star cluster known since antiquity. Unlike other groups of stars, the Pleiades can be seen with the naked eye during winter nights. Their appearance, with bright nebulous light spots inside gives them a mysterious and a special beauty, which stands amid the other stars of the constellation Taurus. Under normal conditions of observation, on a dark night it is possible to see clearly at least seven of its brightest members, although with some attention more than ten can be spotted. Today, we know that this is an extremely rich cluster, with more than 1000 members confirmed. Charles Messier, French astronomer of the eighteenth century included them in his famous catalog of celestial objects as the object #45, hence the Pleiades are also known as M45.


Tragic and obsolete meanings

     No other star cluster has more mthological associations than the Pleiades, which has always held a special place in ancient cosmogonies by its prominent visibility. They grabbed the attention of virtually all ancient peoples, from the Maya to the Greeks. M45's mythological associations are very different from one culture to another, so there can hardly be a consensus of meaning at this level. However, the association of M45 with sorrow, tears and tragedy is particularly widespread among western astrologers today. There is nothing farther from reality, since, as discussed below, the study of astronomical nature demonstrates unequivocally that its true meaning is different. Quite often, mythological interpretation of  stars and other deep space objects is obsolete.

     In particular, the association of the Pleiades with mourning, death and suffering finds its roots on the Celtic culture, as they did rise on the celestial sphere at the time of the year when special rituals  dedicated to death were held. Probably, these rituals were similar to the current Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico or Halloween in the United States. However, it's been a long time since this is not happening anymore, but the tradition has been passed from mouth to mouth, then from book to book. This cultural meaning doesn't seem to fit the Pleiades anymore, as it is like a worn-out garment that is falling apart. This rags could not but offend their intrinsic beauty. Plus, it is not obvious how a star can be specifically associated with human tragedies unless it's through a psychological projection.


Star clusters: cosmic cities

    But, in order to understand their individual nature, we must focus on their true origin. First, what is a star cluster? A star cluster is a grouping of stars, but unlike others that are perceived to be in the same line of sight from Earth, the stars in a cluster are born all more or less simultaneously from the same cloud of hydrogen who provided the material for its formation. In other words, they all have the same mother, same age and begin their lives in the same place, like a good family or community, living in the same house or city...

     Star clusters can be globular, spherical and open, irregular. Globular clusters tend to be much more populous, with thousands or even millions of stars. They are often quite old (billions of years) and it is believed that most of them were formed at an early age of the universe. They consist mainly of old stars. Open clusters, in contrast, are families of young stars normally in their infancy, and belong to a more recent stellar population, their ages are usually only a few hundred million years, which in cosmic terms is just a sigh. This is the case of the Pleiades.


Young sprouts and strong energy

     Thus, open clusters symbolize new situations that have potential for future development. The age of the Pleiades has been estimated at 100 million years, which means they are just in their infancy. In terms of astrological interpretation, the Pleiades are like a pot in which the sprouts are just germinating.

     But, take this into account: M45's germination is abundant and comes with a lot of power. The most important members of this cluster are rotating at high speed, up to 300 kilometers per second on their surfaces ... This suggests an accelerated process, and any factor in the horoscope placed in contact with the Pleiades therefore tends to be strongly accelerated or intensified. The main indicator that lets us know the scope of these stars is the spectral type. In an open cluster, almost all the stars are usually the same temperature, and therefore, the same spectral type. The Pleiades are mostly of type B, i.e., a high temperature of about 20,000 degrees Kelvin. B-type stars symbolize wisdom, information, but also insights, visions, the intuitive mind and also a tendency to research. Despite their youth, the Pleiades are not superficial at all.


Knowledge, wisdom, depth

     In other words, the Pleiades stimulate superior knowledge and the penetrating qualities of the mind. Persons who have M45 prominently in their horoscopes tend to be intellectually active, with a deep assimilation capacity and a mind that combines of rationality and intuition. This feature can also be defined by the fact that many of its members, not visible to the naked eye, are the type of stars called white dwarfs. These stars have lost the surface layers of the atmosphere due to rapid rotation or close encounters with other stars of the same cluster or family. It's like taking off their clothes to expose their bare, open heart (or body). Hence, individuals with a strong influence of M45 tend to look beyond the surface to reveal mysteries, to get to the bottom of the situations, and to seek sincerity in relationships ...

     As if this were not enough, M45 is a cluster related to visionary capacities and introspection. The Pleiades appear in photographs wrapped in a blue haze (specially around the star Merope), which gives them a special beauty and mysterious appearance. It was thought before that, because of their youth, this nebulosity is part of their original mother nebula. But now we know that they are merely crossing a part of the galaxy where the density of the interstellar dust clouds is particularly strong. The nebula that surrounds them is a reflection nebula that passively reflects the light from the stars that surround it, illuminating the whole zone. Reflection nebulae have a similar effect to the Moon, their passivity is revealing and introspective. And with M45, it is also very beautiful.

     Therefore, the use of the mind with the Pleiades is not limited to a rational approach ... While M45 stimulates thought at its best, they reveal the depths of the unconscious, whether through a prophetic talent, a visionary tendency, a mechanism of revelation of the unconscious, artistic inspiration and magic ...  Of course, they can also express through a higher intellect, which in certain cases can border on stubbornness and arrogance if misdirected. But with so much abilities, beauty and talent, they can only inspire reverence and respect. We must accept their astrological influence as a divine gift. Las Pléyades: más allá de los mitos

  LAS PLÉYADES : MÁS ALLÁ DE LOS MITOS

     Se trata sin duda alguna del cùmulo estelar más famoso y conocido desde la antigüedad. A diferencia de otros grupos de estrellas, las Pléyades pueden ser observadas a simple vista en las noches invernales. Su apariencia nebulosa con brillantes puntos de luz en su interior le da un aire misterioso y una belleza especial, que resalta en medio de las demás estrellas de la constelación de Tauro. En condiciones normales de observación, en una noche oscura, pueden verse claramente al menos siete de sus miembros màs brillantes, aunque con un poco de atención pueden verse màs de diez. En la actualidad, se sabe que se trata de un cùmulo extremadamente rico, con màs de 1000 miembros confirmados. Charles Messier, astrónomo francés del siglo XVIII, las incluyó en su famoso catálogo de objetos celestes como el objeto 45, de ahí que se les conozca también como M45.


Significados trágicos y obsoletos

     No hay otro cúmulo estelar con más asociaciones mitológicas que las Pléyades, que por su prominente visibilidad llamaron la atención de todos los pueblos antiguos, desde los mayas hasta los griegos. Sus asociaciones mitológicas son muy diversas,por lo que difícilmente puede haber un consenso de significado a este nivel. Sin embargo, la asociación de M45 con penas, llanto y tragedias es particularmente generalizada entre los astrólogos occidentales en la actualidad. No hay nada más alejado de la realidad, ya que , como veremos a continuación, el estudio de su naturaleza astronómica demuestra de manera contundente que su verdadero significado es otro, y que en muchas ocasiones la interpretación mitológica de las estrellas y otros objetos de espacio profundo es obsoleta.

     En particular, la asociación de las Pléyades con el llanto, la muerte y el sufrimiento se debe a que éstas ascendían en la esfera celeste en la época en la que la cultura Celta celebraba rituales especiales dedicados a la muerte, similares al Día de Muertos actual en México o el Halloween en los Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, hace mucho que esto no es así, y la continuación de la tradición simplemente ha hecho que se pase de boca en boca y de libro en libro una connotación cultural que les queda chica a las Pléyades en la actualidad, como una ropa desgastada y cayéndose en pedazos. Esto no podría sino ofender a su belleza intrinseca, además de que es poco evidente el cómo una estrella pueda estar específicamente asociada a tragedias a no ser que sea a través de una proyección psicológica..


Cúmulos estelares: ciudades cósmicas

    Pero, para poder entender su naturaleza individual, es preciso antes concentrarse en su verdadero origen. Primeramente, ¿qué es un cúmulo estelar? Un cúmulo de estrellas es una agrupación de estrellas, pero a diferencia de otras que son aparentes por estar en la misma línea de visión desde la Tierra, las estrellas de un cúmulo han nacido todas màs o menos al mismo tiempo de la misma nube de hidrògeno que proveyò del material para su formaciòn. En otras palabras, todas tienen la misma madre, la misma edad y comienzan su vida viviendo en el mismo lugar, como una buena familia o una comunidad, conviviendo en la misma ciudad...

     Los cúmulos pueden ser globulares, de forma esfèrica y abiertos, de forma irregular. Los cúmulos globulares tienden a ser mucho más populosos, con miles y hasta millones de estrellas. Son casi siempre muy viejos (billones de años) y se cree que la mayorìa fueron formados en una edad temprana del universo. Están constituidos principalmente por estrellas viejas. Los cúmulos abiertos, por el contrario, son familias de estrellas jòvenes, en su infancia, y pertenecen a una generaciòn estelar màs reciente; sus edades suelen ser de apenas unos cientos de millones de años, que en el plano cósmico, es apenas un suspiro. Éste es el caso de las Pléyades.


Energía joven y fuerte

     De este modo, puede derivarse desde su origen un significado para los cúmulos abiertos: representan  situaciones nuevas o que tienen un potencial de desarrollo a futuro. Las edad de las Pléyades, ha sido calculada en 100 millones de años, lo cual quiere decir que estàn apenas en su infancia. En tèrminos de interpretaciòn astrològica, las Plèyades son como una maceta en la cual apenas estàn germinando los tallos.

     Ahora bien, esta germinación es abundante y viene con fuerza: los miembros màs importantes de este cúmulo están rotando a una gran velocidad, hasta de 300 kilómetros por segundo en sus superficies... Esto habla de un proceso acelerado, y cualquier factor del horóscopo situado en contacto con las Pléyades tenderá a ser fuertemente acelerado o intensificado. Pero el principal indicador que nos permite saber el campo de acción de estas estrellas es su tipo espectral. En un cúmulo abierto, casi todas las estrellas suelen ser de la misma temperatura, y por lo tanto, del mismo tipo espectral. Las Pléyades son en su mayoría de tipo B, es decir, de una elevada temperatura de alrededor de 20,000 grados Kelvin. Las estrellas de tipo B estimulan  la sabiduria, la información, pero también  la visión profunda, la mente intuitiva y la investigación. A pesar de su juventud, las Pléyades no tienen nada de superficialidad.


Conocimiento, sabiduría, profundidad

     En otras palabras, las Pléyades refuerzan el conocimiento superior y las cualidades penetrantes de la mente. Las personas que tienen a M45 prominente en sus horóscopos suelen ser intelectualmente activas, con una capacidad de asimilación profunda y una mente que mezcla la racionalidad y la intuición.  Este rasgo puede definirse también por el hecho de que muchos de sus miembros, no visibles a simple vista, son del tipo de estrellas denominado Enanas blancas. Estas estrellas han perdido las capas superficiales de su atmósfera debido a una rotación rápida o encuentros cercanos con otras estrellas del mismo cúmulo o familia. Es como si se quitaran la ropa para exponer su corazón abierto, al desnudo. De ahí que los individuos con una fuerte influencia de M45 tiendan a buscar más allá de la superficie, a develar misterios, a llegar al fondo de las situaciones, y a buscar sinceridad en las relaciones...

     Por si esto fuera poco, M45 es un cúmulo relacionado con la capacidad visionaria. Las Pléyades aparecen en las fotografías envueltas en una nebulosidad de color azul, lo cual les da una belleza especial y un halo de misterio. Se llegó a pensar que, debido a su juventud, esta nebulosidad formaba parte de su nebulosa madre original, pero ahora se sabe que simplemente están pasando por una parte de la galaxia donde la densidad de las nubes en el medio interestelar es particularmente fuerte. Como sea, la nebulosa que las envuelve es una nebulosa de reflexión, que refleja pasivamente la luz de las estrellas que le rodean, iluminando el entorno. Las nebulosas de reflexión tienen un efecto parecido al de la Luna; su pasividad es reveladora. Y con M45, es además sumamente hermosa.

     De ahí que el uso de la mente con las Pléyades no se limite a un enfoque racional... Si bien M45 estimula el pensamiento, es para revelar las profundidades del inconsciente, ya sea por medio de un talento profético, una tendencia visionaria, un mecanismo de revelación del inconsciente o una inspiración artística y mágica...y claro, también por un intelecto superior, que puede rayar en la terquedad y la arrogancia si está mal canalizado. Pero, ante tanta capacidad, belleza y talento, no queda más que rendirles reverencia y aceptar su influencia astrológica como un regalo divino. Los significados oscuros y asociaciones fatalistas de las Pléyades con tragedias, llanto, sufrimiento y funerales quedan atrás, enterrados en el pasado de una tradición que no podía llegar a descubrir su verdadera naturaleza.

Las personas nacidas alrededor del 20/21de Mayo, Noviembre 22/23, Junio 21/22 y December 22/23, tienen una especial relación con M45. Pero cualquier planeta asociado a este cúmulo tenderá a manifestar sus cualidades con intensidad...
