January 10/11/12: The weekend brings several astrological combinations that emphasize the development of ideas and strategies, as well as relaxing and equitable relationships

January 10/11/12: Jupiter in parallel to the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) and contra parallel Mercury. The combination of the planet of development with a star with such high temperature as that inside M27 indicates a good moment to promote projects and ideas in general. M27 is a planetary nebula, a dying star that has ejected its superficial layers into space, exposing its ultra-high temperature core. M27 represents ideological motivations, whether they are religious, scientific, artistic, social or other... The trend most likely will last until next January 17th, so it i reommended to emphasize the promotion of all projects motivated by personal convictions... The contra parallel with Mercury makes them more accessible and communicable, more practical, as reality provides the necessary material elements to make things flow better ....

     Later, but this one only on January 10/11, Mercury is at 135° from Pallas, and in parallel to star cluster M21. This combination also favors the development of ideas, but especially the new ones, projects that are jut starting to develop. M21 is a very young star cluster with stars that barely have 4 million years ... They represent youthful energies and projects in their early stages. The weekend is excellent for generating well-organized strategies to reach the goals that we may set. Spontaneity must combine with fresh ideas and a good sense of organization. Thus, constraints will be easily overcome now and in the coming days... So, get ready this weekend and prepare for the rest of the month creating a good strategy!

     A different trend, but also a positive one, is the Sun conjunct Venus and star cluster M55. The Sun aligned with Venus represents a cheerful, harmonious, even loving, social trend. But M55 involves relationships that are disperse, relaxing, without the lack pressure or stress. M55 is one of the most scattered star clusters in the galaxy, its stars are not concentrated towards its nucleus as in other clusters. Therefore, it indicates relationships that relax and/or disperse, which is confirmed by the square between the Sun / Venus and Vesta. Some relationships may make us lose focus on our usual, personal concentration. Whether that is good or bad depends on the situation, as in some cases it will be necessary to relax with others and enjoy, and in others, to withdraw from social interaction to focus on individual matters ... Anyway, the weekend is ideal for social activities, meetings, parties, events ...

     Juno parallels the Butterfly Nebula (M2-9), in trine to the North Lunar Node. This trend means that if we focus on exchanges and commitments with objectivity and equality, relationships may be fruitful at all levels. This is particularly true in business and in partnerships and marriage. Juno is the asteroid of marriage, relationships and contracts, The Butterfly Nebula (M2-9) is a dying star that we see from its equator, in a symmetrical, balanced view, looking at both poles. Therefore, to consider both sides of a situation or both viewpoints in a relationship will help to generate a fruitful and enriching cooperation ... The trend favors reaching that objectivity, and only lasts until next Wednesday, take advantage of it!

     Mercury in parallel to Pallas and contra parallel to M1, the Crab Nebula. This is a current trend that happens on January 11/12. It describes the control of chaotic situations. M1, the Crab Nebula is a supernova explosion, the remnant of a star that exploded about 700 years ago in the constellation Taurus. M1's tendency is to generate ideas, but in an unstructured, chaoticand sometime, wild way. In fact, M1 can represent complicated situations, who have gone through drastic changes recently. But Pallas and Mercury in cotraparallel to M1 reveal the opportunity, between next Sunday and Monday, to give a new, ordered structure to chaos. In some cases, the changing or chaotic situation may be enriching in itself, acting as a fertilizer, jutassuprnove do with the interstellar medium. It is therefore important to have a plan, and not let the circumstances, as chaotic as they might be, to overflow and cause further complications. This trend is ideal for all types of repairs and creative visualization, too.

Enero 10/11/12: El fin de semana trae varias combinaciones astrológicas importantes que favorecen el desarrollo de ideas y estrategias, así como las relaciones relajantes y equitativas

Enero 10/11/12: Júpiter en paralelo a la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) y en contraparalelo a Mercurio. La combinación del planeta del desarrollo con una estrella de alta temperatura como la que posee M27 indica un momento para impulsar proyectos e ideas en general. M27 es una nebulosa planetaria, una estrella agonizante que ha expulsado sus capas superficiales al espacio, dejando expuesto su núcleo de altisima temperatura. M27 representa motivaciones ideológicas, convicciones religiosas, científicas, artísticas, sociales...La tendencia durará muy probablemente hasta el próximo 17 de Enero, así que hay que aprovechar para impulsar todo tipo de proyectos motivados por convicciones personales... El contraparalelo de Mercurio las vuelve más accesibles y comunicables, más prácticas y la realidad provee de los elementos necesarios para que las cosas fluyan mejor....

     Posteriormente, pero sólo el dia 10/11, Mercurio se sitúa a 135° de Palas, en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M21. Esta combinación también favorece el desarrollo de ideas, pero en especial las nuevas, los proyectos que están apenas desrrollándose. M21 es un cúmulo estelar muy joven, con estrellas que apenas tienen 4 millones de años... Representan pues empresas y proyectos jóvenes, en sus primeras etapas. El fin de semana es excelente para generar estrategias bien organizadas que permitan llegar a las metas que nos proponemos. Hay que combinar la espontaneidad y las ideas frescas con un buen sentido de organización. De ese modo, los impedimentos serán fácilmente superados ahora y en los días que vienen... Asi que, ¡prepárense este fin de semana para el resto del mes con una buena estrategia!

     Una tendencia diferente, pero también positiva, es el Sol en conjunción a Venus y al cúmulo estelar M55. El Sol junto a Venus representa una tendencia social, armónica, incluso amorosa, pero el cúmulo M55 implica relaciones que tienen un factor de dispersión. M55 es uno de los cúmulos estelares más dispersos de la galaxia, sus estrellas no están concentradas hacia su núcleo como en otros cúmulos. Por lo tanto, indica relaciones que nos relajan o que nos dispersan, lo que está confirmado por la cuadratura entre el Sol/Venus y Vesta. Las relaciones nos desconcentran de nuestra concentración habitual. Que eso sea bueno o malo, depende de cada situación, ya que en ocasiones será necesario relajarse, y en otras, dejar la convivencia para centrarse en los propios asuntos...En todo caso, el fin de semana es ideal para actividades sociales, reuniones, fiestas, eventos...

     Juno en paralelo a la Nebulosa de la Mariposa (M2-9), en  trigono al Nodo Norte Lunar. Esta tendencia significa que si enfocamos los intercambios y compromisos con objetividad e igualdad, puede haber relaciones fructíferas en todos los planos. Esto es especialmente cierto en los negocios y en el área de la pareja. Juno es el asteroide de las relaciones y los contratos, La Nebulosa de la Mariposa (M2-9) es una estrella agonizante que vemos desde su ecuador, de una manera simétrica, equilibrada, contemplando ambos polos. Tomar en cuenta los dos lados de una situación o los dos puntos de vista de una relación ayudará a generar una cooperación fructífera y enriquecedora... La tendencia favorece el llegar a esa objetividad, y sólo dura hasta el miércoles de la semana próxima, ¡aprovechen!

     Mercurio en paralelo a Palas y en contraparalelo a M1, la Nebulosa del Cangrejo, es una tendencia vigente los días 11/12. Se refiere a ordenar situaciones caóticas. M1,la nNebulosa del Cangrejo, es una explosión de supernova, el remanente de una estella que explotó hace más de 700 años en la constelación de Tauro. Su tendencia es a generar ideas, pero de una forma desestructurada. De hecho, M1 puede representar situaciones complicadas, que han pasado por cambios drasticos. Pero el contraparalelo de Palas y Mercurio revela la oportunidad, entre el Domingo y el Lunes, de ordenar y darle una nueva estructura al caos. A veces, las mismas situaciones cambiantes pueden ser fertilizantes y enriquecedoras. Por ello es importante tener un plan de acción, y no dejar que las circunstancias, por más caóticas que sean, se desborden y causen complicaciones. Esta tendencia es ideal para todo tipo de reparaciones y para la visualización creativa.

August 16/17/18 - The weekend's astrological trends: choose yours! Pallas, Uranus and cluster M10 balance situations out of control, Jupiter and the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) expand our consciousness and also radical attitudes, while the Sun, Ceres and spiral galaxy M90 bring help for a quick recovery of distressed projects

August 16/17/18: Asteroid Pallas is parallel to star cluster M10 and contra parallel Uranus. This configuration corrects the effects caused by excessive individualism and tends to stabilize situations after  drastic changes. A contra parallel always means a balance, and planets that are in that aspect are at the same distance from the Celestial Equator, one south and one north, like a pair of scales. In this case, the balance has to do with the Uranian tendency to cause radical changes and unexpected turns, with rebellious and individualistic attitudes. Pallas is the great corrector among the asteroids, while M10 is a  particularly stable globular cluster in the sense that it has only three variable stars. Therefore, it is possible during this weekend to correct the negative effects of situations out of control. And if your case is not so drastic, you can use this trend for successful home repairs.

     Jupiter is in parallel to the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) and trine the Moon's North Node. This trend representss basically an expansion of consciousness, but it must be applied in an adequate context to bring good results. M27 is a dying star in the constellation Vulpecula, whose outer layers have been ejected into space, exposing a high-temperature core. The higher the temperature of a star, the greater its relationship to conceptual and ideological aspects of human experience. The high temperature of M27 points to a connection with the higher mind: science, art, spirituality, politics. The transit of Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, emphasizes and expands this trend, which can cause extreme effects if ideas taken too far.

     At a personal level, if you happen to tune in with this frequency, try to avoid useless ideological confrontations, rather channeling this energy into research, studies, or in the worst case, to pure mental reflection or simply reading. In this way, you will probably find great progress in finding knowledge, whether it is scientific, sociological, artistic or mystical. Unfortunately, at the international level this trend is likely to reflect a particularly difficult time in which extreme policies are carried out of proportion, with serious consequences, as is the case in Egypt and other parts of the world.

     The Sun is at 135° from Pluto, and in opposition to star cluster M29. This trend is kind of a repeat of last Thursday's, referring to overcome obstacles that have been holding back the development of brilliant ideas and projects. If only for a couple of days, the transit of the Sun is an indicator of the energy needed to break the bonds around such projects, although in some cases this may involve the use of force, physical, emotional or mental. But the goal is not to dominate or manipulate, but rather to release a  potential that has been hindered. If this is achieved to some extent during the weekend, it is likely that projects are put into operation with excellent results, and very quickly. The Sun conjuncts asteroid Ceres, and makes simultaneously a parallel to galaxy M90, an indicator of support and encouragement to situations with lack of resources. Spiral galaxy M90 has anemic parts (without significant formation of stars) on its outer arms, but has a high fertility around its core. The conjunction between Sun and Ceres can help to compensate for the lack of supplies or fuel, but the process is fast: M90 crosses the constellation Virgo at the impressive speed of 1,500 kilometers per second!. This undoubtedly represents a fast and successful recovery of both projects in difficulty and physical or emotional health.

     And, at the very end of the weekend, Mercury is conjunct Vesta, both in opposition to star cluster M30. This astrological combination represents a necessary protection to prevent external disturbances. M30 is a globular cluster with a gravitationally collapsed core, symbolizing difficult relationships. Mercury and Vesta represent mental concentration, and the opposition with M30 indicates we must avoid falling into provocations, engaging in chaotic, aggressive or inharmonious situations. Those who are in tune with this trend can meditate or study, channeling the mind to escape the difficulties of the immediate environment or the world in general. On the other hand, in a negative sense, some may close their minds to external complications, but we must remember that denying reality does not help to resolve it. Don´t use this tendency to evade, but rather to protect yourself from disturbing interruptions: the goal is to remain calm amid the storm. Any complications will be best managed if one faces them with integrity, equanimity and mental clarity.

Agosto 16/17/18 - Tendencias del fin de semana: ¡escojan la suya! Palas, Urano y el cúmulo M10 equilibran situaciones fuera de control, Júpiter y la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) expanden la conciencia y las actitudes radicales, mientras el Sol, Ceres y la galaxia espiral M90 ayudan a una recuperación rápida de proyectos en dificultades

Agosto 16/17/18: El asteroide Palas está en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M10 y en contraparalelo a Urano. Esta configuración tiende a corregir los efectos causados por un excesivo individualismo y a estabilizar situaciones después de pasar por cambios drásticos. Un contraparalelo siempre representa un equilibrio, ya que los planetas que lo forman están a la misma distancia del Ecuador Celeste, uno al sur, y otro al norte, como si fuera una especie de balanza. En este caso, el equilibrio tiene que ver con la tendencia uraniana a provocar cambios radicales, virajes inesperados y actitudes rebeldes e individualistas. Palas es la gran correctora entre los asteroides, mientras que M10 es un cúmulo globular particularmente estable en el sentido de que tiene solamente 3 estrellas variables. Así, es posible durante este fin de semana componer los efectos negativos de situaciones fuera de control. Y si no se trata de algo tan drástico, es posible usar esta tendencia para reparaciones domésticas con éxito.

     Júpiter está en paralelo a la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) y en trígono al Nodo Norte Lunar. Esta tendencia representa básicamente una expansión de la conciencia, pero hay que situarla en el contexto adecuado para que de buenos resultados. M27 es una estrella agonizante en la constelación de Vulpecula, cuyas capas exteriores han sido expulsadas hacia el espacio exterior, exponiendo un núcleo de altísima temperatura. Mientras más alta es la temperatura de una estrella, más relación tiene con aspectos conceptuales e ideológicos de la experiencia humana. La alta temperatura de M27 la relaciona pues con la mente superior: ciencia, arte, espiritualidad, política. El tránsito de Júpiter, el planeta más grande el sistema solar, acentúa y expande esta tendencia, por lo que puede provocar efectos extremos si las ideas se llevan demasiado lejos.

     En lo personal, si se sintonizan con esta frecuencia, lo ideal es evitar confrontaciones ideológicas inútiles, canalizando esta energía hacia la investigación, los estudios, o en el peor de los casos, hacia la reflexión mental pura o la lectura. Así, es probable que haya grandes avances y progreso en la adquisición y descubrimiento del conocimiento, no importa si es científico, sociológico, artístico o místico. Desafortunadamente, en el plano internacional es probable que esto refleje un momento particularmente difícil, en el cual las políticas se llevan a extremos fuera de proporción, con consecuencias graves, como es el caso en Egipto y en otros lugares del mundo.

     El Sol se sitúa a 135° de Plutón, y en oposición al cúmulo estelar M29. Esta tendencia es una repetición de la del Jueves pasado, y se refiere a superar obstáculos que han estado deteniendo el desarrollo de ideas y proyectos brillantes, pero bloqueados. Aunque sea sólo por un par de días, el tránsito del Sol es un indicador de la energía necesaria para romper las ataduras de dichos proyectos, aunque ello en algunos casos pueda implicar el uso de la fuerza, física, emocional o mental. Pero el objetivo no es dominar o manipular, sino liberar un potencial restringido. Si esto se logra en alguna medida durante el fin de semana, es probable que los proyectos que se pongan a funcionar tengan excelentes resultados, y de manera rápida. El Sol hace posteriormente una conjunción al asteroide Ceres, y un paralelo a la galaxia M90, un indicador de apoyo y fomento a situaciones con falta de recursos: la galaxia espiral M90 tiene partes anémicas (sin formación de estrellas) en sus brazos exteriores, pero una gran fertilidad alrededor su núcleo. La conjunción Sol/Ceres puede ayudar a compensar la falta de alimento, apoyo o combustible, pero el proceso es rápido: M90 recorre la constelación de Virgo a la impresionante velocidad de ¡1,500 kilómetros por segundo!. Esto sin duda, representa una recuperación rápida y exitosa, tanto de proyectos en dificultades como de la salud física y emocional.

     Y para terminar el fin de semana, Mercurio se sitúa en conjunción a Vesta, y ambos en oposición al cúmulo estelar M30. Esta combinación astrológica representa una protección necesaria para evitar perturbaciones externas. M30 es un cúmulo globular con el núcleo gravitacional colapsado, lo que simboliza relaciones difíciles. Mercurio y Vesta representan concentración mental, y al oponerse a M30 evitan caer en provocaciones, engancharse en situaciones caóticas, agresivas o inarmónicas. Quienes se sintonicen con esta tendencia pueden meditar, estudiar, canalizar la mente hacia el interiory sustraerse a dificultades del medio ambiente inmediato o del mundo. Por otro lado, en un sentido negativo, algunos pueden cerrar su mente a complicaciones externas, pero hay que recordar que negar una realidad no contribuye a resolverla. No usen esta tendencia para evadir, sino para protegerse de interrupciones perturbadoras: el objetivo es guardar la calma en medio de la tormenta. Los asuntos se resuelven mejor si uno los enfrenta con entereza, ecuanimidad y claridad.

Julio 4/5: The Sun, Uranus, the Dumbbell Nebula and galaxy M61 indicate a conflictive, unstable and transformative atmosphere that must be handled with care. Venus, Supernova 1987A, Mercury and the pulsar Geminga provide some help, harmonizing the environment and focusing the mind on inner peace

July 4/5: The Sun is square Uranus and parallel to M27, the Dumbbell Nebula. A distance of 90° between the Sun and Uranus can be seen as a strong clash of personalities: it is a day in which empathy and togetherness simply won´t work much. On the contrary, the prevailing trend is to express a lot of freedom and a tendency to break with the established, to rebel and to experiment. Now the Sun begins to transit, through a parallel of declination, the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), which is a dying star that symbolizes  the tendency to develop powerful ideas. If you take this to an extreme, it is easy to fall into fanaticism or an exaggerated idealistic motivation. Be careful not to overdo your mind, whether in personal or ideological terms.

     Furthermore, Uranus is already forming a parallel to galaxy M61, suggesting a radical tendency that brings instability. M61 is a highly energetic galaxy in the constellation Virgo, in which six supernovae (!!!!) have been detected . Definitely, this carries an explosive and transformative connotation. This trend, in sharp conflict with the Sun can cause substantial destabilization in many personal and international situations. If you find that you have connected personally to this frequency, try not to put your hands on things to avoid being affected strongly by conflictive situations. Trying to correct things that are out of control today is like standing in the middle of the railroad tracks to stop a locomotive with just your willpower. You would end up completely flattened, so it is better not to get exposed to serious problems. But yes, in the international arena, it is very likely that this trend will reflect highly critical situations: we will be seeing them in the news.

     Fortunately, Venus is contra parallael to Pluto and in opposition to supernova 1987A. Given the atmosphere generated by the Sun square Uranus, this Venusian trend represents a blessing and salvation for many. The contra parallel to Pluto represents the necessary will to escape manipulations, either in terms of love, social, economic or employment issues. And the opposition with Supernova 1987A, one of the most recent and therefore most energetic,  indicates the peace needed to balance explosive situations or transformative processes, with all the agitation and discomfort that they represent. Yes, today it is possible to generate a little harmony within a turbulent environment, but this requires that we  connect consciously with this trend instead of being drawn into the vortex of manipulation and radical attitudes around. Let the power of Venus flow!

     Asteroid Ceres is in opposition to star cluster M71, at 150° from Neptune and at 45° from Pallas. This combination is ideal to fix situations where there has been disruption, abandonment, neglect, anything that needs a structured intervention for a substantial correction. Ceres, with her maternal and protective attitude, opposes M71, which is a very sparse star cluster that tends to negligence or a lack of discipline, just like Neptune. Pallas is the great corrective of Neptunian problems, thanks to her strategic and organized action. It is therefore an excellent time for giving maintenance to all areas that need it, do not postpone issues of this kind for another day!

     Mercury retrograde is at 30° from Pallas, conjunct the Eskimo Nebula, and parallel to Geminga. This trend, which will only last for about 24 hours (most of the trends that appear in the Galactic Guide last a couple of days or more), refers to remain silent, ignoring the outside. All this in order to concentrate on solving complex problems or developing creativity that can be equally complex, yet sophisticated and original. The powerful parallel between Mercury and Geminga represents silence, since Mercury is the planet of communication and Geminga is a pulsar or neutron star without emission of radio waves. As almost all pulsars emit radiation in the radio frequency, it is thought that Geminga just doesn't point its radio beams towards Earth, but astrologically this implies a lack of communication. It also means silence: do not speak in order to avoid pulling the external turbulence into your personal reality. The normal everyday Mercurial curiosity can be counterproductive in an environment like this, so do not stick your nose where you do not belong! Silence can be the best strategy...

     Mercury is talkative by nature, but today it must remain silent at times to focus creativity into the Eskimo Nebula, with which it makes an ecliptic conjunction. The Eskimo represents, as we have seen in other editions of the Galactic Guide, complex situations and sophisticated creativity. Pallas, meanwhile, opposes M9, a star cluster that despite being subject to strong gravitational pressures from the outside, on the inside it manifests great stability. In short, we must remain calm amid the storm, experience great inner peace and concentration while standing right at the hurricane's eye. Do not let yourself be strongy impressed either positively or negatively by the incoming information and news, whether they are terrible or sublime. The challenge today is to stay calm amid internal turmoil that will start fading as the weekend arrives.

     Will you be able of doing this? I bet you will, if you put yourself consciously in a position where you can contemplate reality without getting too involved in it. It is worth a try!

Julio 4/5: El Sol, Urano, la Nebulosa de la Manzana y la Galaxia M61 indican un ambiente conflictivo, inestable y transformador que es preciso manejar con mucho cuidado. Venus, la Supernova 1987A, Mercurio y el pulsar Geminga aportan ayuda, armonizando y concentrando la mente en la paz interior

Julio 4/5: El Sol se encuentra en cuadratura a Urano y en paralelo a M27, la Nebulosa de la Manzana. Una distancia de 90° entre el Sol y Urano puede considerarse como un choque de voluntades, por lo que es evidente que no se trata de un día en el cual predomine la empatía y la unión. Por el contrario, las tendencias predominantes en la atmósfera son a manifestar una gran libertad y la tendencia a romper con lo establecido, a rebelarse y a experimentar. Ahora bien, el Sol comienza a transitar por un paralelo de declinación a M27 (la Nebulosa de la Manzana), que es una estrella agonizante cuya relación simbólica es con la tendencia a manifestar ideas poderosas. Si son llevadas al extremo, se puede caer en el fanatismo o en una motivación idealista exagerada: hay que cuidar de no excederse en los estímulos mentales, ya sean personales o ideológicos.

     Por otro lado, Urano ya se encuentra formando un paralelo a la galaxia M61, lo cual indica cambios radicales y una tendencia a la inestabilidad. M61 es una galaxia situada en la constelación de Virgo, que es sumamente energética y en la cual han sido detectadas ¡6 supernovas!. Definitivamente, esto le da una connotación explosiva y transformadora. Esta tendencia, contrapuesta al Sol y en conflicto con él  puede provocar una desestabilización sustancial en muchas situaciones personales e internacionales. Si detectan haberse conectado con esta tendencia en lo personal, traten de no meter las manos para no ser afectados mayormente. El tratar de corregir situaciones fuera de control el día de hoy es como pararse en medio de las vías de un tren para detener a una locomotora con fuerza de voluntad. Terminarían completamente aplanados, así que no se expongan a problemas graves. Eso sí, en el plano inteernacional es muy probable que esto refleje situaciones sumamente críticas: ya las veremos en las noticias.

     Afortunadamente, Venus está en contraparalelo a Plutón y en oposición a la supernova 1987A. Dado el ambiente generado por el Sol en cuadratura a Urano, la tendencia venusina cae como una bendición y un recurso salvador para muchos. El contraparalelo a Plutón representa la fuerza de voluntad necesaria para sustraerse a manipulaciones, ya sea en el plano amoroso, social, económico o laboral. Y la oposición con la Supernova 1987A, una de las más recientes y por lo tanto de las más energéticas, está indicando la paz y la tranquilidad necesarias para armonizar situaciones explosivas o en proceso de transformación, con la agitación y las molestias que esto significa. Sí, hoy es posible poner un poco de armonía en un ambiente turbulento, pero para ello es preciso conectarse conscientemente con esta tendencia en vez de dejarse arrastrar por el torbellino de manipulaciones y actitudes radicales alrededor.
¡Hagamos valer el poder de Venus!

     El asteroide Ceres está en oposición al cúmulo estelar M71, a 150° de Neptuno y a 45° de Palas. Esta combinación es ideal para hacerse cargo de situaciones donde ha habido desorganización, abandono, negligencia y que necesitan una intervención estructurada para ser corregidas. Ceres, con su actitud materna y protectora, se opone a M71, que es un cúmulo muy disperso y que por lo mismo tiende a la negligencia o falta de disciplina, al igual que Neptuno. Palas es la gran correctora de problemas de naturaleza neptuniana, gracias a su acción estratégica y organizada. Es pues un excelente momento para darle mantenimiento a todas las áreas que lo necesiten, ¡no lo dejen para otros días!

     Mercurio retrógrado está a 30° de Palas, en conjunción a la Nebulosa del Esquimal, y en paralelo a Geminga. Esta tendencia, que sólo durará alrededor de 24 horas (la mayoría de las que salen en la Galactic Guide duran un par de días o más), se refiere a guardar silencio y hacer caso omiso del exterior para concentrarse en la resolución de problemas complejos o en desarrollar una creatividad que puede ser igualmente complicada, pero sofisticada y original. El poderoso paralelo entre Mercurio y Geminga representa silencio, ya que Mercurio es el planeta de la comunicación y Geminga es un pulsar o estrella de neutrones sin emisión de ondas de radio. Como casi todos los pulsares emiten en la frecuencia de radio, se piensa que Geminga no lanza sus rayos en dirección de la Tierra, pero astrológicamente eso implica una falta de comunicación. Y representa silencio: no hablen de más para no jalar hacia su realidad personal la turbulencia del exterior. La curiosidad normal puede ser contraproducente en un ambiente como éste, ¡no metan la nariz en donde no les corresponde! El silencio puede ser la mejor estrategia...

     Mercurio, que es parlanchín por naturaleza, debe quedarse callado para enfocar su creatividad hacia la Nebulosa del Esquimal, con la cual hace una conjunción eclíptica, y que representa, como hemos visto en otras ediciones de la Galactic Guide, situaciones complejas y una creatividad sofisticada. Palas, por su parte, se opone a M9, un cúmulo estelar que a pesar de estar sujeto a fuertes presiones gravitatorias desde el exterior, en su interior luce una gran estabilidad. En resumen, es preciso guardar la calma en medio de la tormenta, experimentar una gran paz y concentración estando en el ojo del huracán. No se dejen influir ni positivamente ni negativamente por la información que les llega, así sean noticias terribles o sublimes. El reto de hoy es permanecer con calma interna en medio de turbulencias que irán desvaneciéndose conforme llegue el fin de semana.

     ¿Seremos capaces de lograrlo? Yo apuesto a que sí, si nos situamos conscientemente en una posición desde donde podamos contemplar la realidad sin involucrarnos demasiado con ella. Vale la pena intentarlo.

June 6/7: The Sun, the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) and asteroid Chaos make us think and structure, while Venus and the Eagle Nebula (M16) combine to make good investments

June 6/7: The Sun is conjunct asteroid Chaos and parallel to the Dumbbell Nebula (M27). This combination may terminate or accentuate the chaos around us. M27 is actually a dying star whose high-temperature is symbolically related to transcendent ideas and issues: religion, spirituality, politics, philosophy, science. The use of the higher mind can give structure to disorganized situations, and is also excellent for scientific experimentation, and the understanding of situations in which there is apparently no sense. The mind is in  power today, giving structure and order, clarifying all sorts of ambiguous circumstances.

     But M27 is a planetary nebula, a star that is deflating, releasing its atmosphere into space. In some cases, this will coincide with situations that, far from being structured, become more chaotic through a lack of order, clarity or understanding. Too much thinking can bring confusion rather than clarity ... It will be better to wait for another day to organize, releasing control when there is no choice. For now, it should be understood that chaos plays an important role in our lives, such as does order. Let us not fear chaos, because a new order always is born out of it!

     Venus is in semisextile to Mars and Pallas, opposed to M16, the Eagle Nebula. This combination promises to be excellent in the area of finance, and is especially auspicious for shopping or doing investments planned in advance. Venus/M16 opposition represents fertility and abundance, as M16, the Eagle Nebula, has a large region of star formation, indicating productivity. However, caution should be exercised, as it will be difficult to refuse buying attractive things. Mars and Pallas represent an impulse that can lead to buy what is not needed. Still, it's a good day to invest in things of value or that represent something precious to us...

Junio 6/7: El Sol, la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) y el asteroide Chaos nos hacen reflexionar y ordenar, mientras Venus y la Nebulosa del Águila, (M16) se combinan para hacer buenas inversiones

Junio 6/7: El Sol en conjunción al asteroide Caos y en paralelo a M27. Esta combinación puede terminar o acentuar el caos existente a nuestro alrededor. M27 es la Nebulosa de la Manzana, una estrella agonizante cuya altísima temperatura la relaciona simbólicamente con asuntos e ideas trascendentes: religion, espiritualidad, política, filosofía, ciencia. El uso de la mente superior puede darle una estructura a situaciones desorganizadas, y también un fuerte impuso a la experimentación científica, a la comprensión de situaciones en las cuales aparentemente no hay sentido. La mente tiene pues el poder de estructurar y ordenar, aclarando todo tipo de  circunstancias ambiguas.

     Pero M27 es una nebulosa planetaria, una estrella que se desinfla, soltando su atmósfera al espacio exterior. En algunos casos, esto coincidirá con situaciones que, lejos de ordenarse, se vuelven más caóticas por falta de estructura, claridad o de entendimiento. Demasiada reflexión puede confundir en vez de clarificar... Habrá pues que esperar a un día mejor para organizarse, soltando el control cuando no quede más remedio. Por lo pronto, habrá que entender que el caos tiene una función en nuestras vidas, así como la tiene el orden. ¡No le tengamos miedo al caos, pues de ahí surge un nuevo ordenamiento!

     Venus está en semisextil a Marte y Palas, en oposición a M16, la Nebulosa del Águila. Esta combinación promete ser excelente en el área de las finanzas, y es especialmente propicia para compras o inversiones planeadas con anticipación. La oposición Venus/M16 representa fertilidad y abundancia, ya que M16, la Nebulosa del Águila, tiene una amplia región de formación de estrellas, lo que indica productividad. Sin embargo, hay que tener precaución, pues será difícil negarse a comprar cosas útiles o bellas que pasen por delante de nosotros. Marte y Palas representan un impulso decidido que puede llevarnos a comprar lo que no se necesita. Aún así, es un buen día para invertir en cosas de valor o que representen algo valioso para nosotros...

Mercury, Chiron and the Horsehead Nebula do some interesting research, Venus and the Guitar Nebula accelerate financial and artistic issues, while Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula calm things down and make us reflective

April 13/14:  Nebulae will play a leading role among astrological trends this weekend. To start with,  asteroid Juno is conjunct the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), squaring Saturn and Omega Centauri. The  Juno and M27 mix indicates the possibility of finding like-minded people at an intellectual level. Somehow, this means an ideological marriage, so we may expect interesting and profound conversations, as well as great attractions motivated by ideals, whether spiritual, scientific or artistic, causing a mutual admiration. This is because the Dumbbell Nebula has at its center a dying star of very high temperature, which relates to the higher mind: science, spirituality and the arts. Relationships may be particularly intense during the weekend, but they will be beyond emotional or sexual passion, they will be trascendent. Although they may have an erotic or emotional component, they are more like a friendship, as Juno is in the sign of Aquarius, emotionally distant and traditionally related to friends. It is therefore necessary to avoid triviality and emotional excesses to take advantage of this trend. But most friendly, professional or love relationships will undoubtedly be affected by this impulse that leads us to explore the ideological connections with those around.

     However, Juno is in ecliptic square (at 90°) to Saturn and the giant star cluster Omega Centauri, which represents a tensions caused by social conventions. While it is possible to chat and share in freedom, it is also possible to find strong disagreements about traditions, customs, conventions and expectations that are not met. Behind an atmosphere of freedom, many relationships may face attempts to control, whether conscious or unconscious, that may cause temporary discomfort or even break-ups or drastic and painful confrontations. This is more likely if there are previous tensions or if the limits and goals of the relationship have not been set clearly. In this sense, it may be helpful that Juno is in sextile (60°) to Uranus, which may give a positive turn to tense situations. Mutual goals may be renewed if there is the will to discuss things. But this also makes easier to break-up and to whithdraw from relationships where there is manipulation or power games. We need to drop these if we want to relate with freedom, spontaneity and mutual respect.

     Fortunately, Mercury, the planet of communication, negotiation and dialogue, is in the equinoctial point (0° Aries), in parallel with Chiron and the Horsehead Nebula. This indicates that therapeutic conversations can have good results. It is possible to address the most delicate issues and thus heal the dysfunctional corners of our relationships. But beyond therapy, this combination is excellent for research and study, as mercurial curiosity meets with Chiron's wisdom and the Horsehead Nebula tendency to highlight the occult. This famous nebula, located in the constellation of Orion, is actually a dark dust cloud located in front of a giant cloud of glowing ionized hydrogen, which serves as a bright and attractive backdrop which makes it a particularly attractive object visually. Therefore, it is an excellent day for intellectual, educational, academic activities, for reading a good book, or to find lost objects or hidden information. It is also good for health diagnoses, lab tests, to make repairs and buy tools, and of course to give and get good advice.

     On the 14th, Venus is contra parallel to Neptune, conjunct the Guitar Nebula, and at 45° from Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula. Venus conjunct the Guitar Nebula represents either ruptures or reconciliations, as this nebula is actually an asymmetric supernova explosion in which the neutron star is moving on one direction and the cloud of debris on the opposite. This symbolizes separation, but also a great acceleration because the neutron star is apparently the fastest in our galaxy. So Venus issues, mainly related to love, art and finance, will tend to be accelerated by this trend during the weekend. Great advances in those fields can be achieved with relatively little effort. In any case, you should avoid impulsiveness (especially when spending money or making investments) as well as the tendency to emotional outbursts. A neutral attitude, moderate and thoughtful, will make things easier. Jupiter and the Witch Head Nebula indicate positive results of showing calmness, prudence and even indifference. The Witch Head is a reflection nebula, whose main characteristic is passivity and mental reflection, much needed in harsh or very energetic environments, which need objectivity, and a cool and reasoned approach.

Abril 13/14: Fin de semana de Nebulosas... Juno y la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) intensifican las relaciones, pero también favorecen las rupturas. Mercurio, Quirón y la Nebulosa Cabeza de Caballo hacen interesantes investigaciones, Venus y la Nebulosa de la Guitarra aceleran las finanzas y el arte, Júpiter y la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja calman los ánimos y nos hacen reflexionar.

Abril 13/14: Las Nebulosas adquieren un gran protagonismo entre las tendencias astrológicas del fin de semana. Para empezar, el asteroide Juno se encuentra en conjunción a la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27), en cuadratura a Saturno y a Omega Centauri. La mezcla Juno/M27 indica la posibilidad de encontrar personas afines en el plano intelectual. De alguna manera, significa un matrimonio ideológico, por lo que son de esperar pláticas  interesantes y profundas, a la vez que grandes atracciones motivadas por ideales científicos, espirituales o artísticos, que provocan una admiración mutua. Esto se debe a que la Nebulosa de la Manzana contiene en su centro una estrella agonizante de altísima temperatura, lo que la relaciona con la mente superior, la ciencia, la espiritualidad y las bellas artes. Las relaciones que encajen en esta categoría, si bien pueden ser intensas, van más allá de la pasión emocional o sexual para ubicarse en el plano de lo trascendente. Aunque tengan un componente erótico, se parecen más a una amistad, ya que Juno se encuentra en el signo zodiacal de Acuario, distanciado emocionalmente y tradicionalmente relacionado con los amigos. Por ello, es necesario evitar la trivialidad y los excesos emocionales para aprovechar al máximo esta tendencia. Pero la mayoría de las relaciones de amistad, profesionales o de pareja se verán sin duda afectadas por este impulso que nos lleva a explorar las conexiones ideológicas con nuestros semejantes.

     Sin embargo, Juno se encuentra en cuadratura eclíptica (a 90°) a Saturno y al gigantesco cúmulo estelar Omega Centauri, lo que representa tensiones causadas por un choque con las convenciones sociales. Si bien se puede conversar y compartir en libertad, es posible también que haya fuertes discrepancias respecto a tradiciones, costumbres, convenciones y expectativas que no se cumplen. Detrás de un ambiente de libertad, muchas relaciones pueden enfrentarse a intentos de control, conscientes o inconscientes, que pueden provocar desde molestias pasajeras hasta rupturas drásticas y confrontaciones dolorosas. Esto es más probable si existen tensiones previas o si no se han expuesto con claridad los límites y las metas de la relación. En este sentido, puede ser de gran ayuda el que Juno esté en sextil a Urano (a 60°), lo que puede dar un viraje positivo y una renovación de objetivos mutuos si hay la capacidad de dialogar. Pero esto también facilita las rupturas y el desprendimiento en relaciones donde hay manipulación o juegos de poder. Hay que soltarlos para poder relacionarse con libertad, espontaneidad y respeto mutuos.

     Afortunadamente Mercurio, el planeta de la comunicación, la negociación y el diálogo, se encuentra en el punto equinoccial (0° de Aries), en paralelo a Quirón y a la Nebulosa Cabeza de Caballo, lo que indica que las conversaciones terapéuticas pueden tener buen resultado. Se pueden tratar los asuntos más escabrosos y así sanar los rincones deteriorados en nuestras relaciones. Pero más allá de la terapia, esta combinación es excelente para investigar y estudiar, pues se juntan la curiosidad mercuriana con la sabiduría de Quirón y la tendencia a resaltar lo oculto de la Nebulosa Cabeza de Caballo. Esta famosa nebulosa, situada en la constelación de Orión, es una nube de polvo oscuro situada enfrente de una gigantesca nube de hidrógeno ionizado, que funciona como un telón brillante y la vuelve un objeto muy atractivo visualmente. Por ello, es un día excelente para actividades intelectuales, educativas, académicas, para leer un buen libro, para buscar objetos o información oculta, para realizar diagnósticos de salud, análisis de laboratorio, para hacer reparaciones y comprar herramientas, y por supuesto para dar y recibir buenos consejos.

     El día 14, Venus está en contraparalelo a Neptuno, en conjunción a la Nebulosa de la Guitarra, a 45° de Júpiter y de la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja. Venus en conjunción a la Nebulosa de la Guitarra representa ya sea rupturas o reconciliaciones, pues esta nebulosa es en realidad una explosión de supernova asimétrica, en la cual la estrella de neutrones sale volando por un lado y la nube de escombros por el opuesto. Esto simboliza separación, pero también un gran aceleramiento, ya que esta estrella de neutrones es aparentemente la más rápida detectada en nuestra galaxia. Por ello, los asuntos de Venus, principalmente el amor, el arte y las finanzas, tenderán a acelerarse bajo esta tendencia y el fin de semana puede traer grandes avances en estos campos con relativamente poco esfuerzo. En todo caso, es recomendable evitar la impulsividad (sobre todo al gastar dinero o hacer inversiones), así como la tendencia a explosiones emocionales. Una actitud neutra y reflexiva tenderá a moderar las cosas. Júpiter y la Nebulosa Cabeza de Bruja indican resultados positivos al manifestar calma, e incluso indiferencia. La Cabeza de Bruja es una nebulosa de reflexión, cuya principal característica es la pasividad y la reflexión mental, muy necesaria en ambientes agresivos o muy energéticos, que necesitan enfriarse y razonarse con objetividad.

June 6th: the Sun in parallel to Venus and the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) take ideas and desires to an extreme, inviting us to moderate and reach an harmonious middle ground...

June 6th: the Sun and Venus are in parallel and at 30° from Vesta. After the much publicized transit of Venus across the solar disk, which is actually an ecliptic conjunction (the technical term), Venus and the Sun form a parallel of declination. This means they are at the same distance from the celestial equator, the circle that divides the celestial sphere in two ... This is a significant alignment, perhaps more than the conjunction, although visually it does not constitute a show. But the effects can be felt strongly too!  

     The parallel Sun/Venus includes the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), located in the constellation Vulpecula and it is a star in the final stages of its life. M27 is ejecting its atmosphere into space through its two poles, giving it the appearance of the fresh remains of an apple. However, the trend is not as sweet as apple juice: the central star is extremely hot (85,000 degrees Kelvin!). This corresponds with extremist ideological tendencies and an opinionated mind.  

     The parallel Sun/Venus/M27 thus indicates the possibility of getting caught by extremist ideas, whether scientific, religious, political or artistic ... This can result in heavy fighting and discussions, that basically are looking to reach a middle ground, to find some objectivity. The harmony implicit in the combination Sun/Venus can help to moderate things, but the effort has to be for the sake of knowledge and not through trying to impose our own points of view, as wonderful as they might be. As most people are not aware of this, we will witness in various parts of the world, titanic duels between political opponents, religious clashes, students vs. government, an so on. On the other hand, this combination can give very positive results at an artistic and scientific level, and therefore great performances and interesting news in both fields are expected.  

     At a personal level, the combination Sun/Venus/M27 strongly emphasizes desire, sexuality, personal emotions, so the high temperature of M27 can make us boil inside... Venus is too very hot, as it retains almost all the heat that it gets from the Sun beneath its dense atmosphere. As we cannot avoid feeling a strong impulse at this level, the best solution is to channel it positively through a positive emotional expression, but above all, creating beauty, harmony around us, in our relationships and our work with the elements we have at our disposal. Trying to impose our own  idea of harmony would be absurd!  What we have in front of us is the material available to have positive connections with friends, family, family, colleagues, acquaintances... Don't look further! Artistic creations will be most favored by this combination and the best channel for this energy, so we do not get swept by it, but catapulted instead to reach our goals and have achievements.

     Do not let your ideas take precedence over reality! Harmony must prevail or we will get exactly the opposite... Maintaining peace and integrity is the humble contribution of the asteroid Vesta at 30° of this incandescent trio... (Vesta is also symbolized by fire, but as an icon of spiritual inner peace, like a candle).

     Finally, Mercury is at 30° from Jupiter, which emphasizes the need to adjust to different ideas. This also encourages trade, sales, distribution, advertising, exchange, travel and promises a relatively flowing daily life in general if you have some flexibility.

Junio 6: el Sol en paralelo a Venus y la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27) llevan las ideas y los deseos al extremo, invitándonos a moderarlos y llegar a un justo medio armónico...

Junio 6: el Sol en paralelo a Venus y a 30° de Vesta. Después del tan publicitado tránsito de Venus por el disco solar, que en realidad es una conjunción eclíptica (el término técnico), Venus y el Sol hacen un paralelo de declinación, lo que quiere decir que están a la misma distancia del ecuador celeste, el círculo que divide a la esfera celeste en dos... Esta es una alineación significativa, quizás más que la conjunción aunque visualmente no sea un espectáculo. ¡Pero los efectos se pueden sentir también!

    El paralelo de declinación Sol/Venus incluye a la Nebulosa de la Manzana (M27), situada en la constelación de Vulpecula y que es una estrella en sus últimas fases de vida. M27 está expulsando su atmósfera al espacio a través de sus dos polos, dándole la apariencia de los restos de una manzana recién comida. Sin embargo, su tendencia no es tan dulce como las manzanas: la estrella central es extremadamente caliente (85,000 grados Kelvin!!) y esto corresponde con tendencias extremistas a nivel mental e ideológico.

    El paralelo Sol/Venus/M27 indica pues la posibilidad de llevar al extremo las ideas, ya sean científicas, religiosas, políticas o artísticas... Esto puede producir fuertes enfrentamientos y discusiones, que en el fondo buscan llegar a un punto medio, a una objetividad. La armonía implícita en la combinación Sol/Venus puede ayudar a moderar las cosas, pero el esfuerzo tiene que ser en nombre del conocimiento y no de imponer a la fuerza los propios puntos de vista, por más maravillosos que puedan ser. Como la mayor parte de la gente no está consciente de esto, seremos testigos, en varias partes del mundo, de duelos titánicos entre opositores políticos, religiosos. Por otro lado, esta conjunción puede dar resultados muy positivos en el plano artísitico y científico, por lo que son de esperarse grandes espectáculos y noticias muy interesantes en ambos campos.

    En lo personal, la combinación Sol/Venus/M27 enfatiza mucho los deseos, la sexualidad, las emociones personales, que por la temperatura de M27 pueden hacernos hervir por dentro. Venus es muy caliente también, pues retiene casi todo el calor que le llega del Sol debajo de su densa atmósfera. Pero tampoco podemos evitar un impulso fuerte a este nivel, por lo que la mejor solución es canalizarlo positivamente a través de una expresión afectiva positiva, pero sobre todo, creando belleza, armonía a nuestro alrededor, en nuestras relaciones y nuestro trabajo, con los elementos que dispongamos. Tratar de imponer nuestra idea de armonía sería absurdo; lo que tenemos enfrente es el material disponible para tener conexiones positivas entre amigos, pareja, familia, colegas, conocidos... Las creaciones artísticas serán las más favorecidas por esta combinación y el mejor canal para que esta energía no nos arrastre, sino que nos impulse.

    ¡No dejen que sus ideas se antepongan a la realidad! La armonía debe prevalecer o se logrará exactamente lo contrario...  Mantener la paz y la integridad es la humilde aportación del asteroide Vesta a 30° de este trío incandescente...(Vesta también representa el fuego, pero como símbolo de paz espiritual, como en una vela)

     Finalmente, Mercurio se encuentra a 30° de Júpiter, lo que enfatiza la necesidad de ajustarse a ideas diferentes. favorece también el comercio, las ventas, la difusión, la publicidad, los intercambios, los viajes y en general la vida cotidiana si se tiene un poco de flexibilidad.
