October 20/21: Vesta, the Sun and the Butterfly Nebula (M2-9) indicate a good time to achieve objectivity, focus and equanimity, while Mercury, Juno and star cluster M5 strive to overcome communication problems and conventional points of view

     A powerful, triple parallel between the Sun, Vesta and the Butterfly Nebula (M-2-9) indicates a great day to focus the mind and achieve inner balance. The combination Sun / Vesta is undoubtedly an element of concentration, avoiding distractions, while the Butterfly Nebula, with its symmetrical "twin jets", represents objectivity, balance. The Butterfly is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, and is a dying star that expels its mass into space in the last stages of its life, through two jets in its north pole and south pole.

     Although many stars end their lives in this way, we see the Butterfly Nebula from Earth from its equatorial plane, so we can contemplate the symmetry of its jets. This symmetry has a meaning, and refers to the notion of balance balance, seeing both ends of a situation, to find a middle ground of objectivity. The trend today, which includes the parallel Sun / Vesta / Butterfly can be expressed in various ways, among which may be meditation, focus on daily work, mental reflection, research. The resulting balance and mental clarity can have excellent results in our activities and give us inner peace.

     The most important thing is to be able to calm the mind, always eager for stimulation, so that it can manifest through tranquility and equanimity. In its highest expression, this trend involves analyzing one's own prejudices: be prepared to question yourself. Do not assume that you are absolutely right: circumstances may give us a lesson in humility if we are arrogant or rigid with our convictions. On the other hand, this trend may be disappointing for those who seek or need a lot of motivation and thrill, taking sides in most situations. If radicalism and confrontation are sought, it is better to wait for another day with more strident trends... Clarity and serenity inside our minds will be more effective than direct, opinionated interventions outside.

     Vesta is also conjunct the South Lunar Node, and opposed to galaxy M84, located in the constellation Virgo. M84 is characterized, among other things, for its strong radio emission, which involves a great need for communication. Vesta and South Lunar Node are opposed to M84, suggesting the need for peace, focus on inner balance, avoiding external communication and stress.

     While this trend may involve resistance to speak, to think, to express, to send information, it is actually a good counterweight to another trend that stimulates much dialogue. It is the parallel between Juno Mercury, which results in a need for intimate talks, the exchange of confidential information, and share time and resources with close people. However, there might be some inconsistencies in relationships, as Mercury and Juno are contra parallel to M5, a star cluster with many variable stars, indicating communication failures. However, if there is real empathy between people, any difficulties might be overcome..

     The combination of M5 with Juno and Mercury  reveals the need to get over  communication problems, but the amount of effort needed to do that can make some people rather choose Vesta-like attitudes, avoiding dialogue. The contra parallel between  Mercury / Juno  and M5 also reveals the need to overcome conventional, outdated views, since M5 is a very old cluster. It epresents the past, traditions, conventional views, prejudices, outdated beliefs. Communication in this case can serve to overcome mental rigidity and compensate with a good, enlightening dialogue ...

    Whether striving to have a good exchange with others, shutting distractions to concentrate better, or taking both options depending on the particular context, we will have to deal with intense communication issues, sometimes complicated. But everyone will choose the attitude that best suits the present situation. Anyway, we'd better fix things and any pending issues right now, as the tense aspects of the days ahead may be less heavy if we soften the ground beforehand: the upcoming parallel Mars / Uranus and the square from Mercury and Juno to Pluto... Octubre 20/21: Vesta, el Sol y la Nebulosa de la Mariposa (M2-9) indican un buen momento para lograr objetividad, concentración y ecuanimidad, mientras Mercurio, Juno y el cúmulo estelar M5 se esfuerzan por superar problemas de comunicación y puntos de vista convencionales

     Un potente triple paralelo entre el Sol, Vesta y la Nebulosa de la Mariposa (M-2-9) indica un día con una atmósfera ideal para concentrar la mente y lograr equilibrarla. La combinación Sol/Vesta representa sin duda un elemento de concentración, mientras que la Nebulosa de la Mariposa, con sus "chorros gemelos" simétricos, representa objetividad, equilibrio. La Mariposa se encuentra en la constelación de Ofiuco, y es una estrella agonizante, que expele su masa hacia el espacio exterior en la última etapa de su vida, por medio de dos chorros en su polo norte y su polo sur.

     Aunque muchas estrellas terminan su vida de esta manera, a la Nebulosa de la Mariposa la vemos desde la Tierra desde su Ecuador, pudiendo apreciar sus chorros de manera simétrica. Esta simetría tiene un significado, y se refiere al equilibrio, a ver los dos extremos de una situación, a encontrar un punto medio de objetividad.  La tendencia de hoy, que incluye el paralelo Sol/Vesta/Mariposa se puede expresar de varias maneras, entre las cuales pueden estar la meditación, la concentración en el trabajo cotidiano, la reflexión mental, la investigación. La claridad mental resultante del equilibrio puede tener excelentes resultados en nuestras actividades y darnos paz interna.

     Lo más importante es calmar la mente, siempre ávida de estímulo, de modo que pueda manifestarse por medio de tranquilidad y ecuanimidad. En su manifestación más elevada, esta tendencia implica el análisis de los propios prejuicios y cuestionarse a sí mismo. No hay que dar por hecho que uno tiene la razón de manera absoluta: las circunstancias nos pueden dar una lección de humildad si somos arrogantes con nuestras convicciones. Por otro lado, esto puede resultar decepcionante para quienes buscan o necesitan una gran motivación y toman partido hacia una causa, justa o no. Si se busca la radicalidad y la confrontación, es mejor buscar otro día con tendencias más estridentes... La claridad y la serenidad en el cerebro serán más efectivas que una intervención directa y prejuiciada.

     Vesta se encuentra también en conjunción al Nodo Sur Lunar, en oposición a la galaxia M84, que se encuentra en la constelación de Virgo. M84 se caracteriza, entre otras cosas, por su fuerte emisión de radio, que implica una gran necesidad de comunicación. Vesta y el Nodo Sur Lunar están en oposición a M84, lo que sugiere la necesidad de encontrar tranquilidad, concentrándose en uno mismo, cerrándose a la comunicación.

     Si bien esta tendencia puede implicar resistencias a hablar, a opinar, a expresar, a mandar información, es en realidad un buen contrapeso a otra tendencia que estimula mucho el diálogo. Se trata de Juno en paralelo a Mercurio, lo que da como resultado una necesidad de pláticas íntimas, el intercambio de información confidencial, y compartir con gente cercana. Sin embargo, puede haber  inconsistencias , ya que Mercurio y Juno están en contraparalelo a M5, un cúmulo estelar con muchas estrellas variables, indicando fallos en la comunicación. Si hay una verdadera empatía, éstos pueden ser sobrepasados con algo de esfuerzo.

     La combinación de M5 con Juno y Mercurio en sí revela la necesidad de compensar dificultades de comunicación, pero el esfuerzo puesto en ello puede hacer que algunas personas opten por la actitud de Vesta: evitar el diálogo. El contraparalelo de Mercurio/Juno con M5 revela también la necesidad de superar puntos de vista convencionales, ya que M5 es un cúmulo muy antiguo: representa el pasado, las tradiciones, puntos de vista convencionales, prejuicios. la comunicación en ese caso puede servir para superar la rigidez mental y compensarla con un buen diálogo esclarecedor...

    Ya sea esforzándose para tener un buen intercambio con otros, o encerrándose para poder concentrarse mejor, o tomando ambas opciones según el contexto, el tema es una comunicación intensa, a veces complicada, y cada quien optará por el extremo que mejor le convenga a su situación presente. Como sea, será mejor arreglar las cosas ahora, pues los aspectos tensos de los días que vienen pueden ser menos pesados si suavizamos el terreno antes: el paralelo Marte/Urano y la cuadratura de Mercurio/Juno a Plutón... August 26/27: Juno, Saturn and the Tarantula Nebula ask for the definition of boundaries and goals to improve commitment in relationships. Venus, Uranus and star cluster M3 help to overcome insecurities, among other trends. Find about the astrological trends today and choose your frequency!

August 26/27: The week begins with several important trends, and you probably won't have time to experience them all. We can connect with any of them unconsciously, but the ideal is to choose which one is best for us to suit our needs. Here are the main trends at the start of the week, just select those that seem most appropriate for you, or identify which one is manifesting spontaneously...

     Juno in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, in square to Saturn. The asteroid of partnerships is at 90° from Saturn, indicating a moment of tension or limitation in close relationships. It is possible that some relationships will enter a frustrating mood. However, it is an excellent moment to define, renew or build commitments, and to set limits. Many relationships have no limits, and that most likely implies an invasion of the individuality of each member. Or perhaps it is necessary to define common goals, to restore and redefine the meaning of commitment, to discern what corresponds to the couple or the team and what corresponds to each individual person. This is one of the best times of the year to do that.

     Juno is in ecliptic conjunction to the Tarantula Nebula, a giant star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. This indicates that the demands of close  relationships in general (partner or friendship, relationships, work, family, etc..), may be excessive. The Tarantula Nebula is excessively large, hence representing big expectations, but they have to be worked out to be materialized, in this case, in pairs or in teams. For this to happen, it is necessary to define common objectives and set reasonable goals. In this case, the limitation is positive, as it relates to reorganize life together, whether in marriage or other close relationship, and this can lead to a very productive and connected cooperation. Saturn in contra parallel to M95 confirms this trend, since M95 is a fertile galaxy with an enhanced star production, but this requires organization. It's worth sitting for talking about common goals and give them due importance. And if the relationship is in crisis, now is the time to confront and find solutions.

     Venus is conjunct star cluster M3, and in opposition to Uranus. This represents a possible solution to feelings of insecurity, incompatibility or instability in relationships. M3 is a cluster with many variable stars, and also many stars that have collided with each other. But M3 is not a body that can be ignored, because of its size: it is one of the biggest star clusters seen from Earth, so great that it can even be seen with the naked eye in good conditions, in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is therefore inevitable to confront the insecurities caused by some relationships. But now we must follow a different strategy.

     Urans has been in opposition to M3 for several months, so that the most common reaction to insecurity or incompatibility was separation, taking a distance. But the transit of Venus today allows us to approach  with harmony, albeit briefly, to people or situations that generate insecurity or that have shown a lack of compatibility in the past. Perhaps the differences and the reasons of insecurity will appear in a more realistic and less threatening way. This will ease up situations and will allow us to do something constructive in circumstances and company we wouldn't expect.

     Venus is also quincunx (150 °) to Chiron, which is contra parallel to star cluster M5. The M5/Chiron mix indicates chronic circulation or respiratory problems, because cluster M5 is a very old one: its age is 13 billion years. Hence its association with chronic diseases, but thanks to the transit of Venus, there may be a relief, a visible improvement, or, even better, a total recovery. Hence, therapies that seek  harmonization to balance metabolic deficiencies can be highly effective. Psychologically, this combination is referred to heal the psychological effects of insecurity or neglect. But it also works great for studying or doing research in matters of the remote past: archeology, history, ancient cultures...

     The Sun makes its annual conjunction with the Vela supernova, but this time in opposition to Neptune. This indicates a moment of inspiration, that can match transcendent visions, unbridled imagination, as well as a penetrating and revealing approach to our daily lives. The Vela supernova, just as others of its kind, represent the ability to penetrate beyond the visible reality, due to its high X-ray emission. However, we must not forget that it is a stellar explosion, so that when you are into this introspection, the normal, everyday vision of reality and time is altered. And yes, mixed with the Neptunian effect, this trend can produce altered states of consciousness, without any artificial stimulus.

      Not everyone will be able to connect with this trend, but those who do will experience the great power of inspiration and motivation, reaching profound and transcendent levels through visualization, meditation, art, mysticism, scientific research or simply through important insights. Reality is not always what we see with our eyes and touch with our hands. To know that there is something more, and that we can discover it, is one of the motivations that have always pushed humanity forwards. Those who are interested can now experience this inspiring trend in all its glory. But don't get lost on your trip! Don't forget your ticket back to everyday life, this lasts only about 48 hours...

     Mercury is at 45° from Pallas, which is in parallel to M42, the Great Nebula in Orion. This certainly speaks of an ideal time to make repairs, organizing and structuring projects future plans. The Great Orion Nebula is one of the most important areas of star formation in our galaxy, and hence the idea of ​​fertility, a large number of possibilities available. Although this trend is less impressive than the others, do not let it pass with indifference! This is particularly true if you have pending work or repairs to do. The results can be excellent... Agosto 26/27: Juno, Saturno y la Nebulosa de la Tarántula exigen definir límites y objetivos para mejorar el compromiso en las relaciones. Venus, Urano y el cúmulo estelar M3 ayudan a superar inseguridades, entre otras tendencias. ¡Entérense de cómo empieza la semana y escojan con cual frecuencia conectarse!

Agosto 26/27: La semana comienza con varias tendencias importantes, y es probable que no haya tiempo de experimentarlas todas. Podemos conectarnos inconscientemente con alguna de ellas, pero lo ideal es poder escoger cuál es la que nos conviene más para desarrollarnos. A continuación vienen las principales tendencias, seleccionen las que les parezcan más adecuadas, o identifiquen la que se está manifestando espontáneamente:

     Juno en conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa de la Tarántula, en cuadratura a Saturno. El asteroide de las relaciones y la pareja hace una relación de 90° a Saturno, indicando un momento de cierta tensión o limitación en las relaciones cercanas. Es posible que algunas relaciones entren en una dinámica frustrante. Sin embargo, es un excelente momento para definir, reiterar o construir compromisos, y para poner límites. Muchas relaciones carecen de límites establecidos, y eso representa una invasión a la individualidad de cada persona, o quizás se necesiten definir las metas en común. En ocasiones, es preciso reestablecer y redefinir el sentido del compromiso, para discernir qué corresponde la pareja o al equipo y qué corresponde a cada persona individual: éste es uno de los mejores momentos del año para ello.

     Juno se encuentra en conjunción eclíptica a la Nebulosa de la Tarántula, una gigantesca región de creación de estrellas en la Gran Nube de Magallanes, una galaxia satélite de la Vía Láctea. Esto indica que las demandas de la pareja o de las relaciones de amistad, trabajo, familiar, etc., pueden ser excesivas. La Nebulosa de la Tarántula es exageradamente grande, de ahí que represente expectativas grandes, pero que tienen que trabajarse para ser materializadas, en este caso, en pareja o en equipo. Para que puedan realizarse, es necesario definir objetivos comunes y ponerse metas razonables. En este caso, la limitación es positiva, ya que se refiere a reorganizar la vida en pareja, ya sea en el matrimonio o en otro tipo de relación cercana, y esto puede dar lugar a un equipo muy productivo y unido. Saturno en contraparalelo a M95 confirma esta tendencia, ya que M95 es una galaxia fértil en producción de estrellas, pero esto requiere organización. Vale pues la pena sentarse a hablar de los objetivos comunes y darles la importancia debida. Y si la relación entra en crisis, hoy es el momento de confrontarla y solucionarla.          

     Venus está en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M3, y en oposición a Urano. Esto representa la posibilidad de solucionar sentimientos de inseguridad, incompatibilidades o tendencias a la inestabilidad en las relaciones. M3 es un cúmulo con muchas estrellas variables, y que han chocado unas con otras. Pero M3 no es un cúmulo que se pueda ignorar, debido a su gran tamaño: es uno de los cúmulos estelares más grandes visto desde la Tierra, tan grande que incluso puede verse a simple vista en buenas condiciones, en la constelación de Canes Venatici. No queda pues más que confrontar las inseguridades que nos producen algunas relaciones. Pero ahora la estrategia es distinta.

     Urano ha estado en oposición a M3 durante varios meses, por lo que la reacción a la inseguridad o a la incompatibilidad ha sido el distanciamiento. Pero el tránsito de Venus hoy nos permite acercarnos y abordar con armonía, aunque sea brevemente, a personas o situaciones que nos crean inseguridad o con la cuales no hemos experimentado compatibilidad. Quizás las diferencias y los motivos de inseguridad aparezcan en una perspectiva más realista y menos amenazadora. Esto permitirá relajar un poco las situaciones y permitirá hacer algo constructivo.

     Venus también se encuentra en quincuncio (150°) a Quirón, que está en contraparalelo al cúmulo estelar M5. La mezcla M5/Quirón indica problemas crónicos de circulación o respiratorios, pues M5 es un cúmulo muy antiguo: su edad es de 13 billones de años. De ahí su asociación con enfermedades crónicas, que gracias al tránsito de Venus pueden tener un alivio o una decisiva orientación hacia una mejora o recuperación. De ahí que las terapias que busquen una armonización y compensen deficiencias metabólicas puedan ser de gran efectividad. Psicológicamente, esta combinación se refiere a sanar efectos psicológicos de la inseguridad o el descuido, y también funciona muy bien para estudiar o investigar en asuntos del pasado remoto: arqueología, historia, culturas antiguas.

     El Sol hace su conjunción anual a la supernova de Vela, pero esta vez en oposición a Neptuno. Esto indica un momento de gran inspiración, que puede coincidir con visiones trascendentes, una imaginación desbordada, un enfoque penetrante y revelador de nuestra vida cotidiana. La supernova de Vela, así como otras de su género, tiene como característica astrológica la capacidad de penetrar más allá de la realidad visible, debido a su alta emisión de rayos X. Sin embargo, no hay que olvidar que se trata de una explosión estelar, de modo que al realizar esta introspección, la visión normal y cotidiana de la realidad se vea alterada. Y sí, mezclada con el efecto neptuniano, puede producir estados alterados de conciencia, sin necesidad de estímulos artificiales.

      No todas las personas se conectarán con esta tendencia, pero los que lo hagan pueden sentir el gran poder inspirador y motivador de una percepción profunda y trascendente a través de la visualización, la meditación, el arte, el misticismo, la investigación científica o simplemente a través de importantes tomas de conciencia. La realidad no es siempre lo que vemos con nuestros ojos y tocamos con nuestras manos, y el saber que hay más, y que lo podemos descubrir, es una de las motivaciones que han hecho avanzar a la humanidad desde siempre. Quienes lo deseen, hoy pueden experimentarla en todo su esplendor, pero, ¡no se pierdan en su viaje! No olviden su boleto de regreso a la vida cotidiana, esto dura cerca de 48 horas solamente...

     Mercurio se sitúa a 45° de Palas, y Palas está en paralelo a M42, la Gran Nebulosa de Orión. Esto sin duda habla de un momento ideal para hacer reparaciones, organizar proyectos y estructurar planes a futuro. La Gran Nebulosa de Orión es una de las zonas más importantes de formación estelar de nuestra galaxia, y de ahí la idea de fertilidad, de un gran número de posibilidades. Aunque esta tendencia sea menos impresionante que las anteriores, ¡no la desperdicien! Sobre todo si tienen trabajo rezagado o reparaciones que hacer. Los resultados pueden ser excelentes... May 2/3: Pallas, Uranus and M5 correct past behavior to have a better future, while Mercury, Jupiter and star cluster M79 take us beyond our boundaries... But there are many other astrological trends, get to know them so you can choose the ones to connect with!

May 2/3: The astrological trends in the second half of the week are numerous and touch various topics. Get to know them to decide to which one you wish to connect your experience or to explain yourself what you have been experiencing:

     Pallas is contra paralel to Uranus, conjunct the South Node Moon and opposed to globular cluster M5. Pallas is an asteroid whose transit is of great help in most cases, as it symbolizes the ability to put some order or to correct chaotic or problematic  situations. In this case, Pallas' conjunction with the Lunar South Node reveals that the issues fixed come from the past, and Uranus represents an alteration of the circumstances leading to failures or problems. The cause behind many of them may be insecurity as Pallas is opposed to M5, a globular cluster with many variable stars, whose abundance suggests weaknesses and inconsistencies. So, to continue moving forward in our lives, we need to alter and correct past patterns of insecurity. The effort invested in this will bring good consequences because it will avoid repeating inappropriate formulas in the new projects we are undertaking.

      Mercury makes a conjunction to galaxy M33, and is at 45° from Jupiter. This represents an opportunity to generate great ideas and to integrate them in different contexts, and also to approach reality in a different way. M33, as we have mentioned in the past in the Galactic Guide, has an immense stellar generation region, which implies a very large creative potential. The passage of Mercury by M33 can only be a great creative stimulus for the mind, that will be able to produce great plans and insights.

     However, the best thing would be to direct that mental creativity towards goals that  lie farther than those that normally keep us busy. Mercury is in semi-square (45 °) to Jupiter, the planet that by its enormous size and magnetic field represents to transcend borders. What's more, Jupiter is conjunct M79, a star cluster born in another galaxy and currently in the process of integrating to the system of the Milky Way. Therefore, it is a good time to apply our ideas in contexts outside our everyday reality, setting targets that allow us to go further than normal, as well as integrating ideas and helpful suggestions. We must be open to receive something different and new, sometimes from the least expected people or places! This combination is also excellent for travel, whether mental or physical, for studies and research, for exports and trade, to get new customers and to communicate with people far away or with whom contact has been lost.

    On 3/4 May, Mercury is in parallel to the galaxy M59 and contra parallel to Saturn. This combination suggests the need to consider and accept different points of view. However, unlike the previous trend, this astrological mix refers to prevent an abuse of power, which would consist in trying to impose one's ideas at all costs. M59 is a giant galaxy, making it very dominant in nature. But Saturn has responsibility for ensuring the necessary limits, to be considered and observed at all times this weekend. Containment, silence, discretion will be successful, but a domineering attitude will cause rejection. However, a strong, yet structured expression will be most convincing and inspiring: simultaneously, Mercury makes a sextile to idealistic Neptune ...

     The Sun is at 60° from Chiron, a combination that can be used to give some strength to weak aspects of our personality and our lives. Chiron, among other things, represents poorly socially integrated aspects of the psyche, and is in parallel to star cluster M12, symbolizing great independence. Chiron is happy in the territory of M12, since there is no strong control on his personality: M12 is a disperse cluster, which exerts very little gravitational influence on the stars that compose it. But then again, this implies that some of the talents of Chiron (and he has many) are underdeveloped by a lack of pressure and discipline.

     This is where the Sun, combined with the fantastic and productive spiral galaxy M100, provides help, prompting and encouraging creativity to advance and materialize projects. And this is because M100 has one of the most spectacular and beautiful designs of the known universe: it is hard not to be motivated in front of her breathtaking beautiful visual presence. This combination is also excellent to accelerate the healing of physical diseases or mental states that have not been responding adequately in recent days. Therefore, the application of therapies is favorable in general.

     Mars is in sextile (60°) to Ceres, and opposed to Omega Centauri. This trend highlights the need to assert oneself, even going against the general flow (symbolized by Omega Centauri, the largest cluster in our galaxy). For those who are connected with this frequency or become involved in it, it is important to keep your own direction regardless of what other people think. In fact, common sense and generality opposing your convictions is an indicator that you are following the right path. In this way, you may direct  energies into productive activities without rigid or obsolete restrictions that block their development. This trend is diametrically opposed to that of Mercury/M59, which was mentioned above and refers rather to express ideas with a dominant attitude. This means only to search for the necessary freedom to produce better. Politically, it has to do with the necessary restrictions to the production of transgenic corn, related to the Mars/Saturn opposition, but momentarily, Mars will press hard for that to be done.

Mayo 2/3: Palas, Urano y M5 corrigen conductas del pasado para tener un mejor futuro, mientras Mercurio, Júpiter y el cúmulo estelar M79 nos llevan a rebasar límites... Pero hay muchas otras tendencias astrológicas, ¡conózcanlas para saber a cuál conectarse!

Mayo 2/3: Las tendencias astrológicas en la segunda parte de la semana son numerosas y tocan diferentes temas. Conózcanlas para decidir a cuál conectar su experiencia o para explicarse qué es lo que han estado experimentando:

     Palas está en contraparalelo a Urano, en conjunción al Nodo Sur Lunar, en oposición al cúmulo globular M5. Palas es un asteroide cuyo tránsito suele ser de gran ayuda, ya que simboliza la habilidad de ordenar o corregir situaciones caóticas o problemáticas. En este caso, la conjunción con el Nodo Sur Lunar revela que los asuntos que Palas compone provienen del pasado, y Urano representa una alteración de las circunstancias que produjeron fallos o problemas. La causa detrás de muchos de ellos puede ser la inseguridad, pues Palas se opone a M5, un cúmulo globular cuya abundancia de estrellas variables hace pensar en debilidades e inconsistencias. Así, para continuar avanzando en nuestras vidas, es preciso cambiar patrones de inseguridad del pasado, alterarlos y corregirlos. El esfuerzo invertido en esto traerá excelentes consecuencias, pues evitará el repetir fórmulas inadecuadas en lo nuevo que estemos emprendiendo.

      Mercurio hace una conjunción a la galaxia M33, y está a 45° de Júpiter. Esto representa la oportunidad de generar ideas e integrarlas en diferentes contextos, y también para enfocar la realidad de una manera diferente. M33, como lo hemos mencionado en otras ocasiones en la Guía Galáctica, tiene una inmensa región de generación estelar, lo que implica un potencial creativo muy grande. El paso de Mercurio por M33 no puede sino representar un gran estímulo creativo para la mente, que será capaz de producir grandes planes y tomas de conciencia.

     Sin embargo, lo mejor sería dirigir dicha creatividad mental hacia objetivos más lejanos de los que normalmente nos mantienen ocupados. Mercurio está en semicuadratura (a 45°) de Júpiter, el planeta que, por su tamaño y enorme campo magnético significa el trascender fronteras. Por si fuera poco, Júpiter está en conjunción a M79, un cúmulo estelar nacido en otra galaxia e integrándose al sistema de la Vía Láctea. Por ello, es bueno aplicar nuestras ideas en contextos ajenos a nuestra realidad cotidiana, poniendo objetivos que nos permitan llegar más lejos de lo normal e integrando ideas y sugerencias útiles. ¡Hay que estar abiertos a recibir algo diferente y nuevo, a veces de las personas menos esperadas! Esta combinación también es excelente para los viajes, mentales o físicos, para los estudios e investigaciones, las exportaciones y el comercio, para conseguir nuevos clientes y para la comunicación con personas lejanas o con las que se ha perdido el contacto.

    Los días 3/4 de Mayo, Mercurio está en paralelo a la galaxia M59 y en contraparalelo a Saturno. Esta combinación sugiere la necesidad de considerar y aceptar diferentes puntos de vista. Sin embargo, a diferencia de la tendencia anterior, ésta mezcla astrológica se refiere a evitar el abuso de poder, que consistiría en tratar de imponer lo que uno piensa a toda costa. M59 es una galaxia gigante, lo cual la hace muy dominante por naturaleza. Pero Saturno se encargará de poner los límites necesarios, mismos que hay que considerar y observar en todo momento. En la contención, en el silencio, en la discreción consistirá el éxito, pues al imponerse lo que se logrará es el rechazo. Sin embargo, un pensamiento fuerte y a la vez estructurado y discreto será de lo más convincente e inspirador: Mercurio hace simultáneamente un sextil al idealista Neptuno...

     El Sol se encuentra a 60° de Quirón, combinación que puede servir para darle fuerza a aspectos flojos de nuestra personalidad y de nuestras vidas. Quirón, entre otras cosas, representa aspectos de la psique poco integrados socialmente, y se encuentra en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M12, que simboliza una gran independencia. Quirón se encuentra feliz en el territorio de M12, ya que no existe un control fuerte sobre su manera de ser: M12 es un cúmulo disperso, que ejerce muy poca influencia gravitatoria sobre las estrellas que lo componen. Pero a la vez, esto implica que varios de los talentos de Quirón (y tiene muchos) no se desarrollen por falta de presión y de disciplina.

     Aquí es donde el Sol, aunado a la fantástica y productiva galaxia espiral M100, proporciona su ayuda, incitando a la creatividad y motivando a concretar los proyectos. Y es que M100 posee uno de los diseños más espectaculares y bellos del universo conocido: es difícil no quedar motivado ante su hermosa presencia visual. Esta combinación es excelente también para acelerar la curación de enfermedades o estados anímicos que no han estado respondiendo adecuadamente en los últimos días. Se favorece pues la aplicación de terapias en general.

     Marte está en sextil a Ceres, en oposición a Omega Centauri. Esta tendencia revela la necesidad de autoafirmarse, incluso llevando la contra a lo que piensa la mayoría (simbolizada por Omega Centauri, el cúmulo más grande de la galaxia). Para quienes se conecten con esta frecuencia o se vean involucrados en ella, es importante mantener la propia dirección sin hacer caso de lo que piensen otros. De hecho, el que el sentido común y la generalidad se opongan a las propias convicciones es un indicador de que uno sigue el buen camino. De este modo, se podrán dirigir las energías hacia actividades productivas, sin restricciones obsoletas o rígidas que impidan su desarrollo. Esta tendencia es diametralmente opuesta a la de Mercurio/M59 mencionada más arriba, que se refiere más bien a expresar ideas de manera impositiva; ésta implica únicamente el buscar libertad para producir mejor. Políticamente, tiene que ver con las restricciones necesarias a la producción de maíz transgénico, relacionadas con la oposición Marte/Saturno, pero momentáneamente, Marte presionará para que se realicen.

September 15/16: Venus in contra parallel to Mars and star cluster M18. This combination can bring to light hidden or unconscious aspects in relationships, which should be assimilated, discussed, understood. While it may be embarrassing or uncomfortable to confront situations that are difficult to solve, the effort to clear things up a bit can lighten the atmosphere and release burdens that hinder a positive exchange. M18 is a cluster with very few stars and is covered with haze, suggesting hidden situations, which also favors covert or secret relationships, and seduction.

     Meanwhile, the planet of communication, Mercury, is in parallel to Uranus and star cluster M5, indicating on one hand a tendency to express ideas in a different, original and creative way. This will help to renovate structures and old procedures. Literally, it is about renewing traditions, habits, customs and long-established prejudices. M5 is a very old star cluster, accounting for the past or deeply-rooted habits and customs. M5 is also very large, so it is possibe that this renewal may manifest in an impositve and abrupt manner, though somewhat insecure and hesitant at the same time.

     But Mercury, in ecliptic conjunction to galaxy M85, indicates a new creative impulse for stagnant situations: M85 has a young stellar population absorbed through swallowing a neighboring galaxy. This symbolizes a revitalizing exchange in communication and relations, which can help to resume or give new energy to stagnant projects, thanks to the contribution of other people's ideas. Moreover, Mercury also makes during the day a square to Ceres, a semisextile to Saturn, and a sextile to the Moon's North Node, which favors formal social engagements and complying with everyday obligations and people.

Septiembre 15/16: Venus, Marte y el cúmulo estelar M18 sacan a la luz aspectos ocultos e inconscientes en las relaciones; Mercurio, Urano, el cúmulo globular M5 y la galaxia M85 indican una renovación de las costumbres, hábitos y tradiciones

Septiembre 15/16: Venus en contraparalelo a Marte y al cúmulo estelar M18. Esta combinación puede sacar a la luz aspectos ocultos o poco conscientes en las relaciones, mismos que conviene asimilar, discutir, comprender. Si bien puede resultar incómodo confrontar situaciones embarazosas o difíciles de resolver, el esfuerzo de aclarar las cosas puede aligerar la atmósfera y soltar lastres que dificultan un intercambio positivo. M18 es un cúmulo con pocas estrellas y cubierto de nebulosidad, lo que sugiere las situaciones ocultas, lo que también se presta a relaciones encubiertas o secretas, y a la seducción.

     Por otro lado, el planeta de la comunicación, Mercurio, está en paralelo a Urano y al cúmulo estelar M5, lo que indica por un lado una tendencia a manifestar ideas de una forma diferente, original y creativa, lo que puede ayudar a renovar estructuras y procedimientos antiguos. Literalmente, se trata de renovar tradiciones, hábitos, costumbres y prejuicios establecidos desde hace tiempo. M5 es un cúmulo estelar muy antiguo, representando pues el pasado y costumbres o hábitos arraigados. M5 es también muy grande, por lo que es posible que esta renovación de tradiciones se manifieste de manera impositiva y brusca, aunque un tanto insegura y vacilante.

     Pero Mercurio, al hacer conjunción eclíptica a la galaxia M85, indica un nuevo impulso creativo para situaciones estancadas: M85 tiene una población estelar joven que absorbió al tragarse a una galaxia vecina. Esto simboliza un intercambio revitalizador en la comunicación: es posible retomar relaciones o darle nueva fuerza a los proyectos gracias a la aportación de ideas de otras personas. Por otro lado, Mercurio también hace durante el día una cuadratura a Ceres, un semisextil a Saturno, un sextil al Nodo Norte Lunar, lo que favorece los compromisos sociales formales también e induce a cumplir las obligaciones cotidianas y con la gente.

August 8/9: Mercury ends its retrograde period conjunct open cluster M46, stimulating expression and creativity... Uranus, Pallas and globular cluster M5 indicate alterations in plans and a good maintenance of daily life, while the Sun and galaxy M74 emphasize art, aesthetics and drastic changes

August 8/9: Mercury makes its direct station conjunct star cluster M46, in parallel to Vesta. Mercury retrograde finally ends and the planet of communication makes its direct station conjunct star cluster M46. This open cluster, like others in the same area of the sky, has an abundance of A-type stars, which strongly stimulate expression. Further, these stars are about 100 times more luminous than our Sun, suggesting astrologically a special intensity in their manifestation. Therefore, this mercurial station represents an opportunity to express ideas, feelings and creative impulses, but with a tendency to exaggerate or magnify things.

     That this is positive or unfavorable depends on the context in which things are expressed. M46 supports artistic creativity, expression of hidden or long suppressed emotions and feelings, social events, communication in general and political demonstrations, but it may be quite strident in an everyday context or when a certain neutrality or objectivity is needed. It is advisable to avoid drama, to seek fairness and equanimity in relationships, focusing on creating and generating productivity at all levels. This mercurial station can be particularly favorable for finance, as M46 is a very rich cluster: it has over 500 stars, and this abundance can be materialized in excellent investments, purchases, exchanges and business. This is especially true if they were concceived around the last week of June and the first of July 2012. So...let's be productive!

     Uranus is in parallel with Pallas and star cluster M5, a combination that indicates changes in plans and strategies. Do not be surprised if things don't go as planned, since cluster M5 is quite unstable, with many variable stars.      The Sun is parallel to spiral galaxy M74. This combination, which occurs twice a year, can be very harmonious and very explosive at the same time. M74, with its great design and magnificent beauty, can  stimulate strongly aesthetic sense, art, order, structure, which can inspire many to inject a healthy dose of beauty to their surroundings. There is enough strength and encouragement to rearrange things in a creative and aesthetic environment at home or in the workplace... It is definitely a good day for artists, taking into account Mercury's station with M46, which occurs simultaneously and with a similar creative and aesthetic trend. However, this galaxy contains a hypernova, a special kind of supernova or stellar explosion which is extremely powerful, indicating a tendency to surprising, drastic change, perhaps exaggerated. It is therefore necessary to be very careful not to recklessly cause explosive situations by lack of awareness. However, if you already have planned important changes in advance, this is a very good time to implement them without any problems. Go for them and take care!

Agosto 8/9: Mercurio hace su estación directa en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M46, en paralelo a Vesta. La retrogradación de Mercurio llega a su fin y el planeta de la comunicación hace su estación directa en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M46. Este cúmulo abierto, al igual que otros en la misma zona del cielo, tiene una gran abundancia de estrellas de tipo A, que estimulan fuertemente la expresión. Más aún tomando en cuenta que estas estrellas son cerca de 100 veces más luminosas que nuestro Sol, lo que indica a nivel astrológico una intensidad especial en la manifestación. Por ello, esta estación mercuriana representa una oportunidad de expresar ideas, sentimientos e impulsos creativos, pero con una tendencia a exagerar o a amplificar las cosas.

     Que esto sea positivo o desfavorable depende del contexto en el cual se expresen las cosas. M46 favorece la creatividad artística, la expresión de emociones y sentimientos largamente reprimidos u ocultos, los eventos sociales, la comunicación en general y las manifestaciones políticas, pero puede ser demasiado estridente en un contexto cotidiano o cuando se requiere cierta neutralidad u objetividad. Es conveniente evitar el dramatismo, buscar la ecuanimidad en las relaciones y concentrarse en crear y generar productividad a todos los niveles. Esta estación mercuriana puede resultar especialmente favorable para las finanzas, pues M46 es un cúmulo muy rico en estrellas: posee más de 500, y esta abundancia puede quedar plasmada en excelentes inversiones, compras, intercambios y negocios, sobre todo si ya se habían concebido alrededor de la última semana de Junio y la primera de Julio 2012. Así que...¡a producir!

     Urano se encuentra en paralelo a Palas y al cúmulo estelar M5, lo que indica cambios de planes y estrategias. No se sorprendan si las cosas no salen como se tenía planeado, pues M5 es un cúmulo inestable, con muchas estrellas variables. Sin embargo, los cambios pueden resultar favorables; todo es cuestión de adaptarse a lo que surja en el momento con un poco de flexibilidad. Urano implica renovación, y M5 es un cúmulo muy antiguo, que simboliza situaciones del pasado, decadentes o con fallos causados por el tiempo, la negligencia o el desgaste. Por lo tanto, es un buen momento para poner al día nuestra rutina y darle un mantenimiento adecuado a nuestro entorno, en casa, en el trabajo, o en nosotros mismos.

     El Sol está en paralelo a la galaxia espiral M74. Esta combinación, que se da en dos ocasiones al año, puede ser muy armónica o muy explosiva. M74, con su diseño grandioso y de enorme belleza, puede estimular mucho la estética, el arte, el orden, la estructura, lo cual puede inspirar a muchos para inyectar una buena dosis de belleza a su entorno o a su trabajo. Existe la fuerza y el estímulo adecuados para reordenar de manera creativa y estética el entorno en casa o en el lugar de trabajo... Definitivamente, es una buena jornada para los artistas, tomando en cuenta la estación mercuriana con M46, que se da simultáneamente con la misma tendencia creativa y estética. Sin embargo, esta galaxia contiene una hipernova, una clase especial de supernova o explosión estelar extremadamente potente que indica una tendencia a cambios drásticos y sorpresivos, quizá exagerados.  Es pues necesario tener mucho cuidado de no provocar situaciones explosivas por imprudencia o falta de conciencia. En cambio, si ya se tienen planeados cambios con anterioridad, es un muy buen momento para ponerlos en práctica sin problemas. ¡Vayan pues con cuidado!

First Quarter-occurs at 3° 46' of the zodiacal sign of Scorpio, on July 26, 2012 at 8 h 56 am UT - The First Quarter is conjunct galaxy M83, also known as the Southern Pinwheel and is one of the galaxies with the highest rate of stellar production known. This implies a time (one week) of great creativity, in which new ideas, new projects arise, and there is a tendency to restructure, to reassess, to reorganize. Avoid an excessive load of responsibilities by getting involved in too many activities.


Full Moon - it happens at 10° 15' of the zodiacal sign Aquarius, on August 2, 2012 at 3h27 AM UT - This Full Moon occurs in parallel to star cluster M107. This cluster is quite disperse and is obscured by interstellar dust in several parts. This is a time when there is a clear awareness of the problems caused by dispersion, negligence or lack of resources or attention.  Some hidden problems will come to light, showing also the path for overcoming obstacles, as the problems come with solutions as well. It is a moment of communion with people that broaden our horizon, giving us hope. This Full Moon favors the union of the masses as well, so it is a week of large-scale ideological communion...

Last Quarter - It occurs at 17°34 'of the zodiacal sign of Taurus on August 9, 2012 at 6h54 pm UT - The Last Quarter is in opposition to globular cluster M5, a large, ancient cluster with many variable stars which suggests instability and prejudices ...  Since the Last Quarter implies a break with the past, it is a time of renewal of ideas and viewpoints that no longer work. It is a week to refresh opinionated concepts, to do updates, to implement changes in strategies. On the other hand, the tendency to be rejected by this renewing attitude is great, but the important thing is to follow your own path with confidence, instead of stagnating in your too familiar routine.

New Moon - It happens at 25° 08' of the zodiacal sign of Leo, on August 17, 2012 at 3h54 PM UT. The start of the Lunar cycle is in opposition to M2, a cluster with an orbit which is highly inclined to the galactic equator, representing an individual way, an original path. It is a moment of creativity and harmonious plans, good to design and carry out strategies with different people. It is recommended to work and act in groups. It also represents an increased productivity, due to the integration of people and aspects formerly not taken into account. It is favorable to integrate original formulas and put them to work for the benefit of all.

     A sugerencia de algunos de los lectores de la Guía Galáctica, introducimos un calendario de las principales fases lunares, que son los momentos más cruciales durante el mes. Las tendencias indicadas en el momento en el que suceden son vigentes durante una semana, hasta la siguiente fase y representan la atmósfera general sobre la cual suceden otros eventos astrológicos indicados en la Galactic Guide. La Luna es el astro más cercano a nosotros y cuyo ciclo es más rápido, representando el flujo de nuestra vida cotidiana. Ahora, con este calendario, es posible ver las conexiones de nuestra vida cotidiana con los objetos de espacio profundo, como galaxias, nebulosas, cúmulos estelares, supernovas y otros. Fases Lunares Julio/Agosto 2012

Cuarto creciente: se da a los 3°46' del signo de Escorpio, el 26 julio 2012 a las 8 h56 am UT - El cuarto creciente sucede en conjunción a la galaxia M83, llamada también el Molino Austral y que es una de las galaxias con más producción estelar conocidas - Esto implica un momento (una semana) de gran creatividad,  en la que surgen nuevas ideas, nuevos proyectos, y hay  una tendencia a reestructurar, a revalorar, a reorganizar. Lo que hay que evitar es el exceso de responsabilidades si uno se involucra en demasiadas actividades.


Luna Llena - Sucede en los 10°15' del signo de Acuario, el 2 de Agosto 2012  a las 3h27 AM UT - Esta Luna Llena sucede en paralelo al cúmulo estelar M107. Este cúmulo es disperso y está oscurecido por polvo interestelar en varias partes. Esto representa un momento en el que surge una clara conciencia de los problemas causados por dispersión, por negligencia o por falta de recursos o atención.  Es posible que se revelen y hagan visibles algunos problemas ocultos, mostrando la vía de superación de obstáculos, ya que los problemas vienen con sus soluciones también. Es un momento de comunión, de unión con gente que nos amplía el panorama, y que nos aporta información. Esta Luna Llena favorece la unión de las masas también, por lo que es una semana de unión ideológica a gran escala...

Cuarto menguante - Sucede a los 17° 34' del signo zodiacal de Tauro el 9 de Agosto 2012 a las 6h54 p.m. UT - Este cuarto menguante hace una oposición al cúmulo globular M5, un cúmulo grande , antiguo, con muchas estrellas variables que hacen pensar en inestabilidad y prejuicios... - Ya que el cuarto menguante implica una ruptura con el pasado,  es un momento de renovación de ideas, de enfoques que ya no funcionan. Es una semana para romper prejuicios, realizar actualizaciones, implementar cambios de estrategias. Por otro lado, hay la tendencia a vivir rechazos por esta actitud renovadora, pero lo importante es seguir el propio camino con fuerza, para no estancarse en vías rutinarias o demasiado conocidas.

Luna nueva - Sucede a los 25°08' del signo zodiacal de Leo, el 17 agosto 2012  a las 3h54 PM UT. El inicio del ciclo Lunar está en oposición a M2, un cúmulo con una órbita muy inclinada al ecuador galáctico, lo que representa un camino individual, original. - Es un momento de creatividad,en el cual pueden surgir y realizarse  planes armónico. Se diseñan y llevan a cabo estrategias con diversas personas, es recomendable trabajar y actuar en grupo. También representa una productividad aumentada, gracias a la integración de gentes y aspectos dispersos o que no se tomaban en cuenta. Es favorable pues integrar las fórmulas originales y ponerlas a funcionar para el beneficio de todos

     Everyone is talking about this, even if it is not in astrological terms. This is normal: when two slow planets like Uranus and Pluto are located at a 90° angle from each other (in relation to the zodiac or ecliptic) significant events in the evolution of our civilization take place. Evolution? I'd rather say revolution, as both Uranus and Pluto are associated with profound changes in society when they interact in the heavens. Uranus in particular, discovered at the time of the French, American and industrial revolutions,  acquired astrologically the connotation of the time of its discovery. It is the indicator par excellence, in our solar system, of break-ups with existing structures, suddenly tearing the established social order and strengthening  innovative social currents at all levels. Investigations by the Voyager space missions have confirmed since mid-80's that Uranus has a rotation axis tilted in relation to the plane of its orbit, much more than that of the other planets. This indicates a tendency to aim at different objectives to those of the majority, symbolizing processes of rebellion, change, renewal, rupture.

    There is no evolution without revolution, so many times Uranus has been compared in its effect to the behavior of Prometheus in Greek mythology, a character who dares to break the rules of Olympus, providing the use of fire to mankind. And, obviously, he is punished. But once the crack appears in the wall, there's no turning back. The shell is broken and there is no way to repair it to return to the original state: there is no other option than moving forward. When Uranus starts or ends its retrograde periods (an apparent backward motion), it is said to be in a station or stationary, and important events occur in the world. Sometimes pushing the hard way, Uranus reminds us through its stations of the need to renew our routine and change direction. But this happens twice a year with all the planets in the solar system, included Uranus: retrogradations are not extraordinary events.


Uranus and Pluto resume and enhance the cultural revolution of the 1960's

     However, on July 14th, 2012, Uranus made its retrograde station forming a square or 90 degree relationship to Pluto, initiating a series of interactions that will last until 2015. Uranus and Pluto will be exactly square to each other on seven occasions between 2012 and 2015. The present Uranus station and interaction with Pluto marks the beginning of a process of deep and drastic changes at both the individual and social levels. Why? To understand this, we should note that these squares and their corresponding events do not occur in isolation, but as part of a cycle of 138 years that began in 1965/1966 with their conjunction, a time when there was a cultural and political revolution around the world. When these two planets reach their crescent phase, ie at an angle of 90° as now, it is natural that the trends observed at the start of the cycle will manifest again.

     But the square or crescent phase between two planets tends to intensify the paradigms expressed in the initial phase, even more so when the square is extended for a period of four years. The changes, for better or for worse, will be much more dramatic than those that happened at that time. It is therefore a process of global political, social and cultural revolution of great scope. In 2012, we are just at the startup. It is therefore very important to be aware what we are going through, and where we're heading to. To better understand this, it is useful to know the manifestations of Uranus and Pluto interactions over the past four decades, from the epoch of the conjunction to the current square. Astrological corelations in this period will allow us to see what intensifies now, what has changed and what remains from the original seed.



An essential paradigm of the 1966-2104 cycle: unity is strength

         The last conjunction, actually the beginning of the Uranus/Pluto cycle happened on June 30, 1966 in ecliptic conjunction to the galaxy group called Copeland's Septet, located in the constellation Leo. This is interesting because galaxy clusters symbolize the union of several countries or several sectors of society. The Copeland's Septet shows several interacting galaxies, which are probably merging into one, thus symbolizing joint resources. If the start represents the seeds of what will unfold along the entire cycle, then renewal throughout this entire Uranus/Pluto cycle is based on collective interaction. It is a fusion of different nationalities, idiosyncrasies, cultures, technologies and economies, that we now call globalization. At that time, the newly born revolutionary trend was a very impulsive one, as is any combination or cycle at its very start: consciousness always comes later.

     The present revolution thus actually began in the 1960's, and naturally, government structures were not ready for managing it: repression followed. But the crack in the system had already appeared, the reference points, the paradigms of the new phase had already been drawn: peace and love, freedom, communion, a free sexuality, pop culture, the important political role of young people in society and above all, the power of people united as a counterweight to the inflexibility of government systems. The current governance model was still rooted in the concept of an all-powerful central power, and a submissive, obedient and faithful people, which is not very far from the imperial system of many ancient cultures. In it, the emperor, king, dictator, ruler, president, and the structure surrounding him (not her,check) are representatives of an immutable cosmic order. To rebel against that order was tantamount to transgressing a divine mandate or breaking the laws of the universe, which obviously deserved punishment for, just like the ancient Greeks' hybris.


From nationalism to globalization, Copeland's Septet

     Of course, this pattern began to break up much earlier, revolutions have always existed, and since Uranus was discovered, the utopian paradigm was "liberty, equality, fraternity". The wars of independence in Latin America in the nineteenth century are an example of how the previous cycle of Uranus and Pluto, which began in 1850, redraw the benchmarks of society, from a colonialist political-religious structure towards a focus on regional autonomy and sovereignty: nationalism. By the way, the nationalist ideals correspond to the discovery of Neptune (subject of another article, of course), which anyway is involved simultaneously with the start of the former cycle Uranus/Pluto. That cycle ended in 1965 and since then the nationalistic ideals have proved ineffective, sometimes tragically, against the advance of global capitalism. The new revolution consists largely of a series of attempts to achieve the consolidation of a global network, symbolized by Copeland's Septet, still in its infancy in the 2010's.

     This network is threatened by capitalism itself, and in the coming years we will undoubtedly have to struggle to maintain its autonomy. It's like a new global nationalism supported mainly by social networks and the Internet, who grew slowly at the turn of the century, in the 90's and 2010's. In those years, which saw the unusual growth of the Internet and its accessibility, nor the providers of the service nor its consumers realized the extent of the social and political utility that now is an essential part of the change... The need for a change of paradigm undoubtedly had its origin in the cultural revolution of the 60's. But what happened to Uranus and Pluto in that half century? These planets did not have many strong interactions during those years, but their moments of contact, by its own symbolism, reveal a tendency to drastic change. Let's see:


Milestones of the first quarter of the 1966-2104 cycle

      In September 1975 the first big phase of the Uranus-Pluto cycle since 1966 took place: both planets were in contraparallel, a combination whose meaning refers to a balance. This astrological combination coincided with two attempts to assassinate then U.S. president Gerald Ford, and with large demonstrations in Spain against the agonizing Franco regime  (Franco actually died shortly thereafter), and other dramatic events worldwide. Is it clear that the combination of these planets is challenging the established power? And Gerald Ford was in many ways the antithesis of Franco ...

       The next significant step in the Uranus/Puto cycle happened, many years later, in a series of 3 parallels between the two planets in April, June and November 2002. Many events in this year clearly reflect the intensity and violent tendencies of Uranus and Pluto. In April 2002, there was a coup in Venezuela, accompanied by mass protests, which were also France against the candidacy of far-right politician Jean Marie LePen. And something totally unexpected, but that would mark painfully the awareness of the power of T.V. and the general lack of control over weapons: in Erfurt, Germany, a schoolboy kills 16 children and teachers in a school and kills himself. In a civilized society, barbarism shockingly contaminates the purest part of humanity.

     Other events in June and December 2002, in which there were two additional parallels between Uranus and Pluto, show a global hectic time. The political crisis in Venezuela deepens, North Korea expelled United Nations inspectors and reactivates its nuclear plans, while tens of thousands of people protest in Hong Kong, bombs explode in Chechnya, a huge fire devoured 400 km2 in Denver and pictures of Van Gogh are stolen in Amsterdam. The world is definitely on fire!



2012-2015 and 2031-2038: The two most revolutionary periods in the XXIst century

    And although there have been, certainly other instances in which Uranus and Pluto have interacted astrologically, notably by making angles of 30° and 45°, the contra parallel (1975), the parallel (2002) and square (2012-2015) are the most significant moments in the cycle after the conjunction. And if the present square or angle of 90°, the most dramatic of the angular relationships between celestial bodies, lasts for 4 years, it is because Pluto's orbit is particularly elongated, making it apparently move faster in certain points of its orbit and much slower in others. In comparison, the next series of squares will only last for two years between 2073 and 2074.

     But during most of the XXIst century, the periods of radical change, indicated by this pair of planets, are particularly extended, as in the present period (2012-2015) and on the next series of contra parallels, which will occur in 16 phases (!) between 2031 and 2038. By far, this can be considered the logest revolutionary period of the century, though perhaps not as dramatic and intense as it can be during 2012-2015, since the squares correspond to most dramatic and crucial events than the contra parallel, which symbolizes a process of balance, and not necessarily friction, as the square.



First stage: lighting the fuse with retrograde Uranus and Antennae Galaxies

     Uranus' retrograde station, which happened on July 14th, 2012, was in opposition to the Antenna Galaxies, a topic widely discussed in various sections of the Galactic Guide some days ago. The Antenna Galaxies, located in the constellation Corvus, are in the process of merging: in some million years they will gather their cores to form a single entity. For now, we see them from Earth to have a strong mutual influence. Both have been significantly distorted by the contact, which symbolizes relationships that exert great influence over the individual.

     When Uranus, a planet that represents individuality, opposes these galaxies in July 2012, it indicates that the process of revolution in its first phase, is motivated by two features. The first is the need to join forces at a collective level to achieve the changes required in today's civilization: many individuals will suddenly be drawn by a social conscience and will add voluntarily to the change process. Union means strength ... The second relates to the resistance of individuals to accept the influence of a society whose design does not really take into account their needs. The globalization process at this stage is about to give greater strength to the power of the individual and not to the institutions that control society, whether through the state apparatus, corporations and companies, or underground organizations.



The global spring in autumn 2012: struggle between control and freedom

     But probably the most intense period of 2012 will be around September, as Pluto makes its direct station on the 17th, a day before the exact square to Uranus. The two events happening within 24 hours indicates that the events will be much more intense. Uranus is in ecliptic opposition to the Draco Spindle galaxy in the constellation Draco. This galaxy represents major obstacles to overcome: the struggle between the renewal and resistance to it will polarize particularly at this time, and there is no doubt that will coincide with explosive events worldwide. Uranus specialty is breaking down barriers, but in this case those represented by the Draco Spindle Galaxy galaxy's are particularly difficult to manage. The theme this time will certainly be to push for the releasing of restrictions around the world, probably referring to the collective resistance to the increasing internet control by governments, since it has been recognized as precisely the mechanism of power that binds the masses together: communication. Tough restrictions on freedom will be attempted, but there will also be a great resistance to it.

     The struggle can be intense: Uranus is in September 2012 in parallel to star cluster M5, which is characterized by being very old and very large with a great number of variable stars, which are exhausting their vital fuel, symbolizing a very strong, conservative power which is also being undermined. The more so as Uranus, the revolutionary, gets also involved! Pluto, meanwhile, is in contra parallel to M44, the Beehive Cluster, whose tendency is towards expression, communication and represents, in case anyone had not noticed, the wave of demonstrations worldwide. The contra parallel indicates an adjustment  between controlling mechanisms of governments and corporations, visible or hidden, and the will of the people on Earth, which seems to be very determined to avoid being controlled.

     It also noteworthy that Pluto is also in an ecliptic conjunction with star cluster M69, which represents the financial power of corporations, because of its high metallicity. So we have a collision between the power of money and social-oriented policies, including the state apparatus, invaded by the economic interests of companies, and the will of the people, tired of being manipulated and subordinated to political interests of an élite.


A prolonged struggle for the new paradigms

    But this is only the beginning. One can hardly declare a winner of this contest. Knowing that this stage will last until 2015, people should not be discouraged if there is some progress at certain times and setbacks at others. In every struggle there are several different phases, but it is clear that the prolonged revolutionary process in this decade is what will undermine the existing structures. And while these social structures continue to have power over individuals, it can actually be seen as a shell whose fissures let us glimpse the trends that were incubating for nearly 50 years. Yes, ever since the cultural revolution of the 60's irrupted in many different ways to make the statements of a new phase which will last for more than a century. The traces left of that movement at that time were the seeds of for the new cycle, actually paradigms that belong to a global society, which is free, environmentally friendly and cosmopolitan, in contrast with a colonial empire driven by money and corruption, although in many respects they might resemble.

     But do not confuse the shell with the new being coming from the inside. The year 2012 is the time to apply the principles of freedom, strength and regeneration which gradually have been germinating over the past 5 decades, and we must be properly positioned to contribute from our individual reality. Those who are indifferent or oblivious to this process can be dragged and swept by this process, rather than participating and flowing with it. There is no doubt that during this year we have some of the biggest challenges of this turbulent period. But, if approached with enthusiasm, intelligence and above all, a sense of unity among people and nations, we will pave the way for changes in the subsequent years to be more regenerative than destructive. It is therefore important to be part of the change process, and not detach from it! And while the planets indicate, as a cosmic calendar of celestial grandeur where we are located now, we are the ones who decide where to direct our destiny. We always did, only now it is happening with a greater collective consciousness.

May 6th: Vesta, Mercury and galaxy M33 indicate a time of great creativity, but also mental rest and spiritual devotion... And a Supermoon conjunct star cluster M5 invites us to question ourselves...

May 6th: Mercury is in parallel to Vesta and conjunct the galaxy M33. This trend represents an excellent opportunity for mental focus and dedication. So the day is good for activities that require special attention, but any creative activity will benefit from this trend. M33 is a galaxy with a meaning of creativity and abundance, as it has one of the largest known regions of ionized hydrogen: it measures 15.000 light-years! Therefore, the transit of Vesta and Mercury today, which allows concentration, suggests a sustained work on a source of creativity and on recourses available. But we must make the effort to realize them. We must take advantage of them! And for those who want to rest, it is a good day to silence the mind a bit, and let it free from interruptions... Try to meditate, pray, study, or simply make a satisfying domestic work at home. Neptune at 60° from Vesta accentuates this trend, favoring above all the work on  imagination, art, spirituality, psychology ...

The Supermoon of 2012 (a full moon at its closest point to Earth that looks a bit larger than normal) fell in the zodiacal sign of Scorpio and conjunct star cluster M5. This represents an opportunity to see clearly our beliefs and insecurities ... and transform them. Scorpio signifies the introspective and revealing quality of the full moon, allowing us to see beyond our everyday consciousness ... But M5 is an old cluster, with many variable stars and therefore symbolizes habits, traditions, ideas, routines that have been going on for some time. This can cause inconsistencies and uncertainty because these ideas may no longer fit our present reality. During the next 15 days, the work will be checking if the things we take for granted and our most deeply rooted convictions correspond with our present situation. If not, the Supermoon in Scorpio will show us more clearly than ever where we should change our thinking and where to redirect our actions...

Mayo 6: Vesta en paralelo a Mercurio y en conjunción a la galaxia M33.  Esta tendencia representa una excelente oportunidad  de concentración mental y dedicación. Por ello, el día se presta a realizar actividades que requieran una atención especial; pero cualquier actividad se beneficará de canalizar el pensamiento hacia acciones creativas. M33 es una galaxia con un significado de creatividad y abundancia, ya que posee una de las regiones de hidrógeno ionizado más grandes que se conocen en cuaquier galaxia cercana: ¡ mide 15,000 años luz! Por ello, el tránsito de Vesta y Mercurio, que permite la concentración, sugiere un trabajo sostenido sobre una enorme fuente de creatividad y recusos disponibles. Pero hay que hacer el esfuerzo de materializarlos. ¡Hay que sacarles ventaja!  Y para quienes deseen descansar, es un buen día para aquietar la mente, liberarse de interrupciones y meditar, hacer oración, estudiar, o simplemente hacer un satisfactorio trabajo doméstico en casa. Neptuno a 60° de Vesta acentúa esta tendencia, favoreciendo sobrre todo el trabajo sobre la imaginación, el arte, la espiritualidad, la psicología...

La Superluna del 2012 (una Luna Llena en su apogeo, en su punto más cercano a la Tierra y se ve más grande de lo normal) cayó en el signo zodiacal de Escorpio y en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M5. Esto representa una oportunidad de ver con claridad nuestras convicciones e inseguridades...y transformarlas. Escorpio significa la cualidad introspectiva y reveladora de la Luna Llena, lo que nos permite ver detrás de nuestra conciencia habitual... Pero M5 es un cúmulo viejo, con muchas estrellas variables y por lo tanto simboliza hábitos, tradiciones, ideas, rutinas que nos rigen desde hace tiempo y que en el presente pueden provocar inconsistencias e inseguridad pues ya no se adaptan a la realidad. Duante los próximos 15 días, el trabajo será revisar si las cosas que damos por hecho y nuestras convicciones más arraigadas corresponden con nuestra dinámica presente. Si no, la Superluna en Escorpio nos mostará con más claridad que nunca en dónde debemos cambiar nuestro pensamiento y redirigir nuestras acciones...

April 2nd: Vesta, Pallas and star cluster M5 improve daily routines, while Ceres and the Andromeda Galaxy support independent projects; in addition, the Sun, Jupiter and the Great Orion Nebula let abundance flow

April 2nd: Vesta is in parallel to Pallas and star cluster M5 and is at 45° of Neptune. This combination indicates a focus on strategies that correct inconsistencies in everyday life. The emphasis is on daily routine, the things we do every day at home, at work, school or in other contexts. The Vesta/Palas mix implies an ability to improve our routine and make it more efficient. Focus on this may seem trivial, but by making improvements we will work better and with more satisfaction. Ceres, the largest asteroid in the solar system is in ecliptic conjunction with the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), the visually largest galaxy in our sky, and in opposition to Saturn. All opposition represents an opportunity to balance, and in this case, it means to properly distribute time between obligations and social commitments, and the independent opportunities the universe provides to grow in consciousness. Ceres represents resources, and M31 a strong magnetism. Therefore, it is possible to generate the necessary support to achieve our goals despite resistance from certain people (symbolized by Saturn in Libra) or perhaps society as a whole. What others do not give us, we must look for ourselves, and today the Andromeda Galaxy, together with the supportive Ceres, shows us excellent opportunities to enrich ourselves individually in many ways, without relying on others and their limitations. The Sun is in parallel to the Great Orion Nebula (M42) and at 30° from Jupiter, which points to a moment of great abundance. M42 is an area of intense star formation, so it represents a lot of fertility. The same is true of the semi-sextile between the Sun and Jupiter, so today major investments and purchases are favored. Excellent financial arrangements, negotiations, contracts can be done. Of course, as always with Jupiter, excessive spending and a waste of resources is possible too, without the appropriate restrictions. Otherwise, open your eyes to see where and how the universe is providing  abundance, because today, you will be able to see the one that belongs to you. Observe! And let abundance flow ...

January 21st: The Sun, Uranus and galaxy M88 accelerate positive changes, while Pallas corrects inconsistent strategies of star cluster M5, with the help of Pluto and Mars.

January 21st: The Sun at 60° from Uranus and at 120° from galaxy M88. This combination is particularly positive to push forward projects, especially by making changes, renovations or implemening new methods. The galaxy M88 is one of the fastest in the galactic neighborhood, so it represents a quick resolution, an acceleration of circumstances. And while the opposition with Uranus will still be in effect for about a week, today the Sun gives it an extra boost. So...let's work to overcome stagnation! The other important combination of this day seems to go in the same direction: Pallas, the strategist and corrector among the solar system asteroids, is contra parallel to the star cluster M5, at 45° from Pluto and at 150° from Mars. The contact with M5 indicates the possibility of correcting inconsistencies in  communication or modifying plans that are no longer working adequately. To do this, adjust the procedures to actual conditions, even if it means an extra effort. For many of us, a hard day of work is ahead and this can extend throughout the whole weekend ... The good news is that results can be very satisfactory. The investment of energy should be then on changing strategies; do not insist on continuing with rigid or outdated procedures.

Enero 21: El Sol a 60° Urano y a 120° de la galaxia M88. Esta combinación es particularmente positiva para hacer avanzar proyectos, sobre todo si se trata de hacer cambios, renovaciones o implementar nuevos métodos. La galaxia M88 es una de las más veloces en el universo cercano, por lo que implica una rápida resolución, un aceleramiento de las circunstancias. Y si bien su oposición con Urano estará vigente todavía aproximadamente una semana, el día de hoy el Sol le da un impulso extra. Así que...¡a romper el estancamiento! La otra combinación importante de este día parece ir en el mismo sentido: Palas, la estratega y correctora de los asteroides, está en contraparalelo al cúmulo estelar M5, a 45° de Plutón y a 150° de Marte. El contacto con M5 indica la posibilidad de corregir inconsistencias en la comunicación o de modificar planes que ya no están funcionando. Para ello, hay que ajustar los procedimientos a la realidad concreta del momento, aunque esto implique un esfuerzo extra. A muchos nos espera una ardua jornada de trabajo que puede extenderse durante todo e fin de semana... Pero es bueno saber que los resultados pueden ser muy satisfactorios y que la inversión de energía debe ser en la modificación de estrategias, y no insistir en continuar con procedimientos obsoletos o rígidos.

2012: Inicio de una revolución global

     ¿El 2011 les pareció un año rudo? ¿Demasiados cambios drásticos, una atmósfera revolucionaria? Pues tomen esto: aparentemente se trató sólo de un ensayo para los años 2012, 2013, 2014 y 2015, en los cuales se intensificarán las tendencias del año que acaba de terminar. Entre las combinaciones planetarias del 2011 que podemos identificar como indicadoras de cambios y una exacerbación del deseo de libertad, destaca sin duda el juego de aspectos entre Júpiter y Urano, entre los que contamos paralelos, contraparalelos, una conjunción y dos semisextiles a lo largo del año. Cualquier combinación entre Júpiter y Urano es un indicador de un enorme deseo de libertad, y por ello coincide con un fortalecimiento de las tendencias sociales que buscan cambios radicales. De por sí es raro que estos planetas hagan tantos contactos en un mismo año, pero en especial los paralelos y contraparalelos, sucedieron alrededor del punto equinoccial, un eje importantísimo para el desarrollo de los eventos internacionales. Cualquier planeta que cruce este eje indica sucesos importantes en el mundo.

    Si les parece difícil creer esto, tomen en cuenta que el 11 de Marzo del 2011 Urano cruzó el punto del equinoccio, entrando al signo zodiacal de Aries y coincidiendo con la catástrofe del tsunami en Japón y la crisis de la central atómica de Fukushima. Es inevitable darse cuenta que este terrible suceso nos debe hacer reconsiderar nuestra relación con la naturaleza y con la energía atómica. Si Urano representa cambios, ahora nos indica que es indispensable reorientar nuestro desarrollo como civilización. Esto no puede ser sino un proceso largo y doloroso en un mundo dominado por el poder del dinero y la corrupción, que se sustenta en una filosofía de competencia y no de unidad, de sometimiento y no de libertad. Pero este tránsito ha dejado claro que una gran parte de la población mundial ya ha respondido a este llamado de renovación, en gran medida gracias al internet y la tecnología, también asociados a Urano. Ahora bien, no es de esperarse que el cambio se produzca de manera automática: el primer impulso de Urano ha resultado desgarrador y eso lo vemos plasmado en las sangrientas revoluciones que han surgido en países como Siria, Libia, Egipto...


El inicio de un período de cambios intensos

     Pero no es momento de ponernos a descansar de tales procesos, ya que durante los próximos cuatro años Urano va a interactuar intensamente con otro planeta que simboliza cambios profundos: Plutón. Ambos cuerpos celestes se situarán en siete ocasiones a 90° el uno del otro, formando una cuadratura, una relación altamente dinámica y que sugiere una intensificación de la necesidad de cambio a nivel global. Plutón se encuentra en el signo zodiacal de Capricornio, que simboliza los gobiernos, y Urano en Aries, que representa el surgimiento de la individualidad. Son pues de esperarse difíciles procesos en los cuales las estructuras de gobierno se verán fuertemente cuestionadas por la iniciativa de los ciudadanos o por una oposición, clandestina o no, fuera de control.

     Urano transitando por el signo zodiacal de Aries indica que esta energía renovadora es fuerte pero irreflexiva, evolutiva pero impulsiva y hasta agresiva. Por otro lado, Plutón es un planeta que representa manipulación, así que es obvio que se corre el peligro de un intento de control por parte de muchos gobiernos, que por lo visto se manifestarán tratando de reprimir una situación que por naturaleza está fuera de toda posibilidad de ser controlada. Lo más probable es que, debido a la incapacidad de los gobiernos de responder a las necesidades de la población y a los problemas de una civilización decadente, se dé una lucha feroz entre la rebeldía y la represión. Así, nadie gana y todos pierden al radicalizarse las posturas. Por supuesto, en cada país o región las cosas se experimentarán de diferente manera, según las condiciones reinantes localmente.


El renovador ciclo Urano/Plutón y sus fases críticas: 1965/1966 y 2012/2015

    Pero en el plano personal es mucho lo que se puede hacer para mejorar esta situación. Después de todo, las masas están hechas de miles, de millones de individuos. El problema es cuando éstos responden de una manera inconsciente a las tendencias colectivas. Como personas individuales, nos conviene entender claramente estos procesos para canalizarlos en nuestro beneficio. De otro modo, corremos el peligro de ser arrastrados por ellos sin conocer la razón. A mayor grado de conciencia sobre el proceso y el momento en que se vive, menores son las posibilidades de extraviarse. Así que en los próximos cuatro años es necesario saber que esta cuadratura Urano/Plutón es sólo una fase de un ciclo de 140 años entre ambos planetas. Los ciclos de los planetas más lentos del sistema solar son los de mayor importancia para la evolución de la sociedad, ya que su lentitud los hace más persistentes y su "efecto" es más prolongado. Ahora bien, un proceso de cuatro años, abarca casi media década. Es de esperarse entonces que los años a venir sean los que marquen el carácter revolucionario de la década del 2010 dentro del siglo XXI, así como los eventos en los años 60's sobresalen en el siglo XX. Al menos en lo que a revoluciones se refiere.

      Y es que el presente ciclo Urano/Plutón empezó en 1965, en la mitad de una década que fue testigo de una revolución cultural y social a la vez que tecnológica. En el comienzo de un ciclo es donde está la semilla de lo que se desarrollará posteriormente conforme éste transcurre. Podemos esperar que, cada vez que haya un contacto astrológico significativo entre Urano y Plutón, los temas básicos del inicio del ciclo se repitan. Si vemos todo lo que sucedió en los legendarios años 60's del siglo XX, podemos inferir que en esta fase los paradigmas serán los mismos que en la era de la psicodelia: la necesidad de transgresión, de trascendencia, la rebeldía a las instituciones tradicionales, la liberación de áreas sometidas por el control político, religioso, social. En esa transgresión hubo excesos, pero también eventos de gran evolución, como la llegada del ser humano a la Luna, que a su vez impulsó enormemente el desarrollo de la tecnología que hoy, después de 40 años, nos hace hablar gratis en una videoconferencia. No todas las revoluciones tienen que ser sangrientas; y aún así insistimos en que lo sean. ¿No será por la falta de conciencia?

    El cambio no es algo bueno o malo: es parte de la vida. Así como hay momentos y procesos donde lo que predomina es la estabilidad, la preservación, la seguridad, hay otros donde las formas y tradiciones se rompen por alguna causa. Los humanos sabemos, aunque no siempre lo queramos reconocer, que la vida es una alternancia de procesos de generación, preservación y finalmente, de destrucción. En algunas épocas se acentúa más uno, en otras otro. "No hay mal que dure cien años" reza la sabiduría popular, y en períodos de cambios radicales como éste los individuos conscientes pueden canalizar adecuadamente la tendencia general y hacer avanzar sus propios proyectos, para beneficio de los demás y de sí mismos. Claro está, en una civilización en decadencia estos momentos de cambio intenso pueden hacer colapsar una estructura ya de por sí resquebrajada por el tiempo, el exceso, la codicia, la maldad... A algunos -muchos- les tocará empujar fuertemente hacia adelante en su campo de acción para ir con la marea en vez de dejarse revolcar por ella.


Junio 2012: interacción con las Galaxias Antena y M22

    Tal vez si analizamos de cerca las dos primeras cuadraturas de Urano y Plutón podamos discernir con una mayor precisión lo que refleja cada una, ya que ambas definirán en gran medida la atmósfera reinante en el 2012. La primera cuadratura sucede el 24 de Junio del 2012, estando Urano en oposición a las Galaxias Antena y Plutón en conjunción al cúmulo estelar M22. Las Galaxias Antena son un ejemplo visualmente impresionante de un choque de galaxias en la constelación de Corvus, el Cuervo. Las figuras de ambas están fuertemente distorsionadas por la interacción, indicando que se trata de relaciones impactantes, y a la vez, enriquecedoras. El choque de galaxias provoca el nacimiento de millones de estrellas al comprimirse el gas y el polvo que flota en ellas. Si Urano se encuentra en oposición, esto puede significar una resistencia a dejarse influir o a cooperar. En el plano internacional, puede haber crisis causadas por la negativa de algunos países a cooperar en determinadas áreas. También puede simbolizar tendencias rebeldes o clandestinas que se oponen a las políticas gubernamentales.

     Las Galaxias Antena reflejan en gran medida el proceso de globalización. Ya no se puede estar en este mundo sin ser parte de este proceso y esto implica cambios en las políticas y las leyes. Las resistencias a cooperar y a participar serán pues el tema difícil alrededor de estas fechas. Curiosamente, Plutón, que normalmente es el "chico malo" de la peícula, en esta ocasión parece indicar el camino de salida a estos problemas. Plutón hace la cuadratura a Urano estando en conjunción eclíptica con el cúmulo estelar M22, uno de los más equilibrados en nuestra galaxia y que representa una coexistencia moderada y un balance entre el control y la libertad. Si Plutón representa una transformación evolutiva, es en la dirección de un equilibrio, lo cual no suena nada mal. Pero este balance debe ser lo suficientemente fuerte como para resistir la tendencia extremista, rebelde, simbolizada por Urano.


Septiembre 2012: interacción con M5 y M69

     Tal será la atmósfera reinante a mediados de 2012, ya que surge de la primera cuadratura que servirá para "aflojar" el terreno para los cambios relacionados con las otras seis. ¿Qué hay con la siguiente cuadratura Urano/Plutón? Ésta tendrá lugar el 18 de Septiembre 2012, Urano estando en paralelo con el cúmulo estelar M5 y Plutón en conjunción con el cúmulo estelar M69. Aparentemente, ésta es más deicada, ya que Urano, que simboliza el proceso de cambio y de renovación, está en paralelo a M5, un cúmulo estelar que representa tendencias conservadoras; su significado es radicalmente opuesto el uno del otro. De algún modo, es como si Urano llegara a renovar una estructura que no desea hacerlo. La resistencia al cambio y las políticas ultraconservadoras son las que van a detonar una crisis significativa, que probablemente también se extienda al campo financiero.

     Surgen a la mente zonas donde las políticas tradicionalistas y utranacionalistas representan ya un grave problema y amenaza a a estabilidad internacional: Irán, Pakistán, Corea del Norte... En un año del Dragón, las declaraciones provocadoras y las amenazas estarán al por mayor, ¡ojalá todavía predomine para entonces la tendencia moderadora simbolizada por Plutón y M22!   Pero esto puede suceder al interior de cualquier país, así como en nosotros mismos, que en varias ocasiones deberemos tomar decisiones a partir de nuevos conceptos, haciendo que nuestras costumbres protesten y se resistan. Probablemente esto tenga que ver también con nuestra economía personal, y la del mundo.

     Esto puede inferirse a través de la conjunción de Plutón al cúmulo M69, que representa valor y abundancia. Si Plutón implica un proceso regenerador, se trata en este caso de regenerar el sistema financiero mundial, y gran parte de los ajustes se darán fuera de las crisis meramente políticas. Es la mecánica de la distribución de la riqueza y de los medios de producción que debe transformarse para el servicio de la gente y no para el beneficio de unos cuantos. Éste es un proceso largo, por supuesto, pero en el 2012 podremos ver el inicio de una nueva dirección perfilarse. El malestar de a política y los mercados en el 2011 se debe a la incertidumbre y a la falta de consenso, indicados por la conjunción de Neptuno con el cúmulo M15 en el final del 2011, que tiende a la discordia y a dificultades para hacer acuerdos.


Participación personal en la ola de renovación

    No mucho se logró hasta ese momento, pero es probable que las cosas cambien alrededor de Septiembre 2012. Si para ese entonces ya se implementado un plan de acción para estabilizar el Euro, por ejemplo, es probable que los ajustes, por estrictos que sean en cada país, tengan un buen efecto, que será contradictorio con la crisis de renovación en el plano político. Quizás sea al revés: la crisis económica puede contrastar con una renovación política en algunos países donde hay gobiernos ultraconservadores, o más bien, ser simultánea a ésta. Sí, lo increíble puede pasar, pero lo más plausible es sin duda la primera posibilidad. Como sea, son de esperarse fuertes crisis en las cuales la ventana de salida es la renovación; el problema será causado por la resistencia, la no cooperación, tanto en el plano mundial como en el plano personal.

     Cada país tiene una carta astral individual, de modo que para saber qué sucederá con más detalle, es necesario ver cómo encajan estas dos primeras cuadraturas entre Urano y Plutón en cada una. Pero esto va más allá del objetivo de este artículo, que es exponer el significado y valorar la relevancia de este fenómeno tan importante como es una cuadratura entre dos planetas lentos. cada país merece un articulo, que ya irán siendo publicados en la Guía Galáctica... Pero esta combinación planetaria es algo real, y es importante conocer su naturaeza en un momento tan crítico de la evolución de la humanidad, y del planeta. Y también lo es con tanto bombardeo de información acerca de las supuestas "Profecías Mayas". Ahora incluso la tendencia general es en contra de esta información falsa, que en la imaginación Hollywoodense plantea un panorama apocalíptico. Esto puede ser peligroso, porque entonces mucha gente convencida de que algo va a pasar puede ayudar a catalizar un cambio drástico, pero guiada por el miedo y equivocarse, como ha sucedido en numerosas ocasiones con el ascenso de líderes fascistas al poder...  Pero tampoco quiere decir que no vaya a pasar nada.

     Por supuesto que va a haber cambios drásticos y hay que estar conscientes de ello, para no exponerse a peligros y a resistencias que generen contradicciones. Si los cambios son catalizados por fenómenos naturales, el cambio y la adaptación será forzoso. Mientras ustedes leen nesto, enormes cantidades de metano sestán siendo liberadas a la atmósfera por causa del calentamiento global, que derrite la capa de hielo que lo ha mantenido bajo la superficie durante miles de años. Nadie sabe lo que pueda pasar, pero seguramente esto puede desencadenar otros fenómenos destructivos. Ojalá los gobiernos fueran conscientes del panorama astral tanto a nivel global como en sus propios países, pero desafortunadamente el paradigma de nuestra civilización no incluye una visión armonizada con el Cosmos, y en esencia éso es lo que hay que cambiar.

     La vida en la Tierra, desprovista de su cordón umbilical al Universo y a la naturaleza pierde su sentido real. Una cosmovisión menos materialista, mecanicista, competitiva y más orientada a lo social, a la cooperación y a lo verdaderamente espiritual es lo que necesitamos para sobrevivir como civilización y como especie. El planeta seguirá girando por mucho más tiempo y vivirá sin duda muchas de estas cuadraturas, alternadas con trígonos y sextiles armónicos, durante millones de años, incluso cuando el humano ya no exista como especie. Pero el reto aquí y ahora, en el 2012 es abrir el camino para replantear nuestros paradigmas, nuestros puntos de referencia, y comprometernos con ello en nuestro campo de acción individual y el colectivo.

Pero hay que hacerlo sin miedo, y con conciencia; es responsabilidad de todos.
